Important Notes

• Baby Car Seats (for infant aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your tour consultant for availability.
• Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu Airport on the day of your tour, your friendly guide will greet and pick you up from the airport with a placard showing your tour operator's logo.
• Standard check-in and check-out times for most hotels & resorts are 1400Hrs & 1200Hrs. However, check-in & check-out times may vary depending on each accommodation. So kindly check with us to get accurate check-in & check-out times of your accommodation.
• Effective as of 1st September 2017, the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia will be implementing a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX). Foreign tourists will be required to pay a flat rate of MYR 10 per room per night regardless of accommodation star level.The TTx is to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents residing in Malaysia are exempted from TTx and is required to present a valid identification upon check-in for the exemption.
• This package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings.

Useful Travel Tips

• Stay warm! You may bring a sweater along with you as it can get a wee bit chilly up in Kinabalu Park.
• For any Island tour, if you're interested in water sports (ie banana boat, seawalking, parasailing, etc), be sure to bring along a little bit of extra cash as these activities are not included in our tour package.
• Before going out for some fun in the sun, you may bring along some SPF50 sunscreen and an umbrella to protect your skin.

Kundasang, Sabah is the place all of us have always drawn as a child – a small wooden house with a magnificent view over the paddy fields and the majestic mountains beyond. If you are keen in exploring the best of Sabah, Kundasang is guaranteed to take your breath away with its majestic views. Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Borneo and Malaysia. With an elevation of 13,435 feet, it is third-highest peak of an island on Earth, and 20th most prominent mountain in the world by topographic prominence. The mountain is located in Ranau district, West Coast Division of Sabah, Malaysia.

The Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park; 05 islands consist of Gaya, Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi and Sulug also known as Sabah’s second national park.

“The Little Kinabatangan”, beside being one of the most scenic wetland parks in Borneo, a unique sighting on the Proboscis monkey and a dazzling display of fireflies when night fall.

Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Meet and greet with our representative. A drive through Kota Kinabalu cityscape and another scenic drive onwards to Pekan Tamparuli (estimate 55min journey). Visit Jambatan Tamparuli. Then make a quick shopping at Nabalu and Kundasang Market. Proceed for check in hotel. Dinner transfer at local restaurant. Overnight in Kundasang

DAY 2 KUNDASANG | KOTA KINABALU (B/L)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Start off with visit to Desa Cattle Farm, Poring Hot Spring, Canopy Walkway & Kinabalu Park. Continue journey to Kota Kinabalu (estimate 2hr journey). Check in hotel. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu. Dinner (guest own expenses)

DAY 1:  ARRIVAL KOTA KINABALU - KUNDASANG Meet and greet services at Kota Kinabalu Airport International (KKIA). Proceed to Kundasang for approximately 2-hours of journey. Visit Jambatan Tamparuli, Pekan Tamparuli. Stop by at Nabalu Market then proceed to Kundasang Town, check in at Kinabalu Pine Resort or similar hotel. Afterwards continue to Tagal Fish Spa in Ranau approximately 45-minutes journey. Free & easy in both Ranau & Kundasang before back to hotel. Lunch & dinner at own expenses.

DAY 2:  DESA CATTLE FARM / WAR MEMORIAL PARK / KINABALU PARK Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and 0830hrs proceed to visit Desa Cattle Farm. Afterwards continue to War Memorial Park. Lunch at local restaurant in Kundasang Town (own expenses). Then, transfer to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s First World Heritage Site for a visit to the Mountain Garden. Return back to Kota Kinabalu and check-in at Dreamtel Hotel or similar hotel. Dinner at local restaurant (own expenses).

DAY 3:  ISLAND HOPING (MANUKAN ISLAND & MAMUTIK ISLAND) Breakfast at the hotel. 0830hrs pick from from the hotel and transfer to jetty for about 15- minutes boat ride to Manukan Island. You may go for swimming, snorkelling, or just sunbathing along the beach as well as enjoy the water sports activities. Afternoon, transfer to Mamutik Island and a lunch at the café (own expenses). Free at leisure. Return to mainland in the late afternoon. Dinner at the local restaurant (own expenses) and overnight at Dreamtel Hotel or similar hotel.

The town is found in the state of Sabah, at the foot of Mount Kinabalu - Malaysia’s tallest mountain and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nevertheless, Kundasang has managed to build a reputation of its own and attracts thousands of tourists all year round. It is a destination that is perfect for anyone looking for stunning scenery, culture, history, and unique Malaysian delicacies.

01 : KOTA KINABALU / RUMAH TERBALIK / JAMBATAN TAMPARULI / PEKAN NABALU / KUNDASANG (D)

Upon arrival at KKIA, meet and greet and transfer approximately 2hrs drive to Kundasang. En-route stop at “Rumah Terbalik (which translates to “Upside Down House”), turn your wold upside down when you visit this unique house in Tamparuli – literally! The first of its kind in Southeast Asia and among the five upsides down structures in the world. (3 are found in Europe and another in Japan) another stops at Jambatan Tamparuli, Pekan Nabalu, Kinabalu Park the World Heritage Site with incredible mega bio-diversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. Enjoy a guided nature trail amongst the many trails in the park before drop off at your hotel in Kundasang for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Kinabalu Pine Resort (or similar)

02 : KUNDASANG / PORING HOTSPRING / DESA FARM / KOTA KINABALU (B/L/D)

After breakfast check out and transfer to Hot Spring tour which offers visitor the opportunity for an invigorating dip into its hot sulphur springs. For a closer look at nature, take the 41m high canopy walk which offers a spectacular view of the Borneo Rainforest flora and fauna. Depart from Poring to Desa Dairy Farm – located at the foothill of Mt.Kinabalu, at the mesilau plateau, Kundasang, Ranau. Desa Dairy Farm provides good education to understand how fresh milk is being processed from raw to finish product. Return to Kundasang and journey back to Kota Kinabalu. Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at city hotel/resort

03 : MANUKAN / SAPI ISLAND EXCURSION (B/L/D)

0900hr - Pick up from hotel lobby and transfer to jetty.

0930hr - Board boat for about 10-15minutes to Manukan Island. Free to swim and snorkel on your own. Spend designated time at Manukan and hop boat to Sapi Island - popularly known of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park's island being the popular for snorkeling. Spend the day for your own leisure: swimming, snorkeling and just laze yourself or suntan at the white sandy beach. Short and simple trails are available for your own option if you wish. A sumptuous BBQ will be served for you to enjoy your lunch on the island. After lunch, continue your free leisure.

1500hr - Standby at the island jetty for departure.

Day 3: Kota Kinabalu - KUNDASANG

Highlight: Tamparuli Town, Nabalu, Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Treetop Walk

07.00 hrs:  Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel.

08.00 hrs: Upon pick up from the hotel lobby, you will be whooshed straight into Sabah’s lush countryside– with a couple of interesting pitstops along the way for some famous local eats, handmade folk souvenirs, and perhaps a taste of some exotic fruits.

The first ½ hour drive ushers you through scenic landscapes and lush paddy fields laced with rustic local villages and finally into Tamparuli Town. Take a walk on the famous “Jambatan Tamparuli” suspension bridge and soak up the small-town charm.

Continue your journey through the mountainous roads winding along the Crocker range for another hour, till the next brief stop at Nabalu Handicraft Market. Nabalu is a rustic point perched on the hillside, where the local natives gather to sell local produce, fruits, home grown vegetables and handicraft souvenirs. Lunch en route at local restaurant.

Before we visit Desa Cow Farm, we will visit Sosodikan Hill Kundadang, amazing hill top view with surrounded mountains. Enjoy the amazing view with blue sky and clouds.

Before check in to your hotel, visit Desa Cow Farm. Along the way when you see the roads grow narrow and the landscape gives you rear view mirror licks of fresh green sceneries, a 199hectar stretch of pristine farmland on the foothills of Mount Kinabalu means you have reached the Desa Cattle Farm!

Cattle graze the green valley pastures to provide nearly one million liters of mountain-fresh milk annually, all while travellers both near and far enjoy the outrageously scenic view that plays backdrop to this dairy farm. You can get close to the cattle, bottle feed the calves and enjoy some fresh milk or yogurt produce straight off the farm.

Transfer to Kundasang and check into a mountain resort. You will notice the change in air temperature at this elevated level.

You are free to explore the resort at leisure.

Dinner and overnight stay at Kundasang.

Day 4: Kundasang - KOTA KINABALU

00.00 hrs: Breakfast at hotel.

On your second day, you will wake up to a misty morning ushering in views of sun-draped Mount Kinabalu. Birds chirp away while low-hanging clouds blanket the valleys.

Continue your journey to visit Malaysia’s first ever UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kinabalu National Park. Set at 1,500m above sea level, this 754sq kilometer park features one the Tallest Mountains in all of South East Asia as its center piece – Mount Kinabalu. Rising at 4,095.2m with cloud-hugging peaks that shade the valleys below, the majestic mountain is certainly a sight to behold from Kinabalu National Park.

Kinabalu Park itself boasts an estimate of 4,500 species of plants which include 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. Enjoy the refreshing and cooling air as you proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden, to learn more about the Kinabalu Park’s biological treasure trove. From carnivorous Pitcher Plants to rare Orchid species, the garden showcases a broad collection of endemic plant species found in Mount Kinabalu’s unique climatic zones.

Day 2 wraps up with an immersive exploration of Mount Kinabalu’s treetops. The Canopy Treetop Walk invites you to witness the grandeur of a hundred million year old rainforest, from a 175m length walkway suspended 60 meters above lush jungly tangles. Take in the sights and sounds and discover unique rainforest creatures from a bird’s eye view. Also, keep an eye out for some rare feathered beauties. A 20 minutes hike is needed to reach the Canopy Walkway. Proceed for lunch at the restaurant in Kinabalu Park.

Proceed to Kampung Luanti, then proceed to the nearby Moroli river for massage session.The fish massage is deemed to have a curative effect on those who suffers from psoriasis. Regular fish massages will smooth and supple your skin – just like a baby’s bottom.

Depart on to Poring Hot Spring.

Spend some quality time with your family and treasure joyous moments spent traveling together around Sabah for 4 days and 3 nights! Our family package has a little something for everyone. There are two slots of free and easy where you can explore Kota Kinabalu at your own pace. A bit of self-exploration makes for good bonding time.

Arrive in kota kinabalu.

Warmest greetings at Kota Kinabalu Airport!  Transfer to Kota Kinabalu city hotel.   After checking in to hotel, feel free to explore and enjoy the small rustic city and nightlife. 

Overnight in 4-Star Luma Hotel.

Kota Kinabalu / Rumah Terbalik (Upside Down House) / Nabalu Market / Kinabalu Park / Desa Cow Farm / Kota Kinabalu

After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel lobby and proceed on a 30-minute drive through the countryside to the wondrous Rumah Terbalik (Upside Down House).  During this pitstop, you will get to visit the Upside Down House accompanied by a guide to explain the cultural elements of the house.

Continue on a 1 hour and 30 minutes’ drive to Kinabalu National Park passing by villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads winding along the Crocker Range. Your next pitstop is at Nabalu Handicraft Market for some local produce and handicraft souvenirs.

Upon arrival at Kinabalu National Park, enjoy the refreshing cool air as you take a nature trail walk through the Botanical Gardens with Mount Kinabalu as your backdrop. Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in an estimate of 4,500 species of plants – 77 of which are Bornean-endemic. You may even get to spot several bird species out of 289 species sprawled throughout the park.

After the nature walk, it’s time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, depart for the 199-hectar stretch of pristine farmland – Desa Cow Farm! Cattle graze the green valley pastures to provide nearly one million liters of mountain-fresh milk annually, all while travellers both near and far enjoy the outrageously scenic view that plays backdrop to this dairy farm. You can get close to the cattle, bottle feed the calves and enjoy some fresh milk or yogurt produce straight off the farm.

Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu town and drop off at your respective hotels.

In the evening, head for a delectable Seafood Dinner at the popular Welcome Seafood Restaurant. Dinner is on your own expenses.

At 5.00PM, meet at Sutera Marina Jetty for the North Borneo Cruises - Sunset Dinner Cruise experience!  Your evening unfolds along the sultry sun-tinged South China Sea, cruising pass the islands and water villages that dot Sabah’s west coast.  You are free to wander around the vessel. Panoramic ocean views, warmth of the setting sun and gentle sea breeze grace the upper-deck while a live band serenades the ethnic themed air-conditioned restaurant below with acoustic favorites. Dinner will be served buffet style. Time to sink your teeth into Sabah’s most sought-after culinary experience.  As the sun sets and the stars come out, Kota Kinabalu’s coastline now comes alive with dazzling city night lights. The North Borneo Cruises will glide across the Waterfront as you indulge in dessert or your next glass of wine.

• Baby Car Seats (for infant aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your tour consultant for availability.
• Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu Airport on the day of your tour, our friendly guide will greet and pick you up from the airport with a placard showing our Amazing Borneo Logo.
• Standard check-in and check-out times for most hotels & resorts are 1400Hrs & 1200Hrs. However, check-in & check-out times may vary depending on each accommodation. So kindly check with us to get accurate check-in & check-out times of your accommodation.
