Arsenal Emirates Stadium Tour

EXPLORE THE UNIQUE, UNRIVALLED AND UNFORGETTABLE EMIRATES STADIUM. Journey into Emirates Stadium and go on an all access behind-the-scenes tour. You’ll have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of your heroes, listen to their match day experiences and explore never before seen footage.

Founded in 1886, Arsenal has a wonderful history from the club’s time at Woolwich, Highbury and Emirates Stadium. The newly refurbished museum offers visitors the chance to take in a number of exciting exhibits. Many of the items on display were kindly donated by former players who hold a special place in Arsenal’s history. Highlights include Jens Lehmann’s goalkeeper gloves that he wore for every league match of the unbeaten ‘Invincibles’ season in 2003/04, Michael Thomas’ boots from Anfield ’89 and Charlie George’s FA Cup Final shirt from 1971: The museum also features two impressive video theatres and twenty major displays based on Arsenal’s proud history.

Nigel Mitchell , the pitch-side presenter of our match day show at the Emirates, take you on a tour behind the scenes as a host of Arsenal stars share their match day experiences. Listen to stories about how the Emirates was built and why areas such as the changing rooms and pitch make the stadium one of the most state-of-the-art stages for world football.

It’s match day and you find yourself in the stands as Arsenal head towards the away goal in search of another goal against Premier League opposition… Relive the action from the stands as your fellow spectators find themselves on the edge of their seats as the ball hits the back of the net!

This is another fantastic new feature, as you walk down the tunnel and feel the roar of 60,000 fans as the match day mascot leads out the team, shaking hands with the opposition and having a pre-match kick about with the club’s legendary mascot Gunnersaurus.

In 2002, relocation plans began and four years later, the club had a new home.

On the site of what was once an old waste disposal estate in Ashburton Grove now stands The Emirates Stadium - a state-of-the-art facility, fit for a club at the higher echelons of the game.

Throughout the 2009/2010 campaign, an "Arsenalisation" project began with the intention of connecting the club's storied past with it's exciting future.

Among the changes was the striking imagery of 32 Arsenal greats "embracing" the 60,000 seater ground.

This - along with the statues of former greats Tony Adams, Thierry Henry and Herbert Chapman - are among just some of the sights that attract thousands through the stadium's doors on both matchdays and non-matchdays alike.

Below is everything you need to know about Arsenal's Emirates Stadium tour.

How do I book my place?

Their main tour is included on multiple concession passes, and they also offer VIP tours which are led by legendary Arsenal players.

Each tour includes access to the Arsenal Museum, a personalized tour certificate, and more.

While there are some short matchday tours that last only 20 minutes long, most tour options are between 1-2 hours in length.

In addition to covering each stadium tour option in detail, this post will also provide information about how to get there and deals you can use to save up to 50% off tickets.

Emirates Stadium Tours and Tickets

There are currently four different tours offered at Emirates Stadium, including both a matchday tour and a VIP experience. Prices start at just £15, and you can enjoy this activity most days of the week.

Arsenal Stadium Tour

This is the standard tour offered at Emirates Stadium, and it provides self-guided access to some of the most notable locations in the arena.

Visitors can expect to see attractions such as the director’s box, the player’s entrance and tunnel, dressing rooms, the press conference room, and even Pitchside!

Everyone who takes this tour will receive an audio guide with commentary from legends such as Charlie George, Lee Dixon, and Nigel Mitchell.

You’ll have the opportunity to listen to this audio tour on a free pair of Arsenal earphones. Admission to the Arsenal Museum and a personalized tour certificate are also included with purchase.

As if all of that weren’t enough, every ticket is valid for up to 3 months, so you don’t even have to worry about booking a date or time to visit!

  • £27/Adults | £18/Children (5-15)
  • £22/Concession (Seniors, Students, Disabled)
  • Free for children under the age of 5
  • Purchase tickets or learn more .

TIP: This tour is included at no extra cost with the London Pass and the Explorer Pass .

Legend Tour

If you’re interested in a more personalized guided tour, this option includes everything from the standard self-guided service along with a 90-minute tour hosted by one of three legends: Charlie George, Perry Groves, or Nigel Winterburn.

Everyone who takes the Legend Tour at Emirates Stadium will receive a photo opportunity with their star and a signed photograph. You’ll also receive a free Arsenal lanyard!

Availability depends on when each Arsenal legend is available, and most tours take place on weekends at either 11 am or 1 pm.

  • £50/Adults | £30/Children (5-15)
  • £40/Concession (Seniors, Students, Disabled)

VIP Legend Experience

This is the most exclusive experience available at Emirates Stadium, and it’s essentially a half-day activity. The tour itself is 4 hours in length, and it’s hosted by both the legend of your choice and pitchside commentator Nigel Mitchell.

In addition to all the behind-the-scenes locations included on other tours, the VIP Legend Experience also offers access to the TV studios where they broadcast the games live from on-site at Emirates Stadium.

Since the tour is so long, it also includes a nice buffet lunch with unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks and more in the Diamond Club. This isn’t your average buffet, either – the food is prepared by a 2 star Michelin chef!

Visitors can also expect one-on-one time with their legend of choice, during which time they will receive a photo opportunity and signing session.

You’ll also get a signed Arsenal lanyard, a premium gift bag, entry to the Arsenal Museum, a guidebook, and a personalized tour certificate.

The VIP Legend Experience is only available for adults over the age of 16. Tickets can sell out several months in advance, so we recommend checking back frequently to make sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity.

  • £325 per person
  • Purchase the VIP Legend Experience or learn more .

Matchday Tour

As the name implies, these tours are only offered on matchdays, and they’re a bit more limited in scope (60 min) as a result of the limited time available for behind-the-scenes activities on these days.

That said, if you’re already planning to arrive at the stadium early, this could be a good way to pass the time before the match begins.

The following tour types are available as matchday tours:

Pro tips to help you make a pick

Just like getting a ticket for the season's biggest match, booking your tour tickets ahead of time is crucial. Not only does it guarantee your entry, but it also might snag you a sweet deal or a special behind-the-scenes experience not available to walk-ins.

If possible, choose a tour date that doesn't coincide with a home game. The stadium is less crowded, and you might get more time at each spot, making your visit more leisurely and thorough.

Before you head out, download the official Arsenal app. It's packed with information about the club and the stadium, and might offer exclusive content or augmented reality experiences during your tour.

The Emirates Stadium is filled with details that are easy to overlook. Pay attention to the names and messages on the Arsenalisation artwork, the plaques under the statues, and even the design elements that reflect the club's history and values.

The Preview: Foxes Face Arsenal Women At Home

- LCFC Women to play Arsenal this Sunday afternoon (3pm BST kick-off) - Tickets for the match at King Power Stadium can be found HERE - City started the new term with a point against Liverpool

Heading into matchday two in the WSL, Leicester are hoping to build on their point against Liverpool , but face tough opposition in the form of Arsenal at King Power Stadium.

Ahead of the game, here's a look at both sides and how you can follow the action...

The Foxes camp

Jutta Rantala

Jutta Rantala

Starting the season with a point.

City, now underway in their fourth consecutive season in the top flight, have one point on the board after an opening day draw with Liverpool at the totally Wicked Stadium.

Last season's top scorer Jutta Rantala found the net for Leicester and was supplied by last season's top provider Yuka Momiki . One WSL debut was made for Leicester in the form of French striker Noémie Mouchon .

Looking to improve on last year's 10th placed finish, Amandine Miquel will face a tough test in her first home game on Filbert Way, and will need the backing of the blue army to cause an upset on Sunday.

The opposition

Beth Mead

Netting a late equaliser against Man City at Emirates Stadium.

This weekend's opponents, Arsenal, also have one point to their name after coming from behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester City on the first day of the season at Emirates Stadium.

One player to watch out for is England international and Gunners' No.9, Beth Mead, who returned to action at the back end of last season after an ACL injury - the forward already with a goal to her name in this campaign after scoring against the Citizens.

Having not won the WSL since 2019, Arsenal's fortune has come mainly in the League Cup, winning the Continental Tyres League Cup in consecutive seasons.

In the dugout

Jonas Eidevall

Jonas Eidevall

Arsenal Manager Jonas Eidevall.

Jonas Eidevall resides in the Gunners' dugout and boasts an impressive record, winning 81 of his 117 games in charge of the London club.

Accumulating to a win percentage of 69 per cent, the Swedish Manager will be hoping to use the advantage of Emirates Stadium, now named as their official home venue for the WSL, to win his first league title in English football.

Last time out

Sam Tierney

Sam Tierney

Sam Tierney scored on the Gunners' last visit to Filbert Way.

Since City's professionalisation, the two sides have met six times, always in the WSL, with Arsenal holding bragging rights. However, in recent times, Leicester have turned into more formidable opponents, scoring their first goals against the Gunners last time out at King Power Stadium.

Sam Tierney's header gave Leicester the lead before Janice Cayman doubled their advantage before the break. Sadly, this only sparked Arsenal into life who came from behind to claim all three points.

Arsenal: Takehiro Tomiyasu 'progressing really well' in injury recovery, says Mikel Arteta

Mikel Arteta has delivered an encouraging new update on Takehiro Tomiyasu as the Arsenal defender looks to return from his latest injury absence.

The versatile Japan international has yet to play at all so far this season after suffering a knee injury during a training session in July, shortly before the Gunners left for their pre-season tour of the USA.

The luckless Tomiyasu ended up missing that trip and the rest of Arsenal’s summer schedule and has been recovering ever since, sitting out all of Arsenal’s first seven matches of the season across all competitions.

A potential timeline for his return had not been set, with manager Arteta insisting that the first phase of the injury had been “slow” and that it was difficult to pinpoint when exactly he might be back.

arsenal fc emirates stadium tour

However, the Spaniard gave far more positive news on Tomiyasu at a press conference held before Saturday’s visit of struggling promoted side Leicester to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League, insisting that the 25-year-old was taking part in some training at London Colney after making real progress and was now in a “good place”.

It remains unclear exactly when he will be available for Arsenal again, with Arteta admitting that he is behind the likes of new signing Mikel Merino in the late stages of his recovery.

“He had partial training today and he looked good,” Arteta said of Tomiyasu on Friday. “He’s progressing really well and is a little bit behind Mikel, but we don’t know with Tomi because he’s another one that pushes every single day. He’s in a good place now I think.”

Tomiyasu will be desperate to finally banish his injury woes, having missed significant periods with calf and knee injuries over recent seasons.

First-choice goalkeeper David Raya remains a doubt for Arsenal to feature against Leicester after suffering a thigh problem during last week’s dramatic 2-2 draw with title rivals Manchester City , meaning 16-year-old academy product Jack Porter became the youngest player ever to start a first-team game for the Gunners in their 5-1 Carabao Cup third-round thrashing of League One side Bolton on Wednesday night, with usual deputy Neto cup-tied and No3 option Tommy Setford injured.

Bournemouth loanee Neto will make his first Arsenal appearance against the winless Foxes if Raya - who has been in inspired form so far this season - misses out again, while Arteta also expressed hope that defenders Jurrien Timber and Ben White would both be fit for Saturday.

However, the game will come too soon for Merino, while Arsenal also remain without the likes of captain Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney due to injury.

Leandro Trossard is available again after serving a one-match suspension in midweek after being sent off in the first half against City at the Etihad Stadium, while Arteta has also confirmed that teenage midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly is available after being forced off with cramp on his full senior debut against Bolton.

Why is Arsenal vs Leicester not on TV in UK? How fans can watch Premier League match

Arsenal and Leicester City will both be eyeing up three Premier League points when they meet at the Emirates Stadium, but UK football fans won't be able to watch the game live on TV

Arsenal will hope to overtake Manchester City into first place in the Premier League this weekend

  • 04:00, 28 Sep 2024
  • Updated 05:16, 28 Sep 2024

Arsenal and Leicester will both be in search of three points at the Emirates this afternoon – but fans won't be able to watch the clash on TV in the UK.

It's been a tough start to the season for new Foxes boss Steve Cooper , who has overseen three draws and two defeats in Leicester's opening five games. A draw against Tottenham on the opening day was followed by back-to-back 2-1 losses against Fulham and local rivals Aston Villa, before successive draws with Crystal Palace and Everton .

They face another tricky test at the Emirates later today, where unbeaten Arsenal await. The Gunners come into the game fresh off the back of their 2-2 draw against Manchester City last weekend, when they looked to be heading for all three points only for John Stones to rescue a point for Pep Guardiola's side in the final minute of the matches.

Arteta will look to keep the pressure on Guardiola and City when they face Leicester , in what is sset to be an action-packed Premier League clash. Unfortunately, those living in the UK who don't have tickets to the game will be unable to watch proceedings unfold. Here, Mirror Football explains why...

Why isn’t Arsenal vs Leicester on TV in the UK?

UK football fans should be aware that neither Sky Sports or TNT Sports will show Saturday's clash between Arsenal and Leicester. The game is one of five English top flight games kicking off at 3pm, which means that it cannot be shown live through the Premier League blackout rule.

The restriction means that any game being played between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on a Saturday cannot be shown live on TV. Newcastle United's game with Manchester City has been selected for a 12.30pm kick off and will be shown on TNT Sports, while Wolves ' 5.30pm battle with Liverpool will be shown on Sky Sports.

However, Arsenal's game against Leicester, Brentford vs West Ham , Chelsea vs Brighton , Everton vs Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest vs Fulham will be unavailable to watch live to those outside of the respective grounds that they are being played in.

Sunday sees Ipswich take on Aston Villa at Portman Road at 2pm, while Manchester United play Spurs at Old Trafford at 4.30pm. Both games will be shown on Sky Sports. The action isn't over after the weekend either, with Sky Sports returning for their Monday Night Football showing of Bournemouth and Southampton come 8pm on Monday night.

Where can I watch Arsenal vs Leicester?

While Arsenal vs Leicester City will not be shown live in the UK, those living in other territories will be able to watch along. Those living in Australia will be able to tune into Optus Sport to watch the game play out, people in Ireland can turn over to Premier Sports ROI 1, and those in Canada can see the match on fuboTV.

Other broadcasters dependent on location include the likes of beIN Sport, SuperSport OTT, DStv Now, ViaPlay and Setanta Sports - and you can find out which network you can watch on depending on where you are in the world here . UK fans can also keep up with the game through BBC Radio 5 Live, or wait for the highlights to play out on BBC Match of the Day at 10.30pm.

Sky Sports will also be running their usual Soccer Saturday show, where fans can keep up with the action across the country - while the network also show highlights of select games just after full time. Despite receiving criticism over the years, the Premier League blackout will remain in place until at least 2029 through a new TV rights package.

A Premier League spokesperson explained to Mirror Football last year that the strict rule is in place to "protect attendances throughout the English football pyramid" and that the English Football League (EFL) would need to be consulted before it is diminished.

Meet the Heroes

David-Seaman-VIP-List

David Seaman joined Arsenal in 1990 and over the subsequent 13 seasons proved himself to be one of world's leading goalkeepers. In a glittering Gunners career, he played over 500 times for the club, winning three league titles, the European Cup Winners Cup, the League Cup and four FA Cups, the last of which came, when he symbolically kept a clean sheet in the 2003 FA Cup final win over Southampton - this followed a match winning save in the semi-final against Sheffield United's Paul Peschisolido, considered the best save ever seen by many observers. An England international with 75 caps for his country, 'Safe Hands' was a hugely reassuring presence in goal, combining athletic shot stopping and reflexes with excellent decision making and a calm demeanour.

Ray-Parlour-VIP-List

The gifted midfielder, dubbed the "Romford Pelé" by team-mate Marc Overmars is truly "one of our own." He rose through the ranks in the 1990s, becoming an important part of Arsène Wenger's first Double side and blossoming into the cultured player fans remember, especially for his wonder goal in the 2002 FA Cup Final.

Jack-Wilshere-VIP-List

Jack joined the club at the age of 9. Working his way up through the academy, he made his debut at just 16 years old, our youngest league debutant at the time. With nearly 200 appearances and two FA cups to his name, Jack became a fan favourite playing with his heart on his sleeve. Arsenal fans will fondly remember his man of the match performance in the 2-1 victory vs Barcelona in 2011. A star for his club and country and is now the current head coach of the Arsenal Under-18s.

Lee-Dixon-VIP-List

Lee Dixon spent an impressive 15 years at Arsenal making 619 appearances - leaving him fourth in the all-time list - and scoring 28 goals. A year after joining the Club, Arsenal won their first league title in 18 years. A key part of Arsenal's defence, Dixon helped the Club to four Premier League titles whilst also collecting three FA Cup winners' medals and a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup medal. His retirement came at the end of Arsenal's domestic double-winning 2001/02 season, Arsenal's third Double and their second in Dixon's time at the Club.
