Bill Burr at Fenway Park: Buy Bill Burr tickets for comedian’s historic stop at home of the Red Sox

Canton, Massachusetts, native Bill Burr will make history when he steps up to the mic at Fenway Park this summer.

The comedian will be the first to do so in the iconic ballpark’s long history when he brings his  Bill Burr (Slight Return) Tour  to the home of the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, August 21.

Fans looking to see the comedian, which has starred in everything from Netflix shows to TV series, is excited going back to the city where it all began.

“I started doing stand-up in Boston 30 years ago,” Burr said in a press release. “Never imagined it would lead to Fenway. Kind of speechless, which is rare for a big mouth like me.”

Fans looking to get to the show can shop around for tickets at VividSeats and TicketNetwork .

TicketNetwork seats were starting at $167 as of April 28 , while VividSeats seats were going for $141 as of the same date.

Fenway will be a busy place all summer long and it won’t just be for baseball. Paul McCartney will take the stage on June 7 and June 8. Check out the concert series below:

BOSTON — Comedian Bill Burr is coming to Fenway Park this summer.

The Massachusetts native will be the first stand-up comic to perform at the legendary ballpark in its 110-year history.

Burr announced the Aug. 21 show as part of his “Bill Burr (Slight Return)” tour. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 22 at 10 a.m.

In addition to comedy, Burr is an actor and writer, appearing in “The King of Staten Island,” “The Mandalorian” and “Breaking Bad,” and co-creating and starring in the Netflix animated series “F is for Family.” He also hosts the popular “Monday Morning Podcast.”

Burr received a Grammy nomination in 2019 for his sixth comedy special, “Bill Burr: Paper Tiger.”

SPRINGFIELD, MA – Emmy & Grammy nominated comedian, Bill Burr adds a second show date by popular demand to the MassMutual Center this October. In addition to his sold out on show on Saturday, August 12 there will be a second chance for fans to get ticket to see Bill Burr on  Sunday, October 1, 2023. 

Tickets will be available through pre-sale beginning Wednesday, May 17 at 10AM ET and general on sale begins Friday, May 19 at 10AM ET For more information, please visit  MassMutualCenter.com  and  BillBurr.com.

Bill Burr is one of the top comedic voices of his generation, achieving success on stage as well as in TV and film. Last August, Bill made history as the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park and his Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts. 

Bill will voice a starring role in Adam Sandler’s animated Netflix film, Leo, premiering November 22 and he co-wrote, directed and will star in the upcoming film, Old Dads. He starred opposite Pete Davidson and Marisa Tomei in the Judd Apatow film, The King of Staten Island, and starred as Mayfeld in The Mandalorian on Disney Plus. 

In 2022, Bill was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor In A Short Form Comedy Or Drama Series for his Roku Channel series, Bill Burr Presents: Immoral Compass. In 2020 he made his debut as host of Saturday Night Live and he was nominated for a Grammy Award for his album, Bill Burr: Paper Tiger.

Bill Burr is a stand-up comedian, actor, and podcaster who has achieved massive success in multiple fields.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Bill began his career as a stand-up comedian in the early 1990s. He quickly developed a following thanks to his irreverent humor and biting commentary on social issues.

In 1995, Bill made his television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman. He would go on to appear on numerous other talk shows and comedy programs over the years, including Conan, The Tonight Show, and Saturday Night Live.

In addition to his stand-up comedy career, Bill has also enjoyed success as an actor and podcaster. He has appeared in such films and TV shows as The Heat, Walk of Shame, and Breaking Bad. He currently hosts the popular podcast, “The Monday Morning Podcast,” which has been downloaded over 150 million times.

Despite his many accomplishments, Bill remains humble and down-to-earth. He is widely respected by his peers and continues to push himself to reach new heights in his various fields of endeavor.

A look at the Early Career of a great comedian Bill Burr

Bill Burr has stated that he was inspired to pursue stand-up comedy after watching Robin Williams perform on the late night show, “The Tonight Show.” He said that Williams’ performance made him feel like anything was possible and gave him the courage to take the risk and enter the world of stand-up comedy. He also cites two of his friends from Boston as being early influences on his style and material.

Bill Burr was born in 1968 in Canton, Massachusetts. He grew up in a working-class family and attended public schools. After high school, he enrolled at Emerson College in Boston, where he studied radio and television production.

It was during his time at Emerson that Burr first began performing stand-up comedy. Inspired by watching Robin Williams on “The Tonight Show,” Burr took the plunge and started performing at local clubs and open mics. He quickly developed a reputation for being a hilarious, irreverent comedian with a knack for social commentary.

After college, Burr moved to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. He made his television debut on the “Late Show with David Letterman” in 1995, and soon began appearing on other talk shows and comedy programs. In 2005, he released his first comedy album, “Bill Burr: Why Do I Do This?”
