Award-winning comedian Mo Gilligan has announced details of ‘The Black British Takeover’ tour for 2023. Get all the dates and info here…

Following two sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in successive years, triple BAFTA-winning British comedian Mo Gilligan is taking “The Black British Takeover” on tour. Kicking off at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on 3rd November, the run culminates with a show at London’s Eventim Apollo on November 30th.

With Eddie Kadi returning as host, the tour will include the very best in headline names and emerging artists from the Black British Comedy Circuit. The announcement comes off the back of another monumental sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena.

Mo Gilligan says of the new tour:

“I’m really proud of the Black British comedy circuit. It’s where it all started for me and it’s full of so much incredible talent. I’m absolutely honoured to be heading out on tour with these phenomenal comics to showcase even more history-making line ups.”

Ahead of the tour, Mo’s brand new BBC show “That’s My Jam” is set to premiere on December 17th

Still cracking up a week later over the jokes from Mo and Babatundé. Serious throw back from DJ one touch! Great atmosphere from not being able to see live performances for so long. We were very nearly joined by penguins as the Apollo was so bloody cold, it would’ve been even better if most of the of the audience didn’t have to stay in their coats, hats and gloves!

Laugh til my belly buss

Mo never fails to make me laugh. The show was amazing. From the DJ to Bubatunde to Mo himself it was great fun. And like my heading says I laugh til my belly buss.

Worth the two year wait!

My face hurt from laughing so much, was great to see Mo live and Babatunde was also hilarious, both naturally funny and so relatable. DJ One Touch definitely warmed the (freezing) crowd with some old skool bangers. Brilliant night looking forward to the next one.

Named  “The Funniest Man in Britain”  by The Times, Mo’s debut  Coupla Cans  stand up tour was a total sell out, including a huge two week residency in London’s West End. The show went on to be recorded as his debut Netflix Original  Momentum , which was globally released in 190 countries.

In 2021, he went back on tour with  There’s Mo to Life  which achieved another total sell out run including a remarkable 10 dates at the Hammersmith Apollo and a history making O2 Arena show. In 2022 he released his second highly anticipated Netflix Special of the smash hit live show to great critical acclaim.   Mo fronts his own multi award winning entertainment format  The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan , which saw him win his first BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance in 2020 followed by his second for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme in 2022. Mo is also a judge on  The Masked Singer  on ITV1 and ITVX and hosts the UK version of Jimmy Fallon’s  That’s My Jam  for BBC One.

Following two sold-out shows at The O2 in successive years, triple BAFTA winning British comedian Mo Gilligan is taking The Black British Takeover on tour in 2023.

Kicking off at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on 3rd November, the run culminates with a show at London’s Eventim Apollo on November 30th.

With Eddie Kadi returning as host, the tour will include the very best in headline names and emerging artists from the Black British Comedy Circuit.

MELBOURNE, AU (April 27, 2023) – One of the UK’s biggest comedy stars MO GILLIGAN has announced he will be bringing his highly anticipated In The Moment World Tour to Australia and New Zealand in 2024. The triple BAFTA winner will be bringing needing to to Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand.

Tickets go on sale 12pm Friday April 28
