An amazing tour and amazing hosts

We went on Tour A today with Spider Travel & Tours and it was an amazing experience. We were greeted at our hotel by one of their staff called Julius at the exact time we were told they’d arrive. He then walked us down the beach where we boarded the boat and he introduced himself and the rest of the crew. It turns out Julius was the main host during the tour and he really enhanced the experience. He was full of energy, full of jokes and laughter and really made the trip awesome so thanks a lot Julius. The rest of the crew were pretty awesome and helpful too. We stopped at 5 destinations during the tour and 4 of them were amazing. However, the secret lagoon was proper rubbish in my opinion and I’d replace that with something else going forward. Maybe a paradise beach where everyone could just relax for an hour. The secret lagoon can only be entered through a very small gap so we all had to line up in single file for around 10 minutes to get in and another 10 minutes to get out. When we were in there I was looking around thinking this is rubbish, there’s nothing to look at, the water is merky and it’s just a waste of time. The other 4 destinations were absolutely amazing and we captured loads of great photos and plenty of fantastic memories. The buffet lunch was also amazing and the best I’ve had on a tour. All in all a great day out thanks to the guys at Spider Travel & Tours and the beauty of El Nido. It was extremely hard to locate your trip advisor page by the way so you might want to look into that as well. Thanks again. Chris from England!!! Haha

We had our two days island tour (sept 3&4) with their agency. They were the one contacted by our hotel (sea cocoon). The staffs were accomodating and friendly with their customers, from the tour guides, boat captain to the assistant boat crew. The safety and enjoyment of the customers is always their priority. The guides and boat men even extend their extra effort in assisting customers who are not that good in swimming to find ways to enjoy the place. I also loved that their boat have rubber pads to prevent accidents/slipping. Special mention to kuya Ryan and kuya Joemari, our guide for the two days tour, who shares some history of el nido and always check the customers safety and satisfaction. Oh we had tour A & C as part of joiner tours but they also offer private tours.

If you are going to visit El Nido, Palawan for the first time, I would recommend Spider Travel and Tours. They do have a website: spidertravelandtours.com. We did two private tours A and C . It was an amazing experience. Make sure you bring a water proof camera, buy one of those wet bags and water shoes.. You can not go wrong with any of these tours. The water was so clear and you can see the corals and fishes. We would go back again!!! We did book our tours online directly with Spider.. We wish they do take credit cards such as visa or master card; however, we felt at ease dealing with them (Tercel and Nicole) and they deliver. Our boat crew were fantastic..it was easy to remember their names because they are all J's: Julius our tour guide; Jojo our cook, Jayson co-captain and Jeffrey our captain. Our boat Princess Joy was not bad at all. When we did have our second private tour C, it was windy and water was choppy. It's great we did have one of the biggest boat out there. If given an opportunity, We would go with them again.

El Nido is filled with countless tour operators to choose from but to find one worth every centavos maybe a task which we weren't up for due to limited time availability. So we randomly (and fortunately) walked into Spider tour operator shop and decided to seal a deal with them to show us the beauty of El Nido. It was a decision of no regret, only filled with stunning everlasting memory of beautiful El Nido. We did Tour C as joiner and Tour A as private. The reason for such being that Tour A had the real amazing stuff and we wanted our own way with it whilst Tour C was only beaches and we could do it with others. Make no mistake, these are no normal beaches. I thought those beaches fell from the sky lol So we started with Tour C, with great people on board and great crew members (funny guide). They were helpful all the way, they provide mandatory life vest, delicious lunch, places history and story, danced (tho short lived), joked and so on. We can also rent stuff like aqua shoe, goggles, fins etc. We took our time in each destination and never felt rushed. We then did Tour A, went to great places.. Sorry its injustice to use the word 'great', those places were out of this world like literally. We had a guide along, helped us onto the kayak, explained places, taught us poses ...took our pictures, took underwater pictures, served us meal and was very friendly. I really wished I remembered their names but I can't. Even though El Nido is known to get really crowded (and it was ) but we were very fortunate to have each destinations in Tour A to ourselves and took our own sweet time in each place. It was an unforgettable trip along with their help. If ever we visit El Nido again, we will surely use this tour operator and we will certainly look for those guys we had. We done tour A, B, C with spider tours and had a very good time on each of them . Tour A and C were particular highlights. The staff were very friendly and helpful , especially Ryan who made sure everyone had fun and got the most out of the tour. The lunch provided was also surprisingly good. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

So, this was the worst. Unfortunately, I only 'discovered' this agency I was tricked by the one I had booked tours with. They didn't have enough people for tour B so they shifted me to this one. Without any prior notice obviously. The tour with this company was literally terrible. A complete mess, unprofessionalism, chaos and disrespect towards clients. After waiting for an hour on the beach for boat, we were put to a boat only to wait there another 30 minutes and to be shifted to another boat. All the process of dealing with some stupid picky demanding group (8) who demanded a private tour for which they hadn't paid, and therefore about 30 others had to be waiting and changing boats like crazy, took 2 hours!!!! When talked to my fellow passengers, apparently the same was happening every single day with this company! Now, the original departure was to be 9am. We left the port as the LAST boat at 11am. Not to mention that they have old boats, old equipment and clearly have no idea whatsoever what customer service is. I am not fussy and I used to work in tourism so I'm used to a lot. But this company is just a group of amateurs who believe that a joke here and there will fix their complete lack of professionalism. I didn't enjoy myself at all would say that if you want a hassle-free experience, choose other providers.

We booked a private tour (tour a) as a group of four friends, and were pleased with the good value price and really liked the staff in the office. We had a boat to ourselves, which was great, because the group tours really packed in 14+ people into boats, which looked miserable. We started the day with a few hiccups - we had to wait a while for our snorkelling gear which had been forgotten, but once we got going we had a great day. Our guide Russel was knowledgeable and really took on board our desire to go to spots with less people and he really delivered. We had the Big Lagoon to ourselves to kayak around which was great, and a secluded lunch spot on a small beach too. The secret lagoon was a little underwhelming, but the snorkelling spots were great and the beaches impressive. The boat crew cooked us an awesome lunch and looked after us well. Although there could be a few improvements in customer service, overall they did an excellent job and we were pleased we chose a private island hopping tour.

If you want to experience a great and reliable tour they are the agency to be. They prepare good island life food; the crew and tour guides are accommodating, ensures the safety of their guests as well as making sure that they have fun and enjoy as well. They are the best people to take you around el nido. :)

We decided to take a private tour and got booked at the BJM Lobster with Jomarie as guide. Everything was perfect! He's so kind and friendly, always smiling and giving us great recommendations. I'm a very nervous swimmer and he was extremely patient and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifuly presented, cooked just there at the boat while we were snorkeling. We loved the trip so much that we booked another one and specifically asked for the same crew a couple of days after. An amazing experience! We did tours A and C.

First Time in El Nido

If you are going to visit El Nido, Palawan for the first time, I would recommend Spider Travel and Tours. They do have a website: spidertravelandtours.com. We did two private tours A and C . Great way to visit El Nido

We spent the day with Dave & Team on the 5 Island Tour. The team was fun and kept us smiling throughout the day. I especially loved that even though I am not a great swimmer, Dave happily escorted me so I could see the beautiful ocean bottom and fish. The picnic that was prepared for us was delicious and actually one of the best grilled fish dishes that we had thus far. Don’t hesitate to book!

This was our first time going to El Nido, Palawan. Charlie's Hotel, where we were staying at arranged our island hopping tour with Spider Travel and Tours and it was simply the best tour ever! We did Tour A with them and my son & I had the absolute best trip! The tour guides -Dave, Mark & Jobel esp is what made our whole experience amazing! They were very authentic and caring to all the guests and really took their time to make sure we were enjoying and also safe. I could tell that everyone on our boat from different parts of the world were having such a fun time. They took the time to cater to all of us, going in depth explaining the islands, and making sure everyone was having the best time. Most definitely the best Tour Company in El Nido!!!! All our Gratitude to the staff of Spider Tours, esp Dave, Jobel & Mark! Cheers!!! We will be back!

We Made tour C with Spider tour and it Was a Great experience for us. All the crew Was so kind, the food Was delicious and we had Great fun! Special mention to Julius Who Was super kind and took a lot of beautiful pictures for us! Even if the weather Was not good, they took us in other beautiful places outside of the chosen package.

Tour A was one of the best tours that I have ever been on. Dave was our tour guide. He kept everyone laughing the entire tour. Lunch was delicious. The best food that I have ever eaten on a tour. I also tried tour B. I liked tour A much better. Everyone says that tour C is the best. It was too windy that day for tour C so I didn't get to try it.

These guys love what they do, and it shows. My family and I enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful scenery and snorkling aboard the Ocean Nica 2. Russel provided ongoing enertainment for an international crowd. Not easy to pull off for that many hours. Ryan was an awesome guide, taking the time to get to "know us", not just "show us". Together, with the rest of the crew, they made us feel like we were all part of a family enjoying a day on our boat. The food was sensational. Seriously impressed, especially considering the conditions. The presentation was something you might see at a high-end buffet, but all prepared on the back of a moving boat and served on the beach. Even guests from other tours seemed jealous of the spread they put on for us. I really appreciate the way they looked after my family, more specifically, my son. They made sure he was enjoying himself snorkling, while at the same time looking out for his safety. They even helped him with an impromptu bathroom situation. (Thanks Russel). Ryan even played basketball with us on the beach after a full day of work. These guys hustle (work hard). My family enjoyed the tour so much that we booked another trip the next day and requested the same crew. Greatly enjoyed our two tours with Spider. The staff was helpful and Julius was amusing (if you get the option for tour D.. take it). Lunch was fantastic on both tours that we took and our safety and care was paramount to them.
