Shakira Announces El Dorado World Tour

See the dates for the Colombian superstar's "El Dorado" concerts in Europe and the United States, which she announced Tuesday (June 27).

Shakira has announced dates for her El Dorado World Tour. The pop superstar will perform songs from her new album of the same name at over 30 arena concerts in Europe and the United States, she announced Tuesday (June 27).

The tour kicks off in Cologne, Germany, on Nov. 8 and continues until the end of the year in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and other European countries. After a break for the holidays, Shakira is set to open her U.S. tour at Orlando’s Amway Center on Jan. 9, 2018.

El Dorado is currently no. 1 on Billboard’s top Latin Albums chart, following its release on May 26.

Shakira is bringing her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.

Promoted by Live Nation, the tour’s first leg features 14 arena shows across North America kicking off Nov. 2 in Palm Desert, California, with stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn, Chicago and more.

Known for her high-energy performances, Shakira will perform tracks from her new album and her catalog of hits.

Shakira hinted at the tour while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" last month.

Shakira teases 2024 tour at Coachella with Bizarrap

On Friday, she surprised fans at Coachella when she appeared during Bizarrap’s set to perform their global smash hit “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “La Fuerte,” both featured on her new album. Before exiting the stage, Shakira teased the tour news to a roaring crowd .

Coachella marks the second time in the last month that Shakira has surprised fans with a showstopping performance.

Last month, following the album release, Shakira shut down New York City’s Times Square, giving a crowd of more than 40,000 fans a peek into the energy of her live shows when she performed at the TSX Stage.

The performance included such iconic hits as “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Te Felicito/TQG” and “Session 53,” as well as “Puntería” and “Cómo Dónde y Cuándo” from her new album.

Shakira tour 2024 is in support of 'Las Mujeres Ya No Llora' album

The tour is in support of Shakira's new album, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," which within 24 hours of its release became the most streamed album of the year with more than 10 billion streams, and was certified seven times platinum.

The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Album and Latin Pop Album charts, while “Puntería” with Cardi B holds the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Latin Airplay and Latin Pop Airplay charts.

Shakira last played Phoenix in 2018 on the El Dorado World Tour

Shakira last played Phoenix in 2018, when the El Dorado World Tour played that same venue , which was still called Talking Stick Resort Arena at the time.

Since then, she's performed one of the more iconic Super Bowl halftime shows in history with Jennifer Lopez.

Organized walking tours, self-guided tours, and other tours of some of El Dorado County's most interesting places.

El Dorado County Museum Tours

The  El Dorado County Museum  offers free guided tours Wednesday – Sunday, 12 PM-4 PM. No reservations required.

Learn about El Dorado County’s rich history through exhibits, tours, artifacts, and displays.  You’ll find exhibits ranging from Native American tools to mining equipment and wagons from the Gold Rush period.  

Walking Tours of Historic Main Street

The  El Dorado County Historical Society  is conducting guided tours of Historic Main Street by reservation. Groups can schedule a tour by contacting  (530) 626-0773 Wednesday through Sunday between 11 am and 4 pm. Tours can be booked for any day or time, and you will be contacted to confirm your tour date/time prior to your tour occurring.

The tour usually begins at the Fountain & Tallman Museum, 524 Main Street, and lasts about 60 to 90 minutes. The tour guides are dressed in period costumes and describe historic locations on Main Street between Cedar Ravine and Sacramento Street. Although the tour is free, donations to the Fountain & Tallman Museum are encouraged at a suggested rate of $2 per adult or $5 per family.

Ranch Tours

Alpacas of El Dorado : Join them for an educational tour of the ranch and fiber studio. You will be offered an opportunity to mingle with members of the alpaca herd, get your hands into the luscious fiber, and learn how the fiber is processed…from start to finish! Open to individuals, groups, or home schools.

Winery Tours

Miraflores winery tours.

Miraflores Winery is honored to have been voted the region’s best winery and to have received numerous awards from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, the San Francisco Chronicle, and more. So how is it that they’re able to make such prestigious wines? Sign up for one of their  tours  to learn all about what goes into making their award-winning wines.

Tours are currently available Tuesday-Friday, and can accommodate up to 8 people. Please note that you will be charged upon reserving the tour, but may cancel for a refund up to 24 hours prior to the tour. Each tour comes with light snacks. Custom tours are available, and all tours are also available in Spanish.  Email Miraflores  to reserve your tour!

Boeger Winery Tour

Boeger Winery  is one of the most historic and enchanting wineries in the Sierra Foothills. Located on a gold rush era homestead- you will learn about the winery’s early days, prohibition, 1970’s revival, and contemporary winemaking story. The tour includes a sip-n-stroll walking tour of the historical grounds, a vineyard visit, a winery tour, and a private seated tasting of seasonal wines. Limited to 10 people. Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, $35 ($28 club).

Dry Diggins Distillery Tours

Learn, explore, and taste at El Dorado County’s first (legal) distillery.  Dry Diggings Distillery  offers two tours; Show, Taste, Tell, where you’ll learn the answers to burning questions like what makes vodka and what is gin, anyway? and the Distiller’s VIP Tour, a unique, two-hour tour that dives deep into the history of the industry, explains the legal environment of a distilled spirits producer (including definitions of terms), along with their production process and equipment.

Gold Discovery Tours

Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park is pleased to offer visitors guided walking tours! The  Gold Discovery Tour  tells the story and visits the sites of the Coloma Valley before the discovery of gold by James Marshall. Learn about the events leading up to the discovery, the history of the California Gold Rush, and the town of Coloma.

Tours are offered at least twice a day, 11 am and 1 pm, weather permitting. The tour cost is $3.00 per adult and $2.00 per child. There are no tours on event days including Coloma Gold Rush Live and Christmas in Coloma. Visitors are encouraged to come enjoy those events!

The community of Eldorado, Santa Fe is home to a plethora of artists and fine craftspeople. One weekend per year, the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association hosts the annual Eldorado Studio Tour. The roads bloom with flags, signs, and banners which help visitors find and visit artists’ studios. Being able to meet the artist in person, in their creative “natural habitats,” adds a special dimension to collecting art.

The artists also look forward to interacting with visitors. Painter Susan Faust, a first-time participant in the 2021 tour, says, “After working alone in my studio day after day, it was a real joy to have people show up at my door from all over the country. I met wonderful people and had the pleasure of talking about and selling my art to new collectors.” Sculptor and weaver Cindy Bass agrees: “The studio tour is a great way to connect with people who get pleasure from viewing and talking about art.”

Eldorado’s first tour was in 1992 and included twenty-five artists. They are now celebrating their 30th tour with eighty-one artists showing in sixty-two studios. Artists of every medium participate in the studio tour, and the quality is consistently high. As gourd artist Donna Sherry Boggins (Ageless Art Studio) describes it, “A few years ago, when we made the move from Southern California to Eldorado, little did we know that we were embarking on a delightful adventure into this amazing art scene! To this day, I am humbled by the level of talent and creative diversity found in this beautiful artist enclave.”

Since moving to Eldorado, Donna has become very active in the tour and has co-chaired the tour’s preview gallery for several years. Located at the Eldorado Community Center, the preview gallery features works by each artist. This helps visitors select which studios they want to visit. A brochure with a map of the studios is available for pick up, and works in the preview gallery are available for purchase.

The community of Eldorado has always been supportive of the tour, and the EACA returns that support. At the end of the tour, each artist is invited to contribute 5% of their sales (up to a limit of $75) to the EACA, which uses that money to support various community activities. In past years, EACA has contributed more than $30,000 to organizations such as the library, the fire department, the senior center, school art programs, and 285 Recycles.

Studios are open from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25. The preview gallery remains open all weekend from 9 am to 5 pm at the Eldorado Community Center, 1 Hacienda Loop, Santa Fe.

Started by a small group of local artists in 1990 who banded together to launch the first studio tour, the nonprofit association has grown to include more than 150 artists and provides a forum for artists in the Eldorado community to share ideas, expand their knowledge, build relationships with other artists, and promote the arts in the community.

Your Eldorado Canyon Experience

Your Eldorado Canyon ATV adventure begins with a guided tour of the Old Savage Mine .  Then, head to Eldorado Canyon for a tour through the famous Eldorado Gold Mine .

After your Eldorado Gold Mine tour, you’re off to the desert for an ATV adventure! Following a brief safety demonstration, you’ll be fitted for helmets. Then you’re on your way to the trails to experience the spectacular scenery of the southwest desert up close.

Return to Las Vegas in time for your afternoon plans!

A complimentary meal and refreshments will be provided for you on this tour.

Please Note: Comfortable clothing and footwear is advised on all of our tours.

Children between 7-16 years of age must ride on a Razor with a guide or parent. Please be advised that this is a sightseeing tour, not a race.

To ensure your comfort, safety, and enjoyment, make sure to wear or bring the following items:

• Close-toed shoes or boots – no open-toed shoes or sandals are permitted!
• Weather appropriate clothing
• Hat or visor
