Very interesting place if you are remotely interested in Nascar Racing or the history of racing in general. They have a ton of cars, lots of memorabilia and a great deal of machinery that shows how they designed and developed the cars. It would be a good day out for kids of all ages. The price of the tickets are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. There is a store to buy anything to do with racing you could wish. There is no food on site, I would recommend a local BBQ place nearby as you are in the BBQ capital of the US!

A must do when in Charlotte area. Cost children under 6 free. Adults 10.00 seniors 8.00 and children over 7 is 5.00. This museum is very nice. Does a great job respectful of Dale Earnhardt time racing for RCR. All current and past race drivers. Give yourself 3 hrs for the museum. Not able to see shop area or pit stop practice like other race shops. Nice large gift shop area price resemble.

I decided to stop here and check out all of the Dale Earnhardt cars, I'm glad I did. Saw his Daytona 500, Brickyard and Winston 500 No Bull win cars plus many other themed versions he raced over the year.

As a Dale Earnhardt Sr fan, this is a must see. I found this museum, Dale's former race shop, accidentally and it filled my heart with joy. It checked off a bucket list item I didn't know I had. Outstanding!

If you're a racing fan, this is a must stop. So much history in such a cool layout. Wish we could have seen the current cars being built but the museum was more than enough.

RCR Racing Museum

Welcome, North Carolina is a very small town, about 40-minutes south of Winston-Salem and is home to the Richard Childress Racing Shop and Museum. RCR currently builds NASCAR Race Cars for Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton but the history of RCR glory days date back to Dale Earnhardt and the NASCAR Winston Cup Championships won by Dale while driving cars built by RCR. Today the Race Shop is scattered over several acres on the RCR Campus and they are NOT open to the public or available for public tours. But race fans won’t be disappointed because they will be treated to a self-guided tour of the RCR Museum where they will see over 40-of the GM Goodwrench Chevrolets that were driven by the late Dale Earnhardt. Included in the collection is the car that Earnhardt drove to win the 1998 Daytona 500. Also on display are cars that were driven by Harvick, Burton and Bowyer, and an impressive display dedicated to Richard Childress’s love for the outdoors. The museum is managed by Danny “Chocolate” Meyers, who was a long time member of the #3 Pit crew. For the price of admission visitors are treated a very up close and personal look at the history of the famed GM Goodwrench #3 and Richard Childress Racing. A visit to the RCR Museum is well worth the trip to this small Town where residents are more than happy to point the way to the town’s only attractions.

Moscow Metro 2019

rcr racing tours

Will it be easy to find my way in the Moscow Metro? It is a question many visitors ask themselves before hitting the streets of the Russian capital. As metro is the main means of transport in Moscow – fast, reliable and safe – having some skills in using it will help make your visit more successful and smooth. On top of this, it is the most beautiful metro in the world !

. There are over 220 stations and 15 lines in the Moscow Metro. It is open from 6 am to 1 am. Trains come very frequently: during the rush hour you won't wait for more than 90 seconds! Distances between stations are quite long – 1,5 to 2 or even 3 kilometers. Metro runs inside the city borders only. To get to the airport you will need to take an onground train - Aeroexpress.

RATES AND TICKETS

Paper ticket A fee is fixed and does not depend on how far you go. There are tickets for a number of trips: 1, 2 or 60 trips; or for a number of days: 1, 3 days or a month. Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
  • Moscow subway system is the  5th in the intensity  of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).
  • The interval in the movement of trains in rush hour is  90 seconds .
