Desert Safari is a conventional arrangement of exercises inside Bedouin style camp including live belly dance with other exhibitions and experience drive in the land cruiser, camel ride, sand boarding, henna tattoo, outfit pictures with more activities under the front of various bundles.

Dune bashing means driving at increasing and decreasing speeds over sand. dunes within Land Cruiser, sliding up and down for the thrilling adventure.

There is no uncertainty in companionship and devotion with humankind by camels, appreciate a seat on camel bump for a short ride and take Pictures or Video(s) of the views for 2 to 3 minutes.

Children up to 3 years are absolutely free, Desert Safari is alright for babies too.

Only take your necessary things with you such as Mobile, Camera, SunBlock Etc. Don’t take unnecessary things with you since it will be a bit late around 9:00 pm while coming back to hotel/home. Use a handbag to carry your things.

We recommend you to wear normal comfortable cloths. For Boys: Shorts or Cotton Pants withT-Shirts. For Girls: Shalwar Kamiz, or Pants & T-Shirts As you will feel more comfortable while the dune bashing and sand skiing. Also, much better if you wear sandals instead of shoes as the sand gets into the shoes and make trouble for you.

Dubai Tour is incomplete without the desret safari. We foolishly booked a safari through Groupon and the service provider was Nawah Tourism LLC. They took the money but never picked up the phone to take booking we tried for 3 days. finally requested Groupon to send back the money. we are yet to get back money from groupon. even if u are taking the offer through groupon (as they offer much cheaper rates) see how many has bought the deal already and call the service provider before hand. Do not miss this experience

Book this through any tour operator. There are about 5 to 6 operators who run desert camps. They pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Oman hatta border where they do dune bashing in a 4x4 vehicle. We enjoyed the dune bashing. I asked the driver if i can try driving to which he refused politely. I can understand, but try your luck. I did see some foreigners who were given this privilege. The dune bashing will be followed up by night entertainment and dinner. The food was average. They showed belly dance which I found average again. overall decent experience, but only for the 4x4 dune bashing experience I would go for it.

I'm clueless how this tour got 4 stars. I booked online after the great reviews. To start off, the driver was over an hour late past the set departure time. When you have a limited time on vacation, waiting in the hotel lobby is not how you want to spend it. When I asked in the lobby, another driver looking for his passengers laughed that this tour is ALWAYS late. The camel "farm" is seeing camels in small pens made up of chain link fence. Ride through the desert was fun and the driver did a great job. He picked a perfect spot for pictures. Expect to pay extra for everything at the camp - even the henna tattoo which they advertise for free. The camel ride lasts about 2 min and consists of riding around in a circle. Food was adequate, but was a little hard to eat after seeing it sit outside surround by flies while we watched the belly dance show. Overall, I think the value is on par with the price, but best to come with low expectations.

For us Desert Safari was a must to do activity before landing in Dubai , and we did it on the second day. The pick up in Land cruiser from the hotel is complimentary , The distance to the site takes approx 1 and half hour including waiting time if you are on sharing basis . The break zone will have ATV and Quad bikes , one can do sharing in AED 200 for 20 odd minutes . Then Sunset point at a hillock proceeded by some great dune bashing en route to the camp . You have leisure time here , you can go for henna tatto , or strike a pose in emirati dress or just relax and enjoy the starters with local dancers performance . After the dinner you will be taken out to drop back to hotel . All in all pick up at around 1400 hrs and drop by 2130 - 2200 . Great experience .. Must Must when in dubai. Rayna guys did it really well so can be considered.

The part of driving on desert was the best part. It was really exiting and worth a try. It took 2 hours to get there and it was boring. The dinner buffet was not pleasant and I did not enjoy the dance part. The whole of driving on desert was 1 hour but the trip begun on 2 pm and ended on 9 pm. I did not like the way they behaved with poor camels.
