Dying Fetus and Suicide Silence to Co-Headline Spring 2023 “Chaos & Carnage” US Tour

The touring bill also features Born of Osiris, Aborted, Sanguisugabogg, Crown Magnetar, and Slay Squad

Dying Fetus and Suicide Silence will co-headline the 2023 edition of the annual “Chaos & Carnage” tour, which heads across the US this spring.

The rest of the tour package is rounded out by a stacked support bill featuring Born of Osiris, Aborted, Sanguisugabogg, Crown Magnetar, and Slay Squad. Dates kick off April 7th in Fort Worth, Texas, and run through April 30th in Anaheim, California.

Ticket pre-sales begin as early as today (January 10th) at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales begin Friday (January 13th) at 10 a.m. local time, and VIP packages available via the “Chaos & Carnage” website next Friday (January 20th) at 10 a.m. local time. You can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster .

“Chaos & Carnage” is now in its fourth year. The tour is curated by Jason Malhoyt of Imperial Artist Management and JJ Cassiere of the 33 and West booking agency, and past packages have featured extreme metal acts such as Carnifex, Lorna Shore, Whitechapel, Revocation, and AngelMaker, among others.

“Looking forward to playing our most brutal set yet on the Chaos & Carnage Tour 2023 this Spring!” remarked Jonathan Gallagher of Dying Fetus via a press release. “We hope to see you all out there in the pit as we co-headline the tour with our friends in Suicide Silence, along with all the other sick bands. See you soon!”

Added Eddie Hermida of Suicide Silence: “We are stoked to be returning to this year’s Chaos & Carnage Tour. We had so much fun last year we decided to come back again with our brothers in Dying Fetus! This year’s line up is pure devastation, so come party with us!”

This is a rant about Hardcore fans and their pit antics. Went to see DF at Metro in SLC and before DF could even take the stage, there was a fight in the crowd and I ended up babysitting guy with a busted nose, instead. St00pid windmills and crowdkill flying kicks. There's rules in the pit, and these guys are just clowns. Glad there wasn't this shit during the Cattle concert but damn, way to ruin shows

The most mind blowing, crushing, heavy experience you can have in your lifetime. Best band ever. I have no idea how three people can be such absolute gods at their instruments but they manage to pull it off and they sound amazing. You have to experience this band live before you die. #fetusforever

Dying Fetus kicked total butt – crushing grooves, frenzied basslines, garbage disposal vocals and drums like an absolute machine. How do they not get tendinitis?! They're an awesome melting pot of death metal bliss, and great to die in the pit when the slam riffs hit.

Spite was brewtal as well – the hardcore anger and energy really rounds out their deathcore-y sound, and their guitar tones are awesome. Also their singer, man...

DYING FETUS announce tour with FULL OF HELL, 200 STAB WOUNDS

Brutal death metal icons Dying Fetus are on a serious tear right now. Their 2023 LP, Make Them Beg for Death , earned them the highest first-week sales of their whole career, and was one of the year's best albums .

Then, they started off 2024 by playing an internet-breaking set at the FYA hardcore fest in Tampa, where spin-kickers and windmillers ruled the pit for a devastating 45 minutes. Fortunately, they have more of that energy in store for 2024.

Today (January 23rd), Dying Fetus have announced a spring North American headlining tour where they'll be joined by hardcore grinders  Full of Hell , death-metal rising stars  200 Stab Wounds , Japanese beatdown demons Kruelty and deathcore breakouts Psycho-Frame.

The trek begins in Silver Spring, Maryland, on April 25th and will hit both coasts of the U.S., and many cities up in Canada, before concluding May 26th in Nashville. 

Full of Hell will be playing most of the dates, while Psycho-Frame will only be hopping on for the last few.

Tickets go live this Friday January 26th at 10 a.m. local, and you can see the full list of dates below.

Death metal overlords DYING FETUS will return with a new album, "Make Them Beg For Death" , on September 8 via Relapse Records .

The official music video for the LP's latest single, "Feast Of Ashes" , directed by Blvckbox Studios , can be seen below.

Recorded in Baltimore with longtime producer Steve Wright and mixed by Mark Lewis ( CANNIBAL CORPSE ), "Make Them Beg For Death" contains every DYING FETUS hallmark. The veteran death metal band;s ninth album is fast, intense, and brimming with unstoppable grooves.

"Make Them Beg For Death" delivers savage beatdowns equally designed to pulverize and mesmerize. "It follows on from where 'Wrong One To Fuck With' left off," drummer Trey Williams promises. "We don't need to participate in the technical death metal arms race. We've got the big guns, and we've proven that. It's all about pointing them in the right direction, so to speak."

Monstrous riffs, blast beats, unstoppable hooks, and earth-moving grooves define their catalog. "We put our own twist on death metal," explains co-vocalist/guitarist John Gallagher . "We were like most bands, starting in the garage, drinking beer, having a little fun on the weekend, finding the right amps through trial and error. We blended aspects of bands we liked — SUFFOCATION , OBITUARY , DEICIDE and CANNIBAL CORPSE , among others; the dual vocal approach of CARCASS — and made them our own. 'Let's make it moshy, let's make it slammy.'"

To the men of DYING FETUS , the mission is straightforward.

"The philosophy is the same now as it was when the band started," Gallagher confirms. "To write catchy riffs and to make it memorable. Whatever style of music you're doing, make it something people want to hear repeatedly."

DYING FETUS returns to the U.S. stages this fall from October 17 to November 19 with THE ACACIA STRAIN , DESPISED ICON , CREEPING DEATH and TACTOSA to support the release of "Make Them Beg For Death" . Tickets are on sale this Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Additionally, DYING FETUS begins its summer European tour at the end of the month on July 25 through August 20.

Dying Fetus + Suicide Silence Book Co-Headlining 2023 Tour With 5 More Bands

It's back! The Chaos & Carnage tour returns for a fourth year, this time pulling in Dying Fetus and Suicide Silence as the co-headliners on the run.

The two headliners will rotate the close spot each night, while a stellar list of support acts will play select dates on the tour. They include Born of Osiris, Aborted, Sanguisugabogg, Crown Mangetar and Slay Squad.

The tour gets underway April 7 in Fort Worth, Texas and quickly shifts to the East Coast before crossing the country and coming to a conclusion April 30 in Anaheim, California. See all of the dates, cities and venues listed at the bottom of this post.

Tickets for the 2023 edition of Chaos & Carnage will go on sale this Friday (Jan. 13) at 10AM local time, while VIP package upgrades will follow on Jan. 20 at 10AM local time via the Chaos & Carnage website .

Suicide Silence are currently working on a new album titled Remember ... You Must Die . After last releasing an album in 2017, Dying Fetus are expected to be working on new music as well.

Death metal vets Dying Fetus are returning with their new album, Make Them Beg for Death , on September 8th. Ahead of its release, the band has shared the NSFW video for lead single “Feast of Ashes.”

For over three decades, Dying Fetus have been pushing death metal to the extreme —  brutal death metal, if you will. “Feast of Ashes” slots right in with the band’s storied discography, delivering a pulverizing onslaught of technical riffs, pinch harmonics, and precise rhythmic timing. The gurgled and growled vocals seep into whatever cracks are left behind in the song’s maximalist arrangement.

“It follows on from where Wrong One to Fuck With left off,” drummer Trey Williams said of the new album, which was produced by Steve Wright. “We don’t need to participate in the technical death metal arms race. We’ve got the big guns, and we’ve proven that. It’s all about pointing them in the right direction, so to speak.”

Speaking of Wrong One to Fuck With , Dying Fetus appear to have used their previous album’s title as the premise for the “Feast of Ashes” video. Not for the faint of heart, the Blvckbox Studios-directed clip depicts a violent revenge murder executed with glee. Viewer discretion is advised.

In support the album’s release, Dying Fetus are embarking on a Fall US headlining tour with a stacked support package including The Acacia Strain, Despised Icon, Creeping Death, and Tactosa. Those dates kick off October 17th in Cincinnati and run through November 18th in Baltimore.
