Comedian Kevin Hart performs onstage.

We’ve got a reality check for Kevin Hart fans:

The popular comedian has just 13 shows remaining on his “Reality Check Tour.”

After starting way back in February 2022, the “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” star is set to wrap up his year-long trek on April 18 in Canada .

“There is nothing better than making people laugh,” Hart said before the tour began. “I’ve been cooking up something special and have thoughts I need to get off my chest.”

And if Hart’s Instagram is any indication, it looks like he’s been having a blast entertaining audiences.

Still, the greatest joy of all might be that tickets are still available for all remaining shows on the “Reality Check Tour.”

Plus, as a cherry on top, some tickets can be scooped up for as low as $63 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.

Not a bad price to see the twice Grammy-nominated comic live.

Want to know if and when he’s coming to a city near you? Then, are you wondering how much tickets might be?

Good. You’re in the right place.

Below, you’ll find all the answers you’re looking for and more.

Kevin Hart 2022-2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all upcoming Kevin Hart “Reality Check Tour” dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available for each show can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure, and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Upcoming Kevin Hart movies

Kevin Hart can’t stop.

On top of his upcoming tour dates, he also has eight (!) movies set for release in the near future.

Here’s what we know about each of them.

“My Own Worst Enemy” tells the story of an agent sent on a dangerous assignment and then receives an assist from an unlikely informant. Tim Story has been tapped to direct.

“The Great Outdoors” will see Hart star in a remake of the 1988 John Candy-Dan Aykroyd comedy where a family on vacation repeatedly gets interrupted by their irritating in-laws. Teena Lewis and Tristan Cantave are set to co-star.

“Ride Along 3” is an extension of the popular Hart-Ice Cube franchise featuring Hart as a well-meaning high school teacher who applies to the police academy to impress the girl of his dreams (Tika Sumpter). There, he meets her tough brother (Ice Cube), who, you guessed it, takes him on a ride along to set him straight. According to Looper , director Tim Story wants to take the ongoing series to another country in a future installment.

“Back On The Strip” has a wild Las Vegas-based plot. Merlin (Spencer Moore II) loses the woman of his dreams, heads to Sin City to pursue magic and is hired to front strip crew, The Chocolate Chips. This one features a handful of comedy ringers alongside Hart, like J.B. Smoove, Tiffany Haddish, Gary Owen, Bill Bellamy and Faizon Love. Wesley Snipes appears too.

“Borderlands,” based on the popular video game, takes place on the desolate, fictional planet Pandora. In this abandoned world, adventurers seek out an elusive artifact. The stacked cast features Cate Blanchett, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gina Gershon and Bobby Lee.

“Uptown Saturday Night” centers around a pair of pal’s night out where they chill at an illegal club, come upon a lost wallet and find a winning lottery ticket. Based on the 1974 classic featuring Sidney Poitier, Flip Wilson, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby and Harry Belafonte. Rick Famuyiwa (“Dope,” “The Chi”) will direct from a script by Kenya Barris (“Blackish,” “Coming 2 America”).

“Lift” follows an unlikely action duo — an expert thief and her ex-boyfriend. Together, they join forces to pocket $100 million in gold on a 777 passenger flight. Rounding out the cast are Sam Worthington, Vincent D’Onofrio, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jean Reno and Burn Gorman. F. Gary Gray (“Friday,” “The Italian Job”) directs.

“Monopoly,” currently in development, finds a boy from the board game’s Baltic Avenue on a journey to make some cold, hard Monopoly cash. Tim Story will direct Hart again in a script by noted sci-fi screenwriter Andrew Niccol (“Truman Show,” “Gattaca”). Here’s hoping the movie, which has yet to enter pre-production, “gets out of jail free.”

A Phone-Free Show

Kevin Hart is partnering with Yondr to make this a phone-free show, as are all shows on his Reality Check tour. By limiting access to mobile phones and devices, the artist and audience can enjoy the show in the moment without distraction.

The use of mobiles phones, tablets, smart watches, cameras and recording devices are not permitted at this event, so we advise leaving these at home where possible.

What is Yondr?

Yondr locks a phone/device within a neoprene pouch, which is released at the touch of an unlocking base. How does it work?

If you have a mobile phone, smart watch or small camera on entry to the venue, you will be given a Yondr pouch to put the item inside and it will lock (make sure it’s turned off or on silent mode). You keep possession of the pouch and on your way out simply visit an unlocking station in the lobby to unlock the pouch and drop it into the collection bins provided.  Phone Use Zones will be available in the venue if you need to use your device.

What do I need to know?

•        It is recommended that you arrive early , as the Yondr bag securement process may result in delays during entry. Doors open from 6pm.

•        Make sure you declare any devices on entry (anyone found using a phone/device during the show will be asked to leave).

•        Only card payments can be made within the venue, as Applepay or similar payment methods will not be available to you without your phone/device. AO Arena is a cashless venue.

•        Phone Use Zones will be available in the venue if you need to use your phone/device.

What will happen if I access my phone during the show?

Anyone found accessing their phone/device outside of designated phone use areas during the show will be asked to leave.

What if there is an emergency evacuation?

Yondr has been incorporated into the venue's security procedures. Follow event stewards’ instructions in the case of an emergency evacuation, but DO NOT wait to unlock your Yondr pouch - evacuate as normal.

The Kevin Hart tour appreciate your co-operation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow all safety guidelines and hygiene protocols. For additional information, see their FAQ page below:

The Morning

A fresh approach to a crisis.

A group of researchers posited another explanation for the youth mental health crisis: too much discussion.

A top-down view of a child’s hands coloring in a “feel wheel.”

By Ellen Barry

She covers mental illness.

For years now, policymakers have sought an explanation for the mental health crisis among young people. Suicide attempts and psychiatric hospitalizations were rising even before the pandemic. Then the rates of anxiety and depression doubled worldwide.

Why is this happening? The social psychologist Jonathan Haidt points to smartphones, and the algorithms that draw kids away from healthy play and into dangerous, addictive thought loops. No, his critics say. The real problem is a grim social landscape of school shootings, poverty and global warming. Or academic pressure. Or insufficient health care.

A group of researchers in Britain now propose another, at least partial, explanation: We talk about mental disorders so much. I cover this notion in a story The Times published today .

This hypothesis is called “prevalence inflation.” It holds that our society has become so saturated with discussion of mental health that young people may interpret mild, transient suffering as symptoms of a medical disorder.

This is a problem, they say, because identifying with a psychiatric diagnosis may not be helpful. Students who self-label as anxious or depressed are more likely than similar students who don’t self-label to view themselves as powerless over the disorder, recent studies have shown. They may respond by avoiding stressful situations like parties or public speaking, which could make their problems worse.

One of the psychologists behind the prevalence inflation theory, Lucy Foulkes of the University of Oxford, traces her skepticism back to 2018, when she began teaching undergraduates. They were “bombarded” with messages warning that they might be in crisis, she said. “It seemed like the more we were trying to raise awareness about it, it wasn’t getting better, and in fact, it only seemed to be getting worse.”

She grew critical of curricula that teach children to recognize and manage their emotions, sometimes referred to as social emotional learning. Schools have introduced an array of programs, teaching children the basics of techniques like mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, which have proved beneficial in adults.

Several recent studies have found lackluster or negative effects for students who received trainings, especially those who started out with more severe symptoms. That evidence has done little to dampen their popularity, Foulkes said.

An urgent need

Many experts in the field of adolescent mental health defend awareness campaigns and school-based trainings. “Especially with teens, we need more universal interventions, not less,” said Zachary Blumkin, a child psychologist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

The main reason, they say, is that traditional, one-on-one therapy and psychiatric care is not easily available. Teenagers in crisis can wait months to see a clinician. They often land in emergency rooms as a last resort.

For that reason, the field has gravitated toward preventive models. These teach all students — not just the troubled ones — to manage distressing emotions. A 2023 meta-analysis of 252 such programs concluded that, generally, children benefit from them. There is also promise in a more tailored approach , one that lets schools focus on kids with the most acute needs.

Some experts also disagree that over-diagnosis is a problem.

Andrew Gerber, a child psychiatrist, says we should think of mental illness as a spectrum: Disorders like anxiety or depression occur in a bell curve distribution, so they’re more like hypertension than appendicitis. And like hypertension, he said, they’re worth treating early in their progression, with medication and therapy. “Anyone who tries to define a sharp line between ‘real’ illness and what is not real, no matter where they put the line, is doomed to get it wrong and do damage in the process,” said Gerber, the president and medical director at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn.

Foulkes disagrees. Even when we have good treatments, we’re bad at identifying whose disorder is likely to deteriorate, she said. And some children struggle because something is wrong at home, like domestic abuse or poverty or bullying. Mindfulness trainings are unlikely to help these kids.

“A lot of the time, what’s causing the problem is not something that’s going to improve with medication or therapy,” she said. “You’re running the risk of just telling people they have a problem without helping alleviate it.”

A generation is growing up fluent in the language of mental health, something that will benefit teens who badly need treatment. But others may apply medical diagnoses to the painful, normal adversity of growing up.

The “prevalence inflation” hypothesis asks us to keep an eye on those excesses. People hurt after breakups and struggle to adjust to new schools; negative feelings aren’t always a sign of mental illness. They can even teach us resilience.

Rates of mental health disorders are rising among American adolescents. Read one 13-year-old’s story .

There aren’t always enough resources to support teenagers’ mental health. As schools search for solutions, some student-led clubs step in .

Are smartphones driving teenagers to depression? It’s complicated , writes David Wallace-Wells in Times Opinion.

ARTS AND IDEAS

The artist Frank Stella, who helped usher in the Minimalist movement of the 1960s, died on Saturday at 87. His career began during the Eisenhower era, when artistic tendencies — much like ideas about gender and sexuality — fell into fixed categories: one was either a figurative artist or an abstract one. Things changed, the critic Deborah Solomon writes, but Stella did not. “He never stopped insisting on the inherent superiority of abstract painting,” she adds. Read her full appraisal of Stella .
