Zach Bryan to preview new album at a bar near you: Where to hear 'The Great American Bar Scene'

Zach Bryan is debuting selected cuts from his new album at bars across the country, including Tennessee, starting next week.

Selected songs from Bryan's upcoming album "The Great American Bar Scene" will be played at 23 bars across U.S. starting June 24. The album will be released on July 4.

One of the bars selected is Fox & Locke in Franklin, Tennessee. The previews will also reach 14 other states and Ontario, Canada.

In a post on X/Twitter , Bryan wrote, "As much as I'd kill to play all of these timeless bars, it won't be possible. I will be visiting a few off the list to have a drink with y'all."

So far, Bryan has released one song from the upcoming LP, "Pink Skies." He has also been previewing the title track on his "Quittin' Time Tour."

Morgan Wallen, a titan of contemporary country music, is in the middle of his One Night At A Time 2024 tour.

Hailed by critics as an influential moment in the industry, the 11-time Billboard Music Awards-winner will not only perform for audiences across the United States but also make his long-awaited European debut.

An American country music singer and songwriter, Wallen competed in the sixth season of The Voice – originally as a member of Usher’s team, but later as a member of Adam Levine ‘s team.

Wallen’s third studio album, One Thing At A Time , shattered records with 19 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart which surpassed the legendary Garth Brooks ‘ Ropin’ the Wind for the most weeks at the summit for a country album. The album was the most-streamed on Spotify in 2023.

The One Night At A Time 2024 tour has been awarded Pollstar and Billboard’s 2023 Country Tour of the Year, with tickets bought by over 2.4 million fans.

Zach Bryan once release a surprise live album on Christmas Day. So for his next long-awaited studio album, why not keep the tradition of holiday drops alive? “The Great American Bar Scene,” a new release Bryan has been teasing for a while, now has a release date — the 4th of July.

The singer-songwriter made the announcement via a social media post Thursday evening. He offered the date for the album release at the end of a graphic that went into his plan to offer 23 bars across the country early access to some of the album tracks. Those bars will be getting the early Bryan music June 24, 10 days ahead of the album launch.

He added in a photo caption, “A preface to the record is coming soon. Thank you guys and I am blown away daily. I am the most blessed man on the planet and from everyone that worked on this record: we love you more than words could say.”

On Thursday night, Bryan headlined a stadium in Detroit, Ford Field. He joined his hand-picked opening act, Jason Isbell, for a song during the latter’s set, making a duet out of Isbell’s “King of Oklahoma.” Bryan is an Okie himself, and didn’t seem to mind that Isbell’s song paints a not-too-flattering portrait of what desperate men in the state might get up to.

If anyone wondered just how big of an influence Isbell has been on Bryan, the younger star set the record straight. “I met my only hero on this planet this evening. Shit my pants twice,” Bryan posted in his Instagram story along with a clip of the two of them singing “King of Oklahoma.” “Thank you for letting me ruin your song Jason; it was a privilege having you (or you having us).”

Zach Bryan Announced The Release Date Of His Album, ‘The Great American Bar Scene,’ His Third In Three Years

If you’re going to call your album The Great American Bar Scene , playing it in bars ahead of its release is one heck of a way to promote o. Zach Bryan just announced the release date for his fifth studio album, and along with it, the 23 cities getting a chance to hear the album early. While the country star is already on his Quittin’ Time Tour hitting arenas across the country, starting June 24th, a slew of “timeless bars” across the nation will be playing select songs from the album before its release on July 4th.

In a message on Instagram, Bryan wrote:

My intent with all this is to give everyone an early glimpse of this album, but more importantly, this is in the spirit of bringing people together for a memorable moment. I have chose(n) 23 bars across the country that embody the spirit of American culture. These bars will play select cuts from ‘The Great American Bar Scene’ starting June 24th. As much as I’d kill to play all these timeless bars, it won’t be possible. I will be visiting a few off the list to have a drink with ya’ll. ‘The Great American Bar Scene’ will be released on July 4th. With love from the road, ZB.

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.

Megan Thee Stallion Raps Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" During Los Angeles Show

The Grammy-winning rapper performed at the Los Angeles stop of her 'Hot Girl Summer Tour' just two days after Lamar's 'Pop Out' concert.

Megan Thee Stallion popped out and showed Los Angeles a good time during the latest stop of her first headlining Hot Girl Summer Tour.

Two days after Kendrick Lamar 's historic Pop Out: Ken & Friends show in Inglewood, Meg performed at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, where she showed love to K. Dot's chart-topping single "Not Like Us." The Mustard -produced West Coast anthem was played between GloRilla and Megan's sets, while the latter playfully rapped and twerked to the song during her performance.

Clips from the show highlight Meg's alliance with Kendrick in his feud against Drake . But Megan Thee Stallion is more than a bystander in this fight. Many credit the Houston rapper with igniting hip-hop's current hostility towards Drizzy.

While the two were once friendly, Meg's issues with Drake began in 2022 when the Toronto rapper slighted her on multiple occasions after she was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez . In one instance, Drake disrespected Megan on Her Loss track "Circo Loco," rapping “This bitch lie ’bout getting shots but she still a stallion.” He has also publicly called for Tory to be released from prison .

At the time she seemingly responded to "Circo Loco" and Drake on Twitter, writing, “remember all y’all hoe ass favorite rappers that stood behind a N**** that SHOT A FEMALE.” But it wasn't until her 2024 track "Hiss" that she truly got her lick back.

According to Genius , on the single she raps: " These n****s hate on BBLs and be walkin' 'round with the same scars" and "Cosplay gangsters, fake-ass accents / Posted in another n**** hood like a bad bitch."

These bars and others are interpreted as shots against Drake, inspiring industry-wide attacks on the 6 God, such as Metro Boomin's "BBL Drizzy" and Kendrick's war with the same "bad bitch."

"You know I got language barriers, huh / There's no accent you can sell me," he raps on "Euphoria."

While Kendrick and Meg haven't yet connected on wax, the Compton rapper once gave her a shout on 2021 single "Family Ties" with Baby Keem , rapping, "Show my ass and take y'all to class / I can multitask like Megan, brother."

We're less than a week away from Megan Thee Stallion's latest release, her Megan album slated to drop June 28. On Friday, June 21, Meg shared the project's tracklist, which includes features from UGK, Victoria Monet, and others.

When  Taylor Swift  released her soft, folky pair of 2020 lockdown albums –  Folklore  and  Evermore  – it was reasonable to think she was slowly exiting her maximalist pop star phase and settling into her thirties with less yearning for the spotlight.

Instead, in the four years since the albums’ release, she has put out six more albums, including four as part of an ongoing re-recording series, and become more of an omnipresent cultural force than ever before.

With the most dedicated and rabid fanbase on earth behind her, Swift’s mantra of late has been that more is better, and it’s served her both for better and for worse. On the downside, it bloated her 11 th  studio album,  The Tortured Poets Department , to an unnecessary 31 songs, but it’s also led her to The Eras Tour , one of the decade’s biggest cultural moments so far.

For  Folklore  and  Evermore , Swift sits atop a mossy cabin, while the new  Tortured Poets Department  section sees her go full Broadway, reanimated from a slumber by her effervescent backing dancers – dressed as mimes – before album highlight “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

As well as a marvel of songwriting and creativity, The Eras Tour is also astonishing for Swift’s pure stamina. Though she exits the stage for costume changes in between each era, she is rarely out of view for more than a minute at a time across the three-and-a-half hour show, before popping up and gliding her way across the huge stage and walkways again, never letting her voice suffer as a result. A swarm of dancers surround her at all times, inhabiting her past selves excellently: it makes for a brilliant feat of acting as well as live performance.

By design, very little about The Eras Tour is casual though. No artist alive has the ability to dive so deep into their own lore and pull it off on such a massive scale. With countless easter eggs, a wonderful and warming culture of outfit creation, and stage production on a scale rarely seen, the tour is a cultural behemoth just like Swift. It’s hard to tell yet whether these shows will mark the end of Swift’s imperial, ubiquitous phase, but whether she retreats into the shadows now or not, this will surely go down as the apex of her startling career.

Jason Kelce Was Spotted In A UK Pub Hours Before Taylor Swift's London Eras Tour Performance

There's been an official sighting!

The retired NFL star, who was dressed down in his signature cargo shorts and flip flops, was photographed alongside wife Kylie Kelce while at the pub in London.

"Jason Kelce in London??? oh tonight is about to go OFF," a user wrote via X (formerly known as Twitter).

The couple reportedly dined and drank at the Ship Tavern in Holborn, Central London. It's described as a "mahogany-panelled 16th century pub with [a] traditional real-ale bar and upstairs dining room."

Fans quickly flooded social media with their thoughts on Jason's trip across the pond.

"Give me jason kelce shirtless, drunk, and shouting the lyrics to style," one person joked, while another added, "I Just KNOW we're about to get so many new Jason Kelce memes in the VIP tent oh boy."

"Idk what I'm more excited for, the concert or seeing Jason Kelce reactions during the concert," a third person wrote.

Shortly after rumors began circulating the internet, it was confirmed that both Jason, Kylie, and Travis Kelce were all present in the VIP tent at Wembley, Entertainment Tonight reports. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seen in a cowboy hat and tan cargo pants (taking a cue from Jason, perhaps), and Jason was even spotted signing autographs. Travis brought along his pal Ross Travis too, who has previously attended the Eras Tour with Swift's boyfriend.

The Kelce brothers London appearance comes just days after they promoted their New Heights podcast in Cannes, France. Travis had previously hinted at his plans for Swift's London shows in April too.

"Oh, you know I gotta go support. You know it," he told a reporter. "Man, I'll tell you what. The London shows, I think she's at Wembley eight times, which is mind-blowing that she can do that many shows in one stadium and fill that thing up," he gushed. "I played at Wembley once and I don't even think we filled that thing up."
