Max Richter announces new album ‘In A Landscape’ and first ever world tour

The LP will mark his ninth studio album, and the tour dates include two shows at London's Royal Festival Hall

Max Richter

Max Richter has announced his new album ‘In A Landscape’, and shared details of what will be his first-ever world tour – find ticket details below.

The new LP will mark the highly anticipated ninth studio album from the German-British composer and pianist. It is set for release on September 6 via Decca.

According to a press release, the project will mark a significant evolution in Richter’s extensive musical journey, and see him dig deeper into motifs including optimism and human emotion. These will also be accompanied by an innovative exploration of electronic sounds and field recordings.

“It is a record about reconciling polarities, bringing together the electronic and the acoustic, the human and the natural world, the big questions of life and the quiet pleasures of living – a fleeting self-portrait of a musician in constant motion,” it reads. Check out the stunning first single, ‘Movement, Before All Flowers’ below and pre-order the album here .

“For me, the music on the record is about connecting or reconciling polarities. The electronics with the acoustic instruments, the natural world with the human world, and the big ideas of life with the personal and intimate,” Richter said of the inspiration behind the album.

He also revealed that it has ties to one of his past releases. “This is a dynamic I started to explore in my 2004 record ‘The Blue Notebooks’, and the new project shares many of that album’s concerns,” he explained.

“In a way this record is another look at the themes of the earlier work, but from the perspective of our world and our lives in 2024.”

In support of ‘In A Landscape’, Richter has also announced details of his first-ever world tour. Set to take place across the latter part of 2024 and first half of 2025.

The shows start on September 7, with an opening night at La Bâtie-Festival de Genève in Geneva, before continuing with eight shows across the UK and Ireland later in the year. These kick off with a slot at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on October 28, which is followed by two shows in Dublin.

Richter will then embark on a series of European tour dates throughout the remainder of 2024, including shows in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Munich and more, before picking the tour up again in February 2025 for five shows across Australia.

Finally, the last leg of the world tour will commence in Spring 2025, when Richter heads over to North America for nine final dates. These start with a show at Boston’s Colonia Theatre on April 26, and continue with dates in Toronto, Washington, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Chicago and Oakland.

The extensive stint concludes with a penultimate show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on May 5, followed by a final performance at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on May 10.

Tickets go on sale next Thursday (June 6) at 10am local time. Visit here for tickets to UK shows and here US shows and other international shows.  Find a full list of tour dates below.

The amount of intimacy Mr Richter creates is profound. There is an emotional bridge he creates to his perciever that is without compare. His performances always blow my mind. There is no in between, almost as if he bridges/bypasses rational thought/consciousness and is performance directly imprinting on spirit.

‘Woolf Works’ Review: A Literary Ballet’s Missteps

Wayne McGregor’s 2015 work, making its New York debut with American Ballet Theater, fails to make dance poetry of Virginia Woolf’s novels.

  • Share full article

Dancers lock arms in a kind of a circle. One in front, playing Virginia Woolf, has her foot pointed. The women wear sheer dresses; the gents Edwardian suits.

By Brian Seibert

At the start of “Woolf Works,” a three-act ballet by the British choreographer Wayne McGregor based on novels by Virginia Woolf, we hear part of what is reportedly the only extant recording of Woolf’s voice . It is a writer’s loving complaint about her materials: words. Used by everyone, they are full of echoes and associations, she says. A writer can invent new ones but can’t use them in an old language like English, because words hang together.

By beginning like this, is McGregor identifying with Woolf and admitting the difficulty inherent in his materials, steps in the old language called ballet? Or is this a smug assertion of difference — that he, as a choreographer, can invent?

“Woolf Works” is certainly ambitious. When the Royal Ballet debuted it in 2015, it was hailed as a breakthrough. But when American Ballet Theater gave the work its New York premiere on Tuesday as part of its season at the Metropolitan Opera House, “Woolf Works” turned out to be a big, flashy, dull disappointment.

When choreographers turn to writers, it is usually for character and story, as in several other works in Ballet Theater’s season: “Onegin,” “Romeo and Juliet” and “Like Water for Chocolate,” which drowns in plot. But for Woolf’s novels, synopsis is trivial. A modernist, she discarded much of the genre’s furniture to get inside the minds of her characters and jump from one to the next, playing with form, memory and sudden illumination. The staid model of story ballets could certainly benefit from such formal play, and sudden illumination is something dance does especially well.

Not in “Woolf Works,” alas. Hobbled by Max Richter’s hackneyed score, it is notably unmemorable; apart from its scenic effects, the ballet slips right through the mind. Noting its divergences from Woolf’s works is necessary. But more important are the many ways it falls short as dance. (And for the record, dance already had a Virginia Woolf, long ago. Her name was Martha Graham.)

The first section, “I now, I then,” based on “Mrs. Dalloway,” borrows characters from the novel, with Clarissa (Mrs. Dalloway), doubling as Woolf. (The role was originated by Alessandra Ferri, who returned to it on Tuesday, at 61.) Monumental and mobile set pieces like giant bookends say “abstraction” and serve as screens for footage of Edwardian London. After dancing with her husband, the heroine watches and dances with her young self and past lovers, male and female.

I now, I then: McGregor’s choreography can show this. Older characters can move slowly as younger ones gambol; women can kiss. The sound of Big Ben can toll the passing of time. But for the novel’s perspectival shifts, McGregor has only the transitional device — flogged throughout “Woolf Works” — of one dancer suddenly coming up behind another. Mostly, as in many story ballets, it’s just a series of duets.

The strongest moment involves Septimus, a shellshocked war veteran. It’s not his angularly anguished solo, or his tortured and buckling interactions with his worried wife and dead trench mate, but his duet with the Woolf-Clarissa character — something that doesn’t happen in the novel. He places her in ballet poses and she keeps collapsing.

Along with ruminative walking, collapsing is the only language that McGregor has for suicidal depression, but the expression of an identification between novelist and character is at least interesting.

The second section, “Becomings,” diverges much more from its source: “Orlando.” From that novel’s parodic tour through the history of England and English literature, all that remains are some Elizabethan accents in the costumes and a feeble idea of fluid gender: same-sex partnering, men wearing tutus. The novel’s delightful comedy is conspicuously absent.

Instead, McGregor gives us lasers, wax-museum figures and an unleashing of his signature style of sleek, sharp, hyperextended ballet. The acceleration is initially startling, but the undulant noodling quickly becomes as soporific as the previous section’s restraint. I find these machinations as soulless as artificial intelligence, but whatever you feel about McGregor’s derivations from late-20th-century William Forsythe, they only pretend to be new. And while the lighting designer, Lucy Carter, is a wizard, a light show set to music fit for a nature documentary’s sweep across glaciers does not a breakthrough in ballet make.

The final section, “Tuesday,” is based on “The Waves,” as you can tell from the projection of waves crashing in super-slow motion. In place of the novel’s innovative form of collective biography, McGregor substitutes some of Woolf’s own history, starting with a recorded recitation (by Gillian Anderson) of her suicide letter, written on a Tuesday in 1941.

Even front loaded with such poignancy and the addition of child dancers, the work fails to sustain much emotion. McGregor does provide waves, though, rows of dancers cresting. Richter’s formula — slow crescendo to quick crash into quiet — matches this well, and mass effects disguise and compensate for the expressive poverty of McGregor’s choreography. When the Woolf character disappears in the wavelike motion, it’s a little bit touching, and the closest McGregor gets to Woolf’s ideal of combining old words in a new order to create beauty and truth.

In any case, the person playing that role on Tuesday was the best feature of the evening. Still lithe and pliant, Ferri has an older dancer’s dignity and self-possession, and her natural smiles occasionally broke through the work’s self-seriousness. Aptly, she seemed somewhat apart from the others, both in and out of the game, watching and wondering at it, like a writer in the world or one mingling with her characters. She was almost Woolf-like.

Max McGreevy believes he belongs on the PGA TOUR. He has earned another chance to prove it.

McGreevy, 29, earned his second Korn Ferry Tour title Sunday at the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS, and he did so dramatically with a 13-foot winning birdie on the 72nd hole at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois. McGreevy finished at 24-under 260, one stroke clear of a hard-charging Steven Fisk, who joined McGreevy in clinching a PGA TOUR card on Sunday.

“I feel like I see it all the time on TV. I see (former housemate) Scottie (Scheffler) do it every week; these guys actually have putts to win,” McGreevy said after delivering an emphatic winning moment late Sunday afternoon. “My one Korn Ferry (Tour) win, I sat and waited … This, I actually clinched it myself. The feeling of that, I honestly think is going to even bolster my confidence, my golf game, everything, just a lot more. Excited to actually have that opportunity to finish it out in style like I did.

“That's all I was looking for, was a chance. I was telling myself that. Looked at a couple pictures of my wife and my baby-to-come in my yardage book, calmed me down, and I was ready to go.”

The victory moves McGreevy to No. 2 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, safely inside the top 30 to earn 2025 PGA TOUR membership, which is finalized after the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance. The University of Oklahoma alum has now notched six top-10s in 16 Korn Ferry Tour starts this season, demonstrating a more consistent game after the early years of his professional career saw a feast-or-famine pattern in his results.

McGreevy, a seven-year pro, carried a one-stroke lead into the final round of the Memorial Health Championship, built on the strength of a third-round 62 in the Land of Lincoln. Results didn’t come as easily on Sunday, but the Edmond, Oklahoma native rebounded from a bogey at No. 1 with back-to-back birdies on Nos. 5 and 6. From there, he carded nine straight pars until an up-and-down birdie at the par-5 16th. He gave back a shot with a three-putt bogey at the par-3 17th, missing a 2-foot par putt.

Rather than spiraling after that short miss, though, McGreevy rebounded in sterling fashion with a well-placed tee shot at the 436-yard, par-4 18th hole down the fairway’s left side – safely avoiding the pond that hugs the hole’s right side. He flushed a 187-yard approach to 13 feet and seized the moment with a walk-off winning birdie.

It brought him back into the winner’s circle, adding to his victory at the 2020 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper (in Springfield, Missouri) and cementing his place on the 2025 PGA TOUR.

“I've kind of been playing for seven years now, so I think I've figured out the ways to calm myself down, to take a second,” McGreevy said afterward. “Maybe it took a couple of years for me to figure that out, but I've gotten to the point where I can actually relax a little bit more on the golf course rather than what I did in the past.

“Just banking on some old memories and stuff like that and just figuring out what works for me is kind of going to keep me in the best mindset all day.”

This will mark McGreevy’s second time earning TOUR membership through the Korn Ferry Tour. McGreevy earned his first TOUR card via the 2020-21 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, an extended two-year season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to his breakthrough victory in August 2020, that season included a playoff loss at the 2021 Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, after which he memorably grew emotional when discussing the magnitude of his PGA TOUR dream. “This is my life, this is my dream and hopefully I get that chance one day,” he said after falling to Adam Svensson in a playoff in Savannah. He achieved that dream with a top-25 finish on the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2020-21 season-long standings, but he lost his TOUR card after two seasons, finishing No. 177 on the 2023 FedExCup Fall standings.

After two years of living his dream – alongside friends including former housemate Scottie Scheffler – McGreevy returned to the Korn Ferry Tour for 2024, striving to employ a more veteran-type mindset and increase consistency in his results. He has proven through his career that he has the firepower to contend in any given week, but could he develop the well-rounded game to notch decent results even if not playing his best?

This season, he has taken the necessary steps to do so. And he proved at the Memorial Health Championship that the firepower is still there, as well.

McGreevy and his wife Olivia have their first child on the way, which they announced on Instagram just last week. They’re brimming with anticipation for a new phase of life; they know it will change drastically, but they’re ready for it.

And they’ll start their family on the PGA TOUR. That has a nice ring to it.

“It's been seven years now for me (as a pro), and I have had a lot of success, but there's going to be lows,” McGreevy said. “There are going to be so many lows. Fortunately, I'm riding the biggest high of my life after finding out I'm going to have a little girl, winning this golf tournament. But unfortunately, I know that lows are going to come in the future, too.

“But you just have to know that those things happen, and I'm going to enjoy this so much with my wife and my family and all of my friends and everyone. I can't put into words these last couple weeks, last couple months. It's going to make it a lot better having day care on the PGA TOUR next year.”

Boeing gives rare glimpse into 737 Max production facility as it faces whistleblower complaints over safety

By Kris Van Cleave , Kathryn Krupnik , Kelsie Hoffman

Updated on: June 27, 2024 / 11:40 PM EDT / CBS News

As Boeing faces multiple whistleblower complaints over safety, the company recently gave special access in a tightly-controlled media tour to its 737 Max production this week.

The rare glimpse aimed to show changes the company says are being made in real time after a door panel blew out on an Alaska Airlines flight in January.

"I believe the steps we're taking today will make us an even better company," Boeing Senior Vice President Elizabeth Lund said during the tour.

Boeing said missing paperwork was part of the problem regarding the Alaska Airlines incident. The plane left the factory without the bolts holding the door panel properly installed, according to Lund.

"We believe that plug was opened without correct the paperwork," Lund told the room. "We believe it was a non-compliance to our processes at that point by having the plug opened without the correct documentation and paperwork." She explained that a move crew closed the door when they were moving the plane outside after finally assembly but were unaware the bolts had been removed because of the lack of paperwork.

It is this detail that led National Transportation and Safety Board to sanction Boeing for breaking an agreement and disclosing details that were not public about the agency's investigation into the Alaska Airlines incident.

In a letter sent  to Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun Thursday from Timothy LeBaron, director of the NTSB Office of Aviation Safety, LeBaron said that Lund disclosed "non-public investigative information and made unsubstantiated speculations about possible causes" of the door blowout during a news conference Lund held Tuesday.

In a separate statement, the NTSB noted that both actions are prohibited according to an agreement that Boeing had signed that provided the aircraft maker with party status to the investigation.

"As a party to many NTSB investigations over the past decades, few entities know the rules better than Boeing," the NTSB said in its statement.

In his letter, LeBaron said that "given Boeing's unauthorized release" of "investigative information," the NTSB was "imposing restrictions on Boeing's participation in the investigation."

In a statement, Boeing apologized, saying "As we continue to take responsibility and work transparently, we conducted an in-depth briefing on our Safety & Quality Plan and shared context on the lessons we have learned from the January 5 accident. We deeply regret that some of our comments, intended to make clear our responsibility in the accident and explain the actions we are taking, overstepped the NTSB's role as the source of investigative information. We apologize to the NTSB and stand ready to answer any questions as the agency continues its investigation."

Boeing said it's making changes to workforce training to better prepare new employees while raising the skill level of workers hired since the pandemic.

Katie Ringold, the Boeing 737 program's vice president and general manager, acknowledged that the company has work to do, but expressed confidence in the quality of the aircraft coming off the line at the plant.

"We are rolling up our sleeves and are ready to do that work," she said.

Boeing also said it is simplifying design plans and processes to make them easier to follow, along with inspecting components like fuselages before they are delivered in an effort to reduce product defects entering its factories and has slowed production to ensure quality.

During the media tour of the 737 Max production line, Boeing officials talked about the ability employees have to halt work if they see a problem.

"I feel like people are a lot more comfortable to speak up," said Dave Prigg, an employee.

Meanwhile, another whistleblower has stepped forward and filed a complaint with the FAA. Airplane mechanic Richard Cuevas says he witnessed substandard manufacturing and maintenance processes on the 787 forward bulkhead. He was contracted by fuselage manufacturer Spirit Aerosystems.

Spirit and Boeing say they looking into the claims. Boeing said they had previously reviewed the allegations, but engineering analysis determined the issues raised did not present a safety concern. The aerospace giant says they will review the new documentation provided by Cuevas and will "thoroughly investigate."

The FAA told CBS News that from Jan. 5 through May, the agency received 126 Boeing whistleblower reports. In all of 2023, the FAA received 11.

In March, Boeing told lawmakers that it would take up to a year to fix an engine issue on all 737 Max jets.

Max Lousada

Max Lousada is buzzing.

Warner Music Group ’s CEO of Recorded Music is back in his hometown, London, and the sun has come out for what feels like the first time in a spectacularly sodden summer, even by dismal British standards. Both the rays and Lousada have returned just in time for Glastonbury, the legendary festiva l that attracts 200,000 fans and features hundreds of artists across a weekend of music, mayhem — and, in most years, mud.

Related Stories

Youtube tv needs more than the nfl to combat cord-cutting blitz, toronto film festival ceo cameron bailey says 2026 market launch reflects new industry realities: ‘we've got all the building blocks ... it's a wise investment’, popular on variety.

Meanwhile, further down the bill, an array of other acts affiliated with WMG feature, including Burna Boy, Janelle Monáe, Anne-Marie, Rachel Chinouriri, Charli XCX and NewDad. And, Lousada claims with a mischievous smile, their dominance could have been even greater.

“I’m not going to say who the act was, but at one point it looked like we were going to have all three headliners,” he says. “That would have been amazing. I’m always greedy, so I wish I had three, but I’ll take two…” (He declined to comment further, but Madonna, who brought her back catalog to Warner in 2021, was a persistent rumor.)

Lousada can afford to be relaxed. Warner’s Glastonbury supremacy is emblematic of a major label operation that is firing on all cylinders. Its triumphs extend all around the world, with Lousada gleefully listing successes from Argentina (where Maria Becerra recently became the first female domestic artist to headline El Monumental, River Plate soccer team’s 70,000-seater stadium in Buenos Aires) to China (where Charlie Zhou has sold more than a million copies of his “Shenself” album), and most points in between.

Perhaps most impressive, however, is the return to form of Warner Records. Almost seven years after Lousada, in one of his first acts as CEO of recorded music, installed Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Schuck at the helm of the storied company, the label is red hot, with smash hits from Zach Bryan (“I Remember Everything”), Benson Boone (“Beautiful Things”), Teddy Swims (“Los Control”) and Dasha (“Austin”), as well as Lipa’s chart-topping success with her third album, “Radical Optimism”.

Such successes come after a period of upheaval at the major. Robert Kyncl arrived as Warner Music Group CEO in January 2023 and has wasted little time in changing things up. Earlier this year, he laid out a 10-year plan for the company, including refocusing its A&R strategy around “geography and genre.” Despite growing revenues, in February the company announced plans to cut 10% of its workforce to “free up more funds to invest in music”.

Defying the gloom that usually circles such announcements, Lousada – who has been at WMG since 2003 – fizzed with his trademark energy and optimism as he sat down with Variety to talk us through the importance of superfans, the renaissance of Charli XCX and, of course, Glastonbury…

Headlining Glastonbury Festival is a big moment for anybody, but it’s particularly significant for Dua Lipa, isn’t it?

Yeah. This was always one of her big aspirations. From the moment we signed her, she was like, “I want to headline Glastonbury”, so I’m thrilled for that dream to come true. She’s become a really dynamic and incredible performer. That has taken work and real dedication that materialized on the last cycle, when she became an arena act, and now she starts to progress from an arena to a stadium act. This show is going to have some incredible surprises and some unexpected moments – she’s just going to bring the party to Friday night. What I love about Dua as a performer is, her videos are strong, her songs sound great on radio but, live, you can really hear her voice – she has such resonance in her vocals. I’m really looking forward to seeing her play to an audience that hasn’t seen that. The great thing about festivals is, you’re playing to audiences you haven’t necessarily played to before. For Dua, this is going to be a step change and a key moment in her career.

Are you happy with how the “Radical Optimism” campaign is going?

In contrast, Coldplay are Glastonbury headline veterans…

This is the fifth time they’ve headlined. For them to still be vital, to have converted from CD to downloads to streaming and compete in each horizon and keep reinventing new audiences, is brilliant to see. Glastonbury is part of the strategy of the “Moon Music” campaign. We just launched “feelslikeimfallinginlove” and it looks like it’s going to be one of their biggest singles, and they’re coming off their biggest tour of all time. I’m thrilled for them.

Warner Records is on quite a hot streak. What do you put that down to?

The team have been really thoughtful and patient about how they’ve curated their roster. There’s such a debate about the value of A&R and artist development and where labels sit in this modern music ecosystem. And the only way you answer that is by delivering artists, delivering hits and doing it on a consistent basis. The run started with Kenya Grace’s “Strangers”, went into Teddy Swims “Lose Control” and has exploded with Benson Boone. Now you’ve got Dasha, Michael Marcagi and you’re about to get a new Zach Bryan on July 4. There’s a diversity to that roster of both talent and voices, but they’ve all managed to become live acts and they’re delivering songs that not only work in North America, but in every market around the world. Their ability to ignite fanbases in different bits of the world and then join them up is really what global modern artist development is about.

It’s been nearly seven years since Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Schuck took over Warner. Were you always confident they’d turn it around?

I’m fortunate to have experience of how the cycle of artist and label development work. I was pretty honest with them when I put them in the job about what I expected, and also how long it was going to take. Would I have liked this moment to have happened earlier? Sure. Is it appropriate it’s happening now? It’s probably the right sort of time. Whilst you’re developing a roster, you’re also developing teams, so the success is also a reflection of the evolution of the team. It’s not just the headline acts or headline executives, it’s all the roster and the processes that have worked together and that, for me, is the most rewarding thing. I’ve now got a differentiated label in the market both in terms of what they’re signing and how they’re developing, and that’s exciting. I’m very proud of what they’ve accomplished.

And the other WMG labels are also doing well…

Many people in the industry say it’s harder than ever to break artists. What’s your view?

It’s brutally hard, but it’s always been hard! When I started in the music industry, you signed people off a CD. Yes, you might have had some data, because you’d gone to see the show and there was a queue around the block, or there was a context about the energy in the room and the sing-ability of the songs, but it was in Manchester, Glasgow or the East End. It wasn’t global data metrics. It has become more complex because of the volume and therefore, [having] experts around brilliant artists becomes more and more important. But you have to attack artist development with aspiration and romance. The reason it’s called breaking an act is because you’re breaking a ceiling of expectation. And that’s never easy. It’s much more challenging to release music for the artist, because of the noise of socials. But, if you can help navigate them through that, the world is actually much more dynamic and open to them.

How is Robert Kyncl’s 10-year plan for WMG affecting the way you do A&R? I don’t think it’s affecting it in any way, really. Robert comes with a skillset and a breadth of understanding of [streaming] dynamics, consumer behavior and creator behavior. He understands both content from Netflix and algorithmic networks from YouTube and that technology has to play a part both in our offering and our understanding of what’s going on internally. But he also comes with an appreciation of music. Cooking the records is a messy business and he appreciates that we’re privileged to work with artists who aren’t straight lines.

He’s spoken about refocusing around geography and genre – are you seeing results from that?

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks in India recently, because that’s become a real focus of ours. The Indian diaspora is really being ignited by domestic music, which has predominately been on YouTube, but is now coming onto Spotify and therefore exploding out. If you think Latin America was the first [international market] to be truly globalized, then Korea, with a splattering of Africa, India certainly feels like the next [sub-] continent to come online. We live in a world where there’s a rise in domestic music in most markets, so we have to play a part where culture’s actually happening. And we also understand that there are new trade routes, and how India goes into Canada, then Canada goes into the U.K. for Indian music; or how R&B goes into the Philippines and Manila is a trigger city for it to be sold back into LA. Understanding the dynamics of how diasporas and genre communities work is represented both in what we’re seeing within the streaming platforms and what we’re hearing from fan consumption. Robert’s very supportive of us being in all the most important genres that are going to take up listenership in today’s market, and the future market.

When everyone was having data wars, the music industry wasn’t focusing on who was controlling the data, because we were just relieved that streaming was returning us to growth. It’s become increasingly important for labels and artists to have a direct relationship with communities that can drive behavior and monetization. That allows [artists] to have sustainable careers that aren’t just driven off programmatic playlisting and being at the whim of that ecosystem. We’ve seen the effectiveness in Korea and how they’ve built those audiences. That’s what’s so rich about being in this global ecosystem; you can start learning from these affiliates about behavior. We all believe that music is devalued and that artists are probably devalued compared to other consumer choices, and this is a way that we can take more control back for the artist.

So, is the industry moving away from a reliance on TikTok virality?

We’ll always have great media outlets, but we have to realize what purpose they serve. If their purpose is to ignite excitement around a sound or a song, that’s wonderful, but how do you capture that audience? On [Instagram] Reels it waterfalls into followers, it’s slightly more complicated on other platforms. Whilst you feel like you have the permission to speak to your audience directly, the ability to truly understand where they are and who they are for the artist’s purpose is not there. That needs to be balanced out.

And what else can we expect for later in 2024? Is new Bruno Mars and Lizzo music on the way?

That’s what we would hope for, but we’ll have to watch this space! There are many new stories, but also many stories that haven’t been fully told, so that’s what I’m focused on.
