Relaxing and refreshing stay.

Me and my friends family stayed in Champak bungalow for 2 consecutive days. Since it was all raining heavily for both 2 days hence most of the stay was inside Champak bungalow. The best parts of the stay were 1. Service and promptness of MPT Champak Bungalow, Pachmarhi staff, they are awesome when it comes to your smallest needs. 2. The quality and presentation of food is brilliant. 3. The preparation of few dishes was amazing delightful. Here I would like to mention the lemon coriander soup. It was so refreshing that even my 6 months old infant liked it so much. 4. We stayed in ac cottages, it's an amazing option if you want privacy, since they won't be any co-guest walking across your rooms and lobby area. Now a few things that could be improved. 1. Breakfast menu. It's not only limited, but it's also not very properly designed. It could be improvised a lot. 2. The MPT Champak Bungalow, Pachmarhi can include the dental kit as well as a laundry bag. 3. The quality of tea and coffee needs to be improved. But overall it's a brilliant and finest places to stay for refreshing, rejuvenating holidays. Full five stars deserved for the awesome hospitality.

Super food, great service

We were staying as group of five families and traveled from Delhi to Pachmarhi for the first time. Our stay at Champak bunglow was nothing less than fantastic and excellent. We enjoyed every minute at the resort. Never could've imagined that a resort owned and operated by government can be so good. One of the best attraction was the super tasty food and variety we got every day. We were looking forward to every meal every day to such an extent that we decided to meet the head cook Ramji and reward him. Kids were so happy to be at Champak resort. The only flip side was that there was very weak mobile signals and resort’s Wi-fi was not working but that proved a blessing in disguise as we were totally undisturbed for our entire stay. Staff was so cooperative ans was always willing to give you that extra service. One of the other major attractions was the abundance of Nature around u in the resort. So many mango trees were lined up and kids were enjoying some mangoes dropped by monkeys. Great experience. A must visit to Champak is recommended by me. We will surely return.

This is a beautiful property with very nice garden and greenery around. You feel in the lap of nature while staying at this property. The rooms are also spacious and well equiped. The only issue here is regarding service. For any requirement when you call at their reception, it takes 30 to 60 minutes to attend. While checkin and checkout the bell boys are very prompt as they immediately stand in front of you expecting some tip but for other services the experience was horrible. Food was average with very little choice but staff at restaurant were cooperative and catered to your requirement.

Stay was pleasant, location was good and atmosphere was very scenic and natural. No driver room available at MPT Champak Bungalow, Pachmarhi which nowadays a basic necessity found in every MPT Champak Bungalow, Pachmarhi. Hotel staff was very kind and polite with their services. Hotel should try to include outdoor activities in their package to attract more customers. Overall experience for my stay was good. 4 out of 5

Best resort with worst staff and service

Resort is perfect for family, spacious and green. Food quality is awesome. Room service is worst, reception staff behavior is unacceptable as they don't have basic manners and courtesy. They were the most negative staff among all the Mpt properties in MP. And above all they have provided jypsy with driver who didn't have proper licence to drive putting life of us in danger. They were very ok with this fact when we complained about it. If you are asking for room service, then wait for at least 2-3 hours before some one turn up.

It was overall a fantastic experience to the only hill station of madhya pradesh. Through make my trip we chose champak bungalow. Property location is excellent, calm-soothing-stress free zone. All staff specially mr moi n (at reception) and mr rakesh (at eating arrangements) for their hospitality and making our stay comfortable. Food was delicious, rooms were clean and hygienic, swimming pool, lawn and walking track are available and in nice condition. Staff is prompt and ready to help. My compliments to champak bungalow.

Pros: (1) Food - sufficient options, hygienic and cleanliness in all the meals (BLD) (2) Property location was great, clean swimming pool and gym, greenery, prime location in Pachmarhi (3) Rooms - AC standard rooms were spacious especially washrooms, basic amenities available like toiletries, tea kit etc. Cons: (1) Has to chase thrice for housekeeping services like room cleaning, bed sheet change, replacement of teacups (2) Found lizard inside the room, big mosquitoes inside the room, all-out refill was finished.

Home to 14 endangered species, Satpura Tiger Reserve was declared as the first Biosphere Reserve of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1999. It is also known as the paradise for bird lovers. More than 300 species of birds are found here.

Located at an altitude of 1330m atop the Chauragarh peak, the temple comprises 1380 steps. The temple�s courtyard is stacked with thousands of tridents offered by the devotees. The Chauragarh temple is a half-built modern structure with an idol of Lord Shiva in the sanctum.

Believed to be a sacred spot, Chhota Mahadeo is a narrow point in the valley with rocks overhanging a stream and a small spring from which water cascades down.

Built in 1875, the beautiful Christ Churchs Gothic architecture is fascinating. Its altar has a hemispherical dome on top with its ribs ending with faces of angels. The stained-glass panes adorning the walls were imported from Europe and make a gorgeous sight as sun rays pass through them.

The highest point in the Satpura range, Dhoopgarg is a famous spot for witnessing beautiful sunrise and sunset. It offers a magnificent view of the surrounding ranges.

Enveloped in dense forest and wriggling water streams, Handi Khoh is a horse-shoe shaped ravine, the edge of which drops a sheer 100m into the earth. The valley is also well-known for medicinal plants.

Jata Shankar Caves

A sacred cave with enormous boulders perched above, Jata Shankar is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva concealed himself from the wrath of Bhasmasur. A rocky formation of this place resembles the matted hair of Lord Shiva.

Mahadeo Hills

The Mahadeo hill is famous for the ancient shrine of Lord Shiva. The holy shrine holds a divine idol of Lord shiva and also has one of the most beautiful Shivalingas in the Heart of India.

Pandava caves

Five ancient dwellings excavated in the sand-stone rock in a low hill. Pachmarhi derives its name from these caves, which, as the legend goes, once provided shelter to the five Pandava brothers.

Rajat Prapat Waterfall

a 10 minutes adventurous trail from Apsara Vihar Falls, Rajat Prapat falls, rajat rapat fall cascading from the height of 107m, looks like a silver strip falling straight into the forests.
