This is a first class operation.  You are going to get a spotless, fully equipped, impeccably maintained vehicle with a courteous and informative send off.  The Travato rides like a Cadillac and glides smoothly through the mountain ranges.  This is a great service.

This was a great, socially distanced little vacation for us! We took the van to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for 4 days and had an awesome time. The is our second time renting a campervan and we really enjoyed the layout and convenience of their Promaster. They definitely thought of everything right down to camp games and spices. Comfy bed, cute interior, great privacy screens, fully equipped kitchenette, lighting, etc. The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating, too. We’ll be renting again for sure.

Our weekend getaway in the Promaster Van was AMAZING! This is the second time we rent a van with Urban Escape Vehicles and we loved it . The van is equipped with all the things you need (cooking cleaning and storage). Melody the owner is extremely helpful! This last trip Melody provided a list of hiking trials and parking areas to insure that our weekend would be pleasant. Thank you so much for the great memories!

We had an AMAZING time with our rental from Urban Escape Vehicles. Melody, the owner, was friendly, communicative, and flexible with pick-up/drop-off. The van is well-constructed and decorated, and the bed was super comfortable (we slept like babies!). It was easy to get a hang of driving (we were pleasantly surprised by the handling, turn radius, gas mileage, etc.) and fit into standard parking spots with ease. 10/10 would recommend renting this van for your next adventure!

This was our second time renting one of Melody’s amazing vans. We loved the experience and would not hesitate to spend another weekend exploring Asheville and the surrounding mountains in the comfort of a beautiful camper. Melody was kind, generous and flexible with our needs and even suggested nearby locations to visit. 10/10 recommendation!

We had a great experience renting from Melody. Communication was always fast. The van was easy to drive and maneuver. There is everything you could possibly need in this van, other than food and clothing. We did bring our pop up canopy for rain. I highly recommend renting from Melody.

Melody stocked our camper with everything we could possibly need for a night in the woods– a warm comfortable bed, FULLY stocked kitchen, solar/battery lights, table and chairs, the works. She was punctual, professional, and just a very cool gal. We (especially our 15 month old) absolutely loved our experience and can’t wait for our next camper trip— highly recommend for other families with little ones!

There is something to suit everyone, from educational exhibits to observation towers to amazing scenic drives and hikes if you are in the mood to get out and hoof it on foot. Blueridge Parkway Scenic Drive The Blueridge Parkway scenic drive is unlike any other nature tour you will take! This is why you rent a motorhome! The 469-mile drive features nonstop natural wonder as it takes you from Shenandoah National Park on one end to the Great Smoky National Park on the other end. If you are a road warrior, you can see the Blueridge Parkway all in one day (allow at least 10 hours for a full one-way drive). The Biltmore was originally built by George Vanderbilt as his family estate. It is still the largest home in the United States. The 8,000 acre property houses a gorgeous gardens, the Estate winery and Biltmore Village, where you will find plenty of historic scenery, fun shopping, tasty eateries and guided tours to help you learn more. Linville Gorge & Linville Falls While you are in North Carolina, you can`t miss seeing the place that has been called "The Grand Canyon of the East!" This gorgeous area is nestled in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest. If you are planning to drive part or all of the Blueridge Parkway Scenic Drive, you can also catch glimpses of the Falls as you drive by, courtesy of four overlooks that dot the edges of the area. Or you can get out and stretch your legs with either of the two short hikes that get you up close and personal with local Falls and scenic mountain views. Elijah Mountain Gem Mine If you have ever dreamed of mining for gold or precious stones, this is your chance! Elijah Mountain Gem Mine is an indoor-outdoor active mining destination so you can visit no matter what the weather decides to do. And whatever you mine, you can keep and take home with you! The mine and surrounding attractions offers free admission with add-on items as you prefer. Enjoy a casual picnic on the grounds, go pet baby goats at the on-site petting zoo and sift through the largest gem bucket as well as the local rock shop for more treasures. Outer Banks and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse The Outer Banks is a unique part of North Carolina. It is a small chain of islands just off the North Carolina coast that is easily accessible. You will find lots of RV-friendly parks scattered along the Outer Banks as well as many activities that offer something for everyone. The area hosts the historic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, which has already survived one move due to the eroding coastline. It also has a rumored 3,000+ shipwrecks, some of which are accessible for scuba divers. The Wright Brothers took their maiden flight here and you can explore a museum in their honor. JuneBug is a 50 acre vacation and event venue nestled in a private valley with a 1/2 mile of river flowing through it. The resort is located 12 minutes north of downtown Asheville, NC. We are home to ten restored 1950s campers that can be reserved for an event or rented when visiting the mountains. Across the river from the vintage campers you will find the JuneBug event  center and one of the oldest organic farms in western NC and the JuneBug event center. Individual campers can be rented, or the whole facility can be reserved for weddings, family reunions and other events.    . .. See our story
