We took this tour in March of 2024. Great experience. Our driver Mr. Hollywood was awesome. He knew a ton of history about the area and pointed out lots of sites that I never knew about. Mulholland dr had a detour so we got to see an awesome view of the surrounding neighborhood. Over all a great tour and worth the price. Also got 10% off from the gift shop for going on the tour. All my kids got something and at a discount to boot.

Owner is so rude he has no manners and he is overpriced. Don't recommend find another company!

Great tour. Our guide was so friendly, knowledgeable, great humor & a safe driver. Tour was a bit longer than we were anticipating but we had a really good time & enjoyed it. It was perfect weather for the ride - early January but sun was out & temp was good & it was a really beautiful day. :-) *The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pics I saw in advance showed an open-top van but the van we had was only open on the sides. Not a big deal & still enjoyable but the open top would've been nice & I feel they shouldn't depict that if it's not going to be what they give.

I was searching online came across them. For $35 a person for 90min tour I believe it was a good deal. Saw many sights. Driver was very informative and drove safely the whole time.

Was very disappointed with this. My grandma was in town and wanted to some of the celebrity homes and sightseeing spots in LA. A lot of the houses are "5 stories down" as our guide kept repeating, so you wouldn't really see their house, just the rooftop or gates. I understand it's hard to see some of the houses because they're all gated, but it's not at all as advertised. Before we even got on the bus, one employee (possibly the owner?) was yelling at passengers to sit in different places, so that groups boarding the bus next were able to sit together. This is fine and makes sense, except nobody else boarded the bus and there were a ton of open seats. Everyone moved back to where they wanted once we finally got started. I say finally because we circled the block twice to begin, waiting for more passengers to board, who never did. Not even halfway into the tour, the microphone on the bus went out. Our driver & guide pulled over every 15 minutes or to provide us information for the tour. Maybe our group was just more educated on Hollywood and LA, but it felt like they had no interesting or new information to share. At one point my boyfriend even said it felt like he was just making it up as we went. If it's going to be under 70 degrees during your tour, bring a jacket, and maybe even a hat and scarf. It was low 60s when we went, but because of the no window bus style, we were freezing. For only ~$35 per person and a 2 hour tour, I guess you get what you pay for? I wouldn't do this again though, and don't recommend it for others. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, honestly just because I feel bad.

Hilariously bad. I'll give our experience two stars because afterward we were so appalled that we agreed we'd never forget the it. I mean, we knew what we'd probably be getting from a tourist trap bus tour in Hollywood and had appropriately low expectations, but our girls thought they'd at least get to see one of Taylor Swift's houses (as advertised) and we'd get a drive around Hollywood without having to worry about actually driving. So fair enough. Low bar. But yikes, y'all. The tour was supposed to start at 5:30 but we didn't actually get moving until almost 6, whereupon the driver/guide (Magic Mike?) announced it would be getting dark so we "probably wouldn't be able to see shit." So all the celebrity homes that we were supposed to see? Yeah, nah. We saw where Charlie Sheen lived in the 90s and a bunch of reality stars, but mostly where someone died or got arrested. Oh, and the driver pointed out all of the adult toy stores and opined o the quality of the Hustler store and Larry FLynt, and the best places to get roleplay and bondage gear, and a few strip clubs too. The kids, who were about half the passengers, had LOTS of questions. Fun! At one point my daughter said she'd just have to tell people some random house we drove by was Taylor's, because that's all she cared about. But the driver. Dear lord, the driver. Cheerfully announcing he wasn't stopping for any red lights or stop signs, weaving through moving traffic, then taking a short cut to skip a third of the tour because we were behind schedule thanks to the half hour-late start that ended up getting us stuck in traffic on Mulholland thanks to a wreck, thus cutting the tour even shorter... And he cussed every other driver and called the the R-word multiple times for literally obeying traffic laws (at one point he started yelling at someone to just effing go through a red light because there wasn't a cop around), occasionally threatening violence, and yelling at the kids sitting behind him to shut up or their mother for not shutting them up, all over an open mic. Hilarious. So if you do want a horrifically memorable experience, go ahead! Be forewarned there's literally no heat in the but, not even from floor vents, so if you go after sunset bundle up. I wouldn't recommend it though, because as the driver said, you won't be able to see shit.

Kent was an excellent tour guide. Company was Open Bus Tours-- Review: My family and I had a great time on the little tour bus going by the houses (i.e., mansions) of the stars. Kent was an excellent tour guide: knowledgeable, funny, and courteous. He even pointed out the Bugattis that whizzed by us in Beverly Hills. It sounds like that's going to be his next car. :-)

We did the tour on new year's eve. It was poor. Apart from the fact that it was cold but the guide couldn't care less and would drive super fast on top of the hills (Mulholland Drive), it seems that he just wanted to finish early on the 31st of December. The tour was supposed to last 2 hours but ended after 1h30mins, which is frankly unacceptable. It was rushed, unclear, not considerate of the guests on board and just generally repeating lines and jokes that the audience wasnt taking to. Essentially the guide was entertaining himself rather than us and even had the guts to blatantly ask for tips, which he didn't get from anyone. This was a big disappointment.

From the first encounter with the very friendly but not pushy vendor to the last blast down the Boulevard this was a great tour. The Driver was really funny and kept us well amused with his humour and held our interest with his knowledge. I checked out some of the addresses we looked at and there was no Bull - truly the abodes of the stars! This was a great way to have a whistle stop tour of the Hollywood sights. The HOLLYWOOD sign, sunset strip, Rodeo Drive and associated stars and history. It was all there. Fully recommend e Hollywood tours / openbustours.com

Yervand was great, very courteous and a true gent. His knowledge of the area was brilliant. We had a load of flyers thrust into our hands and we chose the e Hollywood tour because of the friendly relaxed approach. They actually spoke to us like real people. Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills , sunset strip all so cool 😎. And we got to see the House of Scarface!! ( aka Al Pacino). We totally recommend e Hollywood tours.😊.

I visited Los Angeles with my family from Switzerland, and we stumbled upon E Hollywood Tours. What a great experience, it was fun for everyone, the guide was very knowledgeable about the latest celebrity gossip, and the tour went smoothly. Open roof bus was splendid for the kids! I can highly recommend booking a tour with E Hollywood, there are many other providers on the streets hustling, but this one was very professional.

Just FYI, your mistake and the cancellation has cost me a lot of time and money today on my first day on vacation! It's not appreciated for whatever the reasons are and somehow y'all should have made away for our plans to continue. Instead I'm on a way more expensive tour not even on the open bus as the person I spoke with stated it would be. While you are off touring the city, I'm still waiting I line accomplishing nothing. I will be sure your reviews reflect.

It was my first time in LA and I was very surprised by the quality of the tour throughout Hollywood! Connie provided an absolutely stellar guide of the Hills, Rodeo, and the popular places that celebrities all frequented. I was amazed by the depth of information she knew about the residents. I felt like I was house and movie scene hunting throughout the entire tour! She definitely left me with a greater appreciation of the celebrity lifestyle in Hollywood. I highly recommend this tour to people who come to LA. I was blown away!

Hop-on hop-off bus tour launched in HCMC's Chinatown

A new open-top, double decker bus has begun providing tours of Ho Chi Minh City's Chinatown this week.

The hop-on, hop-off bus service will run every 30 minutes, providing 30 trips from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every day

The route is a 20-kilometer journey, spanning a total of two hours, allowing passengers to board and deboard at any stop along the way. The buses travel from the Saigon bus station, through the downtown District 1 and Chinatown's Districts 5 and 6.

Nguyen Khoa Luan, Director of Anh Viet Hop-on Hop-off Vietnam Company, said the tour offers visitors an opportunity to explore the lively vibe of districts 5 and 6, known as the southern metropolis's Chinatown, a vibrant hub of local Chinese culture and commerce.

The neighborhood is known for it’s authentic food and spirited markets.

Historic architectural spots along the tour include Ong Pagoda - Nghia An Assembly Hall, Tue Thanh Assembly Hall, Thien Hau Pagoda, Minh Huong Communal House, Nhi Phu Assembly Hall - Ong Bon Pagoda, Cha Tam Church, Cho Lon Mosque, and the iconic rows of old Chinese shophouses on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street.

The traditional markets peppered along the route will allow visitors to explore genuine local culture. The most popular stops are Binh Tay and Kim Bien markets in Chinatown, and Ben Thanh in District 1.

Tickets for the bus ride services can be booked online, or at tourist agencies and bus stations, with prices ranging from VND200,000 (US$7.86) per person.

The tours’ operator has been a popular tourist service provider in HCMC in 2015. In December last year, the firm launched its "Sleepless in Saigon" double-decker bus tour, offering visitors an opportunity to travel overnight via 30 routes through nearly 20 tourist attractions in Vietnam’s largest and most bustling city.
