The only good thing about the place is that alcohol is not prohibited unlike neighbouring state of Gujarat (probably that's why they do good business) Having said that the drive to Daman from Mumbai is very pleasant, for that and just for that I may go there again some time but will stay at a classier place next time.

It's a beautiful little city with loveable people. But you feel that the Gujarat government has ignored Kutch for a long time now. The development is less, places like pragmahal and ainamahal are in dismal state. Hamirsar lake is full of garbage. In all a little effort from the government and little want from the people is needed.

people of rajkot are very easy going and patient. they extend lot of warmth and love. the traffic sense may be terrible but they don’t lose their head like we do in mumbai over every little thing that goes wrong on the road. the food and ice creams are amazing but that’s how it goes in Gujarat. I would say the people are very warm and polite in Rajkot. Was also pleasantly surprised with how clean the city was overall.

Not clean as advertised. Not much to do except the beach and a few other things around. The city is crowded and being small it just balloons with the number of visitors. Okay for people from Gujarat who want to drink and make merry.

location is beautiful and probably best. rooms are good in size. u get free cookies and a box of munchies in the room along with regular tea coffee. they have only one restaurant, which is nice but open with fans, it spreads to the lawn which is nicely decorated and have live music in the evening on weekends. food is really delicious in the restaurant. Although in breakfast buffet choices were more Gujarati food and less continental. look for sea facing duplex rooms which are on the top floor gives better views.

Hotel Sadbhav Villa

Located in newer part of the city- plenty of shops in the area. Not crowded. The room was spacious and clean - exactly as shown in the pictures on the site. The bathroom was clean. Bonus - we got the room overlooking the mandir, so it was very soothing to leave the curtains open and take in the view. The staff was polite and attentive. Athough the breakfast was limited (not a spread) and delivered to the room (puri, chole, poha, dhokla), it was the most delicious breakfast we enjoyed in our stay in Gujarat.

The hotel is fairly new, has gym facilities, they allow Un- married couples to stay, staff were extremely helpful and attended to all our needs Asap. Initial room occupied by us had a slight drainage issue so our room was upgraded and changed immediately. The breakfast and Buffet dinner was delicious , excellent and such good value for money, with a variety of Gujarati dishes especially to choose from. would definitely recommend to others and re- consider staying here again.

A Wonderfull modern and clean place in a busy building area , India in 2050 is not so far , very good restaurant , a real choice Veg or Non Veg ("Dry" as always in Gujarat) We stayed 4 nights and were the only , or it seems, foreign tourists , (this hotel is new and mainly for business men) . I am travelling along with my family from past 9 days in gujarat, in some hotels where I stayed either rooms were small or in poor condition but in this hotel there’s balance of everything. Location was superb within the original old town area, indeed offering walking tours of all the remaining world heritage rated housing.
