“RSVP Redux Tour 💌 the tour that never was, gets a 2024 redux. playing the fan club shows last year made me realize how much I missed the intimate venues and having fun dusting off some deep cuts. In February 2020, Maren Morris announced RSVP: The Tour , a trek that was supposed to take the country singer-songwriter across North America later that year. As happened with nearly everything, the tour was canceled due to the pandemic . Years later, Morris is trying again with the RSVP Redux Tour. The new tour will begin in May and stretch into the summer. See Morris’ tour dates below.

Before officially kicking off the RSVP Redux Tour, Morris and Joy Oladokun will play a benefit show in Nashville. Proceeds from the concert will go toward rebuilding North Carolina’s Camp Wayfarer , which recently suffered fire damage .

Betty Who will also open Morris’ dates in Bend, Oregon, and Morrison, Colorado. See Maren Morris’ 2024 tour dates below.

Tickets for the new dates (bolded below) will first be available through a Live Nation pre-sale kicking off on Wednesday, April 24th (use access code RIFF ) ahead of the general on-sale scheduled for Friday, April 26th via Ticketmaster .

Fans can look for deals or get tickets for sold-out shows via StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.

Morris’ last album was 2022’s Humble Quest , but she released an EP last year titled The Bridge where she sought to leave the toxic culture of country music. This month, Morris sang alongside Allison Russell, Brittany Howard, Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris, Brittney Spencer, Amanda Shires, and many others for “Tennessee Rise,” a song inspired by movements for social justice and equality for Tennessee Senate candidate Gloria Johnson.

Revisit our 2022 interview with Morris , where she dug deep into Humble Quest and how she keeps honesty at the forefront of her songwriting.

Set List: Maren Morris’ RSVP Redux Tour

The title of Maren Morris’ RSVP Redux Tour nods to the 2020 tour she had to cancel in the pandemic (“the tour that never was,” she wrote wistfully on social media). The 2024 version will take cues from her recent fan club shows and keep things intimate: deeper cuts, more conversation and spontaneity. Fans will be able to dictate the set list each night by voting on her website. “I want to gauge the vibe each night,” she told Apple Music, explaining that the set list will change from city to city. “One place will have a completely different energy to another, and I love this being a fan-led tour because they’re really taking the mic.” She isn’t totally relinquishing control, though, hinting she has some surprises in store. “I always love singing ‘Rich’ with the crowd, but I also have some tricks up my sleeve that the fans aren’t ready for,” she says. This playlist is a loose assembly of the songs Morris is expected to draw from. Explore it now and put yourself in the crowd.

Wednesday 15th November. Shepherds Bush Empire, London. Maren Morris. It’s a crisp winter evening in London Town as we look forward to another country night out with a super talented female. It’s somewhat ironic at a time when there is so much great new female country talent like Maren, Margo Price, Ashley Monroe, Angaleena Presley, Amanda Shires and Nikki Lane to name just a few that they are all so woefully recognised within the Nashville country establishment. Their loss is our gain especially as we can still see these great singer songwriters in relatively small venues.

Tonight, it’s Maren Morris, Texas born and once a jobbing songwriter in Nashville but now moving front and centre singing her own material. She’s over here promoting her debut album ‘Hero’ in her largest headline show to date.

The first thing that strikes you about Maren is that she’s tiny. The second thing is that voice. How someone so small can generate something so powerful is incredible. It’s a hair standing, spine tingling force of nature.

It’s a strong start with ‘Sugar’, ‘Just another thing’ and ‘How it’s done’ and then we get a great version of the John Prine classic ‘Angel from Montgomery’. I may have been one of the few that knew the song but hopefully some of the younger members of the audience can check him out. The next sixty minutes fly by as we are treated to most of the new album, a new one, a very old one and even a Beyoncé cover to boot.

The show builds to a crescendo with ’80 Mercedes’, ‘Rich’ and ‘My church’ and it’s been some time since I heard such a loud crowd singing it all back.

A wonderful night ending on a thoughtful note with the passionate letter ‘Dear Hate’ in memory to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

A star very much on the rise for the wonderful Maren Morris.

Keep on country rockin’ y’all

I had a blast! Casideepope has a killer voice and two really fun songs. Maren was a freaking goddess and knew how to run the show. Even the guitarists were fun to watch and into it. Loved the show but wished more of the crowed would have moved or done anything than standing straight still - my group sang and swayed which was fun! Maren is so good and the show went so well I would see her again. My only complaint is the show started late and on a tuesday annoyed me because i’m a student and had school the next day.

Amazing show.

Raelynn was fabulous and I really enjoyed the lyrics of her songs.

Maren was outstanding and although grander and less personal than when she played the O2 Shepherds Bush, she made sure fans got what they came to see. Great night

Maren Morris:  Humble Quest Tour

Presented By:

the Mann & Live Nation

GRAMMY® award-winning superstar Maren Morris is bringing her  Humble Quest  Tour to TD Pavilion at the Mann on July 14 with Brent Cobb!

Maren began writing the songs on Humble Quest in the beginning of the pandemic as a series of major life changes unfolded—new motherhood, an upended career, the death of beloved friend and collaborator Michael Busbee and more, further compounded by lockdown. She felt control over life quickly slipping until she had an epiphany—she was never in control in the first place. This inspired her to reckon with the concept of humility as she thought about how the goal of appearing humble puts artists, especially women, in a box with unrealistic demands. Humble Quest documents Maren’s journey to redefining humility on her own terms as a grounded state of understanding one’s own truth rather than the capacity to appear authentic to others.  Humble Quest  is out on March 25 via Sony Music Nashville.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com , (800) 982-2787, or the Mann Box Office .   Fast lane and premier parking upgrades are available for this show.

Maren Morris comes out as bisexual months after divorce filing: 'Happy pride'

who is on tour with maren morris

Maren Morris is for the guys and the girls.

"The Bones" singer, who is on her RSVP Redux tour, came out as bisexual on Sunday following a show in Arizona where she waved a rainbow for Pride Month.

"happy to be the B in LGBTQ+," the 34-year-old captioned her post on Instagram. " happy pride 🌈."

Morris' declaration comes after she filed for divorce from her singer-songwriter husband Ryan Hurd, 37, after five years of marriage on Oct. 2, according to documents obtained by  The Nashville Tennessean , part of the USA TODAY Network.

The Grammy-winning country star said during an appearance on " The Howard Stern Show " in December that she’s not looking to date amid her divorce, adding that her music has provided her an emotional outlet.

"I would like this to sort of wrap up," Morris said of her divorce. "I don't have the headspace for that yet. But I'm writing so much right now. That's kind of been my way of dating is just through song."

Morris has long been vocal about her conflict with country music and homophobic rhetoric from her peers.

"I hate feeling like I need to be the hall monitor of treating people like human beings in country music," she told the Los Angeles Times in September 2022 following a a public disagreement with Brittany Aldean  — wife of country singer Jason Aldean — regarding gender-affirming care for children.

Morris added: "It’s exhausting. But there’s a very insidious culture of people feeling very comfortable being transphobic and homophobic and racist, and that they can wrap it in a joke and no one will ever call them out for it."

In September, she told the outlet in another interview that the country music industry is " burning itself down without my help ."

The "Girls" singer also implied that she was leaving the genre, although she clarified on " Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen " in October that she's "leaving behind the sort of toxic parts of it."

The genre-bending artist added: "I want to take the good parts with me."

Maren Morris Comes Out as Bisexual: ‘Happy to Be the B in LGBTQ+’

By Joseph Hudak

Joseph Hudak

Maren Morris told followers on Instagram that she’s bisexual. In a post this weekend following a tour stop in Phoenix, Morris wrote, “Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+.” LGBTQ+ is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer, with the plus sign symbolizing other sexual identities. Morris also wrote “Happy pride” in her post, with an emoji of a rainbow.

The country and pop singer is currently on the road as part of her RSVP Redux Tour and performed at the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix on Saturday. She plays her next show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on Tuesday.

Morris released the EP The Bridge last September, featuring the songs “The Tree” and “Get the Hell Out of Here.” The tracks were seen as the Grammy-winning singer’s goodbye to the mainstream country industry.

“These two songs are incredibly key to my next step because they express a very righteously angry and liberating phase of my life these last couple of years but also how my navigation is finally pointing towards the future, whatever that may be or sound like,” Morris said then in a statement. “Honoring where I’ve been and what I’ve achieved in country music, but also freely moving forward.”

Maren Morris comes out as bisexual in Pride Month post: ‘Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+’

Maren Morris is celebrating Pride Month in a big way.

On June 9, the singer revealed that she is bisexual and shared several photos of herself holding a pride flag to mark the occasion.

"Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+," she wrote on Instagram . "Happy pride 🌈."

The 34-year-old’s followers quickly took to the comments to share their support.

"Crying! So happy for you! Happy Pride, bb! ❤️🌈,” musician Heather Mae wrote.

“Love you so much Maren!!!!!!” singer Scott Hoying commented.

Musician Allison Ponthier penned the following message for Morris: "HAPPY PRIDE!!!!! thanks for being an inspiration and what a special pride this one is 🏳️‍🌈🤍."

Many of Morris' fans flooded the comments section with loving messages.

"Welcome to the fam!" one wrote. Another said, "YES MA’AM!!!!!! Happy Pride divaaaaa!!!!! 🌈❤️."

In October 2023, Morris filed for divorce from her husband of five years, musician Ryan Hurd, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple shares one child, a 4-year-old son named Hayes. The divorce was finalized in January.

While chatting with TODAY’s Willie Geist in 2022, the new mom said she experienced postpartum depression and “a lot of identity crises” after her son was born.

“Not just being a new parent and a new mother and dealing with postpartum depression for the first time, and reeling from that, and trying to like find the forest through the trees. But also just knowing my worth without someone clapping for me,” she said.

In January 2023, Morris commented about the lack of inclusivity in country music.

“Coming from country music and its relationship with LGBTQ+ members, I just want to say I’m sorry,” she said during an appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked.”

“And I love you guys for making me feel like a brave voice in country music. So, I just thank you guys so much for inspiring me.”

While chatting with Ellen DeGeneres in 2021, Morris also spoke about the need for inclusivity in her industry. She specifically shouted out T.J. Osborne of Brothers Osborne, who had come out as gay that year.

“I hope that him having the bravery to even do that has made a few more people that love country music that are gay feel like they have a home there too,” she said. “I’m so proud of him. He was one of my first friends when I moved to Nashville eight years ago. He’s just so talented, so kind. For him to put it all out there is just, I’m not a sliver of that brave so I’m really proud of T.J.”

Morris and The Brothers Osborne collaborated on the song "All My Favorite People" in 2022. "It is who it is and we love who we love," they sing

Though this is the first time “The Middle” singer has said she’s a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Morris has been a staunch advocate for gay rights and inclusion throughout her career — even going so far as to leave country music over discrimination she said she saw from her fellow musicians.

In 2023, she told The Times that she was leaving her original genre because of the industry’s unwillingness to open its doors to people of color and queer people.

“I thought I’d like to burn it to the ground and start over,” she said. “But it’s burning itself down without my help.”

Morris has felt that fire firsthand. When Brittany Aldean wrote on an Instagram makeup transformation video, “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life,” Morris hit back, tweeting , “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Maren Morris is getting the hell out of country music: ‘I’ve said everything I can say’

Morris’ feud with Jason Aldean and his wife over trans rights helped ignite Nashville’s current culture wars. Now, she’s kicking off a new chapter in her career.

Sept. 15, 2023

Her comment was picked up by right-wing media, leading conservative commentator Tucker Carlson to label her a “lunatic country music person” when he did an interview with Aldean. Morris wore the nickname like a badge of honor, selling T-shirts with the phrase to raise funds for transgender organizations, resulting in a donation of more than $100,000 .

“I’ve always been an asker of questions and a status quo challenger just by being a woman,” she told The Times. “It wasn’t really even a choice. I didn’t think of myself as a political artist. I just wrote songs about real life.”

Morris has been on a self-love journey over the last four years, which included becoming a mom in 2020 and getting a divorce from her husband of five years , country singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd.

“I think a lot of identity crises happened there,” she said on “ Today ” in 2022. “Not just being a new parent and a new mother and dealing with postpartum depression for the first time, and reeling from that, and trying to, like, find the forest through the trees. But also just knowing my worth without someone clapping for me.”

Maren Morris just turned that Tucker Carlson insult into $100,000 for trans community

Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson dubbed Maren Morris a ‘lunatic country music person’ after she called out Brittany Aldean for transphobic comments.

Sept. 7, 2022

Plenty of fans were applauding for Morris’ courage Sunday, however, taking to her Instagram comments to express their support for the singer and gratitude for her advocacy.

“From seeing you as a closeted 16 year old on the hero tour to being out and proud at 24 and seeing you doing the same,” one fan commented, including a plethora of heart emojis. “love you endlessly and happy pride!!”

“Couldn’t love you more!!!! Happy Pride my fellow B,” another wrote .

“Thanks for representing!!!” another fan commented . “It’s hard to be the B, and having public representation helps us all. Thank you!!”

Maren Morris & Ryan Hurd Finalize Divorce

Maren has shown support for the LGBTQ+ community for years, and publicly clashed with Brittany Aldean over trans youth in 2022.

At the time, Morris wrote on Instagram Stories, “I’m just so sick of looking at absolute horsesh*t on the Internet and people getting away with it, much less being celebrated for it.”

She went on, “But I would say check on your trans friends. Check on your gay friends. Anyone that is in country music and had to look at that bullsh*t today and feel subhuman. Check on your friends.”

Maren Morris & Cassadee Pope Defend Trans Community Over Brittany Kerr Aldean Video

In September 2023, Maren announced she was leaving country music altogether.

She later told the Popcast podcast, "I couldn't do this circus anymore — feeling like l have to absorb and explain people's bad behaviors and laugh it off. I just couldn't do that after 2020 particularly. I've changed. A lot of things changed about me that year."

Her husband at the time, Ryan Hurd, publicly supported her decision.

He wrote on Instagram, “She deserves to be celebrated, not just tolerated. I love the response from people who don’t just love these two songs, they needed them. I knew it would strike a chord. Most people would just shut up and keep collecting the paycheck, because the wave of vitriol is real and it’s hard. I’m so sick of watching my wife get the s**t kicked out of her by the internet. I’m sick of every talking head having some kind of stupid opinion about what she says.”

Maren Morris is out and proud.

The “Middle” singer, 34, publicly came out as bisexual in a post on social media in honor of Pride Month.

After a sold-out performance in Phoenix on Sunday, Morris rushed to social media to share the news.

“Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+, happy pride 🌈,” she captioned a series of images from her “RSVP Redux” tour shared on Instagram .

Some of the snaps shared with her 3.9 million followers on the platform showed the Grammy winner proudly waving a Pride flag.

In January, Morris finalized her divorce from Ryan Hurd after five years of marriage.

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd.

In court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Bones” singer filed for the dissolution of her marriage on Oct. 2, 2023. She cited “irreconcilable differences” for the split.

A judge has upheld a property settlement agreement and a prenuptial agreement the exes had in place.

Hurd is expected to pay Morris $2,100 in monthly child support for their son, though the couple will share custody of the 4-year-old.

The split appeared to have come abruptly as Morris listed that the date of their separation is the same as the date she filed.

Morris and Hurd began dating in 2015 after being friends for several years. They  got engaged  in 2017 and  tied the knot  less than a year later in 2018.

The musicians  welcomed their first and only child  together, Hayes, in March 2020.

Less than two weeks before filing for divorce from Hurd, Morris announced that she  was quitting country music  due to  how “toxic” the industry had gotten .

The singer said she felt “rightfully cynical” about what the genre has become and could no longer “participate in the really toxic arms” of country music in Nashville.

“I love living in Nashville, I have my family,” she said on the New York Times’ “Popcast” podcast . “There’s a reason why people come there from L.A. and New York to write with us. It’s because we have amazing songwriters there. That’s not gonna change.”
