Villa Kouru offers three separate and independent villa buildings with a total of five beautiful bedrooms, luxurious living space, and a sumptuous swimming pool, in an exclusive residence of 2,500 square meters. The first and the second villa buildings consist of two bedrooms each and the third houses a one bedroom suite. Villa Kouru can be rented entirely or per suite in different combinations.

The entire complex comfortably accommodates groups of up to ten people, served by butlers and housekeepers, security and a manager who are eager to fulfill every need guests may have.

Villa Kouru stands within lush tropical gardens, which are in turn surrounded by picturesque rice terraces, guaranteeing a peaceful rural setting, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Yet it is but a ten-minute walk from the local beach and village. A car and driver are available on request.

The finest facilities, peaceful location, and dedicated staff all combine to make Villa Kouru the perfect choice for the ‘taste of paradise’ luxury Bali holiday of your dreams.

VILLA ROSITA BALI

Outdoor Area

Entrance & Parking Villa Rosita has its own private drive and entrance, with parking for up to two cars.

Garden To the rear of Villa Rosita is a relaxing and peaceful garden area with koi fish pond and “bale” (Balinese gazebo), ideal to relax and forget the worries of the world.

Pool and Jacuzzi To the front of Villa Rosita is our magnificent infinity pool and outdoor jacuzzi, equipped with sun-loungers and with views out over the beach to the ocean and horizon in the distance. The pool, jacuzzi and other facilities at Villa Rosita are all entirely private and for your use as guests only.

Living Areas

Living Room The living room occupies most of the ground floor, and has large screen TV, and full music system, that can play both inside and outside of Villa Rosita. Comfortable sofas are great for socialising or for just sitting back and enjoying the view.

Dining Room The main dining area is also on the ground floor of Villa Rosita. With seating for up to 10 guests (although chairs can be added if you are more) and also enjoying the wonderful ocean views that can be seen from almost all parts of Villa Rosita.

Kitchen Villa Rosita has a fully equipped kitchen including coffee machine, fridge and freezer. Villa Rosita is a fully serviced villa, and so food and drink is provided. High quality meals are able to be prepared by our in-villa chef and his assistants for only the actual cost of groceries, plus a 20% villa charge. The charge covers the grocery expenses that do not have a receipt, such as transport fuel and maintaining a stock of basic ingredients.

Conveniently located just off the lounge, with wonderful sea views. King sized double bed and lots of space. As with all our bedrooms, also with large screen TV and access to our library of movies, series and music, and ensuite bathroom with bath.

Upstairs Ocean View Main Double Bedroom

At the front of Villa Rosita with its own balcony, and fantastic panoramic views out to the sea. This is the largest bedroom in Villa Rosita, with lounge area and fitted wardrobes, and the ensuite bathroom also has a hot jacuzzi bath.

Upstairs Ocean View Double Bedroom

Also at the front of Villa Rosita with a balcony, and the same great ocean views as the Main bedroom.

Upstairs Volcano & Garden View Bedroom

To the rear of Villa Rosita, with picturesque views out over the garden and the rice fields to Mount Agung, the largest volcano in Bali, in the distance. Can be set up as a double or twin bedroom – private ensuite bathroom.

To the rear of Villa Rosita, with the same great volcano views as Bedroom 4. King-sized Double bedroom with balcony – Adjoins Bedroom 6 via the shared bathroom.

Upstairs Bunk Bed Bedroom

Stand-alone bedroom with private entrance and two adult sized bunk beds. Shares the bathroom with Bedroom 5, so it is ideal for families with kids, but also able to be used by adults. This room is not included in the Standard Rate for 10 guests.

Upstairs Twin/Double Bedroom

Fully equipped double/twin bedroom with own private ensuite bathroom. No views, but still a nice room. This room however is not included in the Standard Rate for 10 guests.

Other Sleeping Options

We have good quality extra beds, and also a cot bed for infants that can be put into any of the main 5 bedrooms upon request, although additional charges may apply. If you require additional beds or cots then please let us know, as there are options to hire further beds and bedding if requested by guests.

Villa Rosita has a separate gym located in the garden, with treadmill, cycling machine and weights, as well as TV.

Games Room and Pool Table

Next to the gym is our Games Room, with seating and pool table, ideal for relaxing.

Information

Every bedroom at Villa Rosita has its own private ensuite bathroom.

The ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom has a jacuzzi bath, and the ensuite to bedroom 1 also has its own bath (and separate shower).

Why do I have to pay a deposit for my Bali Villa?

To reserve your villa in Bali (and prevent anyone else from renting it for your exact travel dates), we require a 50% non-refundable deposit, which is the only way to hold the Bali villa for you securely. We recommend you take out holiday insurance (you probably will anyway), but a friendly reminder that unforeseen circumstances can change your holiday plans. You may wonder why hotels don’t require a deposit, yet we do at Bali Villa Escapes. This is because a hotel can rent many rooms and generally only operate at 80% occupancy. But with a villa, especially in Bali, demand is so high for Bali Villas in Seminyak or Canggu Bali villas that if we block the villa dates, we prevent other people from renting the villa. And, if you decide to cancel, the villa owners lose out. So, the only fair way is to make the deposit non-refundable.

When is the final amount due for the villa?

The last payment is generally due one month before arriving at the villa. If you do not pay this amount by the due date (and we will remind you) of the deposit, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-rent the villa to other travellers. And you do forfeit the deposit.

How much does it cost to stay in a villa in Bali?

A private pool, 1 or 2-bedroom. Bali villas start at AUD$90-120 per night, but this price can vary depending on the time of year you intend to travel and its proximity to the beach.

Villa prices can also vary depending on the additional services you require. For example, if you want a private chef, butler, chauffeur car, concierge service, and breakfast included, this all adds to the nightly rate of a villa rental in Bali. And, if you want large Bali villas or wedding villas in Bali with more than 5 or 6 bedrooms near the beach or with ocean views, the average price is about AUD$1500 per night.

How do I pay the security deposit?

Because we are an Australian agency for Bali holiday villas in Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu and Ubud, we want to make paying for your villa as easy as possible. So, we offer two simple options. You can pay instantly via credit card or EFT into a Westpac Australia Bank account. Bali Villa Escapes is a registered Australian Company with ABN: 68 641 939 737 – so you can confidently book. We know and understand that there are some unscrupulous operators and travel scams online. However, to reassure you, you only need to Google us or read our  TrustPilot reviews to see that we are a long-standing, legitimate business.

How to get support for existing villa bookings

To manage a booking made with Bali Villa Escapes, contact your villa account manager with whom you made the original booking via email in the first instance. They will have all your documentation and be able to assist you quickly.

Do you inspect all the villas in Bali?

Of course we do! Our quality control team has inspected every Bali villa we list on this website to ensure it meets our high standards, and these checks are regularly made throughout the year.

Are there any additional costs for renting my Bali villa?

When you book with Bali Villa Escapes, we will send you a complete cost breakdown so there are no hidden fees or nasty surprises. But, of course, we would hate that as much as you, so we are completely transparent with our pricing – even the 3% processing fee for the credit card, which many other agencies won’t disclose.

The only exception to this is either:

• You decide to change the travel dates and go from low to peak season
• You choose to add extras like a BBQ dinner, hire a chef to cook breakfast for the family, a couple of cases of Bintangs on your arrival, a pool fence or perhaps a diver and car throughout your stay in the villa. And we will always quote you for this upfront before proceeding. It’s important to stress these are optional extras.

Do the villa managers speak English?

We are in Bali, Indonesia, so English is not their primary language. But, most villa managers will be able to speak English, and you will be able to communicate with them easily.

Are the Bali villas suitable for children?

90% of our Australian customers are families or groups of families coming to Bali, so most of our villas in Bali to rent are child-friendly. However, if the villa isn’t suited for children or young teenagers, we will let you know and find alternative accommodation. If you love the villa and want to stay there, we can make it child-friendly by installing a pool fence, high chairs, cots, etc. You can view our range of Bali family villas .

Can food or drink be delivered to your villa?

If you’re arriving late the first night and fancy a snack or don’t feel like going to the supermarket as soon as you arrive, the best thing to do is order some food to be delivered to the villa. And, during your holiday, you can have as many meals delivered as you like. A few online apps, such as Grab or Go Jek, provide this service. These services can also deliver beer, wine and spirits directly to the villa.

Will the pool be safe for kids in the Bali villa?

We define a swimming pool in the villa to be child safe when it has one or more of the following features covered:

• Safety cover
• Fenced or gated
• Alarm or CCTV

Every villa in Bali is different, and while nearly all villas have a swimming pool, most villas are without a pool fence, as Indonesian law building laws do not stipulate that you have to build a pool with a fence. If a pool fence is your priority and concern, let your villa consultant know so we can organise a pool fence or safety cover before you arrive at the villa.

Having an unforgettable dinner party at your villa is an absolute breeze with our top-notch chef service. Our chefs will take care of the entire evening (including buying the boxes of Bintangs and wine) so you can sit back and enjoy the whole evening. They will bring all the necessary food, cook and serve the dinner and even clean up afterwards. The cost for this service is generally on a per-person basis based on a set menu.

Do the villas have air conditioning?

Almost all our villas in Bali have air conditioning. Some older Bali-style joglo villas may not have air-conditioning, with only a ceiling fan and non-enclosed living areas. If air conditioning is a must-have, all you need to do is let one of the reservation staff know when inquiring, and we’ll ensure we only show you villas that allow you to chill out in cool comfort.

What are usual check-in/check-out hours? Is this flexible?

Check-in is usually from 3 p.m., and you can check-out by midday on the day of departure – please note some villa owners may apply charges outside of these hours. If your departure is late at night to Australia, ask us about storing your luggage at the villa before you’re ready to depart for Bali airport.

Bali Villa Escapes urges guests travelling to Bali to take out travel insurance in case of a theft at the villa (which is highly unlikely as the management has procedures in place to prevent accidents or theft of money, laptops, phones, jewellery and clothes) or an accident; this includes insurance for children under 18 years of age. When you holiday at any of the properties marketed on this website, you do so at your own risk. Will there be information about local restaurants, transport, places to see and things to do in the villa?

Not always; most villas might have some pamphlets, or the villa manager might be able to help you out with transport and local restaurants and attractions, but we encourage you to do your homework and learn about the area before you arrive. Who will be at the villa during our stay? What service can we expect?

All Bali villas come with a villa manager and daily housekeeping service, and they will clean all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas and replace bed linen and towels. There are also maintenance staff (in the rare case of any water leaks, plumbing or electrical issues), gardeners, and pool cleaners. Some higher-end villas will have an on-site chef, butler, security, car and drivers and, if we take it to the next level, a masseuse. You can see all inclusions on the villa page. The staff never sleep overnight at the villa and will most likely come in the morning for a few hours, clean the place and then leave you in privacy. If you require help, assistance or anything urgent, the villa manager is always contactable via WhatsApp.

Balinese Village Experience

Embark on an immersive experience into the daily lives of the Balinese; meet the locals, make your own offerings and receive a blessing at the Holy Water; one of Bali’s best kept secrets.

Part of the joy of travelling to a new destinations is learning about the culture and lifestyle of the original inhabitants of the land. This Balinese Village tour is more than just a series of photo opportunities, it is an immersive experience into the daily lives of the island’s villagers. You start your day at 8:00 am, when you’re picked-up by one of our professional drivers for your transfer you to the meeting point with your guide. Needless to say, your host belongs to the village and grew up there, and he can’t wait to let you experience the true Balinese Village Life.

Embark On a Balinese Village Tour

Set in the quaint and gorgeous Pacung Sangeh Village we will take you off the well beaten tourist track and let you enter into the real life of Balinese villagers. You will be welcomed into a real family compound in the village and be given a tour. During this excursion travellers learn about the family temple, the people who live there and the special celebrations that happen at this magical place. As this is a real home for many families you never know who will be there or what will be happening. There may be children running around or, when you’re lucky, a special ceremony taking place. The Art of Canang Sari

The Balinese ladies who live in the compound will prepare you a traditional morning tea consisting of Balinese cakes, fruits, fresh coconuts & Bali Kopi. After morning tea you will experience making Canang Sari – the daily offerings made each day by the Balinese Hindus – some ladies make hundreds of these each day. Lunch With a View

For lunch you will visit a village Warung (small local restaurant), which is located amongst the rice fields and serves traditional Balinese and Indonesian dishes. You will get to choose two dishes from the menu and a drink of your choice. Enjoy the endless rice field views and the warm, local hospitality. All of the food is prepared fresh on the spot and can be as spicy or mild as you request. After lunch, you will visit the Village Holy Water site, the only Holy Water site in Bali that has a waterfall and Hidden Canyon. Receive a Blessing at the Holy Water​

Before entering the Holy Water site you will be dressed in a sarong and a sash. Using the offerings you made earlier today in the village, you receive a traditional blessing at the temple. For those willing to get wet, you can also experience a full cleansing ritual in the Holy Water. This includes visiting the Hidden Canyon and immersing yourself in the waterfall of the Holy Water. Patrons are guided through this practice, something many locals come to the Holy Water site to do often. The Balinese Hindus believe this ritual helps to cure disease and purify the aura and karma of past lives. After your ceremony you will have the chance to change before heading back to your resort/villa.

Know Before You Go

This experience gives you a great insight into what life is like for the Balinese people who live out of the tourist zones. You get to see what their day to day life is like and familiarise yourself with the practices of the Hindu people.

Transportation, the aforementioned morning tea, lunch and all activities are included in our unique Balinese Village Tour. We highly recommend you to bring a change of clothes, your swimwear and a towel, if you wish to have a cleansing ceremony), a hat and sunscreen, and extra money in case you wish to purchase extra drinks or snacks along the way. And, as you can see from this article, there are plenty of photo moments, so don’t forget your camera.
