FIDLAR are back. The band has announced fall 2023 tour dates in the US and Europe, and shared a new single, “Nudge.” Check out the song and their full list of upcoming dates below, and grab your tickets here .

“Nudge” begins with an understated arrangement, as frontman Zac Carper relays stories about receiving “nudges,” one from a judge, and another from his “chick,” who informs him that he’s making her “sick.” At this point, the guitar riff that’s anchored the song thus far bursts open, and the band lays down a thrashy interlude worthy of a good ol’ fashion mosh pit.

Bringing the arrangement back down, Carper tells of receiving one more “nudge,” this time from his friends in the form of an intervention, to which he offers the same response he had offered in the previous two stories: “Well, excuse me, officers.” After that, the energy kicks into a high gear again, with a faster, head-banging tempo and a scorching guitar solo. So, if you do happen to catch FIDLAR on their upcoming tour, don’t use up all your moshing energy during the first interlude, because you’ll need some for the song’s spirited final moments.

For his part, Carper explained in a statement that “‘Nudge’ is a song about your friend that keeps kooking it, so you gotta give them a ‘nudge’ to get their shit together.” Stream the single below.

FIDLAR’s upcoming tour will kick off with a week-long run of shows in Florida, dubbed the “Floriduh Tour.” After that, they’ll make two more stops in the US — Las Vegas and Phoenix — before crossing the Atlantic for a handful of performances in the UK and a grand finale in Paris on November 20th. Earlier this year, FIDLAR shared the six-track EP, That’s Life . Last year, they helped commemorate Consequence ’s 15th anniversary by curating a playlist of 15 songs they’ve had on repeat since 2007.

Sure, life’s a risk. But FIDLAR have proven that risks are worth taking. Starting out as a group of drunken punks playing gnarly house shows around Los Angeles, their fanbase exploded and congealed into “FIDIOTS.” Fan’s who show their dedication to both the band  and  their mantra of “fuck it” by etching “FIDLAR” onto their bodies by way of homemade stick-and-poke prison style tattoos.

With songs like “Cheap Beer” and “Wake Bake Skate,” the light speed rocket that was 2012’s eponymous album blasted them into the stratosphere where they had the room to expand the idea of the band. Being thrust into the loneliness of space, they were confronted by the void and slog of touring. They responded to that introspection with 2015’s “TOO,” where songs like “40oz On Repeat” “Why Generation” and “Sober” grapple with how to age gracefully as hard partying punks headed towards their 30s.

“Too” pushed the band further to the edges of their comfort zone where these four SoCal weirdos found themselves playing gigantic festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds. Propelling them to refine and expand their sound with 2019’s “ALMOST FREE” where you can start to hear more than just their “punk and indie” influences. The Beastie Boys tinged “Get off My Rock.” The asphalt-groovy take on L.A. hipster culture “Can’t You See.” And the alterna-pop, radio friendly, heartbreak duet of “Called You Twice” featuring grammy nominated artist K. Flay.

But that was in “the before times…” During the pandemic, unable to tour as a band, the guys all separately dove into their own pet projects and they all experimented with different styles of music (sometimes with the aid of psychedelics). Unintentionally, this caused them to shake off the impulse to layer “bells and whistles” (not literally, but kinda) to their songs. Like they had been doing progressively over the years. Now, after duck-diving the choppy waves that is the modern music industry, FIDLAR are ready for the next gnarly set.

Armed with 3 Chords, the truth, and some jazz cabbage, FIDLAR has a new found appreciation of not only where they came from, but where they are now. And when asked what the new sound is, the response is simply “FUCKBOI ANTHEMS.”

Well then… fuck it, dawg. Let’s get weird.

Enjoy Russian  tea with traditional Russian pies ( pirogi) and after lunch break  you are welcome to visit  Nadezhda Strelkina’s art studio “Fairy world”. Nadezhda Strelkina is a painter of Fedoskino lacquer miniature, working in this sphere for more than 20 years. She is a well know fantasy artist in the world and her art works are licensed on different products in many countries. The creation of the highly acclaimed “Symphony of Angels” porcelain plate collection for the Bradford Exchange has won her the prestigious award “Collector’s Choice New Artist of the Year 1997”

Fedoskino village is located 35 km to the north from Moscow The tour lasts 6-7 hours Tour price depends on the number of people in a group. Tour includes: car with a driver, English speaking guide, entrance fees, painting class, Russian tea ceremony.
