Bravo Tours' golfverden – en verden fuld af muligheder

For mere end 20 år siden sendte vi de første golfgæster afsted ud i vores store golfverden. En verden, der siden har vokset sig større og større – både hvad angår antallet af rejsende, ferieformer og nye, spændende rejsemål. Derfor er vi også stolte af, at vi i dag præsenterer næsten alle former for golfferier: Matchture, træningsture, weekendture, individuelle rejser og færdigpakkede golfture med hotel, golf og transport inkluderet. Med mere end 20 golfrejsemål i hele verden, er Bravo Tours i dag én af Danmarks foretrukne og allerstørste golfrejsearrangører.

Klubsamarbejde og grupperejser

Gennem de seneste år har vi etableret et tæt samarbejde med mere end 60 danske golfklubber! Et samarbejde vi er meget stolte af. Det betyder, vi kan være med til at tilbyde nogle fantastiske rejser til klubbernes medlemmer. Alle disse klubber arrangerer, sammen med Bravo Tours, specielle klubture i løbet af året – så hold øje med opslagstavlen i din lokale klub. Golfrejser til hele verden

Vi tilbyder golf i hele verden! Inden for Europas grænser har vi nogle af verdens bedste golfdestinationer. Den korte flyvetid er attraktiv, hvis du kun vil afsted en forlænget weekend. På mange af vores rejsemål er der dog så mange attraktive golfbaner, at du med garanti ikke kommer til at kede dig, uanset om du rejser tre dage, en uge eller to uger. På alle rejsemål kan du tilkøbe greenfees til banerne, når du bestiller en pakkerejse. Men du kan selvfølgelig også rejse på decideret golfferie, hvor golfen er det primære formål. Portugal Algave i Portugal er kåret til Europas bedste golfdestination i 2021 – og det er ikke uden grund! Med mere end 30 førsteklassesbaner og et mildt klima året rundt, er du sikker på udfordrende og gode golfoplevelser – kombineret med smuk natur og skøn mad naturligvis. I vores store udvalg til Algarve finder du mange golfresorts, hvor du bor lige ved golfbanen. Lidt nord for De Kanariske Øer ligger den portugisiske ø, Madeira. Den naturskønne perle har to golfbaner, hvor du virkelig får fornøjelse af de smukke udsigter ud over øen og det endeløse Atlanterhavet. Lidt længere mod øst ligger endnu en portugisisk øgruppe, Azorerne. Helt eksklusivt rejser du med Bravo Tours direkte til Azorerne. Her kan du kombinere ubegrænset golf med storslåede naturoplevelser på de frodige øer. Bulgarien Det er måske ikke Bulgarien, de fleste tænker på, når man snakker golfrejser. Men nær kystbyen Balchik ligger tre gode golfbaner, og et resort, hvor du kan slappe fuldstændigt efter en god dag med golf. Her får du meget for pengene og et luksuriøst resort. Tyrkiet Er du vild med de luksuriøse omgivelser, måske toppet med et fyldigt All Inclusive-program, skal du besøge Belek i Tyrkiet. Britiske golfbanearkitekter har arbejdet tæt sammen med det nationale turistministerium for at skabe et golfmekka i rivende udvikling. Hele 12 baner og gennemsnitstemperaturer på mellem 15-25 grader i vinterhalvåret er med til at forlænge din golfsæson væsentligt. Spanien Når vi taler golf i Europa, kommer vi ikke udenom Spanien. Costa del Sol er danskernes fortrukne golfdestination, og med Bravo Tours kan du besøge solkysten året rundt. 50 fantastiske baner og 325 årlige solskinsdage betyder en dejlig golfferie med meget lidt transporttid, uden at du skal gå på kompromis med variationen af baner. Bravo Tours har desuden forudbestilte starttider, så du er sikret de allerbedste tee tider. Mallorca – øen i midten af Middelhavet tilbyder også golf året rundt på mere end 20 golfbaner. Rejser du med nogen, som ikke selv spiller golf, eller vil du kombinere golfrejsen med store naturoplevelser, en spændende storby og gastronomiske eventyr, kan du trygt rejse til Mallorca. Her er der mange valgmuligheder for både at bo i lejligheder uden pension og på hotel med fuld forplejning. Den korte flyvetur gør Mallorca til det oplagte valg for en forlænget golfweekend. På De Kanariske Øer kan du ligeledes kombinere badeferie og lokale oplevelser med nogle anderledes, men fantastiske golfbaner. Øerne bærer præg af at være de golfglade briters foretrukne vinterrejsemål, og de har derfor nogle veletablerede og karakteristiske golfområder. Lanzarote har to baner, Fuerteventura har tre, mens både Gran Canaria og Tenerife kan bryste sig af fire forskellige golfbaner. Fælles for alle øerne er, at det er oplagt at kombinere golfen med strandferie, fascinerende ø-rundture eller opleve øerne med det evige forår i lejebil. Du kan besøge kanarieøerne året rundt, men de er særligt populære i vinterhalvåret med gennemsnittemperaturer på over 20 grader. Grækenland Mens Grækenland er en anerkendt destination for charterturister, så er det nok mindre kendt for golfspillere. Men et af Europas allerbedste golfresorts befinder sig faktisk på det græske fastland, nemlig Costa Navarino. Her kan du spille golf i omgivelser, der både emmer af historie og luksus. Thailand Golfrejser kan også kombineres med bounty-strande og pulserende storbyer i Thailand. Lav eksempelvis en kombinationsrejse med Bangkok og Hua Hin. Hua Hin har hele seks golfbaner, som du kan spille, når du ikke ligger i en hængekøje med en kokosnød-drink i hånden.

Bravo Tours er Danmarks største udbyder af golfrejser – såvel individuelle som grupperejser – og ikke mindst deres populære matchture og akademier.

Bravo Tours har partnerskab med 65 danske golfklubber, og vi er i Lemvig Golfklub med i kredsen.

Hvad betyder det så for dig? Ikke så meget, men til gengæld betyder det en hel del for klubben, og dermed også inddirekte for dig. Klubben får nemlig en provision for hver golfrejse dens medlemmer køber hos Bravo Tours.

Provisionen udgør for de første 50 rejsende kr. 100,- pr. rejsende. Bliver antallet fra 50 til 120 rejsende stiger det til kr. 150,- pr. rejsende, og hvis man kommer over 120 rejsende hele kr. 200,- pr. rejsende.  Provisionen er årlig.

Både klubben og Bravo Tours har således en stor interesse i, at klubbens medlemmer vælger Bravo Tours. Og hvorfor ikke?  Bravo Tours er kendt som en dygtig om seriøs rejseudbyder, og er i øvrigt Danmarks største udbyder af golfrejser. Kataloger m.m. findes i klubhuset, ligesom du af og til på hjemmesiden vil kunne finde tilbud fra dem.

Regions Tradition: How to watch, storylines to follow and more

This week, PGA TOUR Champions is in Birmingham, Alabama, for the Regions Tradition, the first of five senior major championships during the 2024 season.

The Champions Tour returns to Greystone Golf & Country Club for an eighth consecutive season where, should history serve as any indication, all signs point to Steve Stricker being a major contender once again this year. Not only has Stricker won this event three times, including the last two, but all three victories were by a margin of six strokes. Last year’s 23-under 265 supplanted the tournament’s low 72-hole score of 21-under 267 since moving to Greystone Golf & Country Club in 2016. Incidentally, that previous record Stricker replaced was the one he set in 2022.

This week's event will be contested over 72 holes compared to the typical 54-hole format on PGA TOUR Champions.

Vladimir Putin tours ‘Little Moscow’ as he trumpets deepening ties with China

Vladimir Putin kicked off his second day in China with a visit to Harbin city as the Russian president trumpets deeping economic and strategic ties between the two powerful neighbours.

Harbin in the northeastern Heilongjiang province, which borders Russia’s Far East , has deep social, economic and cultural ties with its neighbouring country. The city was once known as “Little Moscow ” for its substantial Russian population and cultural influence.

It remains a centre of Sino-Russian cooperation.

Mr Putin’s itinerary in Harbin includes attending the 8 th Russia-China Expo and the 4 th Russia-China Forum on Interregional Cooperation. He’s expected to be joined at these functions by his counterpart president Xi Jinping.

Mr Putin will also meet students and faculty at the Harbin Institute of Technology.

The Russian leader arrived in China for a state visit on Thursday. He met Mr Xi and signed a 7,000-word joint statement heralding a “new era” of partnership covering a range of political, economic and strategic interests.

The “no limits relationship”, as Moscow and Beijing have previously described it, is aimed at counterbalancing Western, especially American, influence in Asia and Europe.

The statement condemned the US and its allies for their “intimidation in the military sphere” against North Korea , which has strengthened its ties with Moscow in recent years and is accused of being a major supplier of weapons for Russia’s war in Ukraine . Mr Putin hosted leader North Korea’s Kim Jong-un last year .

On Thursday Mr Putin and Mr Xi also attended a gala celebration marking 75 years of diplomatic relations between their countries and gave speeches at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

“I am very sorry for talking for so long, not allowing the translator to speak,” Mr Putin said at one point during his speech. “I’m just feeling so much at home and thought that everybody understands Russian here.”

Mr Xi and Mr Putin spent some leisure time at Zhongnanhai, a government complex in Beijing similar to the US White House.

They strolled and held "in-depth exchanges on strategic issues of common concern" over a cup of tea, Chinese news agency Xinhua reported. The discussion included the Ukraine war.

Mr Xi bid Mr Putin goodbye with a hug as they concluded the first day of the Russian leader’s two-day visit.
