Steel Panther Add 22-Date Summer Tour to 2023 Concert Itinerary

Steel Panther will literally be on the prowl, looking for some of the best rock audiences out there, when they return to the road in the U.S. this summer. The group just booked a 22-city run that will come in support of their latest album, On the Prowl .

The trek gets underway July 13 in Huntington, New York, and will make its way across the country before coming to an end Aug. 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can see all of the dates, cities and venues listed below. Check in on tickets and VIP packages here .

The tour will follow the band's current dates as they travel through Europe playing multiple sold out shows. Remaining dates can also be seen below.

As for the new album, On the Prowl , it's already yielded the songs "Never Too Late (To Get Some Pussy Tonight)," "1987" and "Friends With Benefits." You can currently order the record at this location .

STEEL PANTHER Announces 'On The Prowl' Spring 2023 Tour, Shares Music Video For '1987' Single

California glam metal jokesters STEEL PANTHER have released the official music video for their new single "1987" . The track is described in a press release as "a reflective look at one of the greatest years in rock music supported by unforgettable hooks, relatable lyrics and fretboard fireworks." Satchel, Michael Starr , Stix Zadinia and Spyder pay homage to the icons of the year, including GUNS N' ROSES , POISON , WHITESNAKE , OZZY OSBOURNE and VAN HALEN . The music video was directed by longtime collaborator J.T. Arbogast and follows a young duo who find an abandoned recording studio. When one of the kids plugs in a hidden 1987 pedal, he is transported to the time in the studio when STEEL PANTHER recorded the song and lives the memories of 1987 in his own way.

"1987" is taken from STEEL PANTHER 's sixth studio album, "On The Prowl" , which will be released on February 24, 2023.

To celebrate the release of "1987" , STEEL PANTHER has also announced a massive world tour. The "On The Prowl" world tour 2023 is set to kick off in February and will run throughout North America through April. CROBOT and TRAGEDY will be joining the band on the North American tour. The band will take a short break before bringing the party to the United Kingdom and Ireland in May. These new shows will be added to the 2022 year-end dates in Vancouver and the warmup weekends in January 2023 that were previously announced.

Speaking to Australia's Metal Roos , STEEL PANTHER drummer Stix Zadinia said about "On The Prowl" : "It is killer. Every band, normally you go, 'Yeah, dude, it's killer. It's our best record,' but you know — I think bandmembers know — it's a good record and you believe in it, but you know when you did something… This record has a spirit about it; it has a vibe about it where it's, like… I don't know. It feels different than the last few records. It just feels like there's a lot of joy in this record and fun and rocking and… It's killer, man.

"We actually did it differently than we've done any other record," he continued. "We did it at our houses, except for the drums. And then we had [longtime producer] Jay Ruston mix it. But we engineered this thing — we produced it, engineered it, all just us. Wrote, recorded, engineered, produced. The only thing we didn't do is mix it or master it."

According to Stix , he and his bandmates "were as productive as you could pretty much be as a band" during the pandemic. "We did socially distanced shows, pod shows, drive-in shows, livestreams. I say, 'We didn't do anything,' because… STEEL PANTHER , the way we've come up, we work — we're grinders and we play live. We are producers — we make things, we do things. And sitting on our ass is not comfortable for STEEL PANTHER . So this record is, I think, a reflection of our excitement. And it's gonna be killer."

The official music video for the first single from "On The Prowl" , a song called "Never Too Late (To Get Some Pussy Tonight)" , can be seen below.

Zadinia previously stated about the track: "The song and video are an absolute public service announcement. People have been asking STEEL PANTHER for advice on life, love and the pursuit of happiness for decades. 'Never Too Late' is a reminder to never give up, follow your heart, realize your dreams, overcome your challenges, navigate the rough seas, reach for stars and any other cliché you have in your pocket. Basically, what we are saying it is never too late to get some pussy tonight."

In September, STEEL PANTHER announced the addition of Spyder as the band's new bassist.

" Spyder has filled in for Lexxi many times," STEEL PANTHER singer Michael Starr told the "Everblack" podcast. "He's a super-close friend of the band. We've known him for years. As a matter of fact, [ STEEL PANTHER guitarist] Satchel and I were in a VAN HALEN tribute band for a while, and Spyder was the bass player in that. We have a rich history with him… He did all of Europe with us and he did a great job."

Formed in 2000, STEEL PANTHER specializes in imitating and exaggerating the less flattering aspects of 1980s hair metal, with unrepentantly crude, non-PC sexual content as a favorite lyrical theme.

The group's music has been described as " VAN HALEN meets MÖTLEY CRÜE meets RATT meets 'Wayne's World' , complete with operatic shrieks, misogyny, shredding guitar solos and libidinal overdrive."

Fourteen years ago, STEEL PANTHER changed its name from METAL SKOOL to its current moniker and shifted the focus of its act from '80s metal covers to originals.

California’s greatest export  Steel Panther  are hitting the road again in support of their latest album. The band is announcing the next US leg of their  On The Prowl tour that starts in July. Steel Panther announce ‘On the Prowl World Tour’ for 2023

Steel Panther is heading out on a world tour in support of upcoming album ‘On the Prowl', it has been announced.

Set to kick off in February 2023, the tour will tour throughout North America ending in April. Steel Panther will then bring the tour over to the UK and Ireland in May.

The band will release sixth studio album ‘On the Prowl' on 24th February 2023. It features the recent single ‘1987', which is available to download and stream now, and the music video is available on YouTube.

Steel Panther will embark on an extensive 2023 US tour in support of their forthcoming album On the Prowl , which arrives February 24th.

The newly announced dates kick off the day the album drops on February 24th in Las Vegas. The glam metal act will remain on the road through an April 8th concert in San Diego.

Ticket pre-sales begin tomorrow (December 7th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster (use access code CHEER ). Info regarding VIP packages including meet and greets, exclusive merch, and early show entry can be found via Steel Panther’s website .

The band has also unveiled the music video for On the Prowl single “1987.” The clip features plenty of the band’s signature tongue-in-cheek humor, while the song pays homage to the glory days of hair metal and hard rock, with references to many acts that were flying high in ’87: Guns N’ Roses, Poison, Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, and Van Halen, to name a few.

The band's "On the Prowl Tour" will continue in July and August

Steel Panther have added a US summer leg to their 2023 “On the Prowl” tour.

The comedic glam-metal revivalists will kick off the run on July 13th in Huntington, New York, and stay out until an August 19th date in Las Vegas. The summer leg will mostly hit markets the band missed on its initial spring trek earlier this year.

An artist ticket pre-sale begins tomorrow (May 16th) at 10 a.m. local time, while a Live Nation pre-sale for select dates begins Thursday (May 18th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster using the code ICONIC . General ticket sales begin Friday at 10 a.m. local time, and you can also look for deals or pick up tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

Steel Panther dropped their latest album On the Prowl back in February and have been on the road for much of 2023. Glam parody troops Steel Panther have announced an extensive U.S. tour commencing in 2023 behind their next album ‘On The Prowl’. The 31-date outing kicks off February 24th in Las Vegas and stretches into April making additional stops in Anaheim, Houston, Nashville, Orlando, Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Chicago and West Hollywood. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Crobot and Tragedy. Prior to the tour, the band will be wrapping up their A Claus & Paws Holiday Party tour before the end of the year.

LIVE REVIEW: STEEL PANTHER ON THE PROWL TOUR 2023

There was no excess when it came to the glam metal. Drugs, alcohol, ladies, money and a lot of hair spray and tight spandex pants. I happened to grow up during that time, with my favorite records coming from bands like Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and others. I did embrace the music, but not fashion, so I guess I can’t call myself a true fan, but nonetheless it is always nice to bring back the memories of that time. This is exactly what Steel Panther provides us. Steel Panther is the full-blown time machine. Currently on tour to support their latest studio album On The Prowl. Extensive tour that spans over a month and covers all major US markets and will continue in May in UK and Ireland. This last Friday tour came to New York City. Welcome back to 80’s.

This was the second time for me to witness Steel Panther live. They stay true to their script of providing the fans with good feel music of days gone by and entertain the crowd with their profane and suggestive (or I must say pretty direct) comedy act. There was one difference that I must note , that stuck out to me since I saw them last time back in 2019. They have gotten more cohesive in sound. Sonically they are impeccable. There was one downside for me though. Four years back their comedy act felt fresh and spicy, now it felt that most jokes were recycled, and that tanginess was missing. I’m sure that is something they can work on. Overall it was the same old no fucks given Steel Panther performance.

Music wise I was expecting a bit more new material, as they are touring to support their latest album On The Prowl, from which we got three songs from it – 1987, Never Too Late (To Get Some Pussy Tonight) and Ain’t Dead Yet. Most represented was bands first album Feel The Steel, with six songs. Band opened their set with Eyes Of A Panther and Let me Cum In, followed by little stand up comedy time by “Satchel” introducing band members and cracking jokes. Band also played Whitesnake cover of Slide It In, featuring Frank Bello from Anthrax on bass and Mike Tirelli on vocals. Just before the encore band invited ladies and some gents on stage to dance during the Party All Day (Fuck All Night). For an encore fans were treated to Community Property and Gloryhole.

Steel Panther is absolutely excellent live show band and their performances are always memorable. Don’t miss out the chance to see them in your area. Tour will continue tonight in New Jersey and follow the route back to bands home state of California, before heading out to Europe.

Hilariously satirical hair metal band who claimed to have missed the boat in the 80s, Steel Panther hail from Los Angeles, US, and have been windmilling their long blonde locks to their rumbling riffs since the early 2000s.

The quartet, featuring 'Michael Starr' (Ralph Saenz, vocals), 'Stix Zadinia' (Darren Leader, drums), 'Lexxi Foxx' (Travis Haley, bass) and 'Satchel' (Russ Parrish), began performing on the Sunset Strip under the name of Metal Shop, gradually gaining popularity and notoriety. They performed at weekly nights, playing covers of hair metal classics, making fun of the 80s lifestyle and image of bands like Van Halen. The band released their first album, "Hole Patrol" in 2003 independently, which gained some interest, with songs featured on TV shows.

In 2008, the band changed their name to Steel Panther, joining major label Republic Records (owned by Universal). In 2009 their major debut was released, titled "Feel the Steel" breaking into the Billboard charts and achieving Steel Panther significant success. Their album went to number one in the Billboard Comedy Charts and number 98 on the US charts, It included the singles "Death For All But Metal" and "Community Property" which became cult hits. Corey Taylor, Justin Hawkins and M. Shadows featured on the album.

Their second release, "Balls Out" was released in 2011, featuring guest appearances from comedian Dane Cook and Nickleback's Chad Kroeger, amongst others. The album surpassed Megadeth's "TH1RT3EN" and Lou Reed and Metallica's "Lulu" to reach number one in the UK ITunes Rock chart and number 40 on the US Billboard 200 chart, with frost week sales of 12,000 copies in the US.

Their success led to several tours which included a main stage slot at UK's Download Festival in 2012, playing to a crowd of over 100,000 people. They have also toured with Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard.

Live reviews

Hands down, the best Steel Panther show I have seen. Many, many awesome things happened, besides the boobs!!! The guys were on point, all night. Where else are you going to get a kick ass Rock N' Roll show, and comedy show, for the price of admission? These guys take their music, and comedy, very serious, and they really nailed it tonight. The House of Blues was on FIRE!!!! A big shout out to the opening act, Citizen Zero, they rocked the house as well. Amazing musicians in their own right, they should be proud.

With all that said, Arthur stole the show. The crowd "body surfed" a guy in a wheelchair up to the stage. Steel Panther stopped the show, gave him a backstage pass, picks, brought him up on stage, for the remainder of the evening, and gave this guy the night of his life.

There really needs to be more fans like Steel Panther fans, more people like Arthur,and more acts like Steel Panther in this world.

It would truly be a much better place to live in!!!

I first heard of Steel Panther a few years back randomly on my drive in to work. Rumble in the Morning essentially stated it was a can't miss show. I got the opportunity to attend one of their shows while up in Maryland two years later. These guys have really mastered their craft. The show and characters were hilarious and memorable. They did all of this while playing some kick ass raunchy 80s glam rock/metal. I am attending all of these shows in the near future (Periphery, Mastodon, Metallica, Deftones, Slayer) and I don't know if they will be able to top the amount of sheer hilarity and amazing performance put on by the four members of Steel Panther. Please go and watch their shows. I plan on attending their shows in the future when they are in town.

Steel Panther was awesome, as usual and expected.

Disappointing was whoever did the sound check, didn't know what they were doing.

At the start of the show, the drummer/Stix snare drum mic had some issue, as it sounded terrible. Subsequently, the first 3 song, I was in complete dissbelief it was that bad. I kept looking at the guy running the board, and I couldn't be sure if he was hearing it, as I was 3 feet from him, right is the sweet spot - right next to and infront of the board. It took 3 sounds for the person running the sound board to make adjustments so it became sorta acceptable. Really, it was optimized. I've seen Steel Panther 6 times, and this time was different because of the issue with the sound from the drummer/Stix.

Great night was had by everyone there. It was easy to get to and tube trains where good. We arrived at 6.50 and doors opened at 7pm the staff where quick and was easy to have tickets scanned and move on into venue. The T-shirts where clear and priced clear to see. Got a good place on the floor to see band. The first band was a bit to much guitar for us but people seemed to like it. Then DJ came on which got the croud going well until Steel Panther came on stage. Then the place rocked the roof off. Toilets where clean and nice. Could do with a few more for women as we always seem to have to wait but it was ok. Leaving was a good as coming in staff friendly and opened doors. Tube was quick and got home in good time.

Concert was great. There were plenty of fans in costume/80's glam rock gear, including my wife and I. The opening act Everybody Panic was okay for a nu-metal band...but most sound the same to me these days. The other opening act, MF Ruckus was great. They were a great mix of AC/DC/Motorhead/Clutch/Southern Rock. They were very engaging and energetic and closed with a great cover of Iron Maiden's The Trooper.

This was our first time seeing Steel Panther live and we weren't disappointed. They all sounded great and they played most of their popular songs. There were a few they left out...but hey they have so many.

Definitely go see them live if you have a chance. Just bring your sense of humor.

Steel Panther really gave a great performance. These guys are very funny and obscenely cool. Even though they are playing characters, they are nonetheless very professional and know how to give a kick ass show. Micheal Star really has a great voice live and his range is pretty impressive. There is a segment where everyone leaves the stage except for Satchel, their lead guitarist, and he just shreds for a good 10 min. Man that guy can play! He gave me goosebumps for his whole solo. Overall this was a fantastic show and I would recommend it to anyone who is into rock or metal music. Steel Panther are awesome!

As always Steel Panther put on a great show. The comedy mix with the classic metal just comes together for an awesome spectacle.

The only thing that puts a damper on it are the fans. Some of them seem to think that slamming and wheeling in the standing area is appropriate - well this isn't one of those shows morons.

Playing first in line were the band I was really looking forward to seeing - Buckcherry, but the sound was terrible. So very disappointed.

Bowling for Soup are not my taste at all, but they did put on an entertaining show. I didn't realise Joe Pasquali was the lead singer though ;)

Steel Panther brought a brand new show to Jannus. Lexii has new bass strings. Satchel has a new $300 signature guitar. Stix has a new drum head. You get the idea. The guys also brought new music from their Heavy Metal Rules CD that was just released. As always, the musicianship is tight. The harmonies spot on. The rhythms taking everyone on a heavy metal sex machine ride. This was my 5th time seeing Steel Panther. Michael Starr's voice is amazing. The joking back and forth is hilarious. You have to see this band live. It's been different and awesome every single time!

Stunning butt on this asian girl that was asked to come up on stage and show it off. Lord!!

Of course SP rocked the shit out of the place as always.

And for the first time in five shows, an ENCORE!

Its like winning the Steel Panther lottery.

We even made it through two versus of Dust in the Wind. Satchel was super impressed.

And icing on the cake. Got a LEXXI FOXX guitar pick.

Best. Show. Ever.

If you want an evening with lots of fun and talk about sex, Steel Panther is the right band for you.

I was my first Steel Panther koncert and I was entertained but not overexcited. The missing point was, that the show in many sessions seemed too planned, and the connection with the audience was a Little superficial.

They can play and it was fun, but I do not think, I will attend a concert Again.

ST. PETE SHOW RETURNS IN JANUARY

St. petersburg power & sailboat show sets sail for its 45th year.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. ( January 11, 2023 ) – The St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, Presented by Progressive returns to downtown St. Petersburg January 19-22, 2023, celebrating 45 years of the boating lifestyle so many people enjoy. Attendees will find the most comprehensive display of vessels from fishing boats to luxury yachts and a 40,000-square-foot tent housing all types of marine gear. The show is located at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater – Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park, 400 1st Street S. St. Petersburg, FL 33701.

Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased online at www.stpeteboatshow.com. General admission is $21 for adults, and children ages 15 and under attend free. Veterans and active-duty military show proof of military service for a free ticket. Boat show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, January 19-20; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Annapolis School of Seamanship and Progressive have teamed up to provide on-water boat training programs for free to attendees who pre-register through the show website. Additional seminars are updated continually on the website, including Hook the Future's Kids Fishing Clinics with Captain Don Dingman, which will take place at 12pm and 2pm on Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22, for children ages 4-16.

All attendees of the 45th St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, Presented by Progressive will have the opportunity to connect with boating experts and learn about the latest features and innovations in the marine industry by viewing more than 300 exhibits.
