Bellingham Airport to Vancouver Cruise Terminal

We rented a car at the Seattle Airport for a few days drove around the area. We turned the car in at the Bellingham Airport. We booked a trip on Quick Shuttle from the Bellingham Airport to the Vancouver Cruise Terminal. We took the first bus in the morning at 10:25 A.M. scheduled to arrived 12:25 P.M. the prices were reasonable and the drop off location was at the pier where the porters delivered directly to the directly to the ship. The online booking was easy. The Wi-Fi didn’t work during the trip. The ride was good and fast..

Booked Quick Shuttle for two, picking up at Seattle SEATAC airport and dropping us at River Rocks Casino Hotel in Vancouver (closest stop to our hotel). Driver arrived on time, very professional, let me jump out to buy bottled water at the downtown stop. Got us through customs like clockwork. Arrived in Vancouver as scheduled. Clean, comfortable Coach. Highly recommend this route as it was way less expensive to fly to Seattle and shuttle to Vancouver instead of flying to Vancouver.

I was disappointed with the quick shuttle booking service and head office. The one saving grace of the trip were the friendly bus drivers. I bought a bus ticket online (Seattle to Vancouver) the evening before travelling. Unbeknownst to me, the timing of my purchase made me a "stand-by" passenger (though this was not indicated anywhere in the sales process or on the final ticket). Upon arriving at the bus terminal the next morning I learnt from the driver that the bus was overbooked and I could not travel. I tried to seek reimbursement in order to travel with Amtrak instead but this was not allowed. I was told to catch the next bus (3 hours later, plus 30 mins behind schedule) where my name was again not on the list and the same thing nearly happened. Would recommend Bolt Bus or Amtrak instead -- they have been more reliable for me and are the same price / cheaper.

Having read some of the reviews about quick shuttle, I was worried about my trip. However I was pleasantly surprised. Quick shuttle exceeded my expectations. The bus was on time. The driver was nice and gave us heads-up regarding the customs and what not. The free WiFi worked well. Obviously it wasn’t quick enough to stream YouTube but I could used Instagram without a problem. The bus was on time while dropping us off. Overall I am satisfied with the ride and would ride with quick shuttle again.

I took this trip as I was told the buses had free Wifi. and in this day and age Wifi is a positive feature and expected from modern businesses. I could not connect for the entire 4 hour trip. Very disappointing. i would not recommend this bus company unless you bring a book or your own downloaded movies i did not bring either. I will stick with Bolt bus from now on. They have good wifi and movies to stream.

We had planned to fly directly to Vancouver for a next day cruise but last minute non-availability of plane seats in Chicago caused a change of plans and flight to Seattle-SeaTac instead. Needing transportation to Vancouver we were advised of the Quick Shuttle Service and directed to the end of the terminal where the bus picked up passengers on a published schedule. There was an unmanned counter with a phone that we used to contact the service. It was easy to make a reservation for the bus ride using a credit card. We were given precise instructions about where to pick up the bus and at what time. The bus arrived at the appointed time and the driver loaded our baggage for the 5-hour trip. The 4 pm bus was not crowded and there was room to spread out and be comfortable. After about 3 hours there was a 20 minute stop at the Bellingham Airport and a short time later a stop at the Canadian border to deposit a Customs form and have our passports inspected. It had started to rain a little and the bus driver told us he would drop us off directly at our hotel rather than at the major scheduled stops. This action was quite nice and kept us from getting wet and arriving much later. It was dark (9 pm) and that gesture was quite appreciated. My fare was $44 (US)(Senior) which was quite reasonable considering the time and distance. The trip, during daylight hours, was quite scenic, interesting, and comfortable.

Quick Coach runs a service during the cruise season from Vancouver's Canada Place cruise terminal to Seattle and it has a stop at Bellingham, WA. which I assume is BLU code.

There schedule is still in a state of flux as it hasn't operated much the past too years but it does show it is open for reservations.

In the olden days it had a bus leaving Vancouver around 9:30 AM but a quick check of their website didn't see one leaving at that time.

QuickCoach as mentioned, and the IATA code is BLI for Bellingham Airport.

BLI is served by Alaska (Seattle), Southwest (Oakland and Las Vegas), and Allegiant (Las Vegas, Oakland, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Phoenix)

Several years ago we rented a car at YVR and dropped it at BLI.

I am also looking for a rental or service that will drive us other than a bus which could take a long time at customs. So far there are no one way rentals from Vancouver to Seattle for overnight. One must rent for two days for a price of $600. Very frustrated. Flights from Vancouver are all connecting.. 

Thank you so much for your answers. I knew I didn't want to rent a car and I did check other options, in the end I booked a new flight for double to fly out of Vancouver to my home airport in 3 1/2 hours travel time.  mount origibal flight ( albeit super cheap) was almost 6 bites with the layover please adding a few hours to travel in WA deal with possible border waits as well. We would have traveled 730am-630pm, now it's 1050a-225pm.

I have a travel credit for our original flights.

I almost took a car service that has e Celine t reviews for roughly $200 USD including all fees, gas etc and 18% gratuity. .  I have never used them but could DM the info if you like. Their correspondence was professional even when I cancelled my cooking.
