Food Tours Australia is an award winning Food Tourism Company. Started by Mark Gleeson, ex-chef, Market Stallholder and noted food expert, we are at the forefront of Food Tourism in South Australia. With nearly 20 years in the industry we have the connections and knowledge to offer guests the best food experience.  

Accompanied by your local foodie tour guide in small groups enjoy a 90min stroll around the Adelaide Central Market, followed by a coffee- an opportunity to chat and recommend restaurants, places of interest etc.  

On tour learn some history, meet the stallholders, hear their stories and taste the premium foods grown and produced in the State. Tastings can include amongst others-

Start your day with the best market espresso, brewed tea or thick-n-rich hot chocolate. Watch the market open up over a full hot and healthy breakfast. During the Adelaide Central Market Tour, taste a delicious selection of foods from South Australian artisan food producers, meet the suppliers, Stallholders and producers whose families have traded the Market for generations. This small group tour is hosted by local guides and is serious fun for those with a passion for great food, and the people who grow and supply it to our tables.
