Greek Island Hopping | SemiPrivate with 4* Hotels | 11 Days Tour

Greek Island Hopping | SemiPrivate with 4* Hotels | 11 Days

Greece is a beautiful country with plenty of history. We have a great extra days in Athens visiting most of the historical places. Great shops and foods in trendy Plaka and Monastiraki. The island hopping to Mykonos, Naxos, Paros and Santorini was perfect though the ferry queuing was a challenge but manageable. An extra day in Santorini could have been better as the wooden boat tour time consumed the full day activity. The itinerary description was perfect, guided us through all the way to the last day of the tour. The pick-up and transfers were prompt. Thank you!

Greece during autumn is a delight! The hotels both in Mykonos and Santorini were close to nice places to eat and socialize. The guides were so polite and patient with us asking questions and recommendations. Totally recommend this trip to solo travelers like me. I'm thinking about revising next year. Maybe Crete or Rhodes.

This was our first time doing a tour with TourRader. We had a wonderful experience! The itenery was explained well and the transfers were all very reliable and efficient. Everything we needed was incuded so it made it hassle free for us. Would definitely recommend it to our friends!

Mykonos, Santorini & Athens Experience - Standard Tour

Mykonos, Santorini & Athens Experience - Standard

We had a great time on this tour, benefiting from a good balance of organized and free time that we used to visit some important places that were not included in organized tours (like Fira and Oia in Santorini). All agents that we met on the tour were very kind and informative and from the organizational point of view everything went well. Hotels were good, two of them in line with the "standard" part of the name of the tour, while the beautiful hotel in Mykonos was way above that level. On the negative side the only thing I can mention is the location of the hotels, since they were a bit far from the points of our interest but probably some other travellers who are more interested in beaches than we are would appreciate it more than us. All in all, the Travel Zone did a good job for us.

Mykonos & Santorini Tour - 5 Days - Premium

The tour was well planned and everything went perfectly. There was someone there at each leg of our trip to guide us to our next experience. We were completely in the hands of our tour organizer and they came through magnificently. Our hotel accommodations were the best. We enjoyed the entire experience and did not have to worry about anything.

The island of Crete is a must-visit destination. We enjoyed the variety in the landscape. From the sandy tropical beaches to the misty mountains. The ancient Minoan ruins and the architecture of the small rustic villages are breathtaking. The food also was a daily joy. The trip was quite well organised. 8 days well spent! Migh do something similar in the future hopefully.

Overall the tour was great. Everything was well coordinated for all the transfers and pickups and lodging. You have a contact for each location to help you get settled, options on how to get around and recommendations on how to spend your time.

At Sardinia ZonaBlu Tours we offer our guests an authentic experience visiting sites and people of the bluezone  that are not easy to find on self-driven tours. Away from mass tourism routes you will get access to ancient wisdom and life rhythms that can only be experienced through mingling with the  locals . We want to invite you to not just be a spectator, but to dive into the  experience  where you will make and taste typical Sardinian pasta of the region, visit 5000-year-old  archeological sites  from the Neolithic period, go on an off-road tour with local shepherds, and drink  Cannonau  wine under oak trees in the mountains.

Firsthand Accounts

As longtime new yorkers, we'll never forget september 11, 2001, and the days that followed. we each had different experiences, but together they tell a shared story. here, our guides relate a few of their memories from 9/11..

On September 11, I awoke to a delightful break from the sweltering heat and humidity we had endured all summer long. I was singing at a nursing home, a distance away from the Financial District, and had begun engaging with the residents in the dementia unit when a nurse ran in saying, “A small plane just hit the twin towers!” We ran to the TV and watched in horror, along with 2 billion other people, as the second plane hit. This was no accident. All I could think was “Wow, it’s going to take a long time to repair this damage.” My heart broke in a thousand different ways as I watched what happened over the next hour or so. The Activities Director said I could go home if I wanted to and that the residents on the Dementia Unit would not really know the difference. Those words struck a nerve in me. I wanted to stay. I wanted to have a few more hours in a room full of people who did not know the world just changed.

I was sleeping in on September 11, 2001, and was awakened at around 9:15am by the sound of fire engine sirens- lots of them. I looked out of the apartment window, out into the gorgeous Indian summer day, and saw a stream of firetrucks racing downtown. A big plume of thick smoke was visible in the sky as I looked south from 24th street. Judging by its size, I figured it must have been in a nearby neighborhood.

I went to bed in my Hell’s Kitchen apartment about 6am and didn’t wake up until the phone rang at 11:30am. My wife at the time answered and, from the conversation, I could immediately tell that something terrible had happened, the extent of which I couldn’t fathom until I turned on the TV and witnessed the nightmare that had happened just three miles to the south of me. The World Trade Center had been attacked and was now gone.

Ray our guide gave the day the respect it deserved. He told us what it was like to be a New Yorker not only that day but since. He talked about people who were intimately involved in the day, including his family members. To walk up to the Pools where the towers stood is one thing, but to get the story behind how and what’s there, is so much more

Robert Duncan

His account was informative and emotional but showed the resilience and determination of the New York people. We toured the chapel, the plaza and the memorial itself, which is obviously very emotional. John was able to give us the information that we would most definitely had missed if we hadn’t taken this tour.

Great experience… the tour was a bit surreal and Fred relayed the stories and how the events that day impacted New Yorkers.
