Taylor Swift Adds Extra Shows to Canadian Leg of Her ‘Eras Tour’

Taylor Swift Adds Extra Shows to Canadian Leg

All Taylor Swift had to do was stay — in Canada.

The singer, 33, took to social media on Thursday, November 2, to announce three additional dates for the international leg of her Eras Tour . The concerts will all take place at the BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, on December 6, 7 and 8, 2024, following six performances at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Gracie Abrams — who previously joined Swift on the first leg of the tour earlier this year — will return as opener for the added shows. “What did you say? 3 more Eras shows in Vancouver next year? lfg,” Abrams, 24, wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday alongside a photo of her and Swift.

Swift is currently on a break from touring after finishing up her first round of performances in August but will hit the road again on November 9 with shows in Argentina and Brazil. She’ll later perform in Asia, Europe and Australia before returning to the U.S. and Canada in October 2024.

Swift’s Eras Tour — in which she takes fans through every “era” of her 10-album discography — has proved to be a massive success. Earlier this month, Forbes released its list of top-earning summer concert tours, with Swift’s Eras Tour landing at No. 1 and its 56 U.S. shows earning $305 million after costs.

The tour’s profits — alongside the box-office smash that is her October concert film , Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour — have brought Swift to billionaire status, according to a Bloomberg News analysis conducted last month.

The analysis stated that Swift’s net worth is reportedly $1.1 billion and noted that she is “one of the few entertainers to reach that status based on music and performing alone, the result of work and talent, but also canny marketing and timing.” In breaking down her assets, Bloomberg reports that Swift’s music catalog is worth an estimated $400 million. Her other earnings include a reported $370 million in concert ticket sales and merchandise, $120 million in Spotify and YouTube streaming royalties, $110 million in real estate and $80 million in royalties from music sales.

While Bloomberg reported that Swift could potentially double her billionaire status if she were to sell off the rights to her catalog, that seems unlikely as the “Anti Hero” singer is in the process of rerecording her first six albums — a project she decided to embark on after her masters were sold to Scooter Braun in a 2016 acquisition with her former label, Big Machine Records. (Braun later sold the masters in 2020 to Shamrock Holdings for $405 million.)

Swift first announced her rerecording plans in August 2019, with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) being the first album to get Taylor’s Version  treatment in April 2021. Red (Taylor’s Version) and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) followed in October 2021 and July 2023, respectively, and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) hit shelves last month . Reputation  and her self-titled debut album are the only rerecordings left to be released.

“I’ve spoken a lot about why I’m remaking my first six albums, but the way I’ve chosen to do this will hopefully help illuminate where I’m coming from,” Swift wrote via Instagram in February 2021. “Artists should own their own work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really knows that body of work.”

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts

eras tour dates december

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.

And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."

So what does she do for an encore? Here's where the Eras Tour is headed next, adding two surprise songs to the set at each show. Here's a look at what she's played so far .

“I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!),” Taylor wrote in her official tour announcement. “I can’t WAIT to see your gorgeous faces out there. It’s been a long time coming 🥰.”

The announcement comes after Taylor teased a potential tour during her October 24, 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon . When Jimmy says she hasn’t toured in four years and that fans want her to, Taylor said “I think I should do it.” And do it, she will.

Here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift’s Eras Stadium Tour, from its setlist to how you can snag tickets and merch. Of course, we’ll keep all the updates coming as Taylor hits the road.

When and where did Taylor Swift’s tour start?

The North American leg of the Eras Stadium Tour kicked off at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on March 17, 2023. The city of Glendale fully embraced the honor of hosting her first Eras concert — in fact, Mayor Jerry P. Weiers of Glendale even declared that the city would temporarily be renamed Swift City for the duration of Taylor's performances on March 17th and 18th.

Mayor Weiers gave the official announcement at a press conference and made sure to incorporate plenty of T. Swift-themed puns, noting that all Swifties are encouraged to share their smiles “that could light up this whole town” on all social media platforms because “the best people in life are free.”

The U.S. Eras tour will end with a grand finale at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on August 9, 2023.

Which cities is Taylor Swift playing the Eras Tour?

After kicking off the tour in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor hit a ton of different cities in the U.S., from Foxborough, Massachusetts to East Rutherford, New Jersey. She initially shared the official tour dates on November 1, 2022, but she soon added eight more dates due to high demand (!!).

But, eight more shows still wasn’t enough due to increased demand, so Taylor Nation announced that 17 (!!) additional shows were added to the Eras Tour. “She gave us 8 shows last week, honey, but we want ‘em all. Due to unprecedented demand for tickets to #TSTheErasTour , Taylor has added 17 more shows in the US!,” her official fan club wrote.

And then, because Taylor is so good to us, she added one more new show in Los Angeles in the Sofi Stadium for September 7, 2023. See all her official tour dates listed below, including her incredible lineup of supporting acts.

Does Eras have international tour dates?

Yes! In June 2023, Taylor came through on her promise of crossing the pond. After the Latin American leg of the Eras Stadium Tour, Taylor will take the show to Asia, Australia, and Europe, starting February 7, 2024. She’ll begin with four shows in Toyko, and from there, will jet-set to major cities including Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, Amsterdam, and London. Check out the full list of international tour dates below.

But Taylor wasn’t done yet. Days after her initial announcement, the artist added one new show in Los Angeles and 8 news shows in the UK and Europe . Then, on July 5, she tossed 14 more European tour dates into the line-up, extending her stay in cities including Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Dublin, Amsterdam, Milan, Warsaw, and Vienna. See the complete list below.

Has Taylor Swift made any special announcements during the Eras Stadium Tour?

Taylor went back to her roots for a three-night tour in her hometown of Nashville and kicked off her weekend-long stay by announcing the official release date for her third re-release, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) . (Funny enough, Speak Now was Taylor’s third studio album.) The Grammy winner later took to Instagram to celebrate the album's release.

“It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆),” she wrote. “I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it.”

Taylor also revealed that there will be new music released on the project as well. “With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you on July 7th.”

How much is Taylor Swift expected to earn from the Eras Tour?

Taylor is raking in big coins courtesy of the Eras Stadium Tour. Bloomberg estimates that the Grammy winner could earn more than $10 million each night from ticket sales — but she isn’t the only one reaping the rewards of the tour.

According to the outlet, Eras could generate $5 billion (!) for local economies throughout the U.S., with an economic impact that’s reportedly greater than 50 countries. Bloomberg says a study from QuestionPro found that concertgoers spend an average of $1,327.74 on tickets, outfits and costumes, merchandise, food and drink, and travel combined.

Who are the opening acts for Taylor Swift’s Eras Stadium Tour?

Paramore (!!) has joined the tour. While announcing the 14 added European dates, Taylor shared that the pop-punk band will be her opening act. “I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!!,” Taylor wrote on Instagram. “@yelyahwilliams and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Sabrina Carpenter also recently announced that she’ll join Taylor’s Eras tour throughout Latin America. The “emails i can’t send” singer posted the official dates along with a screenshot of a 13-year-old tweet that read, “The Taylor Swift concert was amazing, had so much fun I cant wait to have a world tour someday like hers! lol with 2 sold out shows!!!!!” We’re not crying, you are. 🥹

Sabrina will be the special guest for Taylor’s Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico City performances from August 24 to November 26.

While most of Taylor’s opening acts and special guests are her friends and collaborators, there are also fresh, new artists who are getting their foot in the door with the honor of playing stadiums with Taylor Swift early in their careers. Taylor’s other supporting acts include Paramore, Haim, Pheobe Bridgers, Muna, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, and Owenn.

How can I buy tickets for Taylor Swift's Eras Stadium Tour?

Following the TicketMaster debacle during the Verified Fan and Capital One pre-sales, Taylor’s team worked with the retailer to give Swifties good karma on Monday, December 12, 2022. Per NBC News , fans started receiving emails from TicketMaster that revealed they’d have a second chance at securing tickets to the Eras tour. “You were selected for this opportunity because you have been identified as a fan who received a boost during the Verified Fan presale but did not purchase tickets,” the email read. “We apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced, and have been asked by Taylor’s team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets.”

According to fans on Twitter, those who had received an official boost for the Verified Fan Pre-Sale but didn’t purchase tickets were granted an opportunity to buy a maximum of two due to high demand. Fans who received the message from TicketMaster received an individual invite to submit their purchase request before Friday, December 23, 2022. The retailer claims that invitations “will be staggered by tour dates in each city.”

For better chances of snagging a ticket, fans were instructed to register for TicketMaster’s Verified Fan program before November 9, 2022 to “ensure tickets get into the hands of fans.” The TicketMaster Verified Fan pre-sale took place on November 15, 2022, and due to unprecedented demand, tons of Swifties grew frustrated with the ticket-selling platform.

TicketMaster issued multiple statements during the chaotic Verified Fan pre-sale, which reportedly included queues of more than 20,000 people for some dates. Because of this “historically unprecedented demand,” the pre-sales scheduled for West Coast shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Santa Clara, and Seattle were postponed to 3 p.m. PST on November 15, 2022 instead of its original time of 10 a.m. PST. TicketMaster also rescheduled the Capital One card member pre-sale to November 16, 2022 at 2 P.M. local venue time.

The ticket retailer included notable updates in the following Tweet:

According to TicketMaster’s official Twitter account, these are the best ticket-buying practices to ensure you secure a spot during the pre-sale.

On November 17, 2022, TicketMaster announced that the general ticket sale, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, November 18, 2022, was canceled due to “extraordinarily high demands.”

“Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow's public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been canceled,” the company wrote on Twitter. Greg Maffei, the CEO of Liberty Media, the largest shareholder in concert promotion company Live Nation and its ticket-selling platform Ticketmaster, also told CNBC that 14 million people tried to purchase tickets for the tour when pre-sale was launched on Tuesday to 1.5 million verified fans.

SeatGeek’s website also reported that the general sale was canceled on their platform for the same reasons.

According to a report by Variety , ticket prices ranged from $49 up to $449, with VIP packages starting at $199 and going up to $899. Notably, this did not include a meet-and-greet package as Taylor's official fan club, Taylor Nation, tends to scout super fans on social media and in the crowds at shows to meet the star for no additional cost.

While Taylor hasn’t done any official meet and greets for the Eras tour yet, she did keep a sweet promise she made to Arizona teen Isabella McCune. In 2018, Isabella went through a tragic accident that left her hospitalized with burns that covered more than 65 percent of her body. She was only 8 years old at the time, and she couldn't attend Taylor’s Reputation Stadium Tour because of her hospitalization.

Per ABC 15 , Taylor visited her longtime fan at the time and left a note that read, “Isabelle, I hope you feel better soon. I'm so honored you've been listening to my music. You're so awesome and I can't wait to have you at a show. Stay strong, gorgeous. Love, Taylor.”

Now, 13-year-old Isabella had the chance to attend the opening night of Taylor’s Eras tour in Glendale, Arizona. “Not only the fact that I'm able to go and I got these tickets gifted to me, they're from Taylor Swift and her team and they remembered me and thought of me to give me these tickets,” Isabella told the local news affiliate, adding that Taylor's "music helped [her] a lot while I was in the hospital."

Has Taylor Swift addressed the TicketMaster debacle?

The singer-songwriter originally took to her Instagram Stories on November 18, 2022, to air her frustrations and share her disappointment in the ticket-buying process.

“It goes without saying that I'm extremely protective of my fans. We've been doing this for decades together and over the years, I've brought so many elements of my career in house,” Taylor began. “I've done this SPECIFICALLY to improve the quality of my fans' experience by doing it myself with my team who care as much about my fans as I do. It's really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for met to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse.”

“It's truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them,” she added.

Taylor ended the message in sharing her hopes that there will be future opportunities for her and her fans to be together and “sing these songs.” See Taylor’s full message below.

Are there any photos from the Eras Stadium Tour?

Drop everything now — pics from the opening night of Taylor’s tour in Glendale, Arizona, are her, and she’s proven that she can still make the whole place shimmer. The singer donned custom outfits from Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, and Albert Ferretti throughout her set, and they all captured the essence of each era, from the fringe of Fearless to the ultra-sparkly co-ord sets of 1989 . During her Arlington, Texas show on March 31, Taylor swapped out “Invisible String” — which fans believe is about her former boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn — for a bittersweet breakup track off Folklore , “The 1.” The setlist switch-up came amid Tay’s breakup with the Conversations With Friends actor.

The opening track off her Grammy-winning album, Folklore , includes the following lyrics:

“But we were something, don't you think so? / Roaring 20s, tossing pennies in the pool / And if my wishes came true / It would've been you / In my defense, I have none / For never leaving well enough alone / But it would've been fun / If you would've been the one.” Due to the nature of the lyrics, fans believe the song switch may have hinted at the couple’s split.

What are the surprise songs for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour?

On the first night of the tour, Taylor revealed that she’ll perform not one, but two surprise songs during the acoustic portion of the show.

“The plan, the goal, would be to play different songs every single night and never repeat one. Right? So that when you heard one on this tour, you would know it's the only time that I was going to play it in the acoustic set, unless — caveat — unless I mess it up so badly that I have to do it over again in some other city. Send your best wishes towards me that I don't do that,” the singer said, per Billboard .

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

The tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and extends through Aug. 9, where the singer will wrap with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift still has stops left in Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Santa Clara.

See taylor swift perform 'fresh out the slammer' for first time in lisbon, charlie puth didn’t believe that taylor swift shout-out was real at first.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

The stadium tour was accompanied by a concert film released on New Year’s Eve that year.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Important information for buying tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan:

Our goal is to maximize the number of fans who have an opportunity to shop.

The link in your text will direct you to the show you were selected for — either a show that was available during registration or a show that was announced after registration closed.

If you were selected for a show available during registration, your code will enable you to shop  that  show  or any show in the same city  that was announced after registration closed. (You will not be able to shop a different show that was available during registration).

If you were selected for a show announced after registration closed — i.e., the link in your text directs you to one of those shows — your code is good for that show. Taylor Swift

Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift ‘s Eras Tour is finally here.

The 52-date trek kicks off Friday night in Glendale, Ariz., at State Farm Stadium with openers Gayle and Paramore. This marks Swift’s first tour since the Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, as her 2020 Lover Fest was canceled before it even began due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Swift has released three studio albums — “Folklore” and “Evermore” in 2020 and “Midnights” in October 2022 — in addition to re-recording “Fearless” and “Red” (which both came with bonus tracks) in 2021.

Taylor Swift Continues Her International Era(s Tour)

Portrait of Justin Curto

Update, Thursday, November 2, 2023: Is it the end of the era? Not just yet. Taylor Swift has once again extended her Eras Tour, this time adding three new dates to the previously announced Canada leg with opener Gracie Abrams. This means that after circling the globe, the tour that reportedly helped make Swift a billionaire is set to conclude in Vancouver in December 2024 … for now, at least.

Update, Wednesday, July 5, 2023: Taylor Swift isn’t leaving international Swifties on their own, kid. The superstar announced that she’s taking her Eras tour to Latin America, Asia, Australia, and Europe through 2024. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!” tweeted Swift on June 19. Swift is also bringing an old Nashville friend along for the newly expanded European run: Hayley Williams, who collaborated on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , and Paramore will be opening the tour. That’s along with the new friend in tow for some other international dates, Sabrina Carpenter. The international leg now consists of 78 dates so far, adding up to 131 Eras tour shows total, making this Swift’s largest tour ever . Fans noticed an April-sized gap in the schedule, causing speculation for a possible Coachella headlining set. It could also just be a much-needed break for the “Lavender Haze” singer after non-stop touring for the past year. Or maybe her schedule is flexible like a goddamn acrobat; it’s up to karma to decide.

Original story follows.

Now that you’ve met her at midnight, how about on tour? Taylor Swift will be spending a lot of midnights on the road in 2023, she told fans on Good Morning America on November 1, instead of the assumed 3 a.m. announcement last week. Swift is set to tour stadiums in the U.S. for the first time since her 2018 Reputation outing with her newly announced Eras Tour, “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!).” Swift went on to nearly double the number of dates on the tour, adding two more batches of new concerts “due to unprecedented demand,” her team told Variety . (It still wasn’t enough to prevent a total meltdown on Ticketmaster .) She has a whole slew of openers included in the lineup — depending on where you live, your Eras Tour may include Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, or OWENN (shout-out to Paramore, Bridgers, and Abrams for somehow being the only ones not to have fun with capitalization in their names). The tour kicked off March 17 in Glendale, Arizona (famously not the land of the Kardashians , so Swift is safe there), and ends August 9 in sunny L.A.

She originally planned two Lover Fest performances in 2020 , behind her seventh album, but canceled those because of the pandemic. That makes the Eras tour Swift’s first run of shows in four albums: Lover , her 2020 surprises folklore and evermore , and Midnights , something the tour announcement alludes to with photos of her throughout her career. She also has two rerecorded albums to promote, Red and Fearless — and, hey, that ten-minute “All Too Well” is going to be a hell of a showstopper.

Taylor Swift Announces The Eras Tour Film Will Be Available to Stream on Her Birthday: 'Fun Way to Celebrate'

The record-breaking concert film will soon be available to rent in households across the U.S. and Canada, followed by a worldwide release

eras tour dates december

Taylor Swift is bringing her record-breaking Eras Tour to households across the U.S. and Canada — and, soon, worldwide.

On Monday, Swift, 33, announced on Instagram that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film will be available to stream in just over two weeks. Beginning on her birthday, Dec. 13, fans will have access to one of the year’s most coveted tickets from the comfort of their home.

“Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” she wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of her performing “Wildest Dreams” from 1989 (Taylor’s Version) onstage in the film.

The version available to rent on demand, she shared, will include some of the setlist that was cut when the film hit theaters worldwide beginning in October. While the Eras Tour’s actual runtime is over 3 hours and 15 minutes, the concert movie ran just 2 hours and 45 minutes, so several fan-favorite tracks didn’t make the final cut . For the digital release, though, Swift is including some of them.

She continued on Instagram, “Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’ will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13 🫶💋.”

The “Anti-Hero” singer’s announcement came just hours after she concluded her final show of the year in São Paulo, Brazil.

She had a few special guests in the audience as she performed her career-spanning setlist on Sunday night as the family of her late fan, Ana Clara Benevides Machado, was in attendance .

Benevides Machado died before attending Swift’s show in Rio de Janeiro earlier this month, so Swift invited her loved ones — including her father, Weiny Machado — to her final Brazil tour stop in São Paulo, a source close to Swift confirmed to PEOPLE.

The 23-year-old fan died on Nov. 17 ahead of Swift’s concert at Estadio Nilton Santos. She felt unwell at the Rio venue, and was attended to by first responders before being transferred to a nearby hospital, where she died, event organizer Time for Fun announced on X (formerly Twitter).

Her loved ones wore matching shirts with Benevides Machado’s face on them during the show, which they watched from what appeared to be a VIP tent . Before the show they met Swift , according to fans.

Since The Eras Tour concert film premiered in theaters on Oct. 13, Swift has been overwhelmed by the response. Within the first two weeks of its release, it broke records for first-day ticket sales and grossed more than $200 million at the global box office .

She reflected on the success of the film on Instagram , writing, “What a truly mind blowing thing you’ve turned The Eras Tour Concert Film into.”

The singer continued, “I’ve been watching videos of you guys in the theaters dancing and prancing and recreating choreography, creating inside jokes, casting spells, getting engaged, and just generally creating the exact type of joyful chaos we’re known for 😇.”

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film is coming home in December with 3 bonus songs

The record-breaking doc will be available to stream on the pop superstar's birthday.

In typical mastermind fashion, Taylor Swift is celebrating her birthday with a gift for her fans.

The pop sensation announced on Monday that her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film will be available to rent on VOD starting Dec 13 — and just as fans hoped, it will include three of the songs cut from the original theatrical release.

“Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” Swift wrote across her social media accounts. “Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’ will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13.”

The original omission of several songs from the tour’s setlist certainly earned a reaction from Swift’s fanbase when the movie premiered in October. But those used to solving Swift’s puzzles correctly guessed that the concert film — which already clocks in at 2 hours and 45 minutes — would be extended once available for home viewing. That said, not all of the cut songs from the concert are being featured. Nightly inclusion “Cardigan” won’t factor into the longer version, nor will “No Body No Crime,” despite Swift performing the track with Haim at the L.A. shows filmed for the movie.

Taylor Hill/TAS23/Getty Images for TAS Rights Management

News of the home release comes two months after the concert film debuted in theaters, and hours after Swift wrapped on 2023 dates for her ongoing global Eras Tour. The “Cruel Summer” singer played her final show in Sao Paulo Brazil on Sunday night and will next take to the stage on Feb. 7 in Tokyo.

In the meantime, fans can continue singing along in the privacy of their living rooms when the film arrives on streaming next month where it will undoubtedly find a new record to shatter. Swift’s Eras Tour already made waves by becoming the first concert film in history to cross the $100 million mark domestically, and has since cleared $165 million in North America, putting it above $231 million globally. And all of that without "Wildest Dreams"!

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift always keeps her promises. Just a couple weeks after unveiling a list of Latin American dates for her bestselling Eras Tour and pledging to schedule even more across the globe, the 33-year-old pop star has now announced a slew of international shows for the trek in 2024.

Here Are the Artists Opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers…

Trending on billboard.

Swift first confirmed that the Eras Tour would be going global earlier this month, when the “Anti-Hero” singer announced a Latin American leg of shows in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina also featuring support from Carpenter, whom Swift called a “sweet angel princess.” “Really thrilled to tell you this!!” the pop star wrote in a post to her social media accounts at the time. “Mexico, Argentina and Brazil: We are bringing The Eras Tour to you this year!” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“LOTS more international dates to come soon, promise!” she added.

Ten days later, Swift added three additional shows to the Latin America leg, which kicks off in early August and picks up in November.

In addition to the new shows, Swifties also have a new album to look forward to in the coming weeks. As announced in May, Swift’s third studio album, Speak Now, will receive the “Taylor’s Version” treatment. Re-recordings of the set’s original tracks drop July 7, as do previously unreleased “Vault” tracks featuring Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy.

When Does Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Start Again?

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Taylor Swift performs in Melbourne, Australia

Taylor Swift just doesn't stop. After a quick spring break that included the debut of The Tortured Poets Department , a highly anticipated release that turned out to be TWO albums, the "Cruel Summer" singer will start her Eras Tour again in Paris, France.

The Eras Tour, Swift's first since 2018's Reputation Tour, kicked off March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona for a grueling 150 stops over 18 months. She still has 69 to go before the tour concludes in December.

In December 2023, Swift told  Time magazine that she began prepping for the tour six months before it began. "I knew this tour was harder than anything I’d ever done before by a long shot," she said. "I finally, for the very first time, physically prepared correctly."

The goal, she continued, was to be "so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans, and not lose my train of thought."

Despite the physical toll the show has had on her ("I can barely speak because I’ve been singing for three shows straight. Every time I take a step my feet go crunch, crunch, crunch from dancing in heels. But it's the most fulfilled I've ever felt," she told the outlet), it's clear Swift—and her fans—are having a blast.

Here's everything to know about when Taylor Swift's Eras Tour starts again in 2024.

No announcement has been made about additional Eras Tour dates, but it feels unlikely this late in her tour. She has already extended shows into December, and with the release of The Tortured Poets Department , she has another project to promote. About Gracie Abrams Since making her debut with “Mean It” in 2019, Gracie Abrams has emerged as one of the most compelling songwriters of her generation. A consummate songwriter who names Joni Mitchell as her most formative influence, she penned her first song at age 8, then went on to amass a devoted following on the strength of her emotionally intimate lyrics. Her debut project  minor  was released in summer 2020. The 7-song effort features her beloved singles “21,” “I miss you, I’m sorry,” and “Long Sleeves.” In 2021, Abrams returned with  This Is What It Feels Like , a 12-track project exploring such complex emotions as self-betrayal, insecurity, and failed attempts at connection. Soon after completing her sold-out North American headline tour for  This Is What It Feels Like , she set to work on her long-awaited debut album. Released in February, and produced by  Aaron Dessner  of  The National ,  Good Riddance  finds  Abrams  opening up about a recent period of intense transformation, bringing even more honesty and depth to her lyrical storytelling.  Praising  Good Riddance  as “one of 2023’s best debuts,”  Rolling Stone  hailed  Abrams  as “one of pop’s buzziest young artists.” Upon its release Abrams set out on a sold-out North American headline tour and is currently supporting on select dates of the blockbuster Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour.  Abrams just released a deluxe version of  Good Riddance  featuring four additional songs.
