Snoop Dogg has announced the rescheduled 2023 dates for his ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ UK and Ireland tour. The hip-hop icon will kick off the arena jaunt at Belfast’s SSE Arena on March 14, followed by dates in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Dublin, Leeds, and Birmingham.

Snoop will be joined by his peers and collaborators Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice and D12. Irish rap duo Versatile are also hitting the road with the icons of the West Coast scene.

Meanwhile, Snoop and Dr. Dre have collaborated on a new album called “Missionary.” The hip-hop idols have teamed up on their first new music in three decades.

‘mama said knock you out’: ll cool j’s triumphant milestone, 20 songs bringing conscious hip-hop back.

He spilled in October: “Me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months.”

Asked about the sex position moniker, he replied: “The first album was ‘Doggystyle’…”

The album title confirmation comes after Eminem shared a snap in the studio with the pair in September and captioned it: “Just a few bros…hangin out.”

Snoop and Dre reunited earlier this year for an epic performance at the Super Bowl halftime show – along with Eminem , Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar . And following whispers that the pair were in the studio, Snoop told Entertainment Tonight : “We’re cooking up a little something. I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again.

“It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doin’ something, we’re workin’ on something.”

Snoop shot to fame in 1992 when he featured on Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover” and his solo LP The Chronic .

Earlier this year, Snoop bought Death Row Records, the label that launched his career. The rapper – whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr – acquired the company from MNRK Music Group for an undisclosed sum.

The 51-year-old megastar said in February: “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value. “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”

Snoop Dogg’s UK and Ireland 2023 dates are:

March 14 – Belfast, SSE Arena March 15 – Manchester, AO Arena March 16 – Glasgow, SEC Hydro March 21 – London, O2 Arena March 26 – Dublin, 3Arena March 27 – Leeds, First Direct Arena.

RACKING UP 2 MILLION+ VIEWS TO DATE,  THE ROCKET SCIENCE MUSIC VIDEO HAS HELD AT #1 ON YOUTUBE’S TRENDING CHART FOR OVER 10 DAYS

Last week, Stamford Hill's most promising rap export Clavish celebrated his first-ever top 10 single in the UK with ‘Rocket Science’ ft. D-Block Europe (DBE's second UK Top 10 single). Today, the GRM Rated and MOBO nominated rapper announces his headlining 2023 UK tour, including a headline show at 02 Academy Islington in London. Kicking off on March 23rd in Manchester, and continuing across the country with two more dates in Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham and London; the tour will be the rising rapper’s first outing as a headliner and will visit all the cities where his burgeoning fanbase are known to gather.

Tickets will go on general sale Thursday December 8th at 10AM (BST). Arriving on January 13th, new mixtape Rap Game Awful features a star-studded line-up of features from Fredo, Rimzee, Youngs Teflon, Teeway, Kaash Paige and many more, the arrival of “Rap Game Awful” signals a timely evolution of sound for Clavish. Across the 28-track-wide experimentation, fans can expect to hear Clavish ebb-and-flow between raps’ sub-genres, as he seamlessly merges his road rap sensibilities with trap and drill sounds. According to Complex UK, Clavish “makes rap seem like a breeze”. Having also been previously lauded by GRM Daily as “a rapper to keep your eyes peeled”, and by Clash Magazine as “North London’s rap force”, Clavish is one of the most hotly-tipped up-and-comers to emerge from London in recent years; with co-signs from The Face, Wonderland, Mixtape Madness and more.

Off the back of Clavish’s recent GRM Rated Awards nomination for “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year”, which saw him make his first TV appearance performing recent single “Public Figure” to applause from Dave and Stormzy, as well as the rappers recent nomination among an impressive cohort of “Best Newcomers” at this years MOBO Awards, the announcement of  “Rap Game Awful” is set to catapult the rising rapper to new heights. Thus, the offering of “Rap Game Awful” in tandem with the arrival of “Rocket Science” boldly marks Clavish’s intentions to beckon in a new level of musical elevation right at the outset of 2023.

About $uicideboy$

$uicideboy$ dig light out of the deepest corners of darkness, addiction, hopelessness, and pain. The New Orleans-bred duo of cousins—Scott Arcenaux, Jr. a.k.a. $crim and Aristos Petrou a.k.a. Ruby da Cherry—translate a fight against demons (seen and unseen) into a clever, caustic, and corrosively catchy apocalyptic vision of underground hip-hop pierced with punk intensity and laced with laidback Southern flows. The world first met $uicideboy$ in 2014.

After dozens of projects and hundreds of sold-out shows, they’ve generated billions of streams and earned multiple RIAA certifications, including the platinum “…And To Those I Love, Thanks For Sticking Around” and gold “Carrollton,” “2 nd Hand,” “Runnin’ Thru The 7 th With My Woadies,” “Paris,” and “Kill Yourself (Part III).” They also emerged as the rare force of nature equally suited to collaborate with Travis Barker and Juicy J or members of Korn. Beyond acclaim from Pigeons and Planes, Hypebeast, XXL, Revolver, and Billboard, they built G*59 into a bastion of independent talent and home to Night Lovell, Shakewell, Germ, Ramirez, and more.

The group logged 183 straight weeks on Rolling Stone’s Top 500 Popular Artists Chart, while 2021’s Long Term Effects of SUFFERING bowed at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 as their second Top 10 entry. Of the latter, Pitchfork declared, “the group’s past tapestries of violence have given way to more genuinely felt songs.”

Now, the platinum-certified arena headliner come out on the other side of hell with a clear message encoded at the heart of their third full-length LP, Sing Me A Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation [G*59 Records].

The biggest gigs and tours to look forward to in 2023

From reunited legends to rising stars, 2023’s live calendar is jam-packed with unmissable appointments

Self Esteem Stormzy Blur Damon Albarn

Times are tough right now, there’s no denying that. But there’s also no denying the healing power of music – especially going to witness your favourite artist or new obsession live. Luckily 2023 is already jam-packed with massive tours and big gigs to help brighten up our lives, whether that’s Arctic Monkeys stepping up to stadiums, rap’s newest star GloRilla showing her mettle, or reunited legends like Blur and Pulp giving us some good old nostalgia. Here are the biggest gigs and tours to look forward to this year.

  • Arctic Monkeys

Matt Helders and Alex Turner performing live on-stage with Arctic Monkeys in 2022

Dates announced: Arctic Monkeys ’ 2023 dates start early, ringing in the New Year in Australia. From there, they’ll tour Asia and Europe, before coming home to the UK for a massive stadium tour and returning to the US.

Why you should go: To witness a live show as dazzling as the mirrorball the band performed around on their 2022 tour. Something tells us the grandiose strings of latest album ‘The Car’ will sound absolutely majestic in the humongous venues the Monkeys will be playing over the next 12 months.

Elton John

Dates announced: Elton John starts his year in Australia and New Zealand before returning to the UK and Europe for a  Glasto finale .

Why you should go: These are quite literally your very last opportunities to see one of pop’s most iconic and unique artists. Sure, loads of acts say they’re quitting touring and then have a big change of heart a few years later, but you don’t want to take the risk of missing out on Elton.

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers

Recommended

Anthony Kiedis Red Hot Chili Peppers

Dates announced: Red Hot Chili Peppers will tour New Zealand, Australia and Asia in the first two months of the year, moving on to North America in spring, and Europe and the UK in summer.

Why you should go: They’re pros at the big stadium spectacular – they’ve been doing it for long enough by now. They’re also bringing some huge names with them in support, from Post Malone to The Strokes and Iggy Pop . Not bad!

  • Harry Styles

Harry Styles performing live on-stage in 2022

Dates announced: After three rescheduled LA dates in January, Harry Styles will head to Australia in February, continuing on to Asia and Europe, arriving in the UK in May.

Why you should go: The ‘Love On Tour’ tour might seem never-ending, but even if you’ve been multiple times, it’s still a whole lot of fun to go again. Enjoy the conga lines to ‘Treat People With Kindness’ and make friends with your seatmates as you bellow out Harry’s modern pop anthems together. Sounds lovely.

rap tours 2023 uk

Dates announced: The iconic British girl group will head down under in February before playing a one-off London date in September.

Why you should go: These dates are a continuation of the original Sugababes line-up’s reunion – Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donagh – and will see the women celebrating the 25th anniversary of the group. They’ve been through a lot of ups and downs in that time, but this feels like a perfect way to mark the milestone.

Glorilla

Dates announced: US tour begins January 27.

Why you should go: GloRilla is the hottest new hip-hop talent in the game and it’s not going to be long before she’s filling massive venues around the world. Get down to this tour and say you saw her first – and enjoy her mix of femininity and boldness in her infectious songs.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Bruce Springsteen performing live on stage during Paul McCartney's headline set at Glastonbury 2022

Dates announced: US leg begins February 1; the tour arrives in Europe on April 28, with UK dates from May 30.

Why you should go: There’s been some (deserved) uproar about very expensive tickets, but if you can find a pass at a reasonable price, Springsteen will certainly give you value for money – his gigs are known to stretch for hours, rattling through the big hits and the fan favourites far longer than most acts would perform for.

Paramore

Dates announced: US leg runs from February to August, with UK dates nestled in the middle in April.

Why you should go: To hear the brilliant new songs from upcoming album ‘This Is Why’ among all the best cuts from their back catalogue. Plus, it’s been way too long since Hayley Williams and co went on a proper tour – five years, in fact.

  • Caroline Polachek

Caroline Polachek

Dates announced: The UK, Europe and North America are all on Caroline Polachek ’s schedule, beginning in the former in February.

Why you should go: The alt-pop star’s live shows have been described as a work of art and she always packs surprises into her sets – like at her last London gig, when she was joined by Croydon’s Trinity Girls Choir on ‘Billions’.

Self Esteem

rap tours 2023 uk

Dates announced: UK tour kicks off in February.

Why you should go: This tour feels like a victory lap for Self Esteem , who arguably has had the best last couple of years out of all of us. Her album ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ has constantly wowed fans and critics alike, while her live show has been praised as one of the best in recent memory. Give yourself another chance to see why it’s so brilliant before she inevitably pops off to come up with her next mind-blowing record.

SZA - SOS review

Dates announced: US tour kicks off February 21.

Why you should go: Because SZA ’s new album ‘SOS’ is a very late contender for Album Of The Year and, had it been released earlier, would certainly have been nearing the top of a lot of lists. If you need any more incentive (you shouldn’t), she’s also bringing along Omar Apollo in support to add some extra greatness.

Yungblud performing live on-stage

Dates announced: The Doncaster rock’n’roller will head out on a world tour, beginning in the UK in February before hitting Europe and North America.

Why you should go: Yungblud ’s gigs are renowned for being inclusive, euphoric and theatrical celebrations where you can let go, be yourself and find a community of kindred spirits. We could all do with a bit more of that energy in 2023 so get down to a show and make the most of it.

Lizzo. Credit: Tim Mosenfelder via Getty Images

Dates announced: Europe tour begins February, with UK dates from March before continuing onto North America.

Why you should go: Lizzo shows are the ultimate upper – a feel good celebration of life from one of the most infectious personalities in music. Grab your mates and make sure you get there in time for “bad bitch o’clock”.

BLACKPINK

Dates announced: The ladies of BLACKPINK will take their BORN PINK tour across Asia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand in the first half of the year, before heading to London in July to headline BST Hyde Park.

Why you should go: This K-pop girl group know how to put on a show , from hi-tech, futuristic VTs to set the mood between each phase of the concert, to artful and flashy stage production. The songs are equally as good – by the time you leave the venue, you’ll have several jostling for place as that day’s earworm.

Blink-182

Dates announced: Blink ’s return begins in South America on March 11, before heading to North America in May and the UK and Europe in September.

Why you should go: It’s the pop-punk icons’ first tour with Tom DeLonge since he left the band in 2015 – aka a massive deal. There’s also a new album on the way, so this won’t just be a big nostalgia trip.

  • Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift performing live on-stage

Dates announced: US leg begins March 17; international dates TBA.

Why you should go: Taylor Swift ’s 2023 tour is dubbed ‘The Eras Tour’ and, while it’s not entirely clear exactly how she’s going to honour each of her past albums yet, it’s guaranteed to be the perfect chance to celebrate the many highs of her brilliant career so far (if you can beat Ticketmaster). Plus, the support bill in the US is stacked, with Paramore , Phoebe Bridgers , Gracie Abrams , Haim , Girl In Red , and many more along for the ride.

The Walkmen

The Walkmen Hamilton Leithauser

Dates announced: US tour begins April 24; one further festival date confirmed so far at Portugal’s Paredes de Coura Festival.

Why you should go: Sure, New York in the early noughties had The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Interpol , but it also had The Walkmen , a band who often get left out of top billing when talking about that much-romanticised scene. Take one listen to the indie disco classic ‘The Rat’ and tell us that’s fair, and then go book your tickets to their reunion tour.

Kirk Hammett (left) and James Hetfield (right) of Metallica performs on day 1 of Lollapalooza at Grant Park on July 28, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois

Dates announced: The tour begins in Europe in April, heading to the UK for two sets at Download Festival in June, before moving onto North America.

Why you should go: As if you need a reason to go and see Metallica , the titans of metal. But just in case: they’re masters of their craft – aka big, bruising, headbang-worthy riffs – and have a discography of seemingly endless anthems for you to get lost in the moshpit to.

Damiano David of Måneskin

Dates announced: The Italian rockers will tour Europe across spring with a massive London gig at The O2 in May.

Why you should go: In this day and age, it’s rare for Eurovision contestants to carve out careers post-Song Contest that aren’t short-lived or derided as novelty. But Måneskin are living proof that it is doable, so long as you have the tunes and the charisma to deserve more than 15 minutes of fame. The four-piece have both in bucketloads, as you can bear witness to on this tour.

Foals

Dates announced: An intimate UK tour in May.

Why you should go: Foals are now one of the biggest bands in the UK and so the opportunity to see them in tiny venues is a rare chance we must grab when it’s presented to us. Dance to ‘My Number’ on the sticky floor of a club in spring, then celebrate their ascent as they headline Reading & Leeds in the summer.

Pulp

Dates announced: The UK and Ireland-only dates begin in May, continuing til July.

Why you should go: They’re back, baby! Just under a decade since their last live performances, Pulp have reunited once more and are taking their show back on the road to liven up our summer. Expect all the classics, but no Steve Mackey – the bassist has confirmed he won’t join the band on tour.

Damon Albarn of Blur performs live

Dates announced: Select European festival dates woven between three headline shows in Dublin and London this June.

Why you should go: When Blur first reunited in 2009, they instantly blew away any fears that the band might not be the same after years apart. This latest reunion should be no different and the members seem in good spirits about it, too. “We really love playing these songs and thought it’s about time we did it again,” Damon Albarn said when the gigs were announced.

Moldy Peaches

Adam Green

Dates announced: One London show and appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Madrid

Why you should go: It’s been 20 years since anti-folk icons The Moldy Peaches last performed in Europe. Although they announced their reunion with the slogan “Once a Moldy Peach, always a Moldy Peach”, who knows when this opportunity to see New York underground royalty will come around again?

Joni Mitchell

Joni Mitchell

Dates announced: George, WA, Gorge Amphitheatre (June 10).

Why you should go: Joni Mitchell might be playing only one date next year but you should move heaven and earth to try and make it. Why? The last time she held a full concert was 23 years ago and it’s unlikely she’s about to hit the road for even a handful more dates at this point, so it could be your only chance to see the bonafide legend live.

Pet Shop Boys

Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant

Dates announced: The UK and European tour runs from June to July.

Why you should go: This is Pet Shop Boys ’ ‘Dreamworld – The Greatest Hits Live’ tour so you’re basically assured that you’re going to hear all of the biggest and best songs in their inimitable arsenal.

jamie t live

Dates announced: London, Finsbury Park (June 23)

Why you should go: It’s Jamie T ’s biggest headline show to date and bound to be an absolute riot. This is an artist who can do indie disco bangers, poignant, softer (if booze-soaked) cuts, and everything in between and make it seem effortless.

The Weeknd

The Weeknd

Dates announced: UK and Europe tour begins in June before covering Latin America.

Why you should go: This huge stadium tour will cover both of The Weeknd ’s two latest albums – ‘After Hours’ and ‘Dawn FM’ – taking you inside the sci-fi-tinged world of both masterpieces.

Stormzy

Dates announced: Stormzy will take over one day of London’s All Points East, curating a special ‘This Is What We Mean Day’.

Why you should go: The whole day will be Stormzy’s vision – something he’s already proved countless times is a great thing. The line-up has yet to be announced but expect to discover exhilarating new talent, big names making surprise appearances and, of course, it all to be topped off by a headline set from Big Mike himself.

The Postal Service & Death Cab For Cutie

Ben Gibbard

Dates announced: US tour kicks off September 8

Why you should go: Ben Gibbard is pulling double duty on the tour, fronting both The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie . The tour itself is a celebration of two albums – the former’s ‘Give Up’ and the latter’s ‘Transatlanticism’, and you’ll get to see both played in full. What more could you ask for?

RZA of Wu-Tang Clan

Last week, Billboard revealed its year-end Boxscore charts , ranking the top tours, venues, and promoters of 2023. That coverage included analysis of the new wave of genre diverse artists crashing stadium stages, and in turn, our charts. Here, we are breaking down the year’s biggest tours, genre by genre . Today, we continue with rap.

Hip-hop had a confusing year, celebrating all of the groundbreaking art and success that has come in its first 50 years, while also dealing with a drought of crossover hits. But major releases from Drake , Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott helped momentum in the second half of 2023, while a new class of headliners waits in the wings.

Rap has never scaled on stage in quite the same way that pop, rock and country have. Its share of the top 100 tour grosses slips from 3.4% in 2022 to 2.7% this year, having peaked at 5.2% in 2019. And even as Latin and K-pop acts increase their touring footprint with international stadium shows, hip-hop artists have yet to cross that threshold. The genre’s biggest names have mounted stadium tours alongside pop peers ( Jay-Z with Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake ; Eminem with Rihanna ) but outside of one-off dates, there has yet to be a major stadium tour by a rapper on their own.

That’s not to say that rap hasn’t generated stars big enough to compete with pop stars such as Taylor Swift and Harry Styles . R&B/hip-hop was confirmed as the most popular genre in America in 2017 and has continued that reign into the new decade. Rap artists led Billboard ’s year-end Top Artist ranking for four consecutive years (2018-21) and there are six in this year’s top 20 – more than any other genre. With Doja Cat , Lil Uzi Vert , Rod Wave and Travis Scott already touring into the 2024 reporting period, the genre’s prospects are looking up.

Keep reading to check out the top 10 highest grossing tours of 2023 by hip-hop artists, with such acts qualifying due to recent performance on Billboard ’s Top Rap Albums and/or Hot Rap Songs charts. Rankings are determined according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. All reported shows worldwide between Nov. 1, 2022 – Sept. 30, 2023, are eligible.

Rod Wave

$10.3M / 107K tickets / 11 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: N/A

Rod Wave toured early in the 2023 tracking period, supporting 2022’s Beautiful Mind . He’s back on the road now, after the release of this year’s Nostalgia .

Snoop Dogg

$11.8M / 124K tickets / 11 shows

Snoop Dogg hit three continents, playing solo shows in North America, Australia and Europe. Two shows at the Tacoma Dome in Washington grossed $2.9 million from 16,600 tickets.

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar, Life Is Beautiful 2023

$12.8M / 128K tickets /10 shows

After posting the highest grossing rap tour of 2022, international dates extend the chart presence of The Big Steppers Tour. In all, reported grosses for the tour hit $85.4 million with 672,000 tickets sold.

Lil Baby

$15.7M / 133K tickets / 13 shows

Speaking of repeat offenders, Lil Baby was No. 8 on last year’s hybrid R&B/hip-hop tour ranking due to his co-headline run with Chris Brown, and moves up to No. 7 on this year’s rap breakout on his own.

NF

$18.1M / 286K tickets / 31 shows

NF toured the U.S. and Canada with more than 30 shows in support of Hope , which was released on April 7 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard ’s Top Rap Albums chart.

Wu-Tang Clan & Nas

Nas, Wu-Tang Clan

$18.8M / 196K tickets / 21 shows

Across Australia, Europe and the U.S., Wu-Tang Clan and Nas teamed up for a co-headline tour fitting for the genre’s 50th anniversary. Giants of ‘90s rap, both acts are helping establish a new tier of classic hip-hop headliners.

$uicideboy$

Ruby Da Cherry and $crim of $uicideboy$

$20.2M / 214K tickets / 23 shows

The New Orleans duo scored big in 2023 and continues to win. Since the Sept. 30 cutoff, $uicideboy$ has added almost $25 million to its career earnings. Two shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., delivered the duo’s biggest gross yet, with $2.9 million in the bank.

Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg

$25.9M / 529K tickets / 35 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: No. 94

Snoop Dogg is the only artist to appear twice on any of the 2023 year-end genre rankings. Already No. 9 as a soloist, he’s No. 3 with co-headline pal Wiz Khalifa. This year’s High School Reunion Tour marked the pair’s third tour together, after playing in 2011-12 and 2016.

50 Cent

$35M / 445K tickets / 32 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: No. 72

It’s no wonder that 50 Cent’s The Final Lap Tour has been such a success. It’s a celebration of the 20th anniversary for Get Rich or Die Tryin’ , the album the propelled 50 to the top of Billboard ’s 2003 year-end charts for Top Artists, the Billboard 200 albums chart, and the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Drake

$140.9M / 528K tickets / 32 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: No. 12

Drake already was named Billboard ’s Top Rap Artist of the year, with Top Rap Albums and Hot Rap Songs honors to boot, so it makes sense that he also has the year’s highest grossing rap tour. Reported shows earned almost $150 million (including two from outside the reporting period) that extend his lead as the highest grossing rap artist in Boxscore history, with $472.5 million.

The history of rap & hip-hop

Often much more than a ‘music event’, rap gigs are all about the artistic expression throughout the performance, with a heavy focus on clever, complicated lyrics and the speed at which they spit bars. Iti s this story-telling approach that the genre of rap lends itself to, with the music scene deriving from the traditional folk performance of reading poetry, originating in West Africa. This style of vocal performance then evolved into what is now widely-recognised as the genre of rap and hip-hop that emerged from the Bronx, New York City, in the late ’70s with the likes of DJ Hollywood and Tupac making waves in a new scene for this kind of music. The more recent rap and hip-hop megastars, such as Cardi B and Jay Z, have only served to continue the showcase of high-quality, hip-hop talent coming straight from the New York scene. It’s no wonder  that modern-day rap stars have remained loyal to the tradition of telling a story, only this time with unforgettable lyrics over a catchy beat. You can find all your tickets for rap and hip-hop music on StubHub today.

The emerging British rap scene

It may seem like the most popular household names in rap and hip-hop are from America, but more recently, the UK has seen its own emerging rap scene with the likes of Skepta, Wiley and Stormzy disrupting the global rap scene and holding their own in music charts around the world. These are just a few of the British artists currently stealing the crown from the household names of rap and raising the profile and popularity of hip-hop gigs. With social media showcasing new and fresh talent every week, rap stars are emerging from all manner of platforms, making it the most relevant scene in music to date. Whether you’re a seasoned hip-hop fan or recent rap convert, there’s something for everyone in this exciting and fresh music scene. Why not check out when Don Strapzy is next strutting his stuff on stage, or Machine Gun Kelly "rap devil", with rap and hip-hop music tickets from StubHub–the best place for music tickets.

Coldplay tour 2025 announced with UK stadium dates - how to get tickets and pre-sale

They had been teasing an announcement, and the first set of uk tour dates for 2025 have been revealed.

  • 09:32, 17 SEP 2024

rap tours 2023 uk

Coldplay have announced eight huge stadium gigs in the UK for 2025. Fans had been anticipating a gig announcement after cryptic messages from the band were left on trains across the UK this week.

Now, it has been confirmed that the band will bring their huge world tour back to home turf in the UK next August. Gigs announced today are at Hull's Craven Park and London's Wembley Stadium.

The new dates will see the band continue the mammoth Music of the Spheres World Tour which first began back in 2021. The band head to the final dates of the 2024 tour in October and November to Australia and New Zealand.

Coldplay announced the news on Tuesday morning. They say the dates will be the ONLY European cities they will play in 2025.

They have also announced that 10% of the band's proceeds from the UK shows will be donated to the Music Venue Trust to support grassroots venues and new music.

The band have also confirmed that the Wembley concerts' production will be powered with 100% solar, wind and kinetic energy. There is set to be a huge clamour for tickets for the shows when they go on general sale on Friday.

The band last played in Manchester at a series of huge Etihad shows in 2023. Hull looks set to be the best shot of seeing the band in the north west in 2025 after the band's statement.

Fans in Liverpool had been praying the band were heading there after a passenger spotted a cryptic message on the Avanti West Coast train from London to Liverpool Lime Street last week.

Coldplay will be performing in Hull in 2025

On a message board, usually displaying train information, it read 'Everyone is an alien somewhere' - a Coldplay concept that has featured in their lyrics and interviews, becoming a familiar line within the band's ethos.

That appears unlikely now that the band have stated the dates announced today will be the ONLY European venues they will head to in 2025.

Coldplay 2025 UK dates

Monday, August 18 - Hull Craven Park

Tuesday, August 19 - Hull Craven Park

Friday, August 22 - London Wembley Stadium

Saturday, August 23 - London Wembley Stadium

Tuesday, August 26 - London Wembley Stadium

Wednesday, August 27 - London Wembley Stadium

Saturday, August 30 - London Wembley Stadium

Sunday, August 31 - London Wembley Stadium

How to get tickets

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday September 27 from 9am. The band sent a link to Live Nation for ticket information, and there is also a landing page now live on Ticketmaster to buy tickets for the gigs.

Is there a pre-sale?

Yes, the band have announced there will be exclusive first ticket access to fans who order Moon Music from the official Coldplay UK or EU Stores, at https://store.coldplay.com (including those who already have).
