TWIN PEAKS BLOG

Documenting my 30-year fascination with David Lynch and Mark Frost's "Twin Peaks" and the 1992 motion picture "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me."

Twin Peaks Film Location – Palmer House in Everett, Washington

Exterior of the Palmer House on a hill

The Palmer House is one of the most iconic locations in  Twin Peaks . Much like the “two Chalfonts” at the Fat Trout Trailer Park , two houses were used – an exterior of one in Monroe, Washington and the interior and exterior of another in Everett, Washington. This article is the first a series examining the important spot that begins with a look at the home’s historic significance.

LOCATION OF THE PALMER HOUSE IN TOWN OF TWIN PEAKS

Twin Peaks Access Guide

According to the “Twin Peaks Access Guide to the Town,” the Palmer family lived at at corner of Frost Avenue and Northwestern Street in Twin Peaks (number 6 on the map above).

WHERE IS THE PALMER HOUSE LOCATED IN EVERETT, WASHINGTON

Google Maps - Palmer House

In reality, the home is located at 708 33rd Street in Everett, Washington. The approximate coordinates are  47°58’25.3″N 122°13’14.4″W .

Setting the Stage - Palmer House in Everett, WA

If you are interested in taking a tour of this location, please check out VisitPalmerHouse.com . Mary Reber (Mrs. Tremond in Twin Peaks Part 18) owns the house and has created a variety of tour packages showcasing this historic Everett, Washington home.

Please remember this is a private residence, so please be respectful if you are in the area. This reminder includes anyone who wants to scream at the house while standing on the street – yes, it happens. Don’t be that person.

HISTORY OF THE PALMER HOUSE IN EVERETT, WASHINGTON

Historylink.org - Rucker Mansion

To understand the history of the Palmer house, we must first look at Rucker Mansion, a grand home located just down the street at 412 Laurel Drive. Historylink.org has a longer article about this stately home so I’ll summarize below.

Built as a wedding gift, Jane Morris Rucker (1830-1907), her sons Wyatt and Bethel, and Bethel’s new wife Ruby Brown Rucker moved into the home in summer 1905. The Rucker family had moved to the area from Ohio about 15 years earlier. At that time, the tree-covered land was sparsely settled. After forming the Everett Land Company, the Ruckers helped develop the city that is Everett.

Historic Everett - View of Rucker Hill

Their family home sits atop the fittingly named Rucker Hill, which has stunning views of the city and bay below. The mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and is privately owned today.

RUCKER HILL NEIGHBORHOOD IN EVERETT, WASHINGTON

The Rucker Hill neighborhood expanded in the 1910s, beginning with a small group of houses constructed along Laurel Drive.

According to the National Park Service , residents included “Everett Land Company officer Schuyler Duryee, Judge Charles Denney, and several other influential businessmen and professionals. The homes they built were large Colonial Revival, Craftsman, and Foursquare structures.”

Everett Public Library

Enter Fred C. Schoch (1877-1928), an Iowa-born baseball player who moved to Washington to play for the University of Washington in Seattle.

According to the Everett Public Library , he played ball between 1901-1903 before an injury forced a career change.

“He played college ball for the 1901 season, and then moved to Everett to join the Everett independent club as a pitcher. Schoch opened the first bowling alley in Everett. In 1902, Schoch played for a Seattle baseball team. Due to arm injuries, he stopped playing in 1903 and became an umpire for the Northwest league, which included clubs in Vancouver, Bellingham, Victoria, Spokane, and Everett.

In 1912, Schoch became an insurance agent for the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. He found great success in the insurance industry, ranking as 55th (of 6,000) most successful salesmen in Washington in 1922.”

Following his success in the insurance game, Schoch built the home we know today as the Palmer house.

Twin Peaks Part 1

Wait, is it really about insurance?

THE HOUSE AT 708 33rd

National Park Service - 708 33rd Street

Construction on Rucker Hill resumed following World War I with new homes “concentrated on the smaller, less scenic lots at the base of the hill.”

The National Park Service states that “Craftsman bungalows were built by members of the professional and managerial classes, and residents of the period included several doctors and attorneys.”

In 1923, real estate developer Charles Spreistersbach built his own English Cottage style house. He was responsible for the construction of several other homes in the district, yet it’s unclear if he built Schoch’s house.

FRED SCHOCH DIES

Headstone for Fred Schoch

Only three short years after moving into 708 33rd, Fred Schoch died at the age of 51.

He is buried at Evergreen Cemetery , which is about 10 minutes from his former home. I wasn’t able locate his cause of death.

Stone pyramid burial chamber for Rucker family

Interestingly, Jane Rucker, the pioneer of Everett who lived down the street from Schoch, is also buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Her sons constructed a pyramid to honor her in 1907 . If I wasn’t planning on having my wife spread my ashes in Joshua Tree, California, I would totally want a pyramid.

PETTERSON FAMILY

It’s unclear who owned the home from 1928-1965. Online records were sparse so I’d have to conduct more research locally. One family, however, lived in the house for about 49 years.

K5Evening - Marilyn Pettersen

Following the Korean War in 1953, Seattle-born Peter Andreas Pettersen married Marilyn Palm. In 1965, they moved into the home at 708 33rd Street and raised a family of five.

Pete was an automobile dealer in downtown Everett until his retirement in the mid 1980’s. On April 22, 2001, Peter passed away at his house at the age of 68.

K5Evening - Marilyn Pettersen

According to her obituary on DignityMemorial.com :

“Marilyn was Miss Everett, Miss USS Boxer, and Queen of Everett’s first Scandinavian Festival. She also repre-sented Everett at many other festivals such as Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival, Marysville Straw-berry Festival and Seafair.

After acquiring her diploma from Everett High School in 1951, she completed her four year nursing degree in just three short years. During her nursing education, she met and married her husband Peter.

She trained, then worked as a nurse at General Hospital; later working at The Everett Clinic as the weekend emergency pediatric nurse, all while raising her five children. Once her children got older, she decided to return to school and further her education. She became a nurse practitioner and saw patients at the Everett Clinic for several years before retiring in the late 80s.”

In 2010, Marilyn spoke on camera about historic homes in the area including hers. She regrets remodeling a bathroom at one point but has a great affection for her home and will probably have to be “carried out of it, feet first” (around 2-minute mark).

KING 5 in Seattle visited Marilyn in 2014 to capture this fantastic interview and tour with her when her house was placed on the market.

WHY WAS THE HOME IN EVERETT, WASHINGTON USED IN TWIN PEAKS?

The Palmer House in Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me

Emily Heffter interviewed  Marilyn on Zillow Blog on in July 2014 where she describes an encounter with a location scout.

“Marilyn Pettersen awoke one morning in 1989 in her Everett, WA home to find an agent for a film company standing at her front door.

‘When I answered the door, she said: ‘Well, I’m from the movie company and working on a movie for ABC TV. They would like to use your home in the movie,” Pettersen recalled. ‘She was a little tiny young gal, and I thought, ‘yeah, and I’m the queen of England.’

Twin Peaks Archive

I’m assuming the “little tiny young gal” was Julie Duvic who was the location liaison for the Pilot Episode in 1989. I don’t believe they visited the Everett home on February 9 though.

The film company told Pettersen they were looking for a home that “looked prosperous, like it could belong to Palmer’s attorney father, and one that could be fixed up to look like his ‘neurotic wife’ lived there, too. ”

Granted, the article also identified Twin Peaks being in Alaska (?!). I’m guessing  Ms. Heffter confused Twin Peaks  with Northern Exposure , a popular CBS show airing around the same time.

MARY REBER – MRS. TREMOND – ARRIVES AT THE PALMER HOUSE

Vice.com - Mary Reber

According to property records, the home was sold on September 15, 2014, only a few short months after it was listed on the market. Its new owner, Mary Reber, had no idea what was on the horizon.

On a sad side note, Marilyn Pettersen passed on October 28 that year, a handful of weeks after selling her beloved home.

The Palmer House in 2014

Season 3 was announced on October 6, 2014. On New Year’s Day 2015, David Lynch and a small location scouting team returned to the Everett home. He remarked upon entering the house he first visited nearly 26 years earlier,  ‘I love this house, they don’t make them like this anymore.”

Mrs. Tremond in Twin Peaks - Part 18

According to a November 2017 article on Hearldnet.com , Lynch recruited the new home owner to be in the new season during a return trip a few months later.

“He said, ‘Have you ever acted?’ Mary explained, ‘No.’ He said, ‘Would you like a small part?’ I said, ‘Absolutely,’”

Mary and Steven in September 2019

Mary is one of the nicest people I met in Washington state during my visits in 2019. I’ll never forget standing outside the front door similar to that now famous scene in Season 3. When she asked if I’d like to step inside, I nearly fainted. But stories from Season 3 are for another time.

PALMER HOUSE EXTERIORS IN EVERETT, WASHINGTON

The Palmer House in August 1996

I first visited the Palmer House in August 1996 after attending the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Festival. My friend Joe and I stumbled upon it while driving throughout Everett .

The Palmer House in Everett, Washington

During that initial visit, we took a couple of photos outside the home and left. We didn’t bother knocking on the front door. Notice the trees along the sidewalk.

The Palmer House in Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me

Those same trees are seen in the feature film shot about five years earlier.

708 33rd Street in Everett, Washington

The house looks nearly the same 28 years after Lynch’s feature film was shot. Those sidewalk trees, however, were removed sometime in 2015-2016.

Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me - The Palmer House

It’s a surreal feeling to see this home in real life, especially after watching  Twin Peaks – Fire Walk With Me countless times since I first fell in love with the show in October 1993.

Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me - The Palmer House

Here’s a better look at those trees along the sidewalk from the film and my visit on September 13, 2019.

Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me - The Palmer House

Lynch is correct – homes like this are a treasure. Thank you to Mary Reber for her hospitality during my visits.

Steven Miller

A "Twin Peaks" fan since October 1993, Steven Miller launched Twin Peaks Blog in February 2018 to document his decades-long fascination with David Lynch and Mark Frost's wonderful and strange show. With his Canon camera in hand, he's visited numerous film locations, attended Twin Peaks events and conducted extensive historical research about this groundbreaking series. Along with fellow Bookhouse Boys, he dreams of creating a complete Twin Peaks Archive of the series and feature film. Steven currently resides in Central Florida.

Dave grohl and taylor swift’s ‘errors tour’ controversy, explained.

Dave Grohl and Taylor Swift both played live in London over the weekend, and Grohl appears to have criticized Swift on stage, sparking backlash from Swift’s dedicated fanbase, the Swifties.

What Did Dave Grohl Say About Taylor Swift?

During the Foo Fighters’ Saturday show at London Stadium, Grohl implied that Taylor Swift, who was playing at Wembley Stadium on the other side of the city, does not play live.

Grohl mentioned Swift’s Eras Tour on stage, and joked, “I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,” seemingly referring to the Swifties reputation of being fiercely defensive of their favorite pop star.

Grohl went on to say, “We like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour.’ We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f**king errors as well. Just a couple.”

Grohl paused, before cheekily concluding, “That’s because we actually play live.”

Online, a video clip of Grohl’s commentary went viral, sparking angry and defensive commentary from Swifties, who expressed disappointment in Grohl.

Some pointed out that Grohl has praised Swift in the past.

‘house of the dragon’ season 2, episode 2 recap and review: ‘i love you brother’, disney forced to reveal unequal pay on star wars show ‘the acolyte’.

Other commentators came to Grohl’s defense, noting that Grohl was likely referring to Swift’s use of backing tracks for her Eras Tour.

Some pointed out that the Foo Fighters singer had good reason to criticize Swift, as Grohl’s 17-year-old daughter, Violet, was cyber-bullied by a horde of Swifties after she posted about Swift’s infamous use of her private jet.

Violet was allegedly sent death threats for daring to criticize the singer — Swift did not speak up or ask her fans to stop the bullying.

Why Is Taylor Swift Criticized For Flying Private Jets?

Swift is far from the only wealthy celebrity with a penchant for flying private (nor is she the worst offender) but her jet use came under scrutiny after her flights were tracked by college student Jack Sweeney, who runs multiple social media accounts monitoring private jet usage.

The flight paths of Swift’s plane were even animated into a video clip to highlight the excessive emissions.

Swift’s legal team responded by threatening Sweeney with a cease-and-desist letter saying Swift would “have no choice but to pursue any and all legal remedies” if Sweeney did not stop his “stalking and harassing behavior.”

A billionaire threatening a college student with legal action clashed against Swift’s relatable “girl next door” persona, and commentators called the pop star out.

Swift’s private jet use has since become something of a meme , with many pointing out that the excessive, casual flights taken by celebrities make a mockery of individual efforts to reduce emissions — what’s a carbon footprint compared to the carbon canyons carved out by the wealthy?

A recent climate change protest from Just Stop Oil targeted a UK airfield full of private planes, spraying them with orange paint; Taylor Swift’s jet was thought to be in the vicinity of the protest, giving the stunt a massive visibility boost.

Did Taylor Swift Respond To Dave Grohl?

Taylor Swift appears to have subtly responded to Dave Grohl’s comments, speaking out on stage at Wembley Stadium.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band — who’s gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight — they deserve this so much,” Swift said.

“And so does every one of my fellow performers,” she added. “And you just gave that to us so generously. We will never forget it.”

The history and beauty of Burghley House

Arguably one of the most fabulous stately homes in the whole of England, this sprawling 470-year-old estate near Stamford in Lincolnshire was originally built to honor Queen Elizabeth I.

Built between 1555 and 1587, Burghley House is a Grade I-listed historical landmark containing more than 100 rooms. But what fascinating tales linger behind its stately walls?

One of three incredible homes

During his life Cecil owned at least three houses, using them to demonstrate his status, wealth and power:  Theobalds in Hertfordshire , Cecil House on the Strand in Westminster and Burghley (pictured), which was essentially his office and where he hoped Elizabeth would visit him.

While prodigy homes like Burghley varied in architectural style, they were largely renaissance-inspired with an emphasis on symmetry and scale, and have been described by architectural historian Sir John Summerson , who coined the term, as “the most daring of all English buildings." Cecil certainly spent a daring amount of money on his properties, changing details of them on the whim of his beloved queen...

<p>For an example of Cecil's eagerness to impress Queen Elizabeth I, we must quickly divert from Burghley and visit his other home of Theobalds (pronounced Tibalds and pictured here in around 1836). Cecil acquired the manor in 1564 and had a house built, which soon received a visit from Elizabeth. She was impressed by the house and its surroundings but during a stay, <a href="http://www.stamfordsightsandsecretstours.com/virtual-tour-william-cecil/tag/the+strand">according to reports</a>, complained that her bedroom was too small.</p> <p>Of course, this led Cecil to embark on a huge programme of building work. Theobalds Palace

For an example of Cecil's eagerness to impress Queen Elizabeth I, we must quickly divert from Burghley and visit his other home of Theobalds (pronounced Tibalds and pictured here in around 1836). Cecil acquired the manor in 1564 and had a house built, which soon received a visit from Elizabeth. She was impressed by the house and its surroundings but during a stay,  according to reports , complained that her bedroom was too small.

Of course, this led Cecil to embark on a huge programme of building work. "Upon fault found with the small measure of her chamber (which was in good measure for me), I was forced to enlarge a room for a larger chamber," he wrote in his diaries.

<p>Cecil was so keen to thank Elizabeth for her favour that the original floorplan for Burghley house was in the shape of an ‘E’ in honour of the queen. But during its ownership by the 9th Earl, under the advisement of famous landscape architect Capability Brown, <a href="https://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=347962&resourceID=19191">the northwest wing was demolished</a> to allow for better views of the surrounding parklands. </p> <p>So, the most important question lies unanswered. After all this effort on Cecil's part, did Queen Elizabeth I make it to Burghley House? And what did she make of it?</p>

<p>In an ironic twist of fate, Elizabeth never managed to visit the completed Burghley House. According to <a href="https://www.britain-magazine.com/news/meet-queen-elizabeth-i-at-burghley-hallsort-of/">some reports</a>, her one planned visit was called off at the last minute because William Cecil’s daughter had smallpox, <a href="https://theviewfromchelsea.com/2021/08/24/burghley-house-and-stamford-short-break/#:~:text=Elizabeth%20I%20rewarded%20William%20Burghley,Chief%20Minister%20to%20his%20titles.">other records</a> say it had spread to the staff too.</p> <p>Nevertheless, Cecil was still a valued member of The Queen's court, <a href="https://www.history.com/news/queen-elizabeth-spy-network-england">he was known as her 'spy-master'</a> keeping an eye on potential trouble-makers. Best Horror Movies of 2024 So Far

2024 has been loaded with horror releases, with scary stories about everything from rampaging spiders to satanic late-night talk shows. This crop is distinctive for its unconventional reworkings of well-worn tropes. There’s a slasher that owes as much to Terrence Malick as to Jason Voorhees; a dystopian-future tale that eschews global destruction to examine the implosion of one family; and two movies about nuns with evil pregnancies. Better yet: Several of these efforts have made waves at the indie box office, illustrating the horror audience’s affinity for going to strange new places.

Some of the year’s biggest titles are to come, from original works (“Trap,” “Longlegs”) to hotly anticipated sequels (“MaXXXine,” “Alien: Romulus”) to bone-chilling indies (“Terrifier 3,” “Oddity”). But the following already stand tall among 2024’s best releases.

Abigail

Universal Pictures

Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have perfected their mix of scares and comedy with “Scream VI” and “Ready or Not,” and “Abigail” is no exception. When a gang of crooks kidnaps a vampire who appears to be a little girl, they’re quickly in over their heads in this gory caper, elevated by inspired performances by Melissa Barrera and Dan Stevens.

The First Omen

THE FIRST OMEN, Nell Tiger Free, 2024. © 20th Century Studios / Courtesy Everett Collection

20th Century Studios

Director Arkasha Stevenson and star Nell Tiger Free make the most of this moody prequel to the nearly 50-year-old franchise. Deft camerawork and creepy sets build a haunting backdrop for Sister Margaret’s investigation into her unwanted conception. And Free’s increasingly feral performance echoes cinematic triumphs like 1981’s “Possession.”

INFESTED - Still 1

The creature feature of the year is this French spider bonanza, in which director and co-writer Sébastien Vanicek brings a tidal wave of lethal arachnids to a run-down apartment building. Audiences will jump, flinch and itch as the body count rises and the spiders run amok across every wall and surface.

Stopmotion

IFC Films / Shudder

Robert Morgan’s dour look at artistic obsession blurs the lines between reality and nightmare as a stop-motion animator (Aisling Franciosi) is freed from her controlling mother but finds untold darkness while fashioning her own story. A punishing mixture of psychological, surreal and body horror, Morgan’s vision is hopeless yet gorgeous.

IMMACULATE, Sydney Sweeney, 2024. © Neon /Courtesy Everett Collection

All hail Sydney Sweeney’s coronation as a scream queen, as she leads this deliciously lurid chronicle of a young nun who finds herself pregnant. Helmed by Michael Mohan, the handsomely shot saga cranks up the creepiness until Andrew Lobel’s script flies into B-movie madness, ratcheting up the gore and giving Sweeney an indelible final shot.

I Saw the TV Glow

I Saw the TV Glow

This touching, surreal drama about lonely teens forever bonded through a cult TV series is equal parts hypnotic and poignant. Writer-director Jane Schoenbrun has created a bold story exploring the dysphoria of the closeted trans experience, where the unease of alienation becomes more disturbing than any monster could be.

Humane

Director Caitlin Cronenberg’s feature debut is set in a future where Earth’s resources are limited and citizens are urged to get euthanized for cash to reduce the population. Michael Sparaga’s funny, fleet script focuses on a rich family that can’t buy its way out of trouble this time. A delightfully nasty indie that examines how badly we treat the ones we love.

The Coffee Table

THE COFFEE TABLE, (aka LA MESITA DEL COMEDOR), David Pareja, 2022. © Cinephobia Releasing / Courtesy Everett Collection

Cinephobia Releasing

Not for the faint of heart, this supremely sinister domestic drama has a hook it’s best not to spoil. Director Caye Casas turns a new father’s purchase of a tacky coffee table into a fable that spins out of control, with a horrific twist of fate so nauseating it will leave viewers drenched in nervous sweat. Go in blind, if you dare.

Late Night With the Devil

LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL, back, from left: Rhys Auteri, Ian Bliss, front, from left: Ingrid Torelli, Laura Gordon, David Dastmalchian, 2023. © IFC Films /Courtesy Everett Collection

David Dastmalchian (“Dune,” “Ant-Man”) is commanding as a second-rate talk show host determined to juice his ratings, so he dreams up a Halloween episode featuring a girl who might be possessed by Satan. The cleverly constructed tale moves in real time and keeps the proceedings erratic right up to an off-the-wall final act.

In a Violent Nature

In a Violent Nature

Director Chris Nash’s innovative take on ’80s slashers is catnip for VHS-era fans. The deliberately paced film follows a supernatural killer named Johnny, with a camera over his shoulder keeping the viewpoint tightly controlled. FACT SHEET: President   Biden Announces New Actions to Keep Families   Together

Since his first day in office, President Biden has called on Congress to secure our border and address our broken immigration system. As Congressional Republicans have continued to put partisan politics ahead of national security – twice voting against the toughest and fairest set of reforms in decades – the President and his Administration have taken actions to secure the border, including:

  • Implementing executive actions to bar migrants who cross our Southern border unlawfully from receiving asylum when encounters are high;
  • Deploying record numbers of law enforcement personnel, infrastructure, and technology to the Southern border;
  • Seizing record amounts of fentanyl at our ports of entry;
  • Revoking the visas of CEOs and government officials outside the U.S. who profit from migrants coming to the U.S. unlawfully; and
  • Expanding efforts to dismantle human smuggling networks and prosecuting individuals who violate immigration laws.

President Biden believes that securing the border is essential. He also believes in expanding lawful pathways and keeping families together, and that immigrants who have been in the United States for decades, paying taxes and contributing to their communities, are part of the social fabric of our country. The Day One immigration reform plan that the President sent to Congress reflects both the need for a secure border and protections for the long-term undocumented. While Congress has failed to act on these reforms, the Biden-Harris Administration has worked to strengthen our lawful immigration system. In addition to vigorously defending the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood arrivals) policy, the Administration has extended Affordable Care Act coverage to DACA recipients and streamlined, expanded, and instituted new reunification programs so that families can stay together while they complete the immigration process.  Still, there is more that we can do to bring peace of mind and stability to Americans living in mixed-status families as well as young people educated in this country, including Dreamers. That is why today, President Biden announced new actions for people who have been here many years to keep American families together and allow more young people to contribute to our economy.   Keeping American Families Together

  • Today, President Biden is announcing that the Department of Homeland Security will take action to ensure that U.S. citizens with noncitizen spouses and children can keep their families together.
  • This new process will help certain noncitizen spouses and children apply for lawful permanent residence – status that they are already eligible for – without leaving the country.
  • These actions will promote family unity and strengthen our economy, providing a significant benefit to the country and helping U.S. citizens and their noncitizen family members stay together.
  • In order to be eligible, noncitizens must – as of June 17, 2024 – have resided in the United States for 10 or more years and be legally married to a U.S. citizen, while satisfying all applicable legal requirements. On average, those who are eligible for this process have resided in the U.S. for 23 years.
  • Those who are approved after DHS’s case-by-case assessment of their application will be afforded a three-year period to apply for permanent residency. They will be allowed to remain with their families in the United States and be eligible for work authorization for up to three years. This will apply to all married couples who are eligible.
  • This action will protect approximately half a million spouses of U.S. citizens, and approximately 50,000 noncitizen children under the age of 21 whose parent is married to a U.S. citizen.

Easing the Visa Process for U.S. College Graduates, Including Dreamers

  • President Obama and then-Vice President Biden established the DACA policy to allow young people who were brought here as children to come out of the shadows and contribute to our country in significant ways. Twelve years later, DACA recipients who started as high school and college students are now building successful careers and establishing families of their own.
  • Today’s announcement will allow individuals, including DACA recipients and other Dreamers, who have earned a degree at an accredited U.S. institution of higher education in the United States, and who have received an offer of employment from a U.S. employer in a field related to their degree, to more quickly receive work visas.
  • Recognizing that it is in our national interest to ensure that individuals who are educated in the U.S. are able to use their skills and education to benefit our country, the Administration is taking action to facilitate the employment visa process for those who have graduated from college and have a high-skilled job offer, including DACA recipients and other Dreamers.
