Taylor Swift and Hayley Williams eras tour paramore europe opening act

European Taylor Swift fans won’t have to look closely at the fine print on a grid to figure out who will be opening for her on which nights on the “ Eras Tour ” next year, as American fans did this year. Swift revealed Wednesday that Paramore will be preceding her on stage for her entire European tour.

Additionally, she announced that 14 shows have been added to the lineup, all representing second, third, fourth or even sixth nights in cities that were already on the itinerary for May through August of 2024.

While it’s now known that Paramore will provide direct support for Swift’s entire run in Europe, that still leaves open the question of whether there will be a third artist on the bill in all those venues and, if so, who.

Sabrina Carpenter was recently announced as the opening act for Swift’s shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, which take place Feb. 16 through March 9 of 2024. Carpenter will also be opening for Swift’s Latin American shows in late August through late November of this year.

Swift’s U.S. tour is far from done, not wrapping up till an Aug. 9 finale at the L.A. area’s SoFi Stadium. Abrams, Haim, Gayle, Muna and Owenn are among the opening acts in the coming U.S. dates.

Swift’s new album, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” comes out Thursday night.

Paramore’s Hayley Williams says she’s “so ready” to tour with Taylor Swift, praises ‘The Tortured Poets Department’

The band will hit the road with Swift next month for the European, UK and Ireland leg of the 'Eras Tour'

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has said she is “so ready” for the band’s upcoming support slots with Taylor Swift , while praising the singer’s new album.

  • READ MORE: The NME Big Read –  Paramore: “I hope no young female experiences the shit that I did”

Williams and co. are due to join Swift on the European, UK and Ireland leg of her huge ‘Eras Tour’ , which kicks off next month. They previously opened for the pop star at select North American dates last year.

Yesterday (April 22) Williams took to Instagram Stories to share various albums she had been listening to lately, including Swift’s 11th studio effort ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ .

Writing under the cover artwork for the extended ‘Anthology’ edition of the record , she said : “Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend.”

Williams continued: “Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It’s so impressive to me how specific and colourful Taylor’s words get without ever losing the universal thread.”

The singer concluded by saying she was “so ready to be tour-mates” with Swift once again. You can see a screenshot of the post below.

Williams, whose band were ambassadors for Record Store Day 2024 , also shared some words on albums by the likes of Radiohead , Beyoncé , The Smile and Idles .

The frontwoman first met Swift when they were both up for the Best New Artist award at the Grammys 2008. Last year, the pair collaborated on the song ‘Castles Crumbling’ from ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ .

In December 2023, Williams reflected on how Paramore and Swift were still going strong after breaking through “at the same time” .

“To be able to play with an artist like her for me represents how long we’ve been at this, and how much shit we’ve seen,” she explained. “Now, it’s time to have a fun summer.”

The 2024 UK and Ireland leg of the ‘Eras Tour’ will see Swift and Paramore play eight dates at Wembley Stadium in London this summer.

In other news, Swift has shared the meanings of her lyrics from ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ in a new track-by-track commentary . The pop star also wrote a special ‘From The Desk Of’ letter in celebration of Record Store Day 2024.

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

The tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and extends through Aug. 9, where the singer will wrap with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift still has stops left in Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Santa Clara.

Slipknot Announce Here Comes the Pain Summer Tour

Taylor swift dominates entire top 10 on hot 100. again, billie eilish unveils 'hit me hard and soft' world tour dates.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

The stadium tour was accompanied by a concert film released on New Year’s Eve that year.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Paramore to support Taylor Swift on 2024 UK and European Eras Tour

Taylor Swift says she’s “screaming” having announced that Paramore – and her pal since she was a teenager, Hayley Williams – will be joining her in the UK and Europe on next year’s Eras Tour.

Paramore to support Taylor Swift on 2024 UK and European Eras Tour

Just two days before her collab with Hayley Williams on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) drops, Taylor Swift has confirmed that Paramore will be special guests on next year’s UK and European leg of The Eras Tour.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” the pop megastar has announced. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with Paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

A couple of weeks back, Taylor unveiled the tracklist for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , with Hayley on the song Castles Crumbling, and Fall Out Boy also guesting on Electric Touch.

“Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album,” she said. “They’re so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of Speak Now. I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and can’t wait to unveil it all to you on July 7.”

So… Castles Crumbling live with Taylor and Hayley in 2024?

Hayley Williams is ready to hit the road with longtime pal, Taylor Swift ! The Paramore  frontwoman gushed over Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department , while offering a tease of the band's upcoming Eras Tour run.

The 35-year-old musician took to her Instagram Story on Monday, after enjoying an electric Record Store Day over the weekend, to share a handful of her current favorite albums. Unsurprisingly, Swift's TTPD made the list.

"Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend," Williams wrote. "Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It's so impressive to me how specific and colorful Taylor's words get without ever losing the universal thread. I'm so ready to be tour-mates."

Also receiving honorable mentions from Williams were Beyoncé 's  Cowboy Carter , Brittany Howard's What Now , Rufus Wainwright's Want One , Bee Gees' Main Course , Tierra Whack's World Wide Whack , Radiohead's The Bends , The Smile's Wall of Eyes , Blonde Redhead's Sit Down for Dinner  and Idles' Tangk .

Paramore is set to open for Swift on her Eras Tour when it resumes on May 9 in Paris, France. The band will continue to tour with her through her remaining international tour dates, which includes a whopping eight shows at London's Wembley Stadium .

The dates come less than a year after Paramore's headlining This Is Why tour was derailed due to a lung infection for Williams. At the time, Williams shared with fans that she would be using her downtime to "dive head first into creating some better routines" and getting back into "the creative process."

"For me, when we get into this mode it always feels nice to disappear in a way," she admitted in a post on Discord . "Maybe this time I will be able to find balance between the disappearing and yet not completely shutting out the world. But probably not."

It was last summer that Swift, 34, announced that Williams' band would be joining her on the Eras Tour around the same time she dropped  Speak Now (Taylor's Version) . On the rerecorded full-length, Williams is featured on the from-the-vault track, "Castles Crumbling."

"Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour," Swift shared in July 2023. "And I get to travel the world doing shows with Paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???"

In  a recent interview  with  Jimmy Fallon on  The Tonight Show , Williams spilled details on how she and Swift first became friends back in 2008.

"Me and Taylor met because both of us -- Paramore and Taylor -- were nominated for Best New Artist the same year at the GRAMMYS," she said.

Though the late Amy Winehouse took the trophy that night, Williams and Swift ended up at the same after-party.

"We were at some GRAMMY party -- it was actually Timbaland's GRAMMY party. [It was] huge. I was very nervous," Williams recalled. "But a woman came up to me and she said, 'I'm Taylor Swift's mom and, you know, Taylor doesn't have a lot of friends her age that do music. And I would love to, like, you know, introduce you guys or get your number or whatever.'"

"So Andrea, the legend that she is, she connected us," Williams added, referencing Taylor's mom, Andrea Swift.

Swift's 11th studio album,  The Tortured Poets D epartment , and its lead single, " Fortnight " featuring  Post Malone , were released on Friday to much fanfare.

In terms of traditional album sales,  Billboard  reports that Swift's  TTPD  sold 1.4 million copies --  including CD, vinyl, cassette and digital download versions -- in its first day alone. This surpasses her own biggest sales week, when  1989 (Taylor's Version)  sold 1.359 million copies. All signs indicate that  TTPD  will be making a massive, record-shattering debut when tracking for its first week concludes on Thursday, April 25.

The 31-track collection --  which turned out to be a surprise double album  -- features a hefty helping of  heartbreak songs  following her splits from  Joe Alwyn  and  Matty Healy , as well as a few  sweet love songs  amid her current relationship with  Travis Kelce .

"She has put her heart and soul into the music, just like with everything she does," a source told ET about the album, "and can't wait for her fans to listen to it and to share it with them."

Taylor Swift Calls Touring With Paramore A 'Dream Come True'

By Katrina Nattress

January 22, 2023

paramore on tour with taylor swift

Paramore and Taylor Swift 's music couldn't be more different when their careers started, but as the years progressed both leaned into their love for pop music, and now nearly 20 years after they both came up in the Nashville scene they're finally touring together on Swift's highly anticipated Eras Tour .

“Having Paramore join me on tour is such an honor,” Swift told Billboard . “We came up alongside each other as Nashville teenagers writing our own music, so it feels insanely special to kick off the tour together nearly two decades later. I just remember being constantly floored and inspired by their writing, originality, and artistic integrity.”

“Hayley is such a riveting performer because she’s so multifaceted — bold and playful and ferocious and completely in command," she added. "It’s a dream come true to join forces like this.”

“When we were 19, [Swift] told me — she was a country singer at that point — that she wanted to be like Carole King,” Williams recalled. “And I was like, ‘Whoa, that’s a crazy thing to say,’ you know? Because we were kids. And I’ll be damned, this woman, she’s crossing genres and bleeding over into other aspects of pop culture, and she’s helping to shape it at the very least.” Opening for Swift “is really huge. It’s a big deal that we even got thought of, you know? So I’m stoked. We can’t wait.”

Paramore will be playing support on the tour's opening date, March 18, in Glendale, Arizona.

Paramore to Join Taylor Swift For All 'Eras Tour' European Dates

Hayley Williams also joins Swift on “Castles Crumbling” - featured on Swift’s forthcoming release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on July 7th.

Paramore will  join Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour as the opener for all 48 dates of the 2024 European leg of the tour. The European leg kicks off in Paris on May 9th and wraps in London on August 17th at Wembley Stadium, one of six nights the tour will spend at the legendary venue. Paramore opened for Taylor Swift on the very first two shows of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Glendale, AZ in March of this year.

This announcement comes shortly before the release of the highly anticipated collaboration between lead singer Hayley Williams and Taylor Swift – “Castles Crumbling” - featured on Swift’s forthcoming release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) out July 7th.

Paramore will continue to tour in support of their long awaited return, This Is Why, released earlier this year. The record scored numerous top 10 positions around the world including #1’s in both Australia and the UK and debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. This Is Why has been named one of the best albums of 2023 so far by numerous media outlets including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Stereogum and more.

Starting tomorrow, the band will return for the second leg of their North American 2023 arena tour with support from Foals and The Linda Lindas. Produced by Live Nation, the second half of the tour kicks off at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Thursday, July 6th and wraps on August 2nd in St. Paul, MN.

Fresh off of appearances at Bonnaroo, two sold out nights at Madison Square Garden and a riotous leg one of their tour, it is clear that Paramore has never been better. “Paramore’s music is worthy of our sharpest attention. {Their} live show is unbeatable,” said the Washington Post in a review of Capital One Arena Show.

“Like some otherworldly hybrid of Tina Turner and Iggy Pop, {Williams} has made herself into our century's most thrilling and commanding front person by using the entirety of her body to demarcate the totality of her band’s sound.” Paramore has also recently announced a New Zealand and Australia tour this November with two additional shows announced today. See below for a full list of dates.

A portion of ticket sales for all North American shows will be donated to Support + Feed and REVERB.

Support + Feed takes action for a global shift to an equitable, plant-based food system to combat food insecurity and the climate crisis. Learn more at supportandfeed.org.

Paramore is excited to work with environmental nonprofit REVERB on their 2023 tour to create positive impacts for people and the planet. In addition to partnering on a comprehensive tour sustainability program, the band and REVERB will host an Eco-Village at every show where fans can take action on important environmental and social causes and much more.

Paramore's Hayley Williams Praises Taylor Swift's 'Impressive' New Album: 'So Ready to Be Tour-Mates'

W illiams, whose band Paramore were the Ambassadors for Record Store Day 2024, praised Swift's new album in Instagram Stories Monday, April 22

Hayley Williams has a lot of love for The Tortured Poets Department .

On Monday, April 22, the "Misery Business" singer — whose band Paramore were the Ambassadors for Record Store Day 2024 — shared which artists she was listening to this past weekend, and that included Swift, 34.

Williams, 35, posted to Instagram Stories about how "impressive" she thought Swift's latest album was.

"Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend. Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It's so impressive to me how specific and colorful Taylor's words get without ever losing the universal thread," she captioned the post with an image of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology artwork. "I'm so ready to be tour-mates."

Additionally Williams shared that she was listening to Beyoncé , Brittany Howard, Rufus Wainwright, Bee Gees, Tierra Whack, Radiohead, The Smile, Blonde Redhead and Idles, as well.

Williams and Swift initially met when they were both up for the best new artist Grammy in 2008.

“Not long after we became friends, she knew I felt awkward going to my ex’s wedding, so she tagged along with me, made it fun, and then we ditched the reception to go to the Cheesecake Factory,” the "Hard Times" performer recalled in PEOPLE's December cover story .

Swift has remained a loyal pal to this day.

“She recently called when I was going through a rough time, just to listen and crack jokes and give me solid advice that of course sounded like perfectly formed lyrics," said Williams, who added: "She's funny as s--- and so fun."

Williams also learned that Paramore had won its first Grammy for "Ain't It Fun" from the pop megastar, per an interview with Rolling Stone .

"I was in Europe when I found out that we got nominated — could not believe it, had not sought to worry about whether we wouldn't be nominated, or we would be," the alt-pop artist said. "And then when we won it, we didn't go. I got a text from Taylor Swift and [band mate] Taylor York in the same 30 seconds. Taylor, she just texted me a bunch of capital letters, like '[Random noises] so excited for you!' I was so shocked."

The alternative band will hit the road this summer — three months after the February release of their sixth studio album

paramore on tour with taylor swift

If you don't have tickets to Paramore 's ongoing fall tour, don't fret — the band is embarking on a massive arena tour in summer 2023.

Currently on a limited U.S. theater tour, the band — made up of vocalist Hayley Williams , guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro — announced on Friday that they will be taking off on another, much more expansive tour of the U.S. in the new year following a string of international dates.

Kicking off about three months after the February release of Paramore's sixth studio album, This Is Why , the tour will begin in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 23 and wrap up in St. Paul, Minnesota on Aug. 2.

Featuring support from British bands Bloc Party and Foals, as well as the Los Angeles-based Linda Lindas , Paramore will play shows across 26 cities throughout North America.

Fans can register for Ticketmaster's Verified Fan presale through Nov. 7 at 11:59 p.m. ET, with tickets becoming available for American Express cardmembers on Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. local time and all other registered customers the following day at 10 a.m. local time.

General on sale tickets then become available on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. local time. All ticketing information is available at Paramore's Ticketmaster page .

On Thursday, Madison Square Garden, Kia Forum and some of the other iconic venues the tour will hit cheekily hinted at the tour on Twitter and Instagram . They shared photos of Paramore's "This Is Why" album art on their arenas' outdoor screens, each alongside the cryptic caption "👀."

The tour announcement arrived one day after Paramore's TV debut of the upcoming album's eponymous lead single "This Is Why" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday. Released in September, the single marked the end of the band's five-year-long recording hiatus.

Before kicking off their arena tour, the band, which also just completed appearances at the Austin City Limits and When We Were Young festivals, will be joining Taylor Swift 's upcoming Eras Tour for one date. The band will be the opening act for its first night in Glendale, Arizona on March 18 along with singer-songwriter Gayle .

Since the announcement of her new 11th studio album ( which dropped April 19 ), fans have been anxiously waiting to see if her worldwide, career-spanning tour would get a shakeup to accommodate the new music. While Swift is remaining mum, and a rep for the singer didn't respond to an EW request for comment, a new YouTube Short posted to Swift's account seems to provide all the clarity Swifties needed that a change is imminent.

In the video, which is part of Swift's #ForAFortnightChallenge tied to the album's first single, "Fortnight," the 14-time Grammy winner can be seen rehearsing for tour with her backup dancers. While some shots are obviously from the Folklore , Lover , and other existing "eras" of the show, several blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments have never been seen before.

In one, Swift, clad in workout gear, appears to be wearing the same boots seen in her "Fortnight" video . She's holding on to a banister that looks like it has the Tortured Poets Department emblem on it — the "P" and the "D" can just be made out.

taylor swift/youtube

Although the video is in grayscale, and therefore exact colors are impossible to identify for sure, several shots feature what looks like a new white-ish mic, which has never been seen before. The new era's color, of course, is also an off-white hue.

Perhaps the most interesting moment of the new clip, though, is one that features what looks like new choreography and costumes. Swift's backup dancers can be seen in top hats and dancing with canes, while she sings in the front middle of the group — choreography and props which have so far not been featured in the concert.

This is all speculative until the tour resumes in Paris, France, on May 9, of course, but if Swift is adding a whole new era, it would mark the first major change to the setlist since Swift began performing it last March.

Throughout the tour, she's made little swaps here or there: She added performances with some of the artists who opened for her like HAIM or Phoebe Bridgers, and she added "Long Live" to the Speak Now section when that re-recorded album released during tour. She also swapped out "Invisible String" for the "The 1" in the Folklore section after news of her split with Joe Alwyn broke.

But, nothing has majorly been added or subtracted from the show, which is already a whopping three-and-a-half hours long. Now, if anyone could pull off adding more runtime to Eras, it's the "Mastermind" herself, but it's more likely that some songs will be getting cut to make room for new material. Fans have theorized that the tracks that didn't make it into the VOD rental of the Eras Tour concert film — "The Archer," "Wildest Dreams," "Cardigan," and "Long Live" — could be first on the chopping block, but we'll just have to wait and see what Ms. Swift has up her cryptic and Machiavellian sleeve.

Paramore set the stage for Taylor Swift’s performance on the opening night of the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium, Glendale on Friday Night. The rock band performed several hits like Decode and This is Why.

During the rock band’s set, lead vocalist Hayley Williams recalled the first time she reached out to Taylor Swift. The singer said that she was the superstar perform at the Grammy Awards when she was a teenager.

During Paramore’s set, lead vocalist Hayley Williams recalled the first time she reached out to Taylor. In a clip shared by Variety, Williams said she first saw Taylor perform at the Grammy Awards when she was still a teenager.

“I was like 18 at the time, and it felt kind of lonely, to be that young and to be doing things, like the Grammys and all that.,” Williams said.

“And I met someone as I was leaving. And she said to me, ‘My daughter, she just played, she’s just getting started and she doesn’t really know anybody in the business. And I just really want her to be around people her age that are doing the same thing, and so I got her number.”

Williams was referring to Taylor’s mother Andrea. The Paramore singer further added that she then decided to reach out to Swift.

“Because I’m like, the shyest freak when I’m not on stage, I did not text [Taylor] until a certain VMAs scandal,” Williams said “That was the first time that I felt like I have to reach out, because this person is really cool and did not deserve that. So around that time is when I got to know Taylor Swift. And the guys and I have been able to watch her as we’ve been playing shows and touring the world, we’ve got to watch her trajectory. And I’m sure you know this, because you’re here tonight, so you obviously get it, but there are moments when I talk to people and I’m like ‘I am not sure that you get how f*cking incredible this artist is.’”

Here is Paramore’s complete set list:

1. This Is Why

2. Hard Times

3. That’s What You Get

5. The Only Exception

6. Still Into You

7. Rose-Colored Boy

8. Misery Business

9. Ain’t It Fun

Taylor Swift stares into the camera from the stage.

There’s no time like the present, Swifties.

On April 19, Taylor Swift dropped her 11th studio album “The Tortured Poet’s Department.” As expected, the 34-year-old singer-songwriter became the internet’s main character.

Some raved about the sprawling, ambitious double album; others criticized the record for its length, subject matter, and lyrics.

All we know is that in the seven days that have passed, ticket prices to see Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ live have plummeted for most of her concerts in Europe.

Based on our findings, most shows have seats available that are significantly cheaper than they cost just a week ago.

In fact, some tickets are over $1,000 less than they were on April 19 already.

While it’s not the case for her U.S. and Canada gigs — where prices have mostly stayed flat or slowly risen — we’d argue it might be in your best interest to book tickets to an overseas ‘Eras Tour’ concert given this cooldown.

Want to find out how much tickets cost for ‘Eras Tour’ concerts versus what they were going for on April 19?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about Taylor Swift’s 2024 tour below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

A complete calendar including all upcoming tour dates, venues, and the best ticket prices for all concerts versus what they cost on April 19 can be found here.

*The lower ticket price is in bold.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Taylor Swift set list

While Swift is known for dropping a surprise song or two into her shows, the tracks stay surprisingly consistent for most gigs (although that will likely change in the wake of “TTPD’s” release).

Taylor Swift ‘Eras Tour’ news

Our team has been following the ‘Eras Tour’ closely over the past year.

Over the past few months, we spoke to a Swiftie who  shared some helpful tips  about seeing Taylor live and  came up with a list of all the most exciting fan trends .

Taylor Swift new music

As noted above, Swift’s  “The Tortured Poets Department”  was released at midnight (and subsequently at 2 a.m.) on Friday, April 19.

While every listener will likely come away with their own favorites, we particularly enjoyed the sleek, synth-y “Fortnight,” icy “So Long, London,” anthemic “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” bombastic slow build of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” and gorgeously arranged “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus.”

If you want to give it a spin — if you haven’t already, that is — you can find “The Tortured Poets Department”  here .

Taylor Swift opening acts

Taylor only has two opening acts lined up for the ‘Eras Tour’ this year.

Here’s what you need to know about her well-established special guests.

Paramore  will play alongside Swift after mounting a massive 2023 tour of their own. The group, fronted by lead singer Hayley Williams, reunited in 2022 after a five-year hiatus. For fans who want to check out their latest, you can listen to “This Is Why,” their sixth studio album, which dropped in February 2023.

Gracie Abrams , the daughter of film director JJ Abrams and producer Katie McGrath, is a star in her own right. Her song “I miss you, I’m sorry” has upwards of 100 million streams on Spotify, she opened for Olivia Rodrigo on the 2022 “Sour Tour” and headlined her own tour last spring as well.

Huge stars on tour in 2024

Although it will cost an arm and a leg (sometimes more!) to see Swift live this year, there are much more affordable concerts you can attend this year.

Here are just five of our favorite artists you won’t want to miss live.

•  Olivia Rodrigo

•  Kacey Musgraves

•  Pink

•  Chappell Roan

•  Alanis Morissette

Taylor Swift

Leading up to the release of Taylor Swift ‘s The Tortured Poets Department , one question lingered in the backs of Swiftie minds for months: How would the new album affect the already three-hour-plus setlist of the pop star’s ongoing global Eras Tour?

When the record finally dropped April 19, bringing with it not just 16 pre-announced tracks, but 15 surprise bonus songs as well, their concerns were only exacerbated. How could Swift possibly slim down her pre- Tortured Poets setlist to fit any new material once she hit the road again? Where would she even begin selecting just a handful of the 31 songs on TTPD to include? Would she even bother trying? (Based on a video the singer posted of recent rehearsals for her next run of shows, which kicks off May 9 in Paris, the answer to that last question is most likely a “Yes.”)

It’s no small task, especially given that no matter what the “Anti-Hero” singer cuts or adds, some fans are bound to be upset when their favorites inevitably don’t make the final listing. Even so, Billboard has risen to the challenge, selecting the best possible collection of Tortured Poets tracks to represent Swift’s newest era while trimming the fat of past eras for an updated, ultimate dream Eras Tour setlist.

Some songs were hard to say good-bye to (sorry, “Mastermind”), and others were truly painful to not extend an invitation (don’t hate us, “Guilty as Sin?”). But in service of a well-rounded, comprehensive Eras experience, difficult decisions had to be made. Keep reading to see how Swift should move forward with her trek, Tortured Poets and all — plus, an idea on how her debut album Taylor Swift can finally get its flowers — below.

ACT I: 'Lover'

  • “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince”
  • “Cruel Summer”
  • “The Man”
  • “You Need to Calm Down”
  • “Lover”

CUT: “The Archer”

Note: Swift could also probably benefit from shortening her meandering pre-“The Man” monologue in Act I to save room for more songs later on.

ACT II: 'Fearless'

  • “Fearless”
  • “You Belong With Me”
  • “Love Story”

Note: At three songs, the Fearless era is already the perfect length, holistically comprised of the album’s title track and its two breakthrough hits, which made Swift a global star. No room for cuts here.

ACT III: 'Evermore'

  • “‘Tis the Damn Season”
  • “Willow”
  • “Champagne Problems”
  • “Tolerate It”

CUT: “Marjorie”

Note: Swift definitely deserves to drink in the applause for a moment after her magnificent piano performance of “Champagne Problems,” but at past Eras shows, she’s allowed the ovations to last for upwards of eight minutes . To save room for more songs, she may want to keep things moving at future stops.

ACT IV: 'Reputation'

  • “…Ready For It?”
  • “Delicate”
  • “Don’t Blame Me”
  • “Look What You Made Me Do”

Note: If you’ve been to an Eras show, you know: There’s no messing with the Reputation set. The already ear-splitting crowd somehow gets even louder as soon as this first notes of “Ready For It” blast through the speakers, and the stadium stays at peak volume throughout the traditional “1, 2, 3, Let’s go b–ch” chant during “Delicate” and the seamless transition between “Don’t Blame Me” and “Look What You Made Me Do.” No cuts.

ACT V: 'Speak Now'

  • “Enchanted”
  • “Long Live”

Note: Justice for Speak Now . Swift’s third album deserves a proper showcase each night, so we sincerely hope that the pop star doesn’t scrap “Long Live” — which she only added to the setlist four months into the Eras Tour’s first leg — to make room for TTPD.

ACT VI: 'Red'

  • “22”
  • “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”
  • “I Knew You Were Trouble”
  • “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”

Note: It may seem like an easy time-saver to simply swap out the ten-minute version of “All Too Well” for Swift’s original five-minute version, but doing so would be robbing Swifties of the best ten-minute segment in the entire show. We simply won’t hear of it. That song aside, the other three hits on this mini-set — similar to the Fearless era — form a perfect bite-sized capsule of the album they represent, leaving no excess behind.

ACT VII: 'Folklore'

  • “Betty”
  • “August”
  • “Illicit Affairs” (Bridge Only)
  • “My Tears Ricochet”
  • “Cardigan”

CUTS: “The 1” / “Invisible String” & “The Last Great American Dynasty”

Note: Sorry, Folklorians: It’ll always have a special place at the heart of the Eras Tour show, but Swift has now released three new albums since her initial alt-folk pivot — hence the harsher cuts here.

ACT VIII: '1989'

  • “Style”
  • “Blank Space”
  • “Shake It Off”
  • “Wildest Dreams”
  • “Bad Blood”

Note: It’s almost impossible to imagine cutting any of the five songs on the 1989 setlist, each of them massive, stadium-rocking hits a full ten years after their original release (three of them peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Wildest Dreams” and “Style” reached Nos. 5 and 6, respectively). A time-saving mashup between two or more of them could, however, be an avenue to explore if needed, with a majority of the tracks boasting similar keys and corresponding musical styles.

INTERLUDE: Surprise Songs

  • Surprise Song No. 1
  • Surprise Song No. 2

Note: It’s safe to assume that the nightly surprise song section will be where Swift makes up for unused Tortured Poets songs, giving fans the chance to hear acoustic versions of the 20+ tracks on her newest album that probably won’t make it onto the regular setlist .

ACT IX: 'Midnights'

  • “Lavender Haze”
  • “Anti-Hero”
  • “Vigilante Shit”
  • “Bejeweled”
  • “Karma”

CUTS: “Midnight Rain” & “Mastermind”

Note: The only non-single to remain safe, “Vigilante Shit” would’ve been next on the chopping block. But honestly — what would the Eras Tour be without Swift’s iconic sultry, Chicago -esque dance break?

ACT X: 'The Tortured Poets Department'

  • “Fortnight”
  • “The Tortured Poets Department”
  • “Down Bad”
  • “So Long, London”
  • “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?”
  • Mashup: “Teardrops on My Guitar” x “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”
  • “But Daddy I Love Him”

Note: As Swift’s newest album, Tortured Poets deserves to be the finale. And while, upon first listen, the record may not seem like it has enough stadium-ready bops to close out the show, the above songs 100% have the potential to be converted into the high-energy moments the Eras Tour commands. Just imagine the theatrical potential of “Who’s Afraid,” the meta-ness of a real-life crowd chanting “More!” during “Broken Heart,” and confetti falling from the sky during the final chorus of “But Daddy…” We picture gothic visuals, writing desks, typewriter props, period costumes and lightning strikes during this section.

Now, about that mashup. It’s absurd that Swift has never included any songs from her 2006 self-titled debut album — aka her first-ever era — on the main Eras Tour setlist. But it’s not too late to rectify that.

Picture this: The lights go down after Swift performs “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” Costumes change, a tiger cage and other circus-themed set pieces are wheeled away. Then, the songwriter — her silhouette barely visible under the dim glow of an aquamarine spotlight — sings a cappella the final chorus of the first song about faking smiles in the face of heartbreak she ever released: “Teardrops on My Guitar.” Emphasis on the lyric, “the only one who’s got enough of me to break my heart.”

After she trails off on the last line — “Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won’t see” — the stadium comes to life once more as the crowd’s multi-color light-up bracelets go haywire, an explosion of sound filling the space. “I can read your mind,” Swift jumps in, surrounded by dancers as the lights suddenly go up, revealing one last fabulous costume. “‘She’s having the time of her life…'”

Once that’s done, she’ll move on to the finale, flipping off the haters, embracing her truest fans and proudly proclaiming her love for the man of her dreams in one fell swoop with “But Daddy I Love Him,” disappearing offstage before concertgoers have even finished singing along. Fin.

Fans theorize that Taylor Swift is changing her Eras Tour setlist to include songs from her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Swift shared a black-and-white video collage of her practicing for the upcoming leg of her tour and added her new single, “Fortnight,” in the background to YouTube Shorts on Thursday.

The Grammy winner, 34, included several snippets of her wearing different athleisure outfits while holding a microphone, singing and dancing on different parts of the stage.

The “Cruel Summer” songstress even featured a snap of her playing her acoustic guitar and sitting at her signature mossy piano.

However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed a few differences in some of the clips from what she’s done in her past shows –– such as her background dancers wearing black top hats and canes.

Swift also appeared to be leaning on a silver pole that seemed to have a white “TTPD” sign hanging on the side of it. Fans additionally pointed out her white guitar and matching microphone.

Swift has not released the setlist for her upcoming shows and she did not share the setlist before she kicked off the tour in Arizona in March 2023.

The “Shake it Off” songstress previously sang 44 songs on every show and swapped out two songs each concert that were acoustic “surprise songs” not included in the same setlist.

After Paris, Swift will hit several European countries, including Sweden, Spain and Portugal, before wrapping up in London in August.

Friendship bracelets fans gave Taylor Swift during Eras Tour on display in Nashville

paramore on tour with taylor swift

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Many of the friendship bracelets given to Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour are on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

"This is a one-of-a-kind, really special celebration of Taylor and the Eras Tour," says Lisa Purcell, the executive vice president of external affairs at the museum. "There are more than a thousand friendship bracelets from Taylor's collection shared by her fans."

Surrounding the three rows of beaded jewelry are posters included in the VIP boxes purchased by fans ahead of the concert.

"Like her, we are so in touch with the fans of the music and the history of the music," Purcell says.

The museum's Taylor Swift Education Center displays different memorabilia from the singer every few months. Swift's team works closely with the museum. The most recent installation includes a BCBG Max Azria silk handkerchief dress from Swift's debut era, complementary bronze boots, the banjo she decorated with permanent marker for her 2012 Grammys performance of "Mean" and a custom-built Koa guitar with her name imprinted on the fingerboard.

Across from the vitrine of Swift artifacts is a printed copy of a Thomas Hart Benton mural called "The Sources of Country Music." The original hangs in the Country Music Hall of Fame Rotunda and depicts the roots of the music genre.

"Taylor has such a neat origin," Purcell says. "And her origin story is tied to country music. She plays many of these instruments. The Taylor Swift Education Center gave us an opportunity to highlight that."

The center opened in 2013 after Swift donated to the museum's capital campaign. The two-story interior houses classrooms, youth art installations, interactive galleries and learning labs.

Outside the education center and in the museum, there are several exhibits with more Swift memorabilia including a guitar of Swarovski crystal rhinestones, a Roberto Cavalli gold-fringe dress worn by the singer on her "Speak Now World Tour," a vintage lace dress and matching skirt from her "Speak Now World Tour" and the "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" portrait from her "I Can See You" music video.

'It feels like a perfect night'

Swift's team kept all the bracelets given to the star during the 83 shows of her massive tour. Many were exchanged during the song "22," when a chosen fan gives Swift a bracelet in exchange for a couture hat.

Swift has 69 shows left in her colossal tour. She heads to Paris, France, on May 9, and fans are curious to see if she will incorporate a new set into her three-plus-hour show for "The Tortured Poets Department."
