Blink-182 is an American pop punk rock band from San Diego, California in 1992. The group has consisted of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker and Scott Raynor. The group has sold over 35 million albums worldwide.

Blink-182 came to prominence in the early 90s punk scene in California where their energetic shows made them a hit with crowds. The group was signed to independent label Cargo Records where they released their debut album “Cheshire Cat”. While the album was not commercially successful, it picked up a lot of buzz and is considered an iconic pop punk album of the time.

The buzz generated by this first album caused a bidding war between multiple mainstream labels and the band eventually signed with MCA. Drummer Scott Raynor’s disagreement with this decision contributed to his drifting from the band and he was eventually fired in 1998 and replaced by Travis Barker.

With the new record label and new line up settled, Blink-182 released “Enema of the State” in 1999 and quickly rose to fame with singles “Adam’s Song”, “All the Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?” all receiving regular airtime on MTV. The album was the band’s most successful release to date and went to number 9 on the US Billboard chart.

The stress of constant touring and promotion as well as differences about where the band should go with their next album boiled to a head and caused the band to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2005. After Travis Barker was involved in a serious plane crash, the group reunited in 2008 and went on to start work on their sixth studio album, “Neighborhoods”, which was released in 2011 and charted at number 2 in the US.

Blink-182 has cited The Ramones, The Cure and The Vandals, amongst others, as influences for their music, but the reality is that Blink-182 are massive influencers and inspirations for musicians all around the world. The band inspired the second wave of pop punk music in the new millennium and also single-handedly bought this music into the mainstream. For this reason, their music will certainly live on for generations.

Live reviews

Well let me start off by saying that this was my first rock concert that I have ever been too. It was amazing, the sound was amazing and they were amazing. I've always liked Blink-182 because they were kind of more on the "nice" side of rock. Not like heavy metal. When they performed in Phoenix, the opening acts were A Day To Remember and All Time low. I am not sure if that is the same for everyone. If you don't like heavy metal than I would suggest skipping the All Time Low act. Also, don't be in a rush to go to there concert because I got there at 6:00, the doors opened at 7:30. They started playing around 9:30. So its okay if you were a little late.

Sexual jokes;

They do make jokes about sex... A lot of jokes about sex and some of them are worse than others. But the only people who made jokes were the opening acts.

There is DEFINITELY a lot of cursing. But what do you expect? It's a Blink-182 concert.

When I went there we sat pretty close to the stage. The pit is a little crazy but nothing to bad. There will be a lot of drugs, smoking, and alcohol there. I sat behind a guy that was totally drunk and there are people smoking EVERYWHERE.

If your child is 9 or younger, Please leave them home, it's just not safe. And if it means that you can't go to the concert, than just stay home. It's better to be safe than sorry.

If your child is 10-14, I think they should go with a parent/guardian.

If your child is 15-16 I would say, make sure they have some adult supervision available to them if they ever got in an emergency.

If your child is 17+, I think they will be fine depending on how mature they are.

It's not worth it. You go to a five minuet sound check and for the meet and greet, you don't even do anything. It's just not worth spending your money.

Even though the VIP is a rip off, I would still, highly suggest you go to there concert, it was phenomenal.

WAIT FOR IT !!!........... LIL WAYNE cancelled just hours before the show (rolling my eyes) so needless to say happy we showed up at 9pm because instead of lil wayne the fans were entertained by music mashups of rock and rap (crappy mix ups by the way) and music by the backstreet boys or n sync not sure which boy band it was but i was super annoyed when i heard the near sold out crowd singing along of "i want it that way" really crappy song but all these idiots were singing along like it was 6th grade but on to the positive blink 182 put on a great set for a whole 60 minutes yep 1 hour started at 9:30 was done by 10:30 great set pyro, smoke, cool video stage set up NO TOM DELONGE some new guy not his fault he played great but it wasnt teb same he didnt really sound like TOM so it was like blink 182 karaoke for some of the songs and the short set time I mean shit lil wayne doesnt show these guys could have saved the day and played longer but in typical rock star fashion they charged full price for tickets delivered half of a show and a short set disapointed much ? YEAH I WAS hate to say it but I mean it wasnt a 20 dollar ticket here tickets were not cheap but the amount of entertainment vs the amount paid for the ticket was not EQUAL felt pretty ripped off as a whole save your money this go round NOT WORTH THE CASH plus we drove 4 hours to go to this show so a few hundred dollars later we got and hour of a headliner entertainment hell KISS are 70 years old and played for 2 and a half hours the tickets were pricey but hell they were showmen and lots of fire, pyro, smoke, fireworks, ect stunts elevating risers ect so you tell me if its worth it to go see 40 year old entitled punks vs 70 year old vets who are doing a cash grab no doubt but are still delivering an experirience

Blink 182 has been my favorite band as a kid back in ‘96 when I first heard of them and will always be. I finally got to see them live for the first tine ever in 2016, 20 years later because they came close to my hometown in Greenville, SC. Then about 3 months later to my actual hometown in Charleston, SC. I was close to the middle up front and had the time of my life. I thank the whole band for making one person’s dream come true just to see you live. I’ve always wanted to meet Mark and Travis!! I was so like it’s cool when Mark tried to throw me a pick but it landed short and he apologized and he Ent on with the show. But my heart filled up with joy when, in my opinion, the greatest drummer in the whole universe, Travis Barker!!!!, acknowledged me when I gave him a thumbs up. Wish I could meet and talk to then!! A dream for a lifetime. Blink 182 you will always be number 1 to me and hold a special place in my heart as you do to millions of fans!! Love you all and can’t wait for the bext album!! Including Mark’s new band aka The Side Piece. Mark if you ever read this’ please don’t take offense to the comment. Blink 4 Life!! Peace...

Think early 2000s fashion, baggy jeans, chains, and terrible hair, ‘say it ain’t so, I will not go, turn the lights off, carry me home’. This song takes me right back to my young teenage self, jumping round my bedroom with a hairbrush as a microphone. Back in 2012 when I got asked if I would like to go and see Blink-182 live, I thought, sure!

Although my enthusiasm for them had somewhat dwindled over the last decade, it’s always fun to have a bit of a throwback and that’s exactly what I was hoping for when I went to their London O2 Arena concert. Even from the upper tier of the arena, the sound quality was amazing and as they game out on stage they began playing ‘Feeling This’ over the tumultuous sound of a cheering arena crowd.

The atmosphere was fuelled by the incredible set of the album cover and laser lights dancing across the stage and out towards the audience. As the show progressed, they began singing more and more classic, culminating in ‘All the Small Things’, which is what everyone was desperate to hear.

They really did put on a fantastic show, great vocals, performance, and energy, I’m so glad I went.

There's not much to say about a Blink-182 live show apart from the fact it must be seen to be believed. Having been pioneers of the pop/punk revival of the 90's, Blink have a huge string of cult hits and a fan base of all ages who continue to fill out their shows with no sign of slowing down.

The cheers are raised as the band confidently take to stage, running around, laughing, joking from the offset as if they were about to start a garage jam session rather than entertain thousands. This air of carelessness carries on as Blink are not a band who take themselves seriously during performance, during mass singalongs to 'What's My Age Again' they are often jovially moving around stage and baiting the crowds below.

The act does get a little relentless as it can feel as if the band hasn't really grown up since its formation. Although there are moments of sincerity in the form of 'I Miss You' and a well performed cover of 'Hybrid Moments' by Misfits. 'All The Small Things' obviously receives the best reaction, and the performance of this cult anthem is incredibly fun.

Took my 2 songs (20 & 16). Wanted to see both Frank Turner - who I've seen loads - and Blink

Managed to get access to O2 Priority & use their cloakrooms & loos before going into the Arena.

Frank T & The Sleeping Souls as always nailed it. How often do you see a support act crowdsurf

Then onto Blink. Stsrted with a bang literally. Flag dropped to reveal a firey F U C K behind the band.

From then they took us through a mixture of new songs for California (Bored to Death, Kings of the Weekend, Los Angeles + others) & old classics (Feeling This, I Miss You, Reckless Abandon, All the Small Things, Dumpweed & Dammit to name a few). Check out the setlist at setlist.com

Throughout the set we have flames, smoke burst, amazing graphics, firework waterfall and of course an end of set confetti canon

Travis' drumming was amazing & night finishing with his son performing a drum solo

A great night was had by all

Show exceeded expectations and was THRILLED we didn't have to listen to Lil Wayne - bonus. Thanks to St. Louis for helping to move him on his way to the next venue. Loved hearing Enema of the State in its entirety. Wish they had included Always but the other added songs were great as well. I thought Matt sounded great and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of the songs from California and NINE. Sad no encore but had a total blast singing along and dancing. Super charged stage show and Travis' drum solo was amazing but never long enough for me! (I'm sure plenty long for him - what a work out!) Neck Deep also put on a great performance. They are a GREAT opening act for Bink. Thanks for the show - and long lasting memories.

Best day of my whole entire life. These guys can rock the hell out of you. Amazing performance, amazing song list, amazing audience and atmosphere. When you see what Travis Barker does on the drums you are standing there with your jaw dropped and cannot believe it. I was a bit aftaid that the sound was going to be exactly like on the videos with Tom singing but no! This guy sings great and Mark too. Not a single problem with the sound. I loved in particular Rock Show, Always, Small Things, First Date and Down. Every time these guys are in town - just go there without thinking. We're atually very close to going to Leipzig tonight to see them one more time right away :)

Matt Skiba was filling in for Tom but the band didn't miss a beat all. The show at their old stomping grounds, SOMA in San Diego, was an unforgettable performance. The crowd was filled with a few too many teenagers who were more concerned with snapchatting the band than listening to them, but the band's performance made the show amazing regardless. Mark has enough funny/not-funny one liners to add some humor to the show, but overall it's just an awesome band cranking out the hits, as well as some throwbacks and deeper cuts. I've been a fan of them for 15 years and the show still exceeded all my expectations. I'd relive that show over and over.

The concert was sick! Everyone in the crowd (young, old, boy, girl, hardcore punk rock, or less so) was hype and having a great time! The energy onstage was contagious, you could feel it all through the venue! The lights and pyrotechnics were perfectly timed and kept the liveliness up all night. Blink 182 played an outstanding mix of thier old and new songs. It was crazy, I felt like I was frozen in time. The songs I used to listen to as a kid still make me feel alive. Blink 182 is timeless and they seem to only get better with age. I'm really happy I didn't miss this concert, this was truly one for the books!

blink-182 are hosting the Rock Show of 2024 with their upcoming One More Time Tour across North America this summer. The reunited core lineup of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker kicked off their comeback with two surprise sets at Coachella in April 2023, which led to their highest grossing North American tour ever , a headlining stint at Las Vegas’ When We Were Young festival and their chart-topping ninth album, One More Time…

After spending much of 2023 on the road during World Tour 2023/2024, the band is hitting North America again for the 2024 One More Time Tour starting in June. They will resume World Tour 2023/2024 and go international again after the One More Time Tour concludes in August.

Below, take a look at a typical blink-182 tour setlist and find out everything you need to know about the trio’s concerts.

blink-182 Concert Setlist Info

During their ongoing One More Time Tour, blink-182 have consistently featured their biggest hits, including “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things,” while incorporating new material from their latest album, One More Time… , which arrived in October 2023.

In February, blink-182 launched the Australian leg of their World Tour 2023/2024 and introduced several additions to the setlist from their new album, including a full performance of “ANTHEM PART 3,” “TURPENTINE” and the Travis Barker-led “F–K FACE.” The band have also experimented with a mash-up of their 1999 hit “Dammit” throughout the tour, playing teases to TLC’s “No Scrubs,” Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” and Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Other deep-cut performances included “Wendy Clear” and “Don’t Leave Me” from 2001’s five-time platinum-selling album Enema of the State .

Blink-182’s ‘One More Time Tour’ Setlist Includes A New Song And The Live Debut Of Box Car Racer And +44 Tracks

Derrick Rossignol

The story of Blink-182 can’t be told without mentioning the side projects. There was +44 (featuring Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker ), Box Car Racer (Tom DeLonge and Barker), and Angels & Airwaves (DeLonge). Well, Blink honored that history this past weekend by busting out songs from the former two bands live for the first time.

The band performed at Orlando’s Kia Center on June 20 to launch the the One More Time Tour . Per setlist.fm , the setlist saw the band playing (portions of) +44’s “When Your Heart Stops Beating” and Box Car Racer’s “There Is” for the first time as Blink-182.

As for what else made the set, the band drew primarily from their new album One More Time… and their self-titled fifth album. Of course, there was also “Can’t Go Back,” a brand-new song.

Check out the full setlist below.

So tiny, I was sitting on the stage, which was more like a platform. Standing right next to where I was sitting was Mark doing his bass thing. His right shoe was untied and I wanted to re-tie it without him noticing. I’m nice like that. Eventually he noticed and kind of looked down and nodded to me. So I tied it. And he nodded to me again, and I did that giddy girl-giggle thing. It was a great day.” Link Other bands include Less Than Jake and Frenzal Rhomb.

Blink records two new songs with producer Mark Trombino: "I Won't Be Home for Christmas" and "Mutt". IWBHFC is released as a promo single, while "Mutt" is placed on the soundtrack for The Show , a new Taylor Steele surf video released the following February. Blink later re-records "Mutt" with producer Jerry Finn later that year for its inclusion in the film American Pie .

See the 9/2/1997 date for more information. Rob Perelman, the band’s webmaster at that time, records the 9/2 date as a studio session, potentially for one of these two tracks.

Comprised of 26 tracks, the night’s setlist included deep cuts such as ‘Obvious’ and  ‘M+M’s’ which were played with Delonge for the first time since 2013. They also performed ‘When Your Heart Stops Beating’ and ‘There Is’ which are tracks from their side-projects +44 and Box Car Racer respectively. The performance of those two songs marked the first time the band has played songs from either side project during a Blink-182 set.

They also took the time to debut a brand-new song titled ‘Can’t Go Back’. To wrap up the show, Delonge and co performed ‘What’s My Age Again?’, ‘First Date’, ‘All the Small Things’, ‘Dammit’, and their recent chart-topper, ‘One More Time’ back to back.

Blink-182’s Kia Center setlist was:

‘Feeling This’ ‘The Rock Show’ ‘Man Overboard’ ‘Aliens Exist’ ‘DANCE WITH ME’ ‘Obvious’ (First live performance since 2018; first time with Tom since 2013) ‘Bored to Death’ ‘EDGING’ ‘Up All Night’ ‘MORE THAN YOU KNOW’ ‘M+M’s’ (First live performance since 2016; first time with Tom since 2013) ‘Stay Together for the Kids’ ‘Not Now’ (Extended drum solo with Travis suspended above the stage) ‘Can’t Go Back’ (World premiere; unreleased song) ‘I Miss You’ ‘Down’ ‘When Your Heart Stops Beating’ (+44 cover) ‘There Is’ (Box Car Racer cover)  ‘FUCK FACE’ ‘ANTHEM PART 3’ ‘Always’ ‘What’s My Age Again?’ ‘First Date’ ‘All the Small Things’ ‘Dammit’ ‘ONE MORE TIME’

Blink’s “One More Time Tour” marks the second tour they embarked on following the reformation with all of the original band members. It is in support of their ninth studio album ‘ One More Time ‘.

In a three-star review of the LP , NME shared: “Towards the end of the album, DeLonge asks a question many listeners will have in their minds as they hit play – “2023, who the fuck are we?” They aren’t all that far away from who they’ve always been – three friends wanting to make some noise and have a riot of a time doing it. Although they’re not exactly revolutionising pop punk, this was likely never the goal. Chances are, the fans just want the old Blink back anyway, and in 2023, they’re just as fun as ever.”

Earlier this year, the band revealed that they introduced brand new production elements, including a 360-stage set-up .

Blink-182 Debut New Song, Dust Off Rarities at 2024 North American Tour Kick-Off: Video + Setlist

The post Blink-182 Debut New Song, Dust Off Rarities at 2024 North American Tour Kick-Off: Video + Setlist appeared first on Consequence .

Blink-182 began the 2024 North American leg of their “One More Time Tour” on Thursday night at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. They ran through a 26-song set featuring greatest hits, rarities, tracks from side-projects Box Car Racer and +44, and even the premiere of a brand new song called “Can’t Go Back.”

The “One More Time Tour” marks Blink-182’s second tour since reforming with Tom DeLonge last year, and arrives in support of their new album, ONE MORE TIME… . Unlike their previous reunion tour, Blink-182 have introduced a few new production elements, including a 360 stage set-up.

The night began with opening performances from jxdn and Pierce the Veil prior to Blink taking the stage with usual opener “Feeling This.” The reunited trio then ran through beloved tracks like “The Rock Show,” “Man Overboard,” and One More Time cut “DANCE WITH ME.” They also busted out “Obvious” from the band’s 2003 self-titled album for the first time since 2018, and the first time with Tom DeLonge since 2013.

Blink then dusted off “Bored to Death,” the lone representation from the band’s Matt Skiba-era in the mid 2010s, right before playing “Up All Night,” the only track played from the band’s 2011 album Neighborhoods . After playing  Cheshire Cat number “M+Ms” for the first time since 2016, Blink-182 debuted a brand new song called “Can’t Go Back.” Once they completed the fan-favorite “I Miss You,” they continued their rarity streak with partial performances of +44’s “When Your Heart Stops Beating” and Box Car Racer’s “There Is,” marking the first time the band has played songs from either side project during a Blink-182 set.

The band closed out their show with five of their biggest hits all in a row: “What’s My Age Again?,” “First Date,” “All the Small Things,” “Dammit,” and their recent chart-topper, “One More Time.” See below for the full setlist of Blink-182’s opening date on their “One More Time Tour.”

Blink-182’s “One More Time Tour” continues this weekend in Miami, and runs through the summer with dates to come in Texas, California, New York, and more. The band is also set to headline Lollapalooza in Chicago and Austin City Limits in Austin this year. Get tickets to all their upcoming shows here .
