Taylor Swift hasn’t announced international ‘Eras Tour’ stops yet. Filipino Swifties created their own, starring a local drag performer.

We caught up with Taylor Sheesh, the viral 28-year-old Filipino Taylor Swift drag queen.

Swifties in the Philippines packed a mall to watch their version of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, featuring drag performer Taylor Sheesh. Videos of the show have gone viral. We spoke with Sheesh about it. (Left: Taylor Sheesh provided by Sheesh. Right: Swift in Philadelphia by Staff Photographer Elizabeth Robertson.)

Thousands of Swifties gathered, excitedly chanting, “We want the ‘Eras Tour.’”

They dressed up. They danced. They screamed along to the singer’s hits. They watched elaborate choreography and roared as confetti bazookas popped off.

All that was missing was Taylor Swift.

Filipino fans of Swift filled Ayala Malls Trinoma in Quezon City last weekend to watch Taylor Sheesh , a Philippines-based drag queen, perform an adapted version of Swift’s hit “Eras Tour.”

The “Eras Tour” is scheduled to hit nearly 30 cities this year and has more than 50 scheduled sold-out performances. Philadelphia, where Swift performed earlier this month , had multiple shows. Still, despite all its success — and its ability to break Ticketmaster — the “Eras Tour” does not have any international dates scheduled. While Swift confirmed there will be international shows, she hasn’t announced specific locations.

Filipino fans want to make sure they’re considered. A local stan group, Swifties Philippines, threw the homage at the mall in hopes of proving their love for Taylor and ability to pack a stadium. The group also hosted a similar event in Manila in March. Other “Eras Tour” tributes have been hosted in Peru and Malaysia , all in an effort to get Swift to take her tour internationally.

But let’s be clear: This wasn’t a light drag brunch.

During her nearly 90-minute set, Sheesh — who goes by Mac when she’s not performing — underwent 11 costume changes to match Swift’s “Eras” outfits, and was backed by a video screen and backup dancers. Together, it makes for a stunning tribute to a show that is still touring.

Sheesh, 28, told The Inquirer that the only way for people in the Philippines to reliably watch Swift’s live performances is through fans who stream their views of the concert on social media. She aims to watch every performance.

“From the time the tour started, I watched it every night,” she said.

Then, she noted which acts, outfits, and moments she could replicate.

For instance, in the “Eras Tour” version of “Lover,” Swift wears a sparkly bodysuit and plays acoustic guitar. In her version, Sheesh does the same. In Swift’s performance of “willow” from the album Evermore , she performs a witchy ritual number with a musical interlude not original to the studio track as dancers hold glowing orbs as props. In Sheesh’s version, they manage to do the same.

Sheesh even went as far as recreating a viral moment from Swift’s second Philadelphia performance — when she yelled at a security guard mid-song for allegedly getting too rough with a fan.

Videos of Sheesh’s performance have gone viral on TikTok and Twitter, introducing the Philippines’ top Swift impersonator to an entirely new audience. The virality led to national and international mainstream media coverage of the tribute performances.

“The validation that I’m receiving right now is tremendous,” Sheesh said, noting recognition from Rolling Stone and Gaytimes UK .

Sheesh’s performances aren’t new. The longtime fan has been performing as Swift since 2017 at Nectar Nightclub , a popular LGBTQ+ club in Metro Manila, Philippines. Her favorite songs to perform, she said, are “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me.”

As for the mall performance, Sheesh credits Swifties Philippines for its efforts.

They created a Midnights Mayhem event to celebrate the release of Swift’s latest album, Midnights, in October . After the “Eras Tour” was announced, Swifties Philippines created the Eras Festival “to celebrate her songs and to ask Taylor to include Manila in her international dates,” Sheesh said.

In Instagram posts by Swifties Philippines, the group shows off prep work that included boxing “kits” for show attendees with special Swift tribute merch, like a souvenir flag and a keychain. They hashtag each post with: #WeWantErasTourPhilippines. On TikTok, videos using the hashtag have over 17 million views.

Stateside, viral videos of Sheesh performing as Filipino fans earnestly sing along have captured viewers’ hearts. Strangers are rooting for Sheesh to get her flowers — and hopefully a nod from Swift herself.

While Swift’s team did not respond to a request for comment, Sheesh is still holding out hope.

“We haven’t heard anything [from Swift] yet,” she said. “But, we’re hoping and praying really hard.”

Filipino Taylor Swift Stans Packed a Mall to See an Eras Tour Drag Show

By Tomás Mier

Taylor Swift stans in the Philippines aren’t sure if their favorite singer is going to make the trek to Asia on her Eras Tour — so they threw their own version of the sought-after show.

Over the weekend, Swifties in Quezon City packed Ayala Malls Trinoma to watch Taylor Sheesh , a local drag queen and Swift stan, perform a full set in the style of the singer’s headline-making tour.

“To all my fellow Swifties, thank you so much for your energy last night,” Sheesh — whose username is @heymacyou — captioned a post of her performance.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mac (Taylor's Version) (@heymacyou)

The lip-synced show involved everything from outfit changes for each album era — a blue bodysuit for Midnights , a flowy gown for Speak Now , and a red two-piece for Red — to backup dancers, confetti cannons, and merchandise.

Attendees could be heard singing the lyrics and dancing along in numerous videos that went viral on TikTok over the weekend. The goal of the performance? Convince Swift to perform in their country as Swifties tagged their videos with #WeWantErasTourPhillipines. (Videos with that hashtag have more than 17 million views.)

The event was thrown by Swifties Philippines, a collective of the singer’s fans in the country, who similarly threw an event like it in Manila at the end of March.

The event echoes a similar drag queen show earlier this year in Peru after YouTube star iOA threw a recreation of Rosalía’s Motomami World Tour when the artist did not include the South American country as part of her tour dates.

Swift is currently on her Eras trek across the U.S. through August, and she has yet to announce whether she’ll perform in other countries for her tour.

Today, Disney+ announced that “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” will make its streaming debut on March 15, 2024, exclusively on Disney+.

Stream Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour from the Philippines

Swifties in the Philippines, the wait is over! Taylor Swift’s sensational ‘The Eras Tour’ film, which has captivated audiences worldwide, is now accessible for streaming. Celebrating her illustrious 17-year career, the film brings to life the magic of her record-breaking tour. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or new to the Swiftie community, this article guides you on how to enjoy the concert film from the comfort of your home.

The Eras Tour film, initially released in theaters, is now available for digital rental. It features an extended version, including fan favorites like “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer,” and “Long Live,” which were not part of the theatrical release. The digital release marks a significant milestone for Swift, who has recently been named Time Person of the Year and has broken the Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing music tour ever.

Where to Watch: Available Platforms and Pricing

For fans in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland, the film is readily available on multiple streaming platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV+, Xfinity, Vudu, Google Play, YouTubeTV, and SkyTV Premiere. The rental price is set at $19.89 or approximately P1,116.53, with a 48-hour viewing window.

Streaming Solutions for Filipino Fans

But how can Filipino fans join in on the celebration? Although direct access to the film is not yet available in the Philippines, there’s a workaround using a VPN, or virtual private network. A VPN allows you to change your digital location to a country where the film is available, such as the US. Once you’ve subscribed to a VPN service, simply log into your chosen streaming app, and you’ll be ready to watch.

Enhanced Viewing with Prime Video

Prime Video users can enjoy an added feature with the X-Ray content, which provides insights into each song as it unfolds in the film. This platform also allows you to connect to Amazon Music for an even more immersive experience, letting you listen to additional tracks from the tour.

Taylor’s Birthday Surprise and the Tour’s Legacy

Taylor Swift announced the availability of the concert film on her birthday, December 13, as a gift to her fans. The Eras Tour, described by Taylor as a journey through her musical eras, kicked off in March and concluded in August, leaving fans clamoring for more. The digital release of the film ensures that Swifties everywhere can relive the excitement of the live performances.

Anticipation for a Local Streaming Service

As Taylor’s camp has not yet announced a specific streaming platform for the Philippines, fans are eagerly awaiting updates. Past Taylor Swift projects have been released on Netflix and Disney+, which could be potential homes for the Eras Tour film. In the meantime, using a VPN remains the best option for Filipino fans to stream the movie.

In conclusion, while Filipino Swifties may need to take an extra step to stream ‘The Eras Tour’ film, the effort is well worth it. With the digital rental now available, fans can experience the enchantment of Taylor Swift’s music and performances, ensuring that the Eras Tour lives on in the hearts of her global audience.

Meet Taylor Sheesh, the Philippines’ Favorite Taylor Swift Impersonator

Meet Taylor Sheesh, the Philippines’ Favorite Taylor Swift Impersonator

The grind never stops for Taylor Sheesh, the Philippines' preeminent Taylor Swift impersonator. The minute we get on Zoom, they admit they've just woken up from a well-timed nap. After performing as the pop star for 90 minutes on Sunday in front of several thousand people (a concert that went viral on TikTok and Twitter ), Sheesh, who also goes by Mac, is gearing up to work the graveyard shift at the customer service job they picked up when bars closed during the pandemic. "At this age we need naps," the 28-year-old says.

Sheesh's performance at the TriNoma mall in Quezon City came courtesy of Swifties Philippines, a fan-led coalition promoting Swift across the country and campaigning for her speedy return. (Swift hasn't toured in the Philippines since 2014.) International dates for The Eras Tour have yet to be announced, and the group is hoping their free listening parties — which are so popular that brands are clamoring to sponsor them — will draw the pop star back to their archipelago.

We caught up with Sheesh as they gushed about all things Swift and shared their journey into drag performance.

How did your viral mall performance come about?

Taylor Sheesh: The admin of Swifties Philippines contacted me about a month before the event and said they were having a listening party at TriNoma, one of the biggest malls here in Quezon City, which is one of the most active Swift-streaming cities in the world .

I have a friend who always makes my drag and Taylor costumes. Once the organizer said that they were having a show on May 21, I asked my friend on April 30 if she could make them in time, and she said, "Sure, why is that even a question?" She made four [costumes]: the blue bodysuit from the Midnights era, the green dress from Folklore — which we love — the Red red-and-black one piece, and the Reputation -era bodysuit with the snake on it. Two days before the show she sent me the finished products, and we checked to make sure it all worked and it was perfect. We mixed those with costumes I already had from past performances.

How long have you been a Taylor Swift impersonator?

I started impersonating her in 2017 or 2018. I am also a drag queen at Nectar Night Club, and I started doing that in 2017. My friend took me hostage. It was my first time in a night club, and she made me go in drag. There was a lip sync battle, and my friend pushed me in — like, literally pushed me — and I won. It was a Lady Gaga-themed drag night, I was either lip syncing "Bad Romance" or "Born This Way." I was wearing a crop top and shorts, similar to what Lady Gaga was wearing in her performance with Metallica . All my enemies… er… contenders were wearing that that night.

That evening, my manager asked me to join a group she was creating that would perform every Friday and Saturday at that club. It escalated quickly. And since then I've performed with Drag Race queens in their shows, like with Sasha Velour and others, when they come to visit.

What is it like to be a drag performer and a Taylor Swift impersonator in the Philippines? Is it supportive? Do you feel safe?

Yes, we feel very safe, and I'm so very happy that since Drag Race Philippine s season one, [drag performance] is very mainstream here in the Philippines. They just finished filming season two, so a lot of people here in the Philippines are very interested in drag and we, as drag queens, try to educate them on how a drag queen works, how the culture works.

How do you educate them, by performing? I saw you were also on a TV show recently.

By performing or performing at Pride events, talks, and podcasts. That was my first time on a TV show.

Are you able to perform full-time?

Before the pandemic I worked as a call center agent Monday to Friday and worked in the night club Friday and Saturday night, so Sunday was always my rest day. In 2018, I started my drag career as a full-time job, but when the pandemic started all the bars were closed. I started working in customer support again and still do, in addition to drag. Sometimes I ask the [Swifties Philippines] event organizers when they'll want me to perform so I can match that schedule to my rest day.

the eras tour philippines

When did you become a Swiftie?

2009. When I heard "Fifteen."

What are your favorite Taylor songs, personally?

I'm a Speak Now stan, so I love "Last Kiss" and "Dear John."

What do you love about Taylor?

Everything. Cats. Her iconic moments from The Eras Tour. Her Reputation era, which was so traumatic because she deactivated all her social media. Her break-up with Joe [Alwyn]! She also fights for artists' rights, for them to be compensated. Artists put too much work into their art, and they need to be recognized and validated. Also, she fought for the Equality Act in the U.S., and she also supported an anti-terrorism law in the Philippines.

How do you feel about the break-up?

I don't know because I came home from work, and it was [April 9,] Easter Sunday in the Philippines. Jesus just rose up from the dead, and Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up. I don't know what to feel.

What do you think about her and Matty Healy?

Mmm, for me it's a no because I've read about Matty. But it's Taylor's choice. That's her mind, that's her heart. We'll just need to support her just like we support her music.

What was your research process like for your full-length Eras Tour performance?

I watched the first night of her tour on TikTok Live, and I've watched every city since. That's our only way to watch her [in the Philippines], through Swifties [at the venue] streaming her concerts live. So I watch her movements, her costumes, her songs. And of course, we're always waiting for her surprise songs.

I was wondering which surprise songs you chose for your performance.

I chose "Cornelia Street" and "Long Live," but my performance is too long, and I wanted to give more opportunities to our live performers [who cover Swift songs at the listening parties], so they sang them! We always sing "Long Live" after the show as a way to celebrate Taylor. The song means a lot to us here in the Philippines. Our former Vice President [Leni Robredo] is a Swiftie , and so are her daughters. She used "Long Live" as a theme song for her campaign.

You said your personal favorite Taylor Swift songs are "Last Kiss" and "Dear John." What's your favorite song to perform?

I always love to perform "Love Story" or "You Belong With Me." Every Swiftie can jump to it, you can see a huge wave of the crowd jumping. When I was performing this weekend, from my point of view seeing the people dancing and especially jumping, I was thinking, "Is the second floor strong enough? [Laughs] Is it going to collapse?"

How would you describe Taylor's performance style?

Taylor is an awkward dancer, which is very cute to us. Her songs always tell a story, that's what I tell first-timers or people who are not totally a fan of her. I always say, "There is a Taylor Swift song for every situation."

Do you try to mimic what Taylor does or add your own moves? What's your favorite Taylor move to do?

I'm always learning how to act like Taylor, how to move like Taylor, how to smile like Taylor, and overall, how to approach performing like Taylor, like Taylor's Version. My favorite is when she hits the high note and leans back.

What's your goal for the future?

I would just want to be noticed by Taylor and to have her come to the Philippines on her international dates. Because I believe that the Philippines is a Taylor Nation country. The last time she was here was 2014 for The Red Tour, which I didn't get a chance to attend because I don't have that money yet. Someone on Twitter livestreamed it. But Taylor Nation blocked it!

I want to perform internationally, that's my dream. In drag, which I love, or as Taylor. I can see my future there.

Are you going to try for a spot on Drag Race Philippines ?

I'm enjoying this moment right now. Maybe for season three!

Filipinos were ready for it: PH top buyer of Taylor Swift tour tickets in Klook

TAYLOR SWIFT. The popstar during the Argentina stop of her 'The Eras' concert tour.

MANILA, Philippines – If you felt that half of the Philippines flew into Singapore to see Taylor Swift, you might actually be onto something.

Data from travel and experience app Klook showed that Filipinos were the top buyers globally of Klook ticket bundles for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” in Singapore, accounting for somewhere between 10% to 15% of the ticket bundles sold. In comparison, the percentage of sales from other ASEAN countries was only in the single digits per market.

“Philippines was a big chunk of that,” Michelle Ho, general manager of Klook Philippines and Thailand, said. “ Malakas si Taylor Swift sa Pilipinas (Taylor Swift has a strong presence here in the Philippines).”

Klook told Rappler that at one point, over 10 million users entered their queue in the span of one second. And Klook’s infrastructure held up – something that not all platform can say. (READ: ‘Unprecedented’ demand for Taylor Swift tour crashes Ticketmaster website )

“That’s not normal. It’s not even normal not to crash when the spike is that high,” Ho told Rappler. “What was a success for us was even as a newbie in the entertainment scene, our app did not crash. We could hold a number of people on queue, and people were able to successfully book tickets on the app.”

It also looks like Taylor Swift was able to beat inflation as hundreds of thousands flocked to Singapore – her only stop in Southeast Asia – despite the pricey tickets. For instance, the cheapest Klook ticket bundle , which comes with two concert tickets and a room night in a 4-star hotel, reached $542 or almost P30,000.

“For a price point as high as that, sometimes you would think that demand will be very much affected. But that’s not true. We sold out in less than six hours,” Ho said on Tuesday, March 12. “People these days are willing to travel for new experiences, for experiences that they want to share with their loved ones.”

Revenge travel ‘still very much alive’

Looking at the overall tourism landscape, Ho also noted that 2023 was a “great year for tourism recovery.” In the past year, Klook’s bookings tripled while its gross sales figures grew by four times between 2022 and 2023.

Filipinos also seem to be spending more on travel, as the average basket size of consumers grew by 21% based on Klook’s 2024 Travel Pulse study. For international travel, most Filipinos have a budget ranging from P15,000 to P50,000 for their overall spending. For local destinations, the average Filipino’s budget ranges from P15,000 to P30,000 for a four to six day trip.

“One could argue that: is this only about price increases, interest rates going up? But we’ve seen a double-digit growth, above 21%,” Ho said. “So it’s not really that the travel budget has gone down. But it’s really more about being intentional of what they’ve purchased.”

Filipinos who traveled internationally in 2023 and early 2024 usually visited nearby destinations, the most popular ones being Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Thailand. Locally, the most visited destinations by Klook users were Tagaytay, Baguio, Batangas, Boracay, and Palawan.

Ho said that the results of their study showed revenge travel was “still very much alive,” with 92% of survey respondents saying they have plans to travel domestically in 2024 and 76% saying they have plans to travel internationally this year.

“People are traveling more. People are not choosing between domestic or international. They’re going for both if they can.” – Rappler.com

Taylor Swift, ‘Eras’ tour shatters highest-grossing tour milestone

I t was inevitable that Taylor Swift and her “ Eras” tour was going to become the highest-grossing concert tour ever. She beat out the likes of Elton John , Coldplay, and U2 for the honor. And the tour isn’t over yet.

In a new report from the BBC, they reveal that Swift’s “Eras” tour has sold 11 million tickets. That has resulted in an estimated £1.7 billion in estimated revenue (that’s over $2.1 billion USD). These numbers come across the 152 dates that Swift has planned for the tour across 22 countries.

This makes the “Eras” tour the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. It’s on pace to gross over $2 billion when it’s all said and done. This is a stark contrast from her “Reputation” tour, which reportedly failed to sell out in the UK. BBC cites a report that said that Swift’s opening night in Manchester had 18,000 empty seats. These days, it’s nearly impossible to spot one.

To make the figures even more impressive, the “Eras” tour haul doesn’t even include merchandise sales or the theatrical box office haul of Swift’s concert film. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was released mid-tour in October 2023 and grossed over $260 million at the box office (the highest-grossing concert film of all time).

The “Eras” tour

On March 17, 2023, Swift kicked off her sixth concert tour. The “Eras” tour is her most ambitious tour to date — Swift takes fans on a three-hour journey through her discography throughout the 45-song set.

She spent most of 2023 playing shows across North America before making her way to Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

In 2024, Swift resumed the tour with shows in Japan, Australia, and Singapore before taking another break. On May 9, 2024, Swift picked up the tour with a European leg of the “Eras” tour.

This current leg of the tour will conclude with a five-night stay at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Swift will then return to North America and play shows in Florida, Louisiana, and Indiana.

To close out the “Eras” tour, Swift will go to Canada. Nine dates are planned across Toronto and Vancouver. The final shows will take place from December 6-9 in Vancouver.

Who is Taylor Swift?

Taylor Swift is one of the highest-selling artists of all time. She is decorated with accolades and awards.

Thus far in her career, Swift has received 52 Grammy Award nominations. She has won 14 awards and is coming off of a year in which she won two awards — Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights.

At the ceremony, Swift announced her eleventh album of original music, The Tortured Poets Department. This was her follow-up to Midnights and a break from her re-recorded work. An extended version of the album came out hours after the original album with 15 more tracks.

In addition to her original music, Swift has spent a lot of the last few years re-recording her past work released by Big Machine Records. She began the (Taylor’s Version) series in 2021 with a re-recorded version of Fearless. She subsequently re-recorded Red, Speak Now, and 1989.

The only albums left for Swift to re-record are Reputation and her self-titled debut album.

Taylor Swift Announces Even More International Eras Tour Dates: 'I Can't Wait'

The "Lavender Haze" singer will perform in Europe, Asia and Australia in 2024

the eras tour philippines

Taylor Swift is taking her Eras Tour across the pond and around the world!

On Tuesday, the "Anti Hero" singer unveiled a slew of international shows in 2024 in Europe, Asia and Australia.

After a break in December and January, the tour will kick back up again in Tokyo, Japan — and will follow with stops in major cities like Melbourne, Australia; Sydney, Australia; Singapore; Paris; Stockholm, Sweden; Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; Lyon, France; Edinburgh, Scotland; Liverpool, United Kingdom; Cardiff, U.K.; London; Dublin; Amsterdam; Zürich; Milan; Gelsenkirchen, Germany; Hamburg, Germany; Munich; Warsaw and Vienna. She'll wrap the tour with two final shows in London in August 2024.

Sabrina Carpenter , who released her latest album,  Emails I Can't Send , last year, will join Swift on the road as her  opening act across all dates, including the previously announced Latin American shows .

"EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️ I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!" Swift, 33, wrote on Instagram.

The new dates come after Swift announced her first international leg in Latin America earlier this month. At the time, she teased that there were "LOTS more international dates to come soon, promise!"

For more information on ticket sales visit TaylorSwift.com/tour .

Swift is currently midway through the U.S. dates of her Eras Tour, and will continue this weekend with two shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She kicked things off in March and is set to wrap this leg in Los Angeles on Aug. 9.

Her shows have been  star-studded affairs , with everyone from  Miles Teller ,  Drew Barrymore ,  Reese Witherspoon  and  Paul Rudd  stepping out to catch her three-hour-long sets.

Swift is gearing up for the July 7 release of  Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , which will include six brand-new songs from the vault.

Earlier this month, a report from Fortune predicted that the Eras tour could potentially  generate $4.6 billion for local economies  throughout the U.S. based on how much ticket holders are spending to attend each show.

Meanwhile, stars like Flavor Flav revealed that they planned to catch the Eras Tour twice .

"Before I met Taylor Swift, I’ve always been a big fan of her music anyway, though," Flav told TMZ of their first encounter at the  iHeartRadio Awards in March .

"Just like I'm a big fan of  Christina Aguilera , or  Gwen Stefani , or I love me some  Miley Cyrus . You know what I'm sayin'? You’ll find me at their concerts, too. And a lot of people thought it was kind of weird seeing me at a Taylor Swift concert, I guess because of my age... But, you know, when it comes down to music, it has no age. Music don't have no age."

Every Viral Moment From Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’: Ghosts, Babies, Conspiracy Theories and More

The Most Viral Moments From Taylor Swift The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift ’s The Eras Tour has made headlines not only for its record-breaking global success but also for its plethora of viral moments.

Swift kicked off her most ambitious concert tour yet with back-to-back shows in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023. Her second night of performances gave fans one of the first viral moments of the tour as static electricity caused her hair to stand up while on stage at State Farm Stadium.

“She’s electrifying,” one fan commented on a March 2023 TikTok clip of the hilarious moment, while another used one of her Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) vault songs to poke fun at Swift’s locks. “Electric Touch (ft. Humidity) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault),” the user wrote.

Another fan captioned more footage of the hair-rising performance, “Staticky hair Taylor is a Taylor I didn’t know I needed 😂.”

Scroll down to see more of the most viral moments from The Eras Tour so far, from security guard incidents to backstage PDA and more:

Pocket the Security Guard

Swifties were obsessed with a security guard named Pocket who danced her heart out to “Blank Space” at one of Swift’s March 2023 shows. “No one worked harder this weekend than this iconic security guard, Pocket 😹,” one TikTok user captioned a clip of Pocket rocking out in an aisle between seats.

‘Bad Blood’ With a Security Guard

Swift made headlines for defending a fan from an aggressive security guard during a May 2023 show. “She’s fine,” the singer yelled at the staff member while singing “Bad Blood.” Throughout the song’s chorus, Swift told the security guard, “She wasn’t doing anything,” and yelled, “Hey, stop!” before walking to the other side of the stage.

The moment has since become a fan chant, with some concertgoers shouting “Hey, stop!” during the number.

The Most Viral Moments From Taylor Swift The Eras Tour

The ‘Rainiest Rain Show’

Swift is known lover of rain shows, but her second night in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in May 2023 was unlike any rain show she’s experienced. “This is the rainiest rain show that ever rain showed, ever, ever, ever,” she declared during her surprise songs acoustic set, per social media footage .

Questioning whether her soaked guitar was going to work, she added, “No one ever expects you’re gonna basically perform, like, in a shower. It’s really very exciting.”

Haunted piano.

Swift’s acoustic set piano had a mind of its own during her third night in Foxborough in May 2023. “It rained a lot last night, like a monsoon. To be exact, it rained for three-and-a-half hours straight and it just kept getting more and more rain,” she explained before her piano keys began to make noise.

“Did you hear that?” she asked fans before the piano’s keys played several more notes. “I’m just gonna do another song on guitar. That’s insane.”

Swiftquakes

Swifties jammed out so hard at Eras Tour concerts that they caused earthquakes in multiple cities. CNN reported that Swift’s July 2023 shows in Seattle created a 2.3 magnitude earthquake. A March 2024 study by The Los Angeles Times revealed that there were “distinct harmonic tremors” following the tour’s August 2023 L.A. concerts .

The Most Viral Moments From Taylor Swift The Eras Tour

Flipping Out

Fans freaked out when Swift brought out the stars of her “I Can See You” music video during a July 2023 stop in Kansas City. Her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner made a particularly memorable entrance on stage as he waved at concertgoers before running and doing flips down the stage’s walkway.

“Taylor Lautner doing a backflip on Taylor Swift’s stage was not on my 2023 bingo card,” a fan hilariously captioned a clip of the moment via X .

‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ Madness

Swifties highly suspected the “Style” singer would announce the re-recorded version of her album 1989 at her August 2023 L.A. concerts. Swift played into the speculation by debuting new blue outfits during the show’s Speak Now , Folklore , and 1989 sections. She confirmed the theories were correct by dropping the cover art and release date for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) during her surprise songs set.

The concert also marked her last U.S. show on the first leg of The Eras Tour . To celebrate, she excited backstage with a glass of wine in hand .

Boots Not Made for Walking

Swift kicked off one of her November 2023 shows in Rio de Janeiro on a funny note after breaking one of her bejeweled Christian Louboutin boots during the concert’s opening Lover set. She ripped off the broken heel and threw it into the crowd before powering through the rest of the set on her tiptoes.

“She stands on tiptoe, with a broken heel, like a real-life Barbie🫢,” one fan captioned footage of the moment via X .

Plane Fly-Over

A hilarious coincidence occurred during one of the tour’s November 2023 Buenos Aires shows. While singing the “Labyrinth” lyrics, “I thought the plane was going down / How’d you turn it right around?,” during the secret songs set, an actual plane flew over the stadium as if on cue.

Swift shared the moment via Instagram , hilariously captioning the clip, “Never beating the sorcery allegations ✨🛬✨.”

The Paris Floor Baby

Fans were shocked when photos circulated online of someone’s baby being placed on the floor at one of the tour’s May 2024 Paris shows. A spokesperson for the venue, the La Défense Arena, told Page Six at the time that the “general terms and conditions of sale stipulate that all minors (without any age limit) holding a ticket for a concert at Paris La Défense arena must be accompanied by an adult.”

Related: Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: Every Celebrity Attendee

The statement continued: “Under 18 children remain under their legal guardian responsibility, it’s venue policy. For spectators with a young child on the floor, an alternative seating arrangement has been proposed but refused by ticket holders.”

‘Talk Amongst Yourselves’

Swift briefly paused her secret songs set at a May 2024 Stockholm show due to a wardrobe malfunction. Rather than sit in silence, she encouraged fans to “talk amongst yourselves” while a crew member came on stage to help fix her situation.

Footage from a June 2024 show in Madrid featuring an eerie figure standing alone in the stadium rafters circulated online. Swifties quickly began theorizing who or what the shadowy ghostlike person could be.

Travis Kelce Kisses

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce , has supported Swift at several Eras Tour shows and is often seen dancing in the stands before sharing backstage kisses with the pop star. They shared their first backstage PDA moment after one of Swift’s November 2023 Buenos Aires shows, during which Swift famously swapped the lyrics of her closing number “Karma” from “guy on the screen” to “guy on the Chiefs,” a reference to his NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Per fan social media footage , Swift was seen running into Kelce’s arms before pulling him in for a kiss.
