The PRECISION CRUISE CONTROL SUZUKI SWIFT is an Original Equipment quality, retrofit Cruise Control System. This particular system is compatible with the following vehicles:

PRECISION CRUISE is a retrofit electronic cruise control system that provides all the functionality and convenience of Original Equipment systems, along with many enhanced features. This unit comes pre-programed for your specific vehicle and the full vehicle compatibility list can be found under the compatibility tab above.

Luxury and Convenience

Our PRECISION CRUISE Control Systems take all the stress and frustration out of long distance travelling. Simply activate the Cruise Control and remove your foot from the accelerator pedal for a much smoother and more comfortable driving experience. Should you wish to increase or decrease your speed to suit driving conditions or traffic flow speeds, the cruise control provides the option to increase or decrease your speed by pressing the respective button on the cruise control arm.

Dual Memory Settings

The PRECISION CRUISE Control System features the ability to preset two Cruise speeds in the Cruise memory. This enables you to drive at your most commonly used cruise speeds at the touch of a button, without having to drive to the desired speed first.

Original Equipment Quality Equipment

All of our Cruise Contol Equipment is OE Quality and comes complete with a 'Plug n Play' Pedal Harness to reduce Installation time and cost. Our Universal Cruise Arm (pictured) is an OE Quality Cruise Arm with all the required functionality and performance of original equipment systems. However, there is also the option on certain vehicles to incorporate the Original Equipment Cruise Control Switch for an even more professional installation.

Independent Speed Limiting

The Cruise Control also features the option of setting an Independent Speed Limit. This is controlled via the Universal Cruise Arm and can be activated to prevent the driver from speeding in areas where speed limit restrictions are enforced. The Cruise control can still be used independently below this limit. Please note that this facility is not available on vehicles where the Original Equipment Cruise Switch has been installed.

Reduces the Risk of Speeding Fines

Recently, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of speed cameras and police surveillance equipment on the roads. Using the PRECISION CRUISE enables the driver to mainatain a safe (and legal) speed limit without the worry of being penalised.

Driving Optimisation and Fuel Saving

When the Cruise Control is activated, the vehicle speed is regulated more than 50 times per second, optimising driving performance. This in turn can also reduce fuel and transportation costs without comprimising vehicle performance.

Ordered this for my MIL Suzuki SX4 base model. Received it in 4 days and decided to install it after work one day. After wiring in the main harness I noticed I was missing the secondary harness to the CC module. Called the company the next day (Friday) and they had one shipped out immediately and I received it on a Tuesday. Completed the setup and took for a test drive with no success ☹️ I called the company the next day and spoke with Michael and we walked through the complete setup and tested everything and it was determined I might have a bad CC module. Michael set me up with a whole new kit and promised to ship out that day. On my way home the CC started working and has worked ever since. I called and cancelled the new kit since mine was working and I didn’t want to start over

Cruise System Temporarily Disabled

Hi, I‘ve got an annoying issue with my 2019 1.4 boosterjet Swift Sport. When I restart the engine after the auto start/stop has kicked in, occasionally I get a message on the dash saying ‘Cruise system temporarily disabled’.This warning shows for about 2/3 seconds then disappears and the cruise system works fine. This doesn’t happen every time, probably about 50% of the time, and has never happened when I first start it up. Does anyone know what might be causing this? So far I‘ve tried cleaning the glass in front of the camera in the windscreen and also the radar in the grill but to no avail.  

Check the history and pending codes for clues, It could be one of many, from battery voltage to speed sensors to brake light switch..  

I’ve had a look and there are no codes pending or stored  

Then its on to monitor live data, see what's amiss  

It does have to do a self check after every start. If battery cranking volts are getting down then its going to be more frequent Get a battery load test done and see what the battery is like. Its coming up on 3 years old, and the factory batteries usually start yo fail around that age, about the time the warranty expires.

Have a couple of questions: What code reader/scanner did you use for diagnosis ?, and Have you load tested the battery and how ?  

One is in the starter solenoid circuit so clutch has to be depressed to start (safety feature) the other sends a signal to the bcm/ecm to disable cruise control if the clutch us depressed otherwise its like having your foot on the gas and pressing the clutch. Good test of the rev limiter  

Thanks GV, I can understand the need for both functions but I would have thought that both were actually controlled via the ECU. The two switches are simply providing the same information. Is this redundancy for reasons of safety? It seems a bit OTT. Peter  

The current required to drive the starter solenoid comes from battery to ign switch thru the clutch switch to the starter in a manual. Nowhere near the computer systems at all. Old school, reliable and pretty foolproof. Keyless start on the other hand does use the ecm and bcm, but still needs a separate safety switch on the clutch. The cruise control is actually mostly via the ecm and abs units. The switches need to be separated as they are totally separate systems. Wait till you look at the brake switch, thats got 2 sets of contacts, one normally open to run the brake lights and one normally closed that opens when you press the pedal to disable the cruise control. If it doesn't see clutch and brake switches in the correct positions it won't enable cruise set or resume, but will allow the system to turn on.  

Mine is keyless. If it trusts the switch not to activate the starter solenoid I'd have thought the same switch could be trusted to avoid over revving in cruise. I guess I'm just narked because mine is intermittently causing a Service Start and my attempt to replace one of the switches without major dismantling just resulted in me ripping my hands to bits. Do you happen to know what a proper dealership would do to replace the switches? The power steering motor is probably the biggest impediment to access. Peter  

Have you actually proved its a faulty switch? Or adjustment? Service start system messages can come from many places. The starter solenoid switch has to be separate from the cruise system,, they are controlled from different units, while you could theoretically use one switch, there will be a very good reason the manufacturer used 2. They cost money. I've never had to get one out yet so I don't know how the dealer would do it.  

I haven't proved that I have a faulty switch. The only information I have is P083F error There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the operation of the switches and both have the correct rubber pads in good condition. I can't verify that the black switch works but the white one does because pressing that with the clutch pedal up and pressing the start button generates a Service Start error. Thanks, Peter  

You would need a Pro level scanner that is capable of monitoring the individual circuits... Both my Think Tool Pro and X421 MiniPro will monitor these PIDs

What you have there is a code, not a solution, Just a direction you might follow.. A proper scanner should have the capability of testing and reporting the functions of the buttons and related switches in the circuit..
