Reservation / Cancellation Policy

Tickets purchased using this system are for a single and specific event. The event will take place on the date, time and at the location indicated on your ticket/boarding pass. What is the cancellation policy? There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for Dinner Cruises. You must call before 5:00 P.M. (Central Time) 1 day prior to your tour date. All Holiday or Specialty cruises have a 72 hour cancellation What if we dont show up for the tour? No shows will be charged with the card on file. We have limited seats and if you decide not to go it is not fair to us to have to refund your money.

““Wonderful Cruise”” Review of SunQuest Cruises

My husband and I really enjoyed the dinner cruise. The food was very good, he had steak and I had shrimp and grits. The cheesecake for dessert was amazing. The trip was around 3 1/2 hours. Food, service and the music were all great.

Elegant....Nice getaway for couples...food was tasty.. there is an open bar... also if its a special occasion order the roses for the lady!

Very disappointed. As compared to other dining and dancing cruises we have been on this one missed the mark. Although food was excellent, music was on first floor and very hard to hear on second deck. There was no room for dancing. We were invited to go downstairs for music but no where to sit and very small dance floor. At a minimal cost of $85 per person we expected so much more. We have been on dinner cruises in NYC, Lake Tahoe and New Orleans. This one did not measure up. Sorry.

Thank you for noting how wonderful your dining experience was! As you know, we're still implementing safety measures aboard the yacht to include forgoing cruise-style seating (sitting with other parties and guests.) Because of this, the dance floor immediately in front our live entertainment has been limited. However, you can hear the entertainment on all three levels of the yacht, including the open-air Sky Deck. We're encouraging guests to use the Sky Deck as an additional dancefloor at this time to maximize social distancing. Our entertainment makes this announcement before each cruise. It's disappointing to receive a 2-star review, especially since you noted that the dining experience was excellent. If you choose to join us again, we encourage you to request a seat near the live entertainment and we'd be happy to arrange that for you.

This was such a delightful evening! From cruising, to live music with a dance floor, to an excellent gourmet dinner, with a staff that has an eye for detail & desire to please. This was the first year that we had our annual banquet for Kelly Plantation Fishing Club aboard the Solaris .Had 45 people in this party. We had entire boat for this private party. All food came out hot & fresh ! They have an excellent Chef aboard. Gourmet Dining experience. Our club will be back!!!!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a hostess who was handling reservations and we were escorted to our table. Our waiter, who was obviously new to serving fumbled through our drink order and was unable to answer basic questions about the appetizer menu. (Side note - a few tables ordered champagne and the people at the tables had to open their own and even guide the server how to open and pour.) The mixed drinks were your basic tourist trap mixes. Our appetizer was held up but we were joyously advised by our server upon its arrival - “at least you know it’s fresh!” Our salads arrived - if you can call a palm size serving of lettuce and about 10ccs of ranch dressing sprinkled with carrot shavings a salad. Next, the salty herb crust on the bread made it almost inedible and the dipping oil was awful. Remember the hostess I mentioned- well she now changed hats and became the onboard entertainment. The sing-a-long with a drum machine and the humming of her husband was painful. To be honest, I’ve seen better performances on karaoke night in dive bars. To our surprise there was also a wedding party on board. We were encouraged to visit the upper decks while waiting on the main course. How awkward and uncomfortable to have to walk through a wedding on the second level to make your way to those decks. It felt intrusive and inconsiderate to walk through someone’s private event. After many “dinner is being served soon” announcements our main course arrived. The shrimp was over seasoned, the crab meat was straight out of a can and bland, and the steak was barely cooked. The vegetables were rock hard! Raw brussel sprouts and a piece of raw carrot accompanied my 2 slivers of onion and pepper. The only saving grace on the plate was the mashed potatoes which were loaded with pepper but at least tolerable. The “performers” continued their desecration of popular music and then took a break Music was then played on the onboard speaker system. There were families with children and we were shocked to hear some of the music choices given the ages of the children and the inappropriate language. At this point the tourist trap games continued when our picture that was taken at the onset of the cruise was offered to us for $50! The picture quality was so terrible we struggled to see ourselves in the picture - the color was so bad that our bodies faded into the white background of the boat. At this point - the Sara Lee boxed cheesecake was served. It was actually the best course of the meal. Did I mention - this was a “sunset cruise?” The cruise started AFTER the sun went down??? There are so many things wrong with this cruise! Save your money and save yourself from being trapped inside this bad ride for over 3 hours with no way to make it stop!

We're sorry to hear that you did not receive the typical service that we are known for. Our management is looking into the issues that you mentioned. We would like to clarify a few other issues. Our souvenir photos are $15 and $10 for reprints. We only use fresh ingredients onboard and we prepare your meal fresh onboard each night. In the fall months, the sun does start to set earlier. On weekend dates, our evening cruises are Public Dinner Cruises. Only cruises labeled "Public Sunset Dinner Cruises" are scheduled around the sunset.
