DAY 1: NAPLES ARRIVAL

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel (check-in starts at 4:00 pm). Before dinner, gather for an introductory session with our guide. Enjoy a welcome cocktail and a presentation of the tour, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Naples. Meals: D

DAY 2: NAPLES > CAPRI > NAPLES

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a scenic boat journey to the enchanting island of Capri, a perfect blend of nature, history, and glamour. Explore the renowned Villa San Michele and enjoy a leisurely lunch (not included) at your own pace.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Gardens of Augustus to marvel at the iconic Faraglioni and Marina Piccola. Enjoy some free time before reuniting with the group at the pier. Return to the hotel in Naples for dinner. Meals: B, D

DAY 3: NAPLES > SORRENTO > POMPEII > NAPLES

Commence your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing to Sorrento for a city tour. Next, journey to Pompeii with a stop in Gragnano, renowned as the city of pasta. Immerse yourself in a multi-sensory experience at a significant pasta factory specializing in the artisanal production of 'Pasta di Gragnano IGP.' Indulge in a lunch/tasting session featuring 3 types of pasta, dessert, 1 glass of red wine, and water.

In the afternoon, explore the excavations that unearthed the remains of the ancient city of Pompeii, preserved under ash since the eruption of 79 AD. Return to the hotel in Naples or the surrounding area for dinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4: NAPLES

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a panoramic city tour by bus, exploring the historic center of Naples. Highlights include visits to the Church of Santa Chiara and its beautiful cloister, the Cathedral of San Gennaro, the artisan stores of San Gregorio Armeno, and the historical monumental areas throughout the town.

Enjoy lunch during the excursion, featuring a delightful pizza-tasting experience. Afterward, take a guided walk along Via Toledo, admiring landmarks such as Galleria Umberto I, Piazza Plebiscito, the exterior of the Teatro San Carlo, the Royal Palace, the Medieval Castle of the Anjou, and Piazza del Municipio. Amalfi Coast Experience

Such an amazing experience. I did the Amalfi Coast tour and the whole trip was wonderful. I had Meaghan as a guide and she was incredible, not only extremely knowledgeable about all the sights and locations, but also the friendliest, nicest, person ever. It was my first time travelling overseas and I was pretty nervous as I was doing it by myself but being with Meaghan and the rest of my group honestly felt like being away with friends. I couldn’t recommend this enough.

My group and I loved our tour package. The hotels were very nice and well-located. The rooftop views from the Naples hotel were spectacular, and we loved the spa and pool at our Sorrento hotel. Our tour guides gave us fantastic historic and current context to the areas we toured, from Naples to Pompeii to the towns of Amalfi and Capri. They were personable and very flexible to accommodate the sites we most wanted to explore.

Campania All Inclusive

This trip was absolutely fabulous!! Naples, the surrounding cities, sites, the coastline, the beautiful islands are a must see! I was a solo traveler and Campania Overland certainly delivered. South Italy Campania Escape

Hotel room was large and comfortable = 5* Hotel location was difficult : NO buses, NO subway close by. We had to walk a LOT , even to reach meeting points for daily tours !! (2*) Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. (5*) TOUR to POMPEI / VESUVIO was excellent, considering the conditions... Excellent LUNCH and wine testing (5*) We did the VESUVIO hike, all the way to the TOP ! (5*) TOUR of NAPOLI was good. / We saw many more places, and took the subway (5*) Note : we had problems with the street food . Difficult to find good, relaxing places to have dinner in NAPOLI. ..Next time we will consult a TOUR GUIDE BOOK.

Overall I really enjoyed the Amalfi walking tour. Staying in a small community was a welcome change from the large city tourist experience. The accommodations were as expected, and the Agritourisimo owners were lovely hosts. I especially enjoyed the homemade pasta and desserts. The wine tasting dinner was a lot of fun and the pizza was excellent. I could not have asked for a nicer group of fellow hikers. Our guide, Peter, was very personable, attentive to everyone’s needs and abilities and was knowledgable about the region. I am a 67 year old Canadian woman in excellent health and keep physically very active. I live in a location that is predominantly flat land. I made an effort to climb hills as much as possible to train for the walk but walking on ground is not enough to prepare for all the stone steps on the walks. Stair climbing and descending would be at good training routine. I found going down the steps very hard on the knees, but they felt better after a couple of days of walking on this terrain. I would caution anyone with knee or hip joint problems about choosing this tour. A 76 year old woman in our group had no problems at all. However, after falling on the loose rock the first day, an 85-year-old man from North America was not able to participate in most of the walks. Peter was able to suggest alternate activities for him and his wife and they were still able to enjoy the trip. Anyone older should have excellent balance and be used to walking on uneven terrain and climbing up and down rocky obstacles. I think an upper limit of 85 is overly optimistic for this tour.

Day: 1 naples.

Colourful, vibrant and varied. Welcome to historic Naples, Italy’s third largest city and one of the world’s oldest continually inhabited urban areas dating to its foundations as a Greek colony in the eight century BC. On arrival, transfer to your magnificent hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day: 2 Naples

Enjoy a half day excursion of Naples’ UNESCO World Heritage Listed historic centre, Europe’s largest. Naples’ 2800-year history has bequeathed it with a wide range of culturally and historically significant sites. Its rectangular ancient Greek grid layout is still discernible and its Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque style architecture is visibly prominent. After your morning guided tour, master the art of making Naples’ famed gastronomic delight with a pizza making class, followed by lunch. The afternoon provides leisure time to absorb the vibrancy of this historic city.

Day: 3 Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento

Depart for Sorrento, stopping on the way for a guided tour of Pompeii to view the excavated ruins of a Roman city buried in ash in AD 79 and lost before its rediscovery in 1748. Afterward, enjoy an authentic lunch on a delightful winery. Continue to the beautiful Campanian seaside town of Sorrento to check into your hotel and enjoy an evening at your leisure.

Day: 4 Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento

Spend an unforgettable day on the island of Capri. Embark on the hydrofoil and receive a guided orientation around the Island with leisure time to explore. Options include stepping aboard a motorboat to visit the Blue Grotto or take the gondola from Anacapri up Mount Solaro.

Day: 5 Sorrento – Amalfi – Ravello – Sorrento

Enjoying the scenic drive along the winding Amalfi coastline to visit a terraced lemon grove bearing the region’s famous Sfusato Amalfitano trees. Here, enjoy a tour of the grove and taste lemon treats including the famous limoncello. Afterward, visit the popular town of Ravello for lunch with a breath-taking view of the Mediterranean and the dramatic Amalfi coastline, as well as entrance to the famous Villa Cimbrone. Afterward, enjoy leisure time in the town of Amalfi before returning to Sorrento.

Day: 6 Sorrento – Positano - Sorrento

Enjoy the entire day to explore the famous cliffside village of Positano, with its steep narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes and amazing beaches including the Marina Grande. On the return to Sorrento, be treated to an olive oil tasting experience before freshening up for a closing tour dinner at a local restaurant.

Day: 7 Sorrento

If you are not continuing with us for our back-to-back tour of Sicily or extending into nearby Puglia or Rome, your tour ends after breakfast on hotel check-out.

If there's one thing you must do when visiting Capri, it's a mini cruise around the island . Choose between one of our delightful traditional wooden gozzo boats with all the comforts you need for a day at sea, or opt for a powerful speedboat, also ideal for transfers or longer mini cruises along the Amalfi Coast.

Answers to your questions about our fleet and tours

Can I bring my pet? Yes, we welcome pets of any size on board.

Are the boat tours family-friendly? Of course, we keep safety equipment for children on board and there are large shaded areas. Since our tours are all private, we can customize the tour to your family's pace and your children's ages. There is also space to bring a stroller/pushchair on board. The best boat for those traveling with small children is the SuperGozzo Sparviero.

Are there beverages on board? We have a free stocked open bar for passengers, with water, Coke, beer, and a bottle of Prosecco. We can also stock the bar with additional beverages upon request at a surcharge, including wine and Champagne.

Can I bring my own food and drinks on board? Yes, you can bring what you'd like on board though keep in mind that we can also arrange a hassle-free picnic lunch upon request at a surcharge.

What is included on board? Do I need to bring beach towels? All you need to bring is a swimsuit! We provide beach towels, sunblock, and snorkeling gear. We can also provide a jetski upon request with an additional surcharge.

Is there a WC on board? The boats in our fleet with a WC on board are the tornado 38 and SuperGozzo Sea Breeze.

What if the weather is bad the day of our tour? If weather or sea conditions are inclement, we will cancel the tour for free or try to reschedule for another day, based on our availability and the client's schedule.
