Preschool & elementary.

NextGen Ministry is available Sunday morning during all three services (8:00, 10:00, & 12:00) for babies through 5th grade.

• Preschool (babies through Pre-K) - Located in the Worship Center (Building 300)
• Elementary (K-5) - Located in the "Discovery Park" Kids wing (Building 200)

Middle / High School Students

"Encounter" Middle School meets on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. "Elevate" High School gathers on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm.

Journey Church meets every Sunday at 1000 Royal Park Dr., Between at 9:15 + 11 AM.

What can I expect?

How long is a journey church service.

In total, a Journey Church service is about 60 minutes in length . Services begin with the Journey Church worship team leading in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging message.

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT JOURNEY CHURCH?

Sundays at Journey are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Journey Church, we make this a priority. Our vision for Children's ministry is that your kids would not only have a blast but also have their hearts and minds focused upon Jesus. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, make sure to leave yourself some extra time before service to get your kids checked in -and so we can get to know them!

We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2024, at the age of 72, Marvin Lawrence Kuhl of Smyrna, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Marvin Lawrence may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was loved and cherished by many people including two sisters, three children, eight grandchildren, one great grandson, nieces and nephews, many cousins, and many adopted family.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Smyrna.
