On our Bordeaux Segway Tour, you'll explore the city's historic centre in a unique and fun way. You'll glide past St. Andrew's Cathedral, the Gross Cloche clock, the Porte Cailhau and many other iconic monuments.

Description

At your chosen time, we'll meet at 2 Place de la Ferme Richemont to start our 1-hour segway tour around Bordeaux.

After a short training session, so you can learn how to drive the segways , we'll ride towards the historic quarter's most iconic monuments . We'll first pass under the Grosse Cloche , a large medieval bell tower that has become a symbol of the city.  

Our next stop will be St. Andrew's Cathedral , where we'll admire the remarkable Gothic architecture displayed on its façade. The tour will then continue along the Porte de Dijeau and the Cours L'Intendance . This long avenue leads to the Place de la Comédie , where you'll see the stunning exterior of the Bordeaux National Opéra . 

We'll continue gliding through the city's streets until we reach the Place des Quinconces , from which we'll head to the banks of the Garonne River . In addition, we'll pause at the Place de la Bourse to observe the square reflected in the famous water mirror,  Le miroir d'eau . 

The last stop on our tour will be the symbolic Porte Cailhau , after which we'll return to the starting point.

Enjoy a 2-hour-30-minute Segway tour of Bordeaux: have fun discovering the city's must-see sights and taste fine wines in the wine cellars of Bordeaux!

Using a unique mode of transport you will discover most important sites in the city of Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour you will make your way around the city centre by Segway, stopping to taste some local wine along the way.

The itinerary takes in the must-see sights of Bordeaux such as the Cathedral Saint André, the Grand Theatre, Place de la Comédie and the Porte Cailhau medieval gate. You will also visit the Place des Quinconces, one of the largest public squares in Europe, and travel alongside the Garonne to admire the famous Chaban-Delmas bridge and Pont de Pierre.

During the activity, you will also have the chance to sample Bordeaux's speciality: fine wines! You will take part in wine tastings at 3 different wine cellars: Cousins et Compagnie, Arts et Vins and La Tour des Chartrons.
