Specifications Definitions

GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) – is the maximum permissible weight, including cargo, fluids, optional equipment and accessories that can be safely supported by a combination of all axles.

UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight)* - is the typical weight of the unit as manufactured at the factory. It includes all weight at the unit’s axle(s) and tongue or pin and LP Gas. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh potable water, additional optional equipment or dealer installed accessories. *Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity)** - is the amount of weight available for fresh potable water, cargo, additional optional equipment and accessories. CCC is equal to GVWR minus UVW. Available CCC should accommodate fresh potable water (8.3 lbs per gallon). Before filling the fresh water tank, empty the black and gray tanks to provide for more cargo capacity. **Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

Each Forest River RV is weighed at the manufacturing facility prior to shipping. A label identifying the unloaded vehicle weight of the actual unit and the cargo carrying capacity is applied to every Forest River RV prior to leaving our facilities.

The load capacity of your unit is designated by weight, not by volume, so you cannot necessarily use all available space when loading your unit.

The best RBs for 2024 fantasy football according to our analysts

Christian McCaffrey is expected to be the top pick at running back — and the No. 1 overall pick, in general — for fantasy purposes. No surprise there, especially if he (hopefully) stays healthy throughout training camp. So, who goes No. 2?

How about Breece Hall or Bijan Robinson? Two young, electrifying RBs expected to have better ecosystems than they did last year?

Will one of the rookie RBs — Johnathan Brooks, Trey Benson, Blake Corum — show out after a startlingly low-hype rookie class?

Our fantasy football analysts try to answer this season's pressing draft questions, laying out their half-point-per-reception running back rankings.

2024 NFL Draft: Fantasy Football Day 2 and 3 preview includes RB, WR, TE sleepers, landing spots and more

A record 23 offensive players were drafted in Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft . There are still plenty left that Fantasy Football managers, particularly those who play Dynasty Fantasy Football , should be excited about. There are running backs and wide receivers who should be in Fantasy Football lineups for years to come. There may even be a couple of tight ends. The only position that feels set is quarterback, with Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Michael Penix, J.J. McCarthy, and Bo Nix all getting selected in the first half of Round 1. We will at least be watching where Spence Rattler lands, but not with the expectation he will be a starter in the NFL or any Fantasy Football league.

Below is a look at the players still available after Round 1 to whom Fantasy managers need to pay attention. We'll start with the position that didn't see any players selected in Round 1: running back.

Running back

We didn't expect any running backs to be drafted on Thursday night, but we expect that will change on Friday. What we don't have is a great feel for who will go on Day 2 and who will last until Day 3. That information will make all the difference when it comes to Dynasty rookie ADP.

Jonathon Brooks would be a surefire pick early on Friday night if he hadn't torn his ACL at Texas. While Brooks' recovery is reportedly going very well, he's not expected to be a full participant in his first NFL offseason. Brooks' production before 2023 was limited by the presence of Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson. When Brooks did get the opportunity last year, he hit the ground running. He averaged 6.1 yards per carry last season and topped 100 total yards in eight straight games. His eight-catch game against Houston highlights the fact that Brooks has the best three-down profile in this class. if Brooks goes to the Cowboys on Friday night he'll be a Round 1 rookie pick and top 20 Dynasty running back despite the ACL concerns. The fact that Brooks is only 20 years old is also a boon to his potential Dynasty value. Just get (and stay) healthy.

If Brooks has the most upside in the class, I'd say Trey Benson has the highest NFL Draft floor. If I had to pick a "most likely back to get drafted on Friday night", it would be Benson. He's also the back I give the best odds to be a must-start running back early in 2024, at least until we get draft capital and landing spot. While he wasn't quite as impressive or explosive as Brooks, Benson also showed three-down potential in his time at Florida State. And like Brooks, he's a first-round rookie pick if he lands in a favorable spot on Friday night.

Since Jim Harbaugh took the Chargers job we've speculated that he would draft Blake Corum, his former back at Michigan, on Day 2 of the NFL Draft . That speculation has cooled a bit now that the Ravens added both Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins. It appears they've favored Greg Roman's former backs over Harbaugh's. Still, that speculation points to a larger truth, Corum is likely to be a coach's favorite in the NFL , maybe even the kind of guys coaches like more than Fantasy managers. Expect Corum to be an early down back, maybe even a goal line specialist, but he probably won't be a 50-catch guy. Unless he's the first back off the board on Friday, I would expect Corum to settle into Round 2 of rookie drafts.

Other backs to watch for on Friday night: Jaylen Wright, Marshawn Lloyd, Braelon Allen

Deeper sleepers for Saturday: Audric Estime, Ray Davis, Bucky Irving

Top running back landing spots: Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals , Las Vegas Raiders

Wide receiver

In Round 1 we saw Marvin Harrison, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas, Xavier Worthy, Ricky Pearsall, and Xavier Legette all come off the board. I would expect we will see even more pass catchers on Day 2. While I don't know who the first will be, I would bet on it being one of these guys.

Ladd McConkey could be taken as soon as the first pick of Friday night. The 22-year-old played second fiddle to Brock Bowers at Georgia the past couple of years, but more than made up for his lack of gaudy stats with an impressive combine. He's a better deep wide receiver than you might guess, averaging 15.9 yards per catch last year. If the Bills draft him in Round 2 he will vault ahead of some of the Round 1 wide receivers in rookie drafts. If he goes to a less desirable spot, he'll be a Round 2 value in rookie drafts.

Like McConkey, Adonai Mitchell had a teammate drafted in Round 1, Xavier Worthy. Mitchell is a polarizing prospect because the analytics aren't great but the physical profile is hard to ignore. He's still just 21 years old and he possesses 4.3 speed at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds. That last sentence alone was enough to have some people projecting Mitchell in Round 1, so it would be surprising if he isn't picked early on Friday evening. Mitchell will slot somewhere between pick 12 and pick 20 depending on how high he goes and how much we like his landing spot. Even early in Round 2 of rookie drafts, he's a boom-bust pick.

If McConkey helped his stock at the combine, Troy Franklin likely did not. He can absolutely fly and he caught 81 passes for 1,383 yards and 14 touchdowns at Oregon last year. But he has size concerns, and his Combine performance wasn't quite what he was hoping for. If Buffalo was willing to trade out of Round 1 when Worthy was available, it might be because they think Franklin is just as good. Or they may be looking for a bigger receiver like Mitchell. Expect Franklin to be a mid-second-round rookie pick unless he's picked very early on Friday. He's a very different receiver than Mitchell, but shares a boom-bust profile,

Other receivers to watch for on Friday night: Keon Coleman, Roman Wilson, Malachi Corley, Ja'Lynn Polk, Javon Baker

Deeper sleepers for Saturday: Malik Washington, Jermaine Burton, Johnny Wilson

Top wide receiver landing spots: Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots

After Brock Bowers this draft class is full of questions with very few certain answers. If a tight end is drafted in Round 2 of the NFL Draft, then he will sneak into Round 2 of rookie drafts. More likely, these guys are going to be Round 3 picks or later. How you rank them depends on what you value. Theo Johnson has the best size-speed-athleticism. Ben Sinnott stands out when you contextualize his production within the Kansas State offense. Ja'Tavion Sanders passes the eye test. I lean toward Johnson before the draft, but even more than running back I am going to lean on draft capital and situational fit. I'm also going to be very hesitant to draft any of these guys in the top 30 picks of any rookie draft that isn't tight end premium.

Tight ends to watch for on Friday night: Theo Johnson, Ben Sinnott, Ja'Tavion Sanders, Tanner McLachlan, Cade Stover

Deeper sleepers for Saturday: Jaheim Bell, Erick All, Tip Reiman

Top tight end landing spots: Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts

F1 Sprint Qualifying Results: Miami Grand Prix 2024 times as Ricciardo STUNS and Hamilton fails

rb travel 2024

Max Verstappen took pole for Saturday's sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix with a less than perfect lap, but Daniel Ricciardo was the real winner of the session – grabbing a stunning fourth place.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell were both eliminated in the second part of qualifying, each finishing a few hundredths of a second outside the top 10.

Logan Sargeant was eliminated in SQ1 at his home grand prix, with he and Williams team-mate Alex Albon finishing dead bottom of the time sheets in the first competitive session of the weekend.

Albon's fastest lap was deleted – although he was set to be eliminated either way – leaving him languishing behind his under-pressure team-mate.

Charles Leclerc was the first driver on the track after his free practice session was cut short just a few minutes after the start, spinning and leaving his Ferrari stranded far from the pits.

However, the Monegasque had no issues getting through to SQ2, comfortably planting his car in the top 15.

How does F1 Sprint Qualifying work?

The shortened qualifying session is split into three finite windows, which provide a dramatic prelude to Saturday's sprint race.

The bottom five drivers are eliminated at the end of SQ1, with a further five eliminated after SQ2.

Then SQ3 gives us a shootout between the remaining 10 drivers in the battle for positions at the front of the grid.

Airbnb 2024 Summer Release highlights

Key Takeaways

  • Over the past five years, we’ve launched over 90 unique experiences inspired by some of the most beloved people and places in the world. In 2023 alone, we launched 35 of these stays which have garnered over 4.7 million views.
  • Given this demand and excitement, we took our learnings from over the years to build a brand new category - Icons - with new experiences dropping throughout the year.
  • More than 80% of bookings on Airbnb are group trips so we're introducing new features including shared wishlists, trip invitations, and group messaging to make planning group trips easier than ever.
  • With over 5 million Hosts on our platform, we’re making it easier for them to dynamically track their earnings, switch between accounts, and adjust their home photo tours in the Listings tab.

Introducing Icons

A new category of extraordinary experiences hosted by the world’s greatest icons across music, film, television, art, sports, and more.

  • Over the past five years, we’ve launched more than 90 1 one-of-a-kind stays and experiences available only on Airbnb across movies, sport, gaming, food, music and more. In 2023 alone, we launched 35 of these stays which garnered over 4.7 million views 2 .
  • Given this demand and excitement, we took our learnings from over the years to build a brand new category – Icons – with new experiences dropping throughout the year 3 .
  • Home Alone (Chicago, IL, United States)
  • Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse – Ken’s Way (Malibu, CA, United States)
  • Shrek’s Swamp (Scotland, United Kingdom)
  • Hocus Pocus (Danvers, MA, United States)
  • Mystery Machine (Malibu, CA, United States)

New features for group trips

Planning group trips is easier than ever with shared wishlists, group messaging in a redesigned Messages tab, and digital trip invitation postcards.

  • More than 80% of bookings on Airbnb are group trips 5 , which is why we’re introducing new features to help make planning trips with friends and family easier.
  • Traveling can offer family and friends a way to have fun, connect with each other, and create cherished memories. National parks, Beach, Amazing pools, Amazing views, and Iconic cities are the top 5 categories booked for group trips 5 suggesting Airbnb guests traveling in groups love to travel to iconic cities for trips that are adventurous and relaxing.
  • London, Great Britain
  • Paris, France
  • Rome, Italy
  • Lisbon, Portugal
  • Melbourne, Australia
  • Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Budapest, Hungary
  • Cape Town, South Africa

Shared wishlists

  • Guests are constantly discovering, and saving, wonderful listings on Airbnb using wishlists. Since we launched the feature over a decade ago, guests have created over 1.2 billion wishlists 9 to help them plan their trips.
  • Shared wishlists are a great and convenient place to start planning a group trip. However, guests often still share individual links with friends when trying to decide on the best home for their trip. In fact, over a million listing links were shared a day on average in the last year 10 . Starting today, when we detect guests have shared three or more listing links, we’ll create a wishlist of those listings, which can be shared with co-travelers to help make organizing trips even easier.
  • While shared wishlists are a great tool for planning group trips, only 1% of group bookings have come from shared wishlists so we’re making it easier to create and collaborate with co-travelers. Now invited co-travelers can leave notes and vote on their favorite listings to make the decision process easier and bookings quicker.
  • Every group has an unsung hero – the person who makes it their mission to ensure the group has the perfect space to enjoy their trip. On Airbnb women create 75% more shared wishlists than men 12 .

Trip invitations

  • Less than 1 in 10 group trips have a co-traveler who joined a reservation 13 , making it the primary booker’s job to answer many logistical questions from co-travelers and bear the sole responsibility of communicating with the Host. We want to help change that.
  • Starting today, once a trip is booked, we’re making it easier and fun for the primary booker to invite co-travelers to the reservation with digital postcards illustrated by artists from around the world. These postcards invite co-travelers to join the trip, see important details like check-in and wifi details, and join a group chat with their Host.

Messaging

  • Messaging is an important part of the Airbnb experience. Over 15 billion messages have been sent on Airbnb 14 and in the last year alone, 3 billion messages were sent 15 . As a result, we’re redesigning the inbox tool and making it easier to see and quickly engage with messages in our new Messages tab.
  • Now all guest, Host, and support messages are conveniently in one place with a unified search, chat members can use emoji reactions, and Hosts can use AI-suggested quick replies to efficiently respond to frequently asked questions about check-in, checkout, and more.

Upgrades for Hosts

We’ve improved the earnings dashboard, updated the Listings tab to give Hosts more control, and added a simple way to quickly switch between the guest and Host sides of the app.

  • In 2023, Hosts on Airbnb earned more than $57 billion USD and the earnings dashboard was visited over 7 million times by Hosts 16 . Knowing how important earnings are to Hosts, we’re making the earnings dashboard even more interactive, with extra insights such as occupancy rates, nights booked, and average guests and nightly stays. And for the first time, Hosts can break down their earnings by listings.
  • Since launching AI-powered photo tours in the Listings tab last fall, 2 million listings on Airbnb now feature a photo tour giving guests a better understanding of their Host’s home 17 . Hosts know what parts of their homes make it attractive to guests so we’re giving them the opportunity to edit the order of photos in a Listing tab photo tour to highlight the best parts of their home.
  • In the past year, 36% of Hosts also stayed in an Airbnb 18 so we’re making it easier to get the best of both worlds and allowing them to easily switch between their Host and guest profiles.

Independent Travel to Moscow and St. Petersburg

My wife and I have traveled independently to many European countries and, after reading many of the comments in this forum, feel like we may be able to do so in Moscow and St. Petersburg as well, although we feel somewhat less comfortable than the other countries where we have traveled in Europe.

My biggest question is how much we will miss by visiting the main sites without a tour guide. In the other European countries we have visited on our own we have been comfortable and satisfied with the level of knowledge we have gained by studying and visiting on our own, although we believe a tour guide or tour company in any country would normally be able to provide greater insight than visiting a site on our own, but about in Moscow and St. Petersburg?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Unless you speak at least some Russian and read the alphabet it would be difficult without a guide. Very few signs in English especially in Moscow. Also not too many people speak English there.

I visited St Petersburg last Autumn for a protracted period , and did not find it anymore daunting than any other European city . As Ilja says , learning the Cyrillic alphabet is a big plus . I also found that it was fairly easy to grasp . It will , among other things , enable you to read signs with relative ease . I would answer the main part or your question ( about tour guides ) thus - I am not enamored of tour guides or tours. While I only use a tour under duress ( A sites rules prohibiting an independent visit - ie Glasgow School of Art , Municipal House in Prague , etc ) . Doing your own preparation and homework is the best way , in my opinion . My wife and I ventured through St Petersburg with nary a concern ,and made two day trips outside of the central district ( one was twenty five miles away , and no English speakers in sight ) Figuring out the logistical details , did not present any difficulties . While I never use tours , I am an inveterate eavesdropper , have done so many times , and find , that on balance , the information that they impart is fairly elementary . If you want greater detail , they are unlikely to supply it . I also prefer to go at my own pace , not being rushed and being able to dwell on things that most other visitors barely give a passing glance . If you are interested , let me know . I would be happy to provide you with information that will enable you to travel independently

Thank you, Steven. I am encouraged by your comments and feel the same way you do about tour groups. We are very much willing to prepare in advance and learn the basics of the Cyrillic alphabet to help us have a better experience.

I would be very interested in learning more about your experience in Russia and receiving any additional information you can provide on independent travel there, starting perhaps with obtaining the visa.

I am not opposed to hiring a private or small group guide for a specific site or for a day trip outside St Petersburg and Moscow, but, like you said, I much prefer the freedom of staying at places as long or short as I want and seeing the sites that interest me most. For example, neither my wife nor I are big into shopping, yet most tour itineraries leave afternoon time for just that. Not interested!

Please provide whatever you may feel would be helpful for us.

Russ , I see you are quite near San Francisco - you can start by looking at the VISA procedure , it's fairly straightforward . Since there is a consulate in San Francisco - look here http://www.consulrussia.org/eng/visa-sub1.html

And here - http://ils-usa.com/main.php

Having always traveled independently, we thought we could do a better job than any tour. How misguided (pun intended) we were. Now that we have had the experience of having someone native to the area walk us around and explain things through a personal perspective we realize how much we missed. For St. Petersburg I highly recommend http://www.peterswalk.com/tours.html . This is not a traditional guided tour, but an opportunity to receive some orientation to the area as well as insight into the "Russian soul". I think if you did this upon arrival the rest of your time would be much more meaningful. We really liked the http://www.pushka-inn.com . The location is superb (just around the corner from the Hermitage square), the rooms lovely, the included breakfast at the restaurant next door ample and overall an excellent value. We used this company to get our visa: https://www.passportvisasexpress.com/site/san_francisco_customer_service Note that it costs about the same for a 3-year visa as a one-year, and you never know if you might want to return within that more extended window of time. It is not cheap, so factor that into your planning.

If you like traveling without a guide in other countries and find this satisfying, the same will be true in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Of course it's not either/or - you can certainly take a guided walk or boat tour, for instance.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of learning Cyrillic if you're going on your own. The book I used was Teach Yourself Beginner's Russian Script, which was great. It breaks down the alphabet into letters that are the same as English, letters that look the same but are pronounced differently, etc. It's out of print, but you can get used copies on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Teach-Yourself-Beginners-Russian-Script/dp/0071419861/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1459701143&sr=8-2&keywords=teach+yourself+russian+script

Russia is indeed a bit more "foreign" than say, Italy. However, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, I found enough English to be able to get by. Many restaurants had English menus and/or English speaking staff, for instance. This was most emphatically not true in Vladimir and Suzdal (two cities in the Golden Ring outside Moscow). I went with my sister, a Russian speaker, and if she hadn't been there, I would have been in big trouble. So, if you want to see places outside these two big cities, use a guided tour (even if just for that part). Also, Moscow and St. Petersburg are huge cities. Coming from New York, I wasn't intimidated, but those not used to a megacity may not be so cavalier (even I found them overwhelming at times, especially Moscow).

I found both Lonely Planet and Rough Guide to be helpful, and both to have various errors. Look at both, buy whichever one has a more recent edition, and then be prepared to have to discard some of the advice therein. Also, these places change more quickly than places in Western Europe. Be very careful of outdated advice. For instance, I was there in 2001 and 2010, so I won't give you any specifics on getting a visa - that changes constantly.

Just as a teaser, two things I saw and loved that I doubt would be included in any escorted tour are the Gorky House in Moscow (an Art Nouveau wonder) and the Sheremyetov Palace in St. Petersburg (it's now a museum of musical instruments, and the decor is amazing, particularly in the Etruscan Room).

Thanks for all the good advice. Any additional thoughts are welcomed.

One of history's seminal works pertaining to Russian history and culture and a MUST for anyone contemplating a visit or simply interested , is this fine work from 1980 - http://www.amazon.com/Land-Firebird-The-Beauty-Russia/dp/096441841X

This is about you and not about Petersburg. Do you like guided tours? We don't and didn't find that a guide added to our experience in China where we did hire private guides mostly for the logistics; it was easy to have someone drive us places. But once at a site, we didn't need the guide. I felt the same way about our 9 nights in Petersburg. We did hire a guide for the trip to the Catherine Palace again for the ease of logistics for us Olds. Here is our visit: https://janettravels.wordpress.com/2016/01/23/an-easy-trip-to-the-catherine-palace/ There are also snapshots of the Church on Spilled Blood in this photo journal. Having someone pick us up at the apartment and get us in without line ups and shepherd us through the palace steering clear of the tour groups was lovely. But we didn't need commentary because we can read and prepare.

You certainly don't need a guide for the Hermitage (we spent 4 days there), the Russian Museum, the Kazan Cathedral or Church on Spilled Blood or the Faberge Museum. We enjoyed a number of self guided walking tours including a couple from Rick Steves guidebooks. We took the canal cruise suggested by RS that had an English commentator. I would not take one without that as you will be totally clueless. The commentator was not all that good but at least we had some idea what we were seeing. So for people like us who like to do our own thing and can read a guidebook and don't particularly like to be led about, a tour is not needed. If you enjoy tour groups, then go for it. Petersburg is easy to negotiate. It helps if you can read the cyrillic alphabet and it is also useful to have the google translate ap on your phone. We found ourselves translating packages in grocery stores with it and the occasional museum sign or menu. I have one food I need to avoid and so it was handy to have the translator to talk with waiters (I could either show them the sentence, or play it for them or play it to myself and then repeat it to the waiter -- that all worked well)

Dear Russ, I cannot help you with Moscow, but about four years ago, my husband and I went to St Petersburg on our own. But, we did use a private guide for 4 half days. We both feel that our guide absolutely made our trip (we stayed 6 or 7 nights). We used a company owned by Tatyana Chiurikova, www.tour-stpetersburg.com I cannot say enough good things about her and our experience. I emailed her and we worked out a schedule/ sights that was tailored to our interests. She also offered some recommendations, which we took. The guide will meet you at your hotel. And frequently, at certain places, with the guide, we were able to skip the long entrance lines. We had an half day driving tour of the city (car, driver, & guide). You are taken to & go in places such as Peter & Paul Fortress, some of the cathedrals, etc. We had a half day with the guide at the Hermitage which ensured that we would see the major sights there. And, of course, you can stay after your guide leaves or return another day. Also, we had the guide for Peterhof (a must & go by boat) and Catherine's Palace. I hope that you will go to the website. As I said, our guide made our trip. I am positive that we would have missed quite a bit on our own everyday. And I'm sure we would have wasted a lot of time trying to get to various place. This was the best of both worlds, a guide where needed and plenty of time on our own. Whatever you do, I'm sure that you will love St Petersburg! Ashley

I am curious about the lines as we encountered no lines on our trip -- but it was in September. We got tickets for the Hermitage at machines and skipped those lines and our guide for the Catherine Palace which was our only guided experience (as noted before, chosen for the logistics of getting there) had arranged tickets and we didn't have a line, but then we also didn't see lines. We did not find lines at any other site.

Both Moscow and St Petersburg I've done on my own, that is together with the Dear Partner. I can't remember any problem getting where we wanted to go. The Metro systems are well signed, and with a little exercise and patience you can recognize the station names. With a good map and a good guide - we had the Rough Guides - that part of the logistics is solved. The language is a major problem, but the usual tricks of pointing, looking helpless, and making a joke of it all do wonders. I would hate to be led by a guide, but for others it is a comfortable thought.

We also did both cities on our own. I found the DK Eyewitness guide for Moscow has the best map. I used the one from our library (kept the book at home). Took the smaller RS book for St. Petersburg ( his book on northern cities). His map and restaurant ideas were all good. We also downloaded the Google maps in our Android Samsung tablets/phones for both cities and then could get directions to any place we typed in. The blue ball guided us everywhere. I'm sure we missed somethings by not having a guide, but we just enjoy walking around and getting a sense of a place. If you like art, The Hermitage is great. We went 3 times and still missed alot. In St. Peterburg we stayed at the 3 Mosta which we loved (quite and not far from the Church of Spilled Blood.) We also loved the Georgian food in both cities. There's a great Georgian restaurant near the 3 Mosta hotel. We're now in Belarus- very scenic. Enjoy your trip!!
