Vizag is dotted with many beaches along its coastline, with the most famous one being the Yarada Beach. One of the most stunning places to see in all of Visakhapatnam, Yarada beach is surrounded by majestic hills on three sides, and by the Bay of Bengal on the other side. One of the best things about Vizag’s beaches is that they are a lot cleaner and a lot less crowded than other famous beaches along the Indian coastline, and Yarada beach is no exception. It is the perfect place to sit back on the golden sands and witness a marvellous sunrise or sunset.  If you’re a history lover, the Borra Caves are one of the best tourist attractions that Vizag has to offer for you. Nestled amidst the Ananthagiri Hills in Araku Valley, the Borra Caves are over thousands of years old and are the biggest among all the caves found in India. Made entirely of natural karstic limestone, the caves are kaleidoscopic in nature, and the light falling on the rocks coupled with the waterfalls creates an extremely colourful effect, lending an aura of magic and mysticism to the entire ambience. The Katiki Waterfalls, situated a short distance away from the Borra Caves, is a gushing waterfall that measures around 50 feet in height and is completely surrounded by the lush greenery of the valley. The crystal-clear water cascading down the rocks, bordered by the gleaming green foliage is a sight for sore eyes. Being a coastal area, the primary cuisine of Visakhapatnam includes seafood, as well as traditional Andhra South Indian cuisine.  While Visakhapatnam is not exactly renowned for being a shopping destination, you will still find a lot of things that you can take back home. Katiki Waterfalls is one of the best sightseeing places in Vizag. I must recommend this place if you are an adventure lover. The place is situated in the Alluri Sitaram Raju district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. This is the place where you can see the outstanding gardens which are covered with lush green forests.

The place is simply to get rich by car which will take approx 2 hours and 50 minutes journey via Araku. On this journey, you will see many small shacks selling coconut water, roasted corn, pure organic honey, and other food as well.

Once you will reach this mind-blowing place, you will feel wow for sure. This Instagrammable picturesque waterfall is above 50 feet high and the most important thing is that the name comes from the tribal dance. It is one of the best tourist places near Vizag within 200 km.

Google Review – Best waterfall near Araku valley. Personal cars are not allowed. U will have to take a Local Jeep which will take 1500Rs. It will drop u at the bottom from where u will have to trek for 100m to reach the waterfall. U should bring a change of clothes so that u can enjoy yourself to the fullest.

At 1st must say this is a place which has a marvelous creation of nature. The place has located 90 kilometers away from the city of Visakhapatnam and it is almost 750 meters above huge sea level. It is located in the Ananthagiri hills which are situated in the Araku Valley in the Visakhapatnam district.

Google Review – Avoid if you are scared of depth or caves. Otherwise, enjoy the colorful cave and the dripping water(be careful, due to the dripping water, sometimes the stairs are wet and slippery). Anyways it’s beautiful and the river beside is a beautiful view as well. You can find many roadside crafts vendors, maybe you can consider a little souvenir. Enjoy your trip.

2. Rama Krishna Beach
