Day 01: Kota Kinabalu International Airport / KK City Night Cruise (Dinner) Selamat Datang to Kota Kinabalu! Meet and greet our representative upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Free at your leisure. In the late afternoon, pick me up from the hotel and transfer to Sutera Jetty for the KK City night cruise. Dine and dance the night away under the starry skies as you take in the sights and sounds of the city's waterfront and shimmering skyline. The finale of a perfect evening occurs as you cruise by the Kota Kinabalu waterfront to see the beautiful city lights from an angle you have never witnessed before. Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 02: Kellybays (Breakfast, Lunch) After breakfast, at 0815 hours, pick up from the hotel and transfer to Kellybays, about a 45-minute leisure drive from Kota Kinabalu. It is located within a mangrove forest with a seven km-long beach overlooking the South China Sea. The Borneo Kellybays offers adventurous activities such as volleyball, challenging games, water sport (Banana Boat, Bamboo Rafting, Surfing), fishing, blowpipe, and crab catching. After a full day of thrilling adventure for a change of pace, chill out while learning the art of batik painting or see a cooking demonstration.

Day 03: Mari-Mari Cultural Village / Kiulu White Water Rafting (Breakfast, Lunch, Hi-Tea) After breakfast, 0915am, pick up from the hotel and transfer to Mari-Mari Cultural Village, about 30 minutes drive. Mari-Mari Cultural Village is a cultural excursion of a lifetime. In the village, you will be introduced to various traditional homes of Sabahan ethnic communities, The Bajau, Lundayeh, Murut, Rungus, and Dusun, built by descendants of the tribes they represent. Your friendly excursion guide will also give thorough introductions to the houses, making it a highly educational experience. For a more hands-on experience, check out the little huts in the village where daily routines traditional of Sabahan life come alive. Grab the chance to see a blowpipe-making demonstration, a fire-starting demonstration using bamboo, and a tattoo-making demonstration, and get an in-depth look at the mystical symbolisms behind them. Important Notes

• Child below the ages of 12 years old must be accompanied by parents/guardians.
• A quota for Sipadan Island's entry permit of 250 persons per day issued by Sabah Park is applicable and approval is not guaranteed if daily quota has exceeded. However, your chance of getting approval is higher if you stay longer (i.e. 3 nights and above).
• Approval will be issued a day early so knowing in advance is not possible. If the approval has been granted on any day, the resort will bring the guest to dive at a fee payable to the resort.
• The resort will try their best to apply for the guest's entry permit. Should there be any conservation work by government, Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort, SabahTravel or Tour Operators hold no responsibility for not being able to dive in Sipadan.
• An extended night's stay is permitted subject to accommodation availability.
• Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort cannot predict weather conditions for scuba diving even during the best season.
• Your safety is always top priority. Should weather or sea conditions deem it unsafe to proceed for this tour, the resort reserve the right to change or cancel the tour. Refunds will be made accordingly.
• Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort will not be held responsible or liable for property losses, personal losses, accidents, injury, or death for any reason whatsoever, whether through activities booked with us or caused by third parties.
• All guests are required to read and sign a Standard Liability Form and other related forms at the resort upon arrival and check-in.
• It is recommended that if you intend to go scuba diving, make sure you have an insurance policy that covers this activity.
• Please check you have the required travel documents before booking your dive trip. Ensure that your passport has at least 6 months validity from your time of entry into Malaysia.

Additional Information

• Boat journey to the island may not be suitable for individuals suffering from the following ailments: heart or lung conditions, recent surgery, back or spinal surgery, back problems / injury / fracture, arthritis, osteoporosis or other similar spinal and pelvic diseases.
• Your belongings may get wet so do bring along waterproof bags to keep your belongings nice and dry!
• Before going out to have some fun under the sun, do bring along a SPF50+ sunscreen / sunblock and an umbrella to protect your skin from sunburns.
• Though it is never expected, tipping is always appreciated.
• Please note chalets are a mixture of air-conditioned and fan only rooms, and are assigned run-of-house basis (first come, first served) by the resort.

One of the best resorts we’ve stayed in so far. We took 3d2n package with breakfast, lunch & din provided. Food given large quantity, esp seafood & service was fine. Stayed in Garden Villa chalet. Very clean & comfortable. Housekeeping crew came to clean, very prompt & quick. Clean & nice beach, about 20 paces away from room, as well as clean pool, about 10 paces from room. Surrounding well kept. Resort is, of course, not new but it’s more than adequate to unwind & relax. Came during off-peak season & feels like you have whole resort to yourself! Thank you to staff for memorable holiday.

Booking deposit* (non-refundable) of the full payment should be paid after your booking has been verified by Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours. Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel your booking if you fail to make a full-payment 45 days before travelling dates.

* 30% or more deposit is required at time of booking as it depends on type of package.

* RM 1000/person for group series muslim tour package with travelling date more than 3 months.

• Upon registration and confirmation of airline ticket request, Traveller must remit full payment for airline ticket according to the dateline as advised by the person-in-charge in AMI Travel.
• For ground and other payments, traveler must remit booking deposit (a 100 % non-refundable) of 30% from the package price (excluding airline ticket) within three (3) days after registration or according to the dateline advised by person- in- charge in AMI. Balance payment must be made thirty (45) days prior to departure date or according to the dateline as advised by the person-in-charge in AMI.
• No changes can be made within 48 days before departure
• If participant wants to come back later or earlier than the expected date of arrival in Malaysia, participant must send an e-mail or letter 45 days before the travelling dates and it is subject to the discretion of Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours. However, Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to reject or accept it.
• If allowed, any additional cost is participant’s responsibilities. Participant also will be charged for admin fee.

Cancellation

• Booking cancellation from the participant should be done through email or letter and must be sent to Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours for avoiding any misunderstanding

• Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to amend the itinerary without prior notice.

Mataking Island Sabah Package includes airport transfers, return boat transfers from Semporna Jetty, 3 nights stays at Mataking Island – the home to Malaysia’s first underwater post office.

During your stay in Mataking Island, you have a chance to do a day tour to Sipadan Island with a minimum 3 nights stay in Mataking Island. According to local rules, you need a minimum stay of 3 nights in Mataking Island to have a one day tour to Sipadan Island.

In another word, Sipadan Island Package means = 3 nights stay at Mataking Island or Mabul Island before you can go to Sipadan Island. Our Mataking 4 days 3 nights is the ideal package you need for you to go to Sipadan Island.

Day 1: Tawau - Semporna - Mataking

Lunch, Dinner

00.00hrs: Arrive at Tawau Airport. Transfer to Semporna Jetty. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.

NOTES: It is advisable to arrive Tawau airport by 10.30 hrs or 13.30 hrs to catch speedboat which will depart from Semporna Jetty at 12.00 hrs and 15.30 hrs.

00.00 hrs:  Arrive at Semporna Jetty. Transfer by speedboat to Mataking Island . Boat ride takes approximately 40 minutes.

00.00hrs Arrive at The Reef Dive Resort. Welcome drink. Check in.

Day 2: Mataking Island

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

07.00 hrs: Breakfast at restaurant resort.

09.00 hrs: Free and easy at own leisure. You can enjoy snorkeling or diving at own time.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner at hotel. Coffee, tea, cordial drinks are provided at all time throughout the stay in The Reef Dive Resort.

Day 3: Mataking Island

You are entitle to do the Sipadan Island Day Tour with minimum 3 days 2 nights stay in Mataking Reef Dive Resort.

If you wish to do the Sipadan Island Day Tour , read below, it will be at additional charges:

1 Person: RM 1,340.00 per person 2 Persons: RM 740.00 per person 3 Persons: RM 540.00 per person 4 Persons: RM 440.00 per person 5 Persons: RM 400.00 per person 6 Persons: RM 370.00 per person

How to calculate? Means, if on the day you wish to go to Sipadan only have 1 guest, then you have to pay RM 1340 + RM 140 (Permit Fees) = RM 1489.

If there is 6 person wants to go, including yourself, then you pay only RM 370 + RM 140 = RM 510.  Maximum is 6 person in the boat to go Sipadan from Mataking Island.

Trip Schedule 07:00hrs – Breakfast at Restaurant 07:30hrs – Boat transfer to Sipadan Island 09:00hrs – Expected arrival at Sipadan Island and report to Sabah Park. 1st dive/Boat snorkeling 11:00hrs – Estimated 2nd dive / boat snorkeling 12:00hrs – Lunch (packed from resort) 13:30hrs – Estimated 3rd dive / boat snorkeling 15:00hrs – Boat transfer back to Mataking Resort 16:30hrs – Expected arrival back to Mataking Resort

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and afternoon tea will be provided in the resort.

Day 4: Mataking Island - Semporna Jetty - Tawau Airport

11.00 hrs: Check out. Transfer from Mataking Island to Semporna Jetty .

Note: Boat out time are 11.00 hrs and 14.00 hrs.

12.00 hrs: Arrive at Semporna Jetty. Transfer from Semporna Jetty to Tawau airport. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.

13.00 hrs: Arrive at Tawau airport . Tour ends.

NOTES for SIPADAN ONE DAY TOUR:

• Due to the recent ruling management of Sabah Park which has a restricted daily quota, all guests must apply permit in ADVANCE (preferably 1 MONTH before arrival) on a First Come First Serve basis to secure the limited permit being shared by all the resort operators at the same region.
• Please be informed that the current permit is NON REFUNDABLE / RM 140.00 per person per day entry (subject to Sabah Park changes).
• This special arrangement requires an additional boat fees of RM 1,380.00 per boat. This boat fee can be shared with other guests (if any) upon permit approval (maximum 6 guests in one boat).
• All types of activities being offered by the company on the island especially dive activities / Sipadan trip is subjected to bad sea, weather conditions / poor visibility and also diver’s own physical abilities (e.g.: injuries, intoxication, hangovers and etc). Therefore, we reserve the final decision and rights to either proceed or abort any activities / dives for any safety reasons.
• It takes 80 minutes of speed boat ride to get to Sipadan Island from Mataking Island
• The Sipadan Agreement Form will be given out to ALL confirmed Sipadan participants upon arrival at reception hall during registration, the purpose of the agreement form is to verify Sipadan charges (as in permit fee and boat fee)

Cancellation for Sipadan Day Trip/Excursion

• In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation shall applies: Before guests’ arrival/check-in date: Free of charge
• Upon arrival: Permit fee at RM 140.00 per person shall be charged.
• Upon signing of the Sipadan Agreement Form: Boat fee + permit fee shall be charged (Boat fee will be charged according to the number of persons on that specific date)

NOTICE: SOP – THE REEF DIVE RESORT (MATAKING ISLAND)Travel Requirements

• MySejahtera status for each individual must be in ‘Low Risk No Symptom’ & ‘Fully Vaccinated’.
• It is mandatory for only completely vaccinated adult guests to be allowed entry to resort premise
