Except for its prime location, you can get better value-for-money somewhere else!”

Location is FANTASTIC with its close proximity to the Eiffel Tower so if you want to catch the tower in its glory at night, you don't have to go far. Aside from that, everything else is really not up to standard for a 5-star hotel. The housekeeping did a poor job at cleaning the room (crumbs were still left on the carpet though the room has been cleaned), left a note to request for a shower cap but didn't get it (maybe the housekeeping staff only understand French). Coffee pods were not replenished daily that we had to buy our own supplies - yes, they don't cost much but this is definitely NOT the kind of service guests expect/want from a 5-star hotel. Slippers were also not replenished daily - i mean, we don't get a cheaper rate with each extra day that we stay there so why should we expect less than what we got on our first day of stay, right? On some days, we were given large bath towels but on other days, the towels were smaller. They really could and SHOULD do better...

Offered us free upgrade with breakfast!! The entire crew is super nice and friendly! Great location at Paris! Walking distance to Eiffel! Le Clef Eiffel: A 5-Star Hotel with a 2-Star Experience I recently stayed at Le Clef Eiffel in Paris with my family of five during June 25th to June 28th. Sadly, our experience at this purported five-star hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. Prepare yourself for the truth before booking! Despite the hotel's cleanliness and friendly desk agents, our arrival was marred by an infuriating delay of over an hour and a half due to a supposed "technical error." This was just the beginning of the endless disappointments that followed. Upon entering our room, we discovered that the air conditioning was completely non-functional. We immediately reported the issue to the front desk, hoping for a swift resolution. However, their response was nothing short of negligent and deceptive. They assured us that a technician would examine the problem while we dined out, only to act clueless when we returned, leaving our children to suffer through a sleepless night in unbearable summer heat. The next day, we raised our concerns again, but were met with excuses and empty promises. They claimed there was no technician on-site and said someone would come the following day. In the meantime, they mentioned providing fans as a temporary solution. However, the fans never arrived, and their failure to proactively offer us an alternate room with functioning air conditioning showed a complete lack of consideration for their guests' comfort. On our final night, a technician finally arrived, but his so-called "fix" was a laughable attempt at resolving the issue. The meager breeze he managed to generate was far from what can be deemed as air conditioning. As a token gesture, they offered to switch rooms for the last eight hours of our stay, but this futile offer did nothing to compensate for the misery we endured for two nights and three days. To add insult to injury, when we approached the front desk seeking assistance, the manager was conveniently absent. We were left with no choice but to send an email expressing our disappointment and requesting a partial refund. Their response was utterly unsatisfactory, merely brushing off our concerns and blaming the issue on structural problems. They offered a future renovation as a feeble excuse, but that does nothing to rectify the dreadful experience we had. Le Clef Eiffel's lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. The fact that they ignored our subsequent plea for resolution only further underscores their unprofessionalism and inability to deliver on their claims of being a high-end establishment. Consider this review a genuine warning to anyone considering Le Clef Eiffel for their stay. Don't be fooled by the superficial aspects of cleanliness and polite staff. The hotel's failure to address the air conditioning issue promptly and their dismissive response to our concerns reveal a complete lack of commitment to guest satisfaction. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential guests to exercise extreme caution when choosing Le Clef Eiffel as their accommodation. Save yourself from the misery, frustration, and disappointment we endured. Buyer beware! Rating: (1 out of 5 stars)

The location is the main attraction here. It is a block away from some of the best Eiffel Tower views imaginable. The staff also does a tremendous job making the experience feel premium. There is only one entrance and exit, so you will always be greeted and wished farewell. There will always be someone at the door to offer you an umbrella on your way our. There will always be staff looking to maintain your room. The only possible knock might be a bit of over-attentiveness, but it is hard to complain about a staff making sure your every need is accounted for. All around great option with rooms definitely feel worth it.

Reception was excellent. We felt welcomed and the check in process was comfortable. We enjoyed the long walk from the train station to our hotel, and the person who checked us in kindly brought us water upon our arrival. The room was cool (which felt amazing on such a hot day) much to our relief, as so many places in Europe are not air conditioned. The linens were not super soft, but the bed was high quality, as were the pillows. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. We couldn't figure out how to open our balcony door.

The most terrible experience!! Avoid this hotel. First off, the hotel is nice and newly renovated however they have staffing issues. No one cleaned our room in two days. In addition, everyone smokes here and they dont even provide a cleaning service or even a candle to remove the smell. There was a leak in the shower, and the room was not clean when we got here. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if your used to 4-5 star bc its sub par. The elevators, and keys do not function. This is the employee who was the rudest!!!!

Not sure why people left not so great reviews for this hotel. We stayed here in July 2017. AC works great! Controls are in the room. We had a superior room with a great view of Eiffel Tower. The room is very spacious ( huge for European standards ) with kitchenette, separated toilet and shower. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast, good service. We liked this place a lot. Very good location, close to a lot of location

La clef is close to the Eiffel Tower. That's about the only thing that went right during our stay. Negative experience would be an understatement. - Towels were dirty (brown stuff on white towel) - first night when we found a maid in the hallway she said we could not exchange towels because cleaning staff was no longer there for the day. - Shower had past guest hair on the wall and ground. - tea time downstairs didn't have cups or any condiments refilled. - the toilet did not flush the toilet paper. They had sanitary bags to put your toilet paper in the trash but did not let us know if we should use those or just flush. - the wall outlet blew out causing my girlfriends straightener to break. - I booked 2 separate reservations with this hotel on accident (3 nights first) (1 night second) for a total of 4 nights and instead of telling me I would need to change my key after day 3 I found that out the hard way as my key was turned off. No problem if the line at the front desk didn't take 20 minutes to complete current check in and get me a new key. -No Bar or restaurant in hotel. -No explanation of amenities of hotel. - major let down in service - overall hotel quality 6/10 - overall staff quality 3/10 Would I recommend or suggest. - NO! Stay somewhere else.

My fiance and I had a great stay to celebrate our engagement. The staff was very polite, didn't bat an eye with my broken French, picked up the conversation right in English, and was always prompt in greeting us. Upon checking in the female attendant set us up with an early check in, which was great because we only had about 2 days to explore Paris, and asked if there was any special occasion for our trip we informed her we were celebrating our engagement. The manager even wrote us a hand written note and dropped off some refreshments which were perfecting for relaxing from a few packed days of sight seeing. She gave a couple recommendation on a few restaurants around the area and helped us get settled in. The next day the gentlemen at the front desk assisted us in printing out our tickets for The Louvre. We felt comfortable our entire stay due to the staffs awesome attention and care. The hotel had a great view of the street below, surprising very little street noise in the hotel room, the gym was great for early morning workout dumbbells, rower, a few weight machines, and cardio equipment, also saw what i believed was a sign for a yoga class as well and personal trainers that are available by appointment. The Hotels location is ideal you are right above the Eiffel tower with honestly the best view point is just a short walk away. You are also in walking distance to all the major attractions. I would highly recommend staying here and if we ever get the chance to stay in Paris again we will be looking up La Clef Tour Eiffel.
