Hurghada Jeep Safari Itinerary

On the day of your Hurghada jeep safari, one of our tour representatives will meet you at your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna. You will then head out into the desert in a modern air-conditioned 4×4 jeep. This trip will cover a distance of roughly 35 kilometers. The route you will follow between the mountains of the Sinai desert is truly amazing and your guide/driver will be happy to stop whenever you want to take photographs.

During your trip in the desert, you will also stop place where you will have the chance to see mirage. Seeing a mirage is nothing out of the ordinary for those who live in the desert, it never fails to astonish those who have never witnessed this before. When you see a mirage for the first time, you can’t help thinking that your eyes are deceiving you.

Your Hurghada jeep safari will eventually lead you to an area where you will meet up some local Bedouin. Spend some time riding around in the desert on a camel, and then it will be time for some quad biking around a Bedouin village. Quad biking in the desert is an amazing experience that gives you a wonderful sense of freedom.

Witness an absolutely breathtaking desert sunset on your quad bike, and then it will be time to for you to join some local Bedouin in the village for a delicious BBQ dinner. Enjoy your authentic Bedouin dinner. Bottled water and soft drinks will be provided with your dinner. After you have finished eating, you will be treated to special and very entertaining “Oriental” show.

Enjoy the show, and then you will be able to relax and admire the star-filled desert night sky while you are making your way back to Hurghada. On arrival at Hurghada, you will be dropped off back at your hotel, and then your Hurghada Jeep Safari will be over.

A one-hour drive by jeep through the desert brings you to the starting point of your tour. You will be met by the Bedouin hosts and introduced to their way of life. You will have a look at the life of these extraordinary people, drink tea with them and ride on a camel. Create lasting memories on a unique Safari Adventure in the Egyptian desert next to the Red Sea with ( Egypt stargazing ). It is one of the best things to do, for who that like to combine lots of things in one day; Camel ride, Watch sunset, Bedouin Dinner and Stargazing.

We will pick you up from your hotel around 2:30 pm, drive approximately 30 minutes into the desert where you will start your trip. You will start off with a 20 minutes Camel Ride in and around the Desert Mountains. After that you will sit in a Bedouin tent where you will be welcomed by the Bedouins to have the original Bedouin tea, and you may sit around a camp fire to watch the Bedouins making the Bedouin bread, with the opportunity to make one for your own.

Your tour guide will give you some interesting information about Bedouins, their life, their camels, how to they live simply in the desert whilst sitting in the tent. View the stunning, natural landscape of the desert as you watch the sunset disappear behind the mountains.

You will then be served a wonderful candle lit fireside dinner in a genuine Bedouin tent to enjoy under the stars. Also if you wish you have the chance to enjoy smoking a shisha “Water Pipe” during the show “at extra charge”. After the show you will have the opportunity to enjoy the complete dark sky. Before being returned to your hotel your guide will take you out into the dark desert to take a look at some constellations, Polar Star, Ursa Minor & Ursa Major, and give you some interesting information about the stars, planets, moon and some constellations.

Now time to experience the brilliance of our galaxy full of stars and planets without the light pollution of the city through our powerful telescopes, and learn about the constellations, stars and planets from our professionally trained astronomical guides. Then you take it in turns to look through a telescope to see the different planets and skies. It really is an amazing experience.

Take a ride by 4x4 deep into the heart of the Egyptian desert, home to the Bedouin people, there you can experience the beauty of the desert at sunset and enjoy a typical BBQ dinner with your new friends. Your adventure begins with a with a pick up from your hotel to take you on a 4x4 ride through the Eastern desert of Egypt. The 35km ride gives you plenty of opportunities to photograph the landscape and get a deeper understanding of what life is really like in desert conditions  Later, you will arrive in a Bedouin village for a tour which will teach you about the lives of the local people and their traditions. Here, you can also take a short camel ride through the desert by sunset, a truly memorable experience. This jeep safari takes you from Cairo through beautiful Marsa Matrouh to the isolated Siwa Oasis where you can explore the ancient town and Temple of the Oracle where Alexander the Great was named ruler of Egypt. Then head out for a spectacular sunset over the sand dunes in the Great Sand Sea.

Tour itinerary

DAY 01 - Cairo / Al Almein / Marsa Matrouh : Meet with your Safari Guide and depart on the early morning on the drive to Al Almein, the place where the Allied forces of WWII gained a decisive victory over the Axis forces. There is also a war museum with collectibles from Battle of Al Almein and other North African battles. Then to Marsa Matrouh to visit the Rommel Museum, hewn in the rock, where Rommel drew up the plans of his military operations. It has now been turned into a Military Museum and is also famous for British, Italian and German Cemeteries. Arrival to the hotel in Marsa Matrouh.

DAY 02 - Siwa Oasis: Early morning we continue driving by 4WD to the fantastic Oasis of Siwa. Here visit the mud-brick town of Shali towering above the oasis, the remains of the ancient Temple of the Oracle of Amun with a panoramic view for the whole area, the Gabal El Mouta, the mountain of the dead, and the interesting tombs from the Greek-Roman period. Overnight stay.

DAY 03 - Cleopatra Bath & Siwan House Museum: In Siwa we also visit the famous Cleopatra VII bath, a deep pool of bubbling water where you can bathe, along with the saltwater lake of Siwa located in the west. We will tour the oasis to know more about the Siwan and Bedouin by visiting the Traditional Siwan House Museum in the town center. In fact, the area is also well known for its crafts, particularly woven cloth, which is unique in Egypt. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 04 - Great Sand Sea: Drive to the charming spring of Beir Wahed to relax in a hot water spring and cool off in the cold water spring surrounded with palm trees amongst the sand dunes. Then there is the chance to witness a spectacular sunset over the sand dunes in the Great Sand Sea. Overnight camping.

DAY 05 - Cairo: Awake early for an amazing sunrise in Beir Wahid the drive back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Description.

A jeep safari is a desert trip perfect for those who want to see the highlights of the desert without the adrenaline rush of quads. You will be collected from your hotel by jeep at about 1:30pm and you will drive to the Bedouin village (about 25km deep in the desert). On the way you will have 1 or 2 stops to admire the magnificent views of the Arabian Desert. Jeep safari has a quiet pace of exploring - it gives you time to take great pictures of beautiful landscapes. 

After reaching the Bedouin village, a camel ride awaits you, a visit to the pharmacy (herbalist), the bakery, where you will watch how Bedouin bread is made and of course have a taste and the weaving factory, where you can buy Bedouin products. You will also see hand-dug wells, mosques and Bedouin houses, you will take pictures of the beautiful sunset. 

After sightseeing, you will have a meal or barbecue by candlelight. After dinner, you will sample a small dose of Bedouin folklore. You will return to the hotel at around 6pm.

Hurghada este una dintre destinatiile de top de la Marea Rosie, din ce in ce mai ofertanta si pentru turistii romani, dornici sa-si petreaca vacantele intr-un loc calduros si atat de bogat in experiente.

• dupa cina, vei putea admira stelele (cerul este de cele mai multe ori senin in aceasta zona), urmand ca ulterior sa fii transferat din zona satului beduin inapoi la hotelul tau din Hurghada.  

Preturi safari Hurghada 

Preturile pentru o experienta safari Hurghada pot varia de la un operator la altul, dar si de la o excursie la alta, caci, asa cum ai vazut mai sus, trip-urile pot fi diferite. 

Este evident ca o experienta care implica doar o plimbare cu atv-ul, jeep-ul sau cu masinutele buggy va fi mai putin costisitoare comparativ cu o experienta la care se adauga si cina cu beduinii, plimbarea cu camila sau show-ul oriental. 

Majoritatea pachetelor includ din start transferul de la si inapoi la hotel, plimbarea cu atv, spider/buggy sau jeep, urmand ca tu sa alegi daca vrei sa ramai in desert si pentru a lua cina, pentru a admira stelele, pentru a te plimba cu camila sau pentru a participa la un show cu dansuri orientale. Sunt si pachete care includ plimbarea cu un vehicul prin desert si ulterior toate experientele extra mentionate mai sus.

Preturile in 2022 pornesc de la 15-20 dolari (pentru o experienta de 2-3 ore cu ATV prin desert) si pot creste pana la 50-60 dolari, daca vorbim despre un tur de mai multe ore, cu cina inclusa. 

Spre exemplu, o experienta safari Hurghada de 7 ore, care include preluarea de la hotel, ghid pe parcursul calatoriei, apa imbuteliata, transferuri catre atractii cu un jeep safari 4×4, plimbare cu camila, plimbare cu atv-ul in jurul satului beduin, oprire pentru vedere la apus catre hurghada, cina in stil barbeque, cu apa si bauturi racoritoare incluse si spectacol de dansuri orientale, are, in 2022, pretul de 45 dolari pe site-ul unui operator local cunoscut.

Cea mai buna perioada pentru safari Hurghada si alte sfaturi

Inainte sa achizitionezi un astfel de pachet, e bine sa pui operatorului toate intrebarile pe care le ai referitoare la experienta ta. 

Cum te imbraci la safari Hurghada? In primul rand, cu haine pe care poti sa le murdaresti fara prea mari regrete sau pe care nu vrei sa le mai porti in vacanta respectiva. E de asteptat sa nu ramai cu o tinuta tocmai impecabila in urma plimbarilor cu ATV-ul, insa, in definitiv, conteaza sa te simti bine, nu-i asa? 

Tine cont si de temperaturi, caci miezul zilei este foarte calduros in desert, insa catre venirea noptii, vremea se raceste destul de mult. Ia cu tine un hanorac sau o jacheta subtire daca excursia ta include si oprirea pentru cina. 

Cea mai buna perioada pentru safari Hurghada poate fi in primavara (martie-mai) sau in toamna (octombrie-noiembrie), caci temperaturile se pastreaza inca placute, iar pe timp de zi nu vei avea parte de arsita specifica lunilor de vara. 

Pe de alta parte, daca esti conditionat sa-ti faci vacanta in Hurghada in lunile iunie, iulie, august sau chiar inceput de septembrie, asteapta-te la temperaturi ridicate in desert pe timp de zi si la un soare foarte puternic. Ia cu tine o palarie/sapca si nu uita sa te hidratezi corespunzator si sa folosesti crema cu factor de protectie ridicat.

Jeep Flexes its 4×4 Muscle with Four Easter Jeep Safari Concepts

Easter Jeep Safari is a massive gathering of 4x4s that sees off-roaders flock to Moab, the unofficial rock-crawling capital of Utah, for the yearly festivities. Jeep has regularly used Moab as a proving ground for its vehicles, as the slick rock, sand, and mud offer challenging terrain that tests a 4×4’s articulation, grip, and general usability.

The brand also values Moab as a place to show new Jeep designers and engineers some of the extreme use cases that the vehicles need to endure, as well as learn how buyers modify their 4x4s. It has a history of bringing outlandish and capable builds to the annual gathering at Moab, many of which have previewed future production options like 35-inch tires and even several Wrangler-based pickups years before Gladiator hit the market.

For 2024, Jeep will be showing off four builds on the trails around Moab that display the broad spectrum of Jeep capability.

Willys Dispatcher Concept

Chris Piscitelli, Senior Manager Jeep Exterior Design, described the Willys Dispatcher as a celebration of “Post WWII Americana.” Based on a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe, the Willys Dispatcher uses a two-inch lift and a pair of Dana 50 axles to fit 16×7-inch steel wheels and 36-inch Super Traxion tires. The relatively skinny tires, “Willys” embossing on the hood, and Warn 8274 winch are all retro off-roading throwbacks. So are the simple steel bumpers and the custom Element 115 green paint that evoke ‘50s design. The retro theme continues inside, where the factory seats ditched their headrests and wear distressed saddle leather upholstery with houndstooth inserts. A Jeep Performance Parts vinyl floor covering replaces the carpet to continue the retro theme.

Low Down Concept

Revisiting the Lower Forty concept from 15 years ago, Low Down is all about fitting massive tires while keeping the center of gravity low. Its stock Rubicon 392 suspension was left as is, and its Dana 60 axles still manage to wear monster 42×14.5-inch tires on 20-inch beadlock wheels. Repositioned front fenders and some trimming of the bodywork allow the tires to fit. While it’s a four-door, the rear handles were shaved to give a clean appearance and mimic the extended-wheelbase two-door JK that Jeep fans have nicknamed “LJ”.The interior of Low Down is devoid of screens “because racecar.” It also doesn’t have a radio because its exhaust is all the soundtrack you’ll need.

Some of the inspirations for Low Down include ‘60s Ferrari race cars and the Lancia Stratos. That inspiration is clearly reflected in the hood bulge. The clear bubble is perforated by eight holes as an homage to vintage race cars and to denote the V-8 powerplant. The result is a rowdy rock-crawler that offers approach and departure angles of around 90 degrees so that it can approach nearly vertical rock walls, with enough power to climb them.

Matt Hilburn, Manager Mopar/Jeep Performance Parts Design, said that the idea of High Top was to show how much performance could be had in a Gladiator that was still attainable. Its Dana 60 axles are filled with 5.38:1 gears to help the V-6 powertrain tame the mass of 40-inch tires and 18×9-inch KMC Grenade beadlock wheels. An AccuAir adjustable suspension provides the lift to clear the tires while flexing on the trail while still staying relatively low for on-road jaunts.

A set of JPP concept flat fender flares cover the tires and an AEV front bumper provides trail protection and a tidy place to mount a Warn winch. Its Gingersnap Metallic paint and satin black graphic are a throwback to ‘70s and ‘80s J10 pickups. The color scheme is inverted for the interior, where Alea leather seats use black diamond-quilted inserts and bolsters.

Vacationeer

In another bit of throwback design, the Vacationeer is Jeep’s take on a road trip vehicle that balances off-road capability and on-road comfort. Finished in a retro green called “Spearminted”, the Vacationeer looks like last year’s Grand Wagoneer Overland with a decidedly ’60s slant. Its fascia and reshaped wheel wells, along with a 1.5-inch lift, fit 35-inch BF Goodrich mud-terrain tires on 18×9-inch Method 701 eight-spoke wheels finished in white as a nod steel wagon wheels. In another vintage homage, this big hauler got a touch of wood paneling. The 3D wood stripe is not the usual billboard we’re used to seeing of the Brooks Stevens Wagoneers, but it’s appreciated nonetheless.

Just like the concept from last year, this Jeep ditched the second and third-row seats and second-row sunroof to make way for an access port to the Redtail Skyloft rooftop camper. This time, however, Kiel James Patrick helped with the interior design. The seat upholstery and bedding in the folding camper feature a matching print that incorporates classic Jeep models.
