Anovos Productions LLC is an American company based in Simi Valley, California which produces replicas of costumes, helmets, props, patches, jewelry, and other novelty items based on licensed entertainment properties.

The company has released a large number of Star Trek -related costumes and other apparel items, along with jewelry and novelty products.

Anovos has produced items for Nerd Block and retails a number of Star Trek -related items manufactured by Eaglemoss Collections , QMx and Roddenberry.com through its webshop.

In 2018, "interactive" electronic Star Trek: Discovery phaser pistol and rifle prop replicas were released, alongside a number of Starfleet uniform costumes from the series.

High quality electronic "Studio-Scale Filming Miniatures" of the USS Discovery (36.9 inches long, US$9,000) and the USS Shenzhou (26.6 inches long, US$8,000) went into production in early 2018. [1] [2] A prototype of the company's (35 inches long, US$9000) Studio-Scale USS Enterprise model (as it appeared in DIS ) was introduced at the San Diego Comic-Con and became available to the public in July 2018. [3]

A number of dedication plaques and six to twelve-inch long starship miniatures from Eaglemoss Collections' Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection and its Discovery spin-off were released by Anovos, beginning in 2018. The ships are marketed by Anovos as Star Trek Collectible Scale Starship Models and are co-branded with Eaglemoss' Hero Collector imprint. [4]

I'm one of the victims. I ordered a season two wrap outfit in January of 2020 and was told by a person named Reggie it was delayed because of the pandemic. He mentioned to be patient and I was but I trusted him and the company in good faith. I don't know if I should go to my credit card company and inform them about this or wait and hope this new company will take over the Star Trek license and honor my order?  

Go through the credit card company just in case? Since it's more recent than my order. The card and account I used doesn't exist anymore, so I can't go that route. There are several class action lawsuits now out there against Anovos.  

I am sorry to read this, Ryan, is it possible you could join the class action suit if you still have your order confirmation and emails of those delays?

I’m beginning to hate that word more than “synergy” When my mean cousin broke my AMT Enterprise, my Dad made a wooden…approximation…that looked a bit like the playmobile. That’s artisan. I wish I still had it.

I'm sorry for all the people who were ripped off. Good that they are gone and no one else will be. I literally only ever purchased one thing from them, and it was in person at a con, because I'd already heard the horror stories.  

I’m on the same boat with 2018, 2019 and 2020 purchases. What happening to those? Did they just evaporate?  

A few questions for clarification: If you did not buy Anovos, why fulfill their backorders? How can you take on that debt if you didn't buy out the company? Is NECA and Rubies, through Denounovo, eating the cost then? Will customers with backorders be asked to cough up more money to have their orders finally fulfilled? Is this fulfillment part of your license agreement with Disney/Lucasfilm? Also why a similar name and look to Anovos? And is anyone from Anovos currently staffed at Denu Novo? Click to expand...

It seems weird they would start a company with such a similar name without having someone from Anovos involved. Also, without buying some assets such as a customer list, how would they even know how to fulfill any of the Star Wars orders?  

It's possible that leadership at Anovos saw the writing on the wall and started selling assets, which can include customer lists. Usually that is a part of bankruptcy proceedings but they didn't do that. Looks like the leadership cut and ran, taking what money they could. Strange there is little news. So, they sold what parts they could. Odd that Rubies didn't have the Trek license though to bring under the new brand. This whole thing stinks.

Star Trek™ created a generation of fans by inspiring their imagination for technology’s future. Charting new frontiers, ANOVOS is excited to continue our line of collectible studio-scale filming models whose aim is to tell the story of these starships in never-before seen detail—not only from without, but from within.

Advancements in 3D design and printing have allowed us to bring these technical drawings to life, by engineering the fully dimensional ships from inside-out. Under the guidance of famed model maker John Eblan, and using digital assets for the Star Trek Discovery models provided directly by CBS from the show’s production team, our core engineers took these ships’ specifically-focused areas of interest and engineered the internal architecture, which were then given life via 3D printing and integrated with lights. The final effect is a deeper look into not only these beautifully hand-painted ship, but also an interactive experience with the ability to lift portions of the hull plating to reveal the ship’s bussard collectors and deflector dish.

Manufacturing and Delivery Timelines

Each ship is proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. and hand-crafted to order through a combination of 3D printing, electronics and conventional mold-and-cast.

Due to the immense complexity and build time for each piece, orders will be taken in very limited waves meant to get you your product in a reasonable time. There will be a maximum of three (3) waves and, once surpassed, the project will be posted as Sold Out. There are no guarantees that the run will re-open due to the number of exciting ships we endeavor to produce to with this cutting-edge technology.

Technical Details

• Measures 35″ long x 16″ wide x 8″ tall.
• Body composed of polymer resin, with steel reinforcement.
• Replicated directly from the screen-used digital assets from production.
• Over 180 LED lights, runs off a 12V power source, with single channel remote.
• Active illumination for Impulse Engines, Warp Nacelles, Formation, and Anti-Collision lights.
• Our system uses a series of Neodymium magnets in both the pylons and nacelles to secure the nacelles. All electronics are handled with pin connections. This allows the nacelles to removed and attached at will.
• Detail areas: –Removable covers to bussard collectors, exposing engineering elements. –Extendable deflector dish to reveal illuminated deflector coil.
• Automotive-grade paints applied, using a multi-layer process to achieve Aztec panel effect.
• Custom-cut Discovery-style Starfleet non-split delta display stand, composed of machined aircraft aluminum and steel, with a total display height of 14”.
• Includes separate display plaque featuring starship’s name and registry.
• Packaged in wooden prop box lined with convoluted foam.
