Ashok Travels & Tours Inks MoU with BSF to Cater to Their Travel Needs

Ashok Travels & Tours (ATT), the travel subsidiary of India Tourism Development Corporation, New Delhi (ITDC) has signed an agreement with the Border Security Force (BSF), to provide a streamlined travel solution to all BSF executives for their official travel.

The MoU was signed by Ravi Gandhi, IG (ADM) BSF in the presence of officials from both ATT and BSF, the significant initiative was conceived by Pankaj Kumar Singh, DG, BSF. The online ticketing system offered by Ashok Travels & Tours (ATT) includes self-booking features, making it simple and hassle-free for officers to purchase flight tickets.

New Delhi, 30 November, 2021: Ashok Travels and Tours (ATT), the Travel division of India Tourism Development Corporation, New Delhi (ITDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Under the MoU, ATT will provide online travel solution for booking air tickets and travel-related services to CRPF executives during official journeys.

The MoU was signed between Shri. Rajiv Anand, General Manager (ATT) and Shri. M.S. Bhatia, IG (Admin), CRPF in the presence of Sh. S.D. Paul, VP(F&A), ITDC and senior officials from both organizations. Sharing details about the MOU, Rajiv Anand, General Manager (ATT), said, “As travel restrictions are lifted across the country, the tourism and hospitality industry is looking towards a strong comeback. With our expertise in the segment and being one of the largest travel and tour operators in India, we are honored that CRPF has given us an opportunity to provide an essential service to them.”

DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL AIR TICKET BOOKING

ATT has been entrusted with the responsibility of air ticketing for official travel of Government of India Institutions and LTC vide order number No. 31011/5/2014-Estt (A.IV) issued by DoPT on, 21/08/2017. At present, ATT is issuing tickets for official travel of Government departments as well as the personal tickets for LTC travel.

ATT has been servicing various Ministries, Government departments, PSUs, Defence forces, Paramilitary forces etc for many years. Recently, ATT has launched a customised self-booking platform which works as a one stop solution for the client. It has facilitated the Government departments to get the tickets issued on their own with minimal human intervention. At present, this portal and the credentials have been shared with multiple Government organizations.

ATT has the in-house expertise to provide air ticketing solutions for almost all the airlines- Domestic and International. Even though air ticketing services are provided in Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad, ATT is equipped to provide the services to clients Pan India.
