3x1 - The Luck

September 23, 1989

News that Goldman and Anderson are missing and believed dead devastates the platoon and Alex.

3x2 - Doc Hock

September 30, 1989

Goldman reveals to Zeke that it may be time for him to move to a desk job. Alex is glad to see Myron back but tells him that she is going to take the Paris job. Elsewhere, Taylor, Percell and Ruiz tease a new recruit who is a pacificist. Taylor knocks the new medic, Hockenberry on his butt. Zeke is just as horrified as the rest when he is told by Doc Hock that he won't carry a weapon. Afterwards, Anderson meets Goldman's replace, a no-nonsense but wet-behind-the-ears new LT who thinks he already knows everything there is to know. Zeke also learns that he has received a promotion. Alex arranges a final going-away party for her and Myron. Alex ends up missing her plane to Paris but not because of the party but because she has a chance to do an exclusive and dangerous interview with a VC officer. After getting out of the interview, Alex meets Myron in Saigon, for there last dinner, before going to Paris. As Alex waits for Myron in front of the restaurant, a bomb explodes, killing her with

3x3 - The Ties That Bind

October 7, 1989

Col. Carl Brewster enters the local Vietnamese town to make the ""boom-boom"" parlor off-limits because of men catching the clap. Goldman and McKay attended the funeral for Alex who was killed in the bomb explosion. Anderson and the squad have been transferred to MACV-SOG, under the command of Col. Brewster. Brewster lets Hockenberry ""volunteer"" for a special assignment ,cleaning up the whore houses. Goldman has trouble dealing with his feelings about Alex's death. Anderson is thinking about using some of his leave to go visit his daughter, but he is concerned about Goldman. Goldman returns to the unit, both he and Anderson meets up with Brewster for the first time. Goldman breaks up a party when the unit meets up with Baker again -- by telling Johnson that he is in charge of the squad while Anderson goes home for some leave. Zeke visits his ex-wife, Carol, and their daughter, Katie. Johnson finds he has a hard time filling Zeke's shoes and dealing with Percell who is on a dangerous downward spiral.

3x4 - Lonely at the Top

October 14, 1989

While Zeke is back in the States, Brewster sends the men out to locate a missing SOG team. Once in the bush, Team Viking locates the missing soldiers, who all appear to be dead. It is an NVA trap; the enemy opens up just as the American reach the bodies but retreat quickly when Johnson leads a counter-strike against them. Johnson faces a crisis of confidence because men under his command were killed. Ruiz is struggling with Doc Hock's pacifist attitudes, Johnson is getting worse and Taylor is losing faith in everyone. Anderson arrives back in Texas and spends time with Dr. Seymour. They spend the weekend together and discuss the days ahead, Zeke has trouble seeing any future that involves him returning to the World.

3x5 - A Bodyguard of Lies

October 28, 1989

Utter havoc reigns in the jungle after a newby makes a mistake and two other soldiers are killed going to his resuce. The men are led by Lt. Beller, and his unit has seen far too much action and too much death. Beller is an old friend of Goldman's, together they are sent back out to search for an NVA regiment. Beller tells command that his men need rest or they are going to snap but Brewster insists they must go out. Meanwhile everyone is happy to see Anderson return, except for the ever-depressed Percell. Goldman spends some time with Beller. Percell is going over the edge fast and no one knows that he has started to use drugs. Anderson discovers that Brewster is married to a Vietnamese girl and they have a child. The next day, on their mission, Percell (drugged up) starts to panic. Beller's unit creates a My Lai-type of massacre in the field and that sends Percell off the deep end and straight into the waiting arms of heroin dealers.

3x6 - A Necessary End

November 4, 1989

McKay has a date with a ""killer"" blonde but on the way to take her shopping he ends up hitting a child with his jeep and comes in contact, for the first time, with a makeshift orphanage where he decides to get involved with the orphans. Doc finds Purcell high on grass and drugs. Purcell leave in a huff, seeking more drugs, and ends up arrested and assigned to a ""shit burner"" detail. Goldman goes to Brewster to report the massacre. Later, Goldman and Anderson are briefed on a mission into Cambodia to kidnap a defecting NVA officer. Percell tries to desert.

3x7 - Cloud Nine

November 11, 1989

Taylor, Ruiz and Johnson go in search of Purcell after he goes AWOL. They look for 3 days, finally being taken to a heroin parlor by three drug dealers. Danny refuses to leave and the 3 thugs won't let the soldiers force Danny out. Later, Anderson and Team Viking are trying to find a road that is part of the Ho Chi Minh trail. When they find the road they return to the base where everyone knows about Danny. Brewster tells Goldman to solve the problem and Goldman insists upon talking about the massacre. Brewster puts his own career in jeopardy as he tries to get the army to deal with Phu An massacre. Anderson (under pressure from Goldman) organizes a commando raid and goes into Cholon to spring Purcell -- who then is forced to go through cold-turkey withdrawal. Brewster is ordered to shut up about the Phu An massacre.

3x8 - Thanks for the Memories

November 18, 1989

The men of Team Viking are receiving medals in a ceremony in recognition of their heroism. In the midst of the ceremony, General Higgins arrives and reads out Brewster. Higgins thinks Brewster should have kept his mouth closed about Phu An. Higgins leaves with the threat that he will destroy Brewster if the colonel keeps ""forcing the issue"". Anderson talks with Percell who is off drugs, finally, and is now spending time at the Psych Ward. Doc calls home and finds out that his girl friend is sleeping with someone else. Brewster takes the story of Phu An to the press and is relieved of duty.

3x9 - I Am What I Am

December 2, 1989

Team Viking goes out to capture a Soviet chopper but ends up surrounded and captured. Luckily the mission was just practice. Myron discovers that his father -- Gernal Goldman -- is back on the base. His father has 2-3 months left to live because of cancer. While Myron and his father fight, Johnson attempts to decide if he should re-up or go back to the World. A Mexican/American WAC takes up with Ruiz. Johnson finally decides to go back to the States. Percell wonders if he is yet ready to return to the field. Anderson and McKay butt heads when McKay tries to take over the leadership of a mission.

3x10 - World in Changes

December 9, 1989

McKay decides he is personally going to get the sniper who has been taking out helicopters... but with Anderson and Goldman on the ground and him in the air, HE ends up the next target, crashing and killing his co-pilot. Johnson, with only 72 hours left, gets a bad case of ""short timer's nerves"". Meanwhile a crazy CIA operative -- Duke Fontaine -- takes several VC suspects up in a helicopter and starts throwing them out until one of them will talk. Anderson and the team are going to go out after a VC-recruiter and get permission for Johnson not to go but because Johnson has decided that he ""must stick to the routine"" he ends up going. Taylor and Johnson are captured by the VC and tortured by a sadistic Vietnamese man.

3x11 - Green Christmas

December 23, 1989

Christmas finds Team Viking the bush trying to capture prisoners in Cambodia. Doc tries to show compassion to one of the captured men... who turns out to be able to speak English. Anderson and Goldman exchange Christmas gifts, back at camp. Ruiz takes flowers to Susanna. Taylor finds that he misses Johnson. Team Viking prepares for a Christmas party at the orphanage. Meanwhile, Sgt. Marvin Johnson returns home and finds out that bigotry is alive and well there.

3x12 - Odd Man Out

January 6, 1990

lor is expecting to be promoted at any moment, and opens his mail to find a letter from Johnson talking about how great things are back in the World. Anderson is forced to tell Taylor that he has been passed over for promotion. Taylor starts to deal with the black/white issue -- badly. Percell goes to a black ""bar"" to get Taylor when it becomes obvious that Taylor isn't coming home unless someone goes to get him. Goldman is told that Team Viking is going to go on a mission being dictated by a local Vietnamese Province Chief. The man is going to trade permission to use his village as a base for artillery (which will save many American lives) for the team's going to get his wife). Only after the team agrees do they discover that the woman is pregnant (with another man's child), sick and running from her husband.

3x13 - And Make Death Proud to Take Us

January 20, 1990

Newbie replacements arrive, including a young man that gains Anderson's attention as he and Team Viking return from the field, as the boy proves to be 15 years old. FNGs are moving in all over Team Viking. Goldman (suffering from the same shortage of room) finds himself bunked up with McKay. Team Viking gets assigned a recon mission based on Fontaine's information. Anderson and Goldman spend as much time as possible breaking in the new guys. Zeke and Myron head out with 18 FNG's. Anderson's unit stops to dig in a defensive position to work from, but before completing the bunkers they are attacked by the enemy, and due to outstanding bravery and courage, a few actually survive.

3x14 - Dead Man Tales

February 3, 1990

Team Viking earns a 3-day pass and then promptly gets itself in trouble because of their brawling. While the major is reading every one out about this, a shot from the jungle kills him. Anderson assigns Bell and Doc to work at the orphanage and takes the rest of them out. Goldman is sent out to find the sniper ""or else"". McKay's new gunner opens fire on the Americans below him -- by mistake -- killing a large number of them. The Team gets thoroughly drunk and Bell climbs up on the top of a building and ends up falling to his death. When the others realize what has happened they decide to get him listed as KIA. McKay, meanwhile, goes after the sniper himself!

3x15 - Road to Long Binh

February 10, 1990

All of the enlisted men of Team Viking end up with food poisioning. Goldman is forced, because of that, to take on an assignment himself that he had intended to assign to someone else, drafting Anderson to come along. They pick up a deserter who Anderson has known as the ""ideal"" soldier for years. As the two men spend time together they talk about their early meetings, etc. Zeke gets a letter from Johnson. The next day Digby (the deserter) escapes before Anderson and Goldman get there but is recaptured. They start off to Long Binh prison. Digby has been a soldier for 14 years but gave it up when some soldiers started to give him and his Vietnamese wife a hard time. Digby ends up saving their lives, a number of times, and he ends up ""accidentally"" escaping

3x16 - Acceptable Losses

February 17, 1990

Team Viking takes off on another Fontaine mission, where they run into heavy contact. McKay arrives back at the LZ to rescue them, only to end up being fired on by missiles. He has no choice but to leave without Taylor, Ruiz and Private Woznaik. They attempt to make it back to their own lines on their own. The team goes back to check for their men -- McKay gets tricked by the VC and nearly killed -- only Taylor's self-sacrificing smoke grenade gets the chopper pilot back up in time. Wozniak ends up dead of a snake bite, leaving Ruiz and Taylor on their own. As the days pass, Taylor and Ruiz are replaced by two new soldiers, including 44-year-old PFC Thoams ""Pop"" Scarlett, a lifer with a unique perspective on the war.

3x17 - Vietnam Rag

February 24, 1990

Taylor and Ruiz are still listed as MIA. At the camp there are still more FNGs, including a peace-loving photographer. Anderson is told by Goldman that Team Viking is about to be back to SOS (same old shit) missions -- no more special operations. Pop's son is reportedly one of the new guys. Suzanne returns from leave to hear that Ruiz is missing. The photographer gets permission to go out with Anderson's team. Things go bad fast, and they are soon losing soldiers to stupid reasons -- and mostly just because they are FNGs.

3x18 - War is a Contact Sport

March 24, 1990

Out in the field, Percell captures a VC. Doc and another soldier stand guard. A second VC attacks Danny and while Doc and the other soldier watch, the first VC grabs a gun. Doc refuses to fire, despite the fact that he has the only other weapon and the third American is killed. Colonel Brewster returns for the Phu An board of inquiry. Everyone ostracizes Doc, feeling that they can't trust him. Goldman meets up with Brewster after Pop has punched the colonel out. Meanwhile, Ruiz and taylor have crawled out of the jungle after 22 days. Doc -- told he is going to be transferred out as he is ""no longer dependable"" -- meets up with Pop and goes on a bender. Ruiz leans that Suzanne has suffered a breakdown due to the stress of the job and losing him (she thought).

3x19 - Three Cheers for the Orange, White & Blue

April 14, 1990

Anderson & Pop are having a good time at a local bar when a young trooper turns up and gets insulting to Pop -- it turns out to be Robby (Pop's son). The Phu An Board of Inquiry starts. As the situation develops and Beller realizes what his men did -- he had blocked it out -- he kills himself. Zeke and Team Viking go out with Robby on another SOG mission. They end up getting sprayed with Agent Blue. Before the end of the day, Robby ends up killed, leaving Pop to bring his son home in a body bag.

3x20 - The Raid

April 28, 1990

The monsoon seasons starts. Pop goes back to the States for his son's funeral, only to be blamed for the death of his son (by his wife). Goldman is upset over Beller's suicide -- feeling that the ex-friend was only another type of victim of the war. Brewster enlists Goldman for a volunteer mission to rescue MIA/POWs. AN ex-POW (very fragile) comes back to Vietnam to help plan the mission. Doc is still on base but no one will speak to him. Doc goes to talk to Goldman, begging to be part of the rescue mission but gets refused. The mission turns out to be a nightmare. The POWs were moved before the Team got there, Griner is blinded, Pop and McKay are hurt and get shipped to a hospital in Japan, Brewster is hospitalized at China Beach.

3x21 - Payback

Several months later, McKay -- mostly recovered -- is told that he will never fly again. Bitter, he tries to get a civilian job flying but is told that Vietnam vets are too freaky. When he finally gets a job flying air-traffic monitoring, he loses it -- not to a ""flashback"" but to sheer irritation. Ruiz returns home to New York but can't find a job. In Montana, Percell is now a carpenter and is nearly freaked' out by finding a Vietnamese worker on the crew. That same night he runs into a peace-activist at a blind date. Bill Griner returns home to North Carolina -- having been blinded. His parents turn to faith healing and Griner retreats to the ""comfort of the fields and a faithful dog"". Back in Vietnam, Taylor meets a new black soldier who tells him that he came back because the world is nowhere for a ""black"". Doc has been sent to a field hospital but gets in trouble even there because he shows compassion for a dying man.

The first TV series about the Vietnam War, Tour of Duty focuses on a single platoon of young U.S. soldiers during their one-year tour of combat duty in Vietnam during the late 1960s. Season 3 Reloaded Arrives in Modern Warfare® III and Call of Duty®: Warzone™

The vast amount of action brought by the gigantic Season 3 update is set to keep on rolling with the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded content drop, bringing more Multiplayer maps and modes and the introduction of the next story mission, Dark Aether Rift, and more in Modern Warfare Zombies. Adjust your tactics with new items coming to Rebirth Island, including the coveted Specialist Perk Package.

Earn the new BAL-27 Assault Rifle and go classic akimbo and more with new Aftermarket Parts earned via mid-season Weekly Challenges. Plus, Military Appreciation Month kicks off on May 6 as well, so be on the lookout for more details and info on how to help place U.S. and U.K. veterans into high quality jobs.

MODERN WARFARE III OVERVIEW [MWIII]

Content Summary

Introducing Minefield and Escort. Watch your step in Minefield and hack multiple points on the map alongside a MAW in Escort.

Two 6v6 Multiplayer Maps. Head to the wrong part of town in the brand-new Grime map and test your skills on Checkpoint based on the Stronghold area of Rebirth Island.

Power Up in the Arcade Playlist. From unlimited ammo modifiers to ultra-powerful weapon pickups, Arcade transforms the Multiplayer experience into a full-blown power simulation.

New Modes: Minefield, Escort

Watch your step in the new Minefield game mode, adding an explosive new dynamic to a variety of Multiplayer modes. In this variant, players still adhere to each mode’s basic ruleset with an important caveat: Eliminated Operators drop a Proximity Mine where they fall. The mine cannot be picked up and is deadly to the fallen Operator’s team, setting up the potential for some truly explosive combos.

As the eliminations start racking up, the action grows more intense, challenging players to watch their step while pursuing the next target.

In Escort, teams take turns escorting a MAW through the environment with the goal of hacking three points across the map. The MAW only moves forward if an attacking Operator is nearby and will move in reverse if a defending Operator closes the distance.

Matches take place over two rounds, giving each team a turn on attack and defense. The team who hacks the most points or who hacks all three points in the shortest amount of time wins the match.

Two Core 6v6 Maps: Grime, Checkpoint

Grime [6v6]

Brand-New, Core, 6v6, Medium-Sized

Navigate an abandoned corner of London as you weave through Grime’s dockside district, a graffiti-laden hub featuring the remnants of the once lively SKN Comms building beside the Captain’s Dog pub and the now-defunct boat house. Swim through the murky waters of the canal and battle along the docks. Surviving this derelict urban location will require smart use of the map’s chokepoints and a penchant for dirty tactics.

Checkpoint (6v6)

New [Repurposed], Core, 6v6, Medium-Sized

With Rebirth Island out in the wild, there’s a good chance that you’ve already engaged in combat in this area based on the island’s eastern Stronghold POI. Checkpoint keeps the fight focused in and around the main buildings of the military comms outpost in a modified version of the map where the upper walkways and control tower are sealed off, emphasizing combat on the ground. Battle within the armory and garage or take on foes in the forward construction site and rear roundabout.

Boost your powers exponentially with the mid-season Arcade playlist, supporting a variety of maps and modes featuring powerups and special weapon pickups.

Powerups: Eliminated enemies will drop a powerup where they fall, granting one of two temporary abilities on pickup: unlimited ammo or unlimited grenades. Let loose on your foes without mundane concerns like ammo supply and grenade count.

Weapon Pickups: Bring the pain with special weapon pickups scattered throughout the environment, immediately noticeable by their glowing effects and floating animation.

These empowered weapons include the Punch Knife with a dramatically increased lunge distance, the MORS Sniper Rifle and Riveter Shotgun loaded with explosive projectile rounds, and a Minigun that provides a constant Battle Rage effect for improved health regeneration, resistance to Tactical Equipment, and a constant refresh on your Tactical Sprint.

The Vortex Playlist Returns

Redeploy to the otherworldly Vortex Playlist, which goes live again for a limited time in the mid-season. Return, if you dare, to the infected environments of Airborne, Satan’s Quarry, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, and Tetanus. Keep cool and focus on the objective in the Vortex Mosh Pit or risk losing your sanity to these twisted map variants.

New Field Upgrade: Enhanced Vision Goggles

Toggle on the Enhanced Vision Goggles for improved target acquisition in the midst of battle. The goggles feature limited battery, displayed by the Field Upgrade charge which depletes as the gadget is in use.

New Tactical: EMD Mine

Deploy this proximity-triggered mine that sticks to surfaces. Once triggered, the mine fires tracking devices that attach to nearby enemy Operators, revealing their position on the minimap for improved tracking.

MODERN WARFARE ZOMBIES OVERVIEW [MWZ]

CONTENT SUMMARY

Rescue Dr. Jansen . In the next Story Mission, Operators join Ravenov in a rescue mission to retrieve Dr. Ava Jansen after she was lured into a Dark Aether Rift.

Earn New Schematics . Acquire up to three new schematics to aid you in your future deployments to the Exclusion Zone.

Face Warlord Rainmaker. Seek out the new Warlord in their fortress on Rahaa Island. Be prepared for explosive combat against this demolitions expert.

A new anomaly strikes the Exclusion Zone as the third Dark Aether Rift appears. Dr. Jansen has been lured through its portal, and the Operators of Operation Deadbolt must now conduct a rescue mission with Ravenov’s help to get her back before it’s too late. Prepare to face off against a horde of foes in this mid-season Story Mission, including a new Disciple variant that will put your squad’s slaying skills to the test.

Seek out and attune the required relics after completing the Story Mission to re-open the Dark Aether Rift for subsequent runs. Complete the objectives within to acquire new powerful schematics.

Dead Wire Detonators: Electrify your blasts for massive damage using the Dead Wire Detonators, adding the Dead Wire Ammo Mod effect to all of your explosive armaments, including Lethals and Launchers. This is sure to come in handy when facing off against the Dark Aether Rift’s new Disciple variant.

Golden Mask Filter: Forget the constant search for a functioning gas mask when approaching strongholds and other areas where gas threatens to suffocate incoming Operators. Attaching the Golden Mask Filter to a gas mask causes its charge to self-regenerate over time. The mask can still break if its charge is fully used up in one go, though the filter will be reapplied to the next one you find.

Sergeant’s Beret: With the undead roaming around, you’ve got enough to worry about before taking Zakhaev’s Mercs into consideration. Don the Sergeant’s Beret to trick the faction into thinking that you’re one of their own. As a bonus, you’ll gain a Merc Bodyguard who fearlessly follows you into the action.

Challengers of the new Warlord Rainmaker will need to plan their tactics carefully when approaching this artillery and demolitions expert. Find him in his fortress on Rahaa Island in the southeastern Urzikstan Exclusion Zone, where he’s supported by an army that he’s only too willing to expend in pursuit of annihilating Operation Deadbolt.

Expect mortar rounds and RPG fire on approach. Bring reliable transport to breach the fortress combined with long-ranged support to whittle down the enemy forces from afar. Remain cautious after breaching the walls, as the Warlord has set multiple traps to catch unsuspecting Operators. When you get to the Warlord himself, be ready to inflict maximum pain.

CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE OVERVIEW [WZ]

Gear up! Plate up with Heavy Armor, resupply your Plates and Ammo with the Utility Box, and ready up for the return of the Weapon Trade Station: Trade in a weapon, get one back plus some extra loot. A good way to fill your pockets.

Specialist Perk Package: Become a super soldier with this rare item granting your Operator every available Perk!

New Foresight Killstreak: Plan your end game accordingly with the ability to see all future gas circles.

Variable Time of the Day: Experience Rebirth Island in a new way with the chance for variable weather conditions in your deployments.

With occasional aerial bombardments increasing in ferocity across Rebirth Island, expect a change in the weather, a variety of additional items, Events, and more Features as you drop in at Mid-Season:

Boost Your Defenses in the New Heavy Armor Public Event

This Public Event arrives in Season 3 Reloaded. A rare occurrence at Infil, this raises the number of armor plates players can carry, buffing the total number of health points from 150 to 200 for the whole match. For more information, click here .

Gear Up with the new Utility Box Field Upgrade (Rebirth Island)

The Utility Box combines Ammo and Armor Boxes together allowing Operators to resupply everything ranging from bullets to grenades. Purchase the box at Buy Stations or as a piece of ground loot.

Weapon Trade Station (Rebirth Island)

The Weapon Trade Station returns to help fill your pockets. Trade in your weapon for one of a lower rarity plus some extra loot. Rarity is determined by your weapon’s total attachments and is displayed by its color in the weapon info box, from most common to least common as follows: Gray, Green, Blue, Purple, and Orange. The weapon you trade in returns one of two rarity levels lower (or “more common”).

The extra items that drop may include ammo, cash, and equipment (Tacticals, Lethals, Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, Gas Masks). With some luck, trading in a powerful weapon may even reward the Specialist Perk Package, with even better rewards during a Fire Sale!

Perk Package: Specialist (Rebirth Island)

Become the ultimate Operator if you’re lucky enough to come across the rare Specialist Perk Package. With Specialist activated, your Operator will benefit from ALL available Perks . The complete list of abilities include:

• Perk Slots 1 and 2 (all Perks active):  Battle Hardened, Double Time, E.O.D., Focus, Irradiated, Mechanic, Mountaineer, Scavenger, Shrapnel, Sleight of Hand, Spotter, Strong Arm.
• Perk Slot 3 (all Perks active):  Cold-Blooded, Escapist, Payout, Primed, Quick Fix, Resupply, Stalker, Survivor, Tempered, Tracker.

New Killstreak — Foresight (Rebirth Island)

Perfect your strategy by seeing what’s coming with Foresight, showing you the location of every future gas circle in the match. Find the new Killstreak as a piece of rare loot. Strategize accordingly to make the most out of the intel you’re given, setting up for the win where you know the gas will end up at the match’s end.

And More on the Way

Along with upcoming playlists like Loaded Resurgence (at Mid-Season Launch) and Rebirth Lockdown (later into the Season), keep an eye out for the new Utility Box Field Upgrade, providing ammo, armor plates, and extra equipment to stock up your Operator for the most vicious battles ahead. And beef up through the Heavy Armor Public Event, adding a permanent extra plate slot to all Armor Plate Carriers for the rest of the match.

Something is happening with the Bunkers on Urzikstan, too. Curious squads who explore these areas are apt to discover the rewards within. That isn’t all that’s coming, either, though some [[REDACTED]] surprises are best left to our players to uncover.

CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE MOBILE OVERVIEW [WZM]

Celebrate Golden Week. Celebrate Golden Week with all-new content rooted in Japanese folklore. Collect gold bricks and earn rewards.

The Mid-Season Update Arrives. Following Golden Week, the Season Reloaded mid-season update will go live on mobile, introducing a new limited-time mode, events, and a map feature.

Join the debut of Golden Week, a holiday-centric celebration featuring new content inspired by Japanese folklore. Earn  Event Points by playing through the limited time Golden Plunder playlist, or any playlist you prefer, and then collect your free rewards through the Golden Week Event: Seeing Yokai.

Season Reloaded will go live in  Call of Duty: WZM  following the Golden Week event. Look out for new in-game events every week with a chance   to earn new free rewards alongside Limited Time modes and playlists. New Mode and Map Feature: Massive lightning storms are wreaking havoc over Rebirth Island in the limited-time High Voltage mode. Operators who get struck by lightning will grow more powerful by earning a random Perk. Meanwhile, Viking Runes have been spotted throughout Verdansk. Will you keep them intact or risk destroying them for their rewards?

BAL-27 (Assault Rifle)

“A bullpup prototype weapon designed to increase fire rate over time while the trigger is squeezed. The first 4 shots are slower to fire but highly accurate.”

The top-loading BAL-27 Assault Rifle offers quick reloads and a unique firing mechanism whereby the initial four shots favor accuracy before the weapon kicks into a higher fire rate to finish the job and bring down your target fast. Pump the trigger at greater distances to benefit from the improved accuracy of its first shots or hold down the trigger to spray enemies up close.

The BAL-27 introduces the new Sunset Waves, Simpler Times, Electro Torrent, and Sunny Side Weapon Camos, accessible by completing BAL-27-specific in-game challenges.

‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Canceled After Three Seasons at CBS

“NCIS: Hawai’i” has been canceled at CBS .

The “NCIS” spinoff is currently airing its third season at the broadcast network. The season finale scheduled to air on May 6 will now serve as the series finale.

“NCIS: Hawai’i” was the fourth series in the “NCIS” franchise and is now the third series to end. Both “NCIS: New Orleans” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” ended in the past few years after seven and 14 seasons respectively.

“NCIS: Hawai’i” focused on Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey), described as “the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor. She has thrived and risen through the ranks by equal parts confidence and strategy in a system that has pushed back on her every step of the way. Together with her unwavering team of specialists, they balance duty to family and country while investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the sun-drenched island paradise itself.”

The cast also included Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson, and Kian Talan. “NCIS: Los Angeles” star LL Cool J also made recurring guest star appearances on the show, reprising the role of Sam Hanna, beginning in Season 3.

Matt Bosack, Jan Nash, and Christopher Silber created the series and served as executive producers along with Larry Teng. CBS Studios produced.

Paramount Global’s CEO Bob Bakish is out. The executive who has been a presence at several iterations of the company since 1997 will exit, effective immediately. A triumvirate of division heads — Brian Robbins, George Cheeks and Chris McCarthy — will step in to lead the company for now in a new office of the CEO.

The company said the “Office of the CEO is working with the Board to develop a comprehensive, long-range plan to accelerate growth and develop popular content, materially streamline operations, strengthen the balance sheet, and continue to optimize the streaming strategy. The Board has great confidence in the leaders comprising the Office of the CEO, all of whom are senior creative executives and business leaders with a track record of success running meaningful businesses within  Paramount Global .”

Board chair Shari Redstone said Paramount Global “includes exceptional assets and we believe strongly in the future value creation potential of the Company. I have tremendous confidence in George, Chris and Brian. They have both the ability to develop and execute on a new strategic plan and to work together as true partners. I am extremely excited for what their combined leadership means for Paramount Global and for the opportunities that lie ahead.”

As per the Board of Directors: “The creation of the Office of the CEO will enable the Company to accelerate growth and strengthen operations. We look forward to working with George, Chris and Brian as they execute on key initiatives to enhance performance and value creation at Paramount Global.”

It’s a drama-filled, and fluid, situation as Shari Redstone is in late-stage negotiations to sell her controlling stake in Paramount to David Ellison ’s Skydance Media. Paramount is also set to report earnings. The release on change in management had no mention of that.

At a complicated time in the media industry and an uncertain moment for the company, his departure, which had been confirmed by sources over the weekend, had Paramount executives and staff on edge at events in Washington, D.C . and LA Saturday.  

Deadline hears that Redstone felt Bakish was the right CEO at the right time for a combined company, renamed Paramount Global in 2022. Among other moves, he oversaw the acquisition of Pluto TV, and launched Paramount+. But offers to buy Showtime were rebuffed and the company appeared to bungled a sale of BET as financial pressure kept mounting amid streaming losses and a steady decline in linear television. That said, he worked for Redstone. Bakish opposed the Skydance deal, in opposition to Redstone.

Merger speculation has swirled around Paramount for several years, accelerating last fall — around the same time the board added golden parachute provisions to compensation arrangement for top executives.

Wall Street’s view of Bakish is mixed but he is in step with most Paramount Global investors in opposing a deal with Skydance. Shareholders could not despise it more, at least its initial terms, which Deadline learned have been revised in an updated offer presented on Sunday.

The outline of the initial deal called for Skydance and backers Larry Ellison and Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital to acquire Shari Redstone’s controlling stake in Paramount plus other assets of family holding company National Amusements for about $2 billion. Paramount would then acquire Skydance in an all-stock deal valued at the upper end of a $4-$5 billion range. Skydance presented a revised proposal Sunday that gives a bit more to common shareholder and a big less to Redstone.

A special committee of Paramount’s board of directors is evaluating the deal that would see Jeff Shell, who runs sports media for RedBird, become president under David Ellison as CEO. Skydance plans to keep Paramount public.

Paramount has two classes of stock, something founding families do to maintain control. Redstone owns most of the Class A voting shares in Paramount, but less than 10% of the total equity represented by the more widely held Class B shares. Investors have been furious at the prospect of Redstone cashing out at what appears to be a significant premium, while they can’t. Some have threatened legal action saying even a controlled company has a fiduciary duty to seek the best deal for all shareholders.

Paramount shares are trading at about $12, half of what they were a year ago, eroding shareholder returns but also Redstone’s personal wealth. The Ellison team believes they can boost the shares with a big capital injection and a restructuring, Deadline hears.

The company is in talks with the nation’s second biggest cable provider Charter Communications over a key carriage deal that technically expires tomorrow.

Sony and Apollo are considering a joint bid but have not made a formal offer yet. They would take the company private, buying out all shareholders. Deadline has heard that the partners are debating whether to wait to put in an official bid if the Skydance deal falls through, or go out with one earlier.
