Join us as we take you on a 3-4 hour tour in one of our comfortable tour buses. Enjoy a moose / wildlife tour on the North Country's longest-running tour with experienced wildlife guides that know just where to search and find Moose!
Tickets are $35 per person (all ages).
PLEASE PRINT YOUR TICKETS OR BRING YOUR CELL PHONE / EMAIL E-TICKETS WITH YOU for check in at the Information Booth. We will scan the QR codes provided when you arrive.
Moose Tours meet at the Gorham, NH Town Common info. booth. Please arrive 15 minutes early for a timely departure. There is parking available on Railroad Street.
*Please Note - NH state law requires that children under 7 years of age and are 57 inches tall or shorter must ride in a federally approved car or booster seat. The Gorham Moose Tours do not provide booster seats for children and guests are responsible to supplying their own.
When possible and safe, we allow visitors to disembark the bus and get a closer look at these beautiful animals. Our success rate historically runs in the 93% to 97% and in one tour we were fortunate to see 12 Moose! Our tours run from the end of May until the end of September in order to increase our chances of seeing our wonder friends, the Moose.
Please understand that Moose like all animals can be unpredictable and there is no guarantee of seeing a moose, but we will make every effort to make your trip enjoyable!
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- Tour bus departs at 7pm, please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
- There is on street parking available at the information booth, physical address is 69 Main Street, Gorham NH 03581
- Public restrooms are available at the information booth.
- Drinks and snacks are allowed on the bus: No alcohol please!
- We do require 48 hour cancellation notice, if cancellation is not received 48 hours before scheduled tour or no show your credit card will be charged/refunds will not be given.
- At this time masks are recommended, not required.
- PLEASE PRINT YOUR TICKETS and bring them with you, or, present your e-ticket(s) on your phone at arrival to confirm your reservation.
- Tickets are non transferable.

The Gorham Moose Tours were opened in 2006 and 2022 will be our 17th season! The tours are owned and operated by the Town of Gorham, NH and operated by the Gorham Park & Recreation Department.
We know that seeing your first moose can be exciting experience, but we also understand the dangers about being in an area you’re not familiar with after dark. That’s why we recommend letting us do the driving and searching for you!
Our staff at the Information Booth and Moose Tour drivers are well-rounded and knowledgeable about our beautiful area and our favorite furry friends the Moose!
Our success rate for seeing moose runs between 93% - 97%. Remember, moose are wild animals and are unpredictable. We will do everything to ensure you have fun and learn about moose, other wildlife and our historical area.

It is illegal to shine lights in order to spot moose or other animals, but we have permission from the state of NH, so our buses are equipped with spot lights to find and view MOOSE after dark. Night time is the ideal time to view moose, but also the most dangerous as they blend in with their surroundings and dark backgrounds. That’s why we recommend letting us do the driving and searching for you!
When possible and safe, we allow visitors to disembark the bus and get a closer look at these beautiful animals. Our success rate for 2013 was 96% and in one tour we were fortunate to see 23 MOOSE! Our tours run from the end of May until the end of September in order to increase our chances of seeing our wonder friends, the MOOSE.
Please understand that MOOSE like all animals can be unpredictable and there is no guarantee of seeing a moose, but we will make every effort to make your trip enjoyable!

It is illegal to shine lights in order to spot moose or other animals, but Gorham Moose Tours has permission from the state of New Hampshire, so the buses are equipped with spotlights to find and view MOOSE after dark. Night time is the ideal time to view moose, but also the most dangerous as they blend in with their surroundings and dark backgrounds. That’s why we recommend letting the experts do the driving and searching for you!

To make a reservation, please contact our Information Booth at (603) 466-3103. If no one answers, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
The Information Booth is open from Memorial Day weekend to the end of September, Monday - Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.

2024 will be our 26th Season! We have been offering Moose Tours since 1999. On average we go out 120-130 times a year looking for Moose. We have a 90% success rate which means a few trips a year we do not see any. They are still wild animals and therefore are sometimes unpredictable. Nightly Moose Tour Pricing
Tours depart promptly. We recommend arriving early to allow time for purchasing tickets and using our restrooms, as the facilities are few and far between along our tour route. We do make a restroom stop about halfway thru the tour. We suggest bringing a sweater or coat for cooler nighttime temperatures, along with video cameras, binoculars, and cameras. We recommend advance reservations.

Although we only saw 2 moose all night long, our guide Gary was very informative and his love and passion regarding the preservation of New Hampshire wildlife was evident.
