I think your 2005 is the same as our 2002 where the CJB is under the steering column and the fuel pump relay is soldered to the bottom circuit board of the CJB. The CJB is no longer available new from Ford and any used CJB will just have a used fuel pump relay. There are replacement relays available if you are handy with a soldering iron.

This splits to the PCM and the inertia switch. Out if the inertia switch is wire 787 that is PK/BK pink w/black stripe. This runs all the way to the gas tank fuel pump. The ground is wire #789 and is BN/WH brown w/white stripe. The book shows two connectors between the inertia switch and the gas tank.

6638 posts · Joined 2016. #2 · Feb 20, 2022. IIRC, I believe it's located in the CJB, but it's not a plug & play type of deal. The whole CJB needs to be taken apart and sent away for fixing. Here is a work around that one of our members came up with if you don't want to do that. Failed Fuel pump relay - P0231.
Fuel pump relay is in battery junction box in engine compartment.The pump speed relay isn't readily serviceable as it is in PCM (computer) It depends on the year and engine configuration as to the location of the FP relay. There are multiple variations and you have know specifically what is being worked on.
