Did you skip your workout today? No worries, just go to a Pink concert and you will have your fix! My god, from the car ride to the parking lot, in line to our seat until show time....I couldn't stop moving. Then the she devil cardo instructor came on stage and took moving to a whole new level. It was impossible to stay still, even for only a minute...and it was awesome. Pink is fearce! She commands. She directs. She owns the stage, audience, costume, the night. She is a sweet rebel that does something crazy to you when she's singing. She makes you feeeeel or want to kick someone's ass. It's incredible. You could be riled up, fist pumping and jumping away. Loosing all sense of personal space but so is everyone else so it's cool. Then the next set, phones and lighters in the air, lights down low and you are trying to catch your breath so you can hear or try to sing along with the lyrics to your fifteenth favorite song of the night. And it goes on and on like this...all...night...long! Day-night. No matter. She doesn't stop. It's electric and chaotic and raw and I have to say, funny. Yeah she's a ball buster and lights up the crowd not only with her music, but her personality. And that's hot.

So you are sick of P!nk flying around. You've seen her do it time and time again at award show performances. Seeing it live is nothing like that! P!nk does everything from the acrobatics, to acoustic, throwback 90s R&B dancing all while singing LIVE. Through out it all she sounded amazing. She engaged the crowd and took us with her on a beautiful journey.

I usually do not care for arena tours but she proved me wrong. She used the whole arena; not just the stage. She showed us her beautiful acrobatic talents. Suspended from the top of the arena she got close to everyone in the building at some point in time. Much better than a stage that moves to different parts if you ask me. P!nk covered music off each one of her albums. She reminded us all of her talent and staying power. Yeah we know she is a bad ass but she showed her beauty and grace as well. She danced, yes danced her best 90s R&B moves to cover the beginning of her career.

She shared video footage of her family which she keeps pretty secluded. It was touching to see miss Bad Ass showing her vulnerable side, reminding us all that she in a way is just like us. Amazing show for an amazing talent.

There are simply no words to describe the experience that is a Pink concert. I have attended a myriad of concerts for a variety of artists and styles, and nothing I have attended has ever come close to the energy and effort that Pink has shown on multiple occasions. Using her time on stage to its full power, she covers all the bases. Usually starting with one of her many classics, she alternates fairly between the singalong songs of her popular past and the new upbeat works that have dominated the radio. Whilst showing off her vocal talents she is also not a stranger to showcasing her other multiple talents, from ribbon climbing, bungee jumping and crowdsurfing in a giant inflatable ball! Her interaction with her audience is exemplary and heartfelt, often promoting LGBT rights and gender equality. Each time I have attended one of her performances I have never been disappointed, and plan to attend many more in the future. I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys a lively and fun-filled night to come along and enjoy it with me!

This tour date was my second time seeing P!NK on the Beautiful Trauma tour. (I got to travel to Charlottesville for a date on the tour in 2019.) When the Charlotte, NC, date was announced for this March, I had hoped to be able to go because it's near my birthday this time. This date was just as awesome. (I have listened to P!NK's albums since her first album was released when I was an assistant manager in a music store.)

P!NK is personal, on point, and gives audience participation a new meaning. She's working hard to keep her body prepped to do everything she does on stage, and as a female in her age group as well as a lifelong singer and musician's spouse, I applaud her voice and her choices in everything she puts together for her concert tour dates. If you were hesitant to go to the tour date because you hear her music and do not go to concerts, then I recommend you try to go to at least one tour date. You will not be disappointed!

I had seen P!nk live at Madison Square Garden in NYC once before when she had started using the silks onstage, so I knew her shows were impressive. But nothing prepared me for last night. Not only does she entertain with a well-choreographed show, she’s humble, she’s funny and the show brims with passion. This is a well-rehearsed production, yet she still makes it feel spontaneous. There are lots of fast rock-out songs with pyrotechnics but also quiet moments where her voice shines during the ballads. Highlights for me were the nod to Gwen Stefani/No Doubt blend of Just a Girl with her own Funhouse and her flying all around the arena like Tinkerbell during So What. What a phenomenal show. What a phenomenal performance. P!nk sure gives you your money’s worth. I tend to avoid big stadium concerts, but for P!nk I’ll gladly make an exception. Go see her! You won’t regret it.

As always, P!nk is the consummate performer. She isn't happy just standing on a stage and performing from her vast catalog of hits. She puts on a show complete with a kick-a$$ band and a whole troupe of dancers. She has had years of gymnastics training and it shows in her daring aerial moves. After seeing many of her shows, I'm always so disappointed when I see other artists just stand there and sing. They can't hold a candle to Alecia Beth Moore Hart aka P!nk! I take my Kindle along to other shows but not with P!nk. I'm afraid I might miss something, so my eyes are glued to the stage. If you haven't had a chance to see her, add it to your bucket list. You won't be sorry.

Pink, seeing her live made me love her even more! She has LOTS of energy and is mega fun!! It was a night of fun, excitement, and dancing like you don't care. Pink is personal and someone you really want to be around. Her song "So What," was THE BEST! She was hooked up to wires and singing, not lip sinking lip sinking and soaring all over the theater. She was doing flips and spinning perfectly! She didn't show any tiredness at all. She did some more acrobatics for other songs that were pretty amazing as well. Best concert I have ever been too! Hope to see her again and again!

When I first bought the tickets they seemed expensive but having attended the show I think they were worth every penny.

I felt that Pink is an amazing entertainer who engaged with the audience and also showed appreciation for the other performers. Not only this but she has ( as evidenced by the video clips) done lots of ambassadorship things for worthy causes.

I felt she can across as a very warm caring person of incredible talent and I enjoyed the whole event.

Would definitely like to see her in concert again. Truly spectacular.

Amazing visual set and performances. Pink, as always, commanded the stage and the air all while belting her touching, hilarious and energetic songs. This time complete with a version of Smells Like Teen Spirit that confused some but had her long time fans screaming their lungs out. If ever given the chance to see her...take it!!! My two friends who kind of knew her music saw her for the first time at this show and have now declared it their favorite show of all time!

What can I say other than Pink is totally wonderful, a diva artist with a sweetness that is apparent even on stage, her acrobatic stunts are simply amazing, the state was beyond amazing, the dancers, the music assemble, the singing, this woman is a true artist, we loved every minute of it and I am so happy we were able to see her perform live, I place her to the 3 tops concerts I have ever attended. Love her!!!!!

P!NK's concert in Phoenix: Acrobatic spectacle, raw emotion and Brandi Carlile's last stop

p nk on tour

P!NK appeared to be doing her best Max Headroom as a computerized image of the singer welcomed fans to Chase Field in downtown Phoenix on Monday, Oct. 9, for a concert she said would be "a carnival, a cornucopia of pleasures, a celebration."

It was also something of a circus, as expected.

The singer most likely to slingshot her way to the farthest reaches of a stadium in acrobatic rigging launched her set with a song designed for such occasions, "Get the Party Started," appearing high above her bandmates in a giant red-lipped mouth and bungee jumping to the stage below in a dizzying display of midair flips and somersaults, accompanied by two male acrobats.

The aerial gymnastics carried over to her second song, an effervescent "Raise Your Glass," as dancers rode flamingo scooters under acrobats suspended on bungee cords attached to giant bunches of bananas, all very on brand for P!NK.

"Turbulence," among several highlights pulled from this year's "Trustfall," found her doing aerial ballet in silk ropes, at one point spinning upside down, while that same album's title track featured breathtaking stunts performed on trampolines.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

The concert ended with her most outrageous aerial hijinks during "So What," soaring high above the crowd while playing to the upper reaches of the stadium in acrobatic harness during a joyous performance of "So What."

P!NK's 2023 tour setlist: 'Who Knew,' 'So What' and every song she sang in Phoenix

P!NK's Phoenix concert included Led Zeppelin, Pat Benatar covers

In those moments, her concerts are very much pop music's answer to Cirque du Soleil, the likes of which few pop stars are in any danger of approaching.

But there's more to P!NK than death-defying aerial gymnastics.

Whether you agree with main support act Brandi Carlile, who praised her as a once-a-generation talent, or not, the sheer artistic range she brings to the proceedings is beyond impressive.

Her musical vision extends from the anthemic EDM flavor of “What About Us” to the hard-rocking covers of songs associated with Led Zeppelin and Pat Benatar and a handful of ballads conveyed with raw emotion, including a video duet with the formerly local Nate Ruess of the Format and fun. on their chart-topping ballad, “Just Give Me a Reason.”

Another quality that always stands out at a Pink show is the strength of the connection she’s established with her fan base and the way she nurtures that connection in the course of her performance.

It feels too genuine and natural to call it playing to the crowd. It feels more like she's sharing stories with her closest friends, injecting charming bits of humor in the story of a visit to her father's grave while dedicating "When I Get There" to everyone mourning their loved ones.

She can be funny and heartfelt and silly and righteous and real, all with equal conviction. And she seems just as natural getting the Led out while channeling Robert Plant on “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You” as she does cavorting with her crew of dancers on the uplifting “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” from her latest album.

She’s all over the map, to be honest. But she ends up sounding right at home no matter where she lands. And she's assembled a stellar assortment of backing musicians and singers to follow her through all those stylistic changes while giving each song what it needs.

It doesn't hurt that P!NK is an uncommonly expressive singer with a commanding voice as rich and powerful as ever nearly 25 years down the road from the release of her first single.

That voice allows her to convey a range of emotions, from the vulnerability of “Just Give Me a Reason” to the swagger it takes to write off a breakup with “So what? I'm still a rock star. I got my rock moves. And I don't need you.”

P!NK's daughter Willow sang 'Cover Me in Sunshine'

She brought her impressively self-assured 12-year-old daughter Willow Sage Hart (introduced as One-Take Willow) out to join her on a track called “Cover Me in Sunshine,” beaming like the proudest mom you’ve ever seen as Willow made the spotlight feel like a natural fit.

And Carlile returned to the stage to join her in paying emotional tribute to the late Sinead O’Connor, who died in July, on a show-stopping cover of “Nothing Compares 2 U,” accompanied only by a grand piano.

Other highlights included Pink's hits "Don't Let Me Get Me," "Just Like a Pill" and "(Expletive) Perfect" to covers of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" (a song she said was brought to her attention by Adele's recording) and Sade's "No Ordinary Love."

Review: How Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl honored late drummer at explosive and joyful Phoenix concert

Who opened for P!NK in Phoenix?

Technically, KidCutUp got the party started several hours prior to Pink's big entrance with a seamless medley of club-ready remixes.

The LA DJ went heavy on classics, from “Big Yellow Taxi” to “We Are Young,” “Mysterious Ways,” “Edge of Seventeen,” “Like a Prayer” and “Heaven Is a Place on Earth.” There were hits by Nirvana, The Clash and Rick Springfield.

He even segued straight from Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire,” retrofitted with block-rocking beats to underscore those mariachi horns, to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” which somehow came off as the perfect setup for the Run-DMC reinvention of Aerosmith’s  “Walk This Way.”

As he was bringing his set to a close with “Heaven Is a Place on Earth,” he told the crowd, “I want to welcome everybody into the Summer Carnival Tour.” Mission accomplished.

Grouplove followed KidCutUp to open for P!NK

Grouplove came out rocking with reckless abandon on “Deleter” as KidCutUp was leaving the stage, one more seamless transition.

With seven musicians on stage, their sound was absolutely massive, an intoxicating wall of sound that underscored their most contagious pop hooks with a sense of urgency that made them that much more inviting.

They’re also blessed with two lead singers equally adept at commanding a stadium crowd.

Their set may have peaked with a spirited romp through "Tongue Tied," a calling card lead singer Hannah Hooper introduced as a song of inclusion, love and "letting people in." A few songs later, their other lead singer, guitar player Christian Zucconi, set up "Colours" with a call to "take care of each other" and "love each other."

In those moments, Grouplove could scarcely have come across as more perfectly suited to the task of welcoming P!NK fans to the Summer Carnival Tour (short of strapping on an acrobatic harness and slingshotting their way across the stadium).

KidCutUp returned to the stage to fill the space between Grouplove and Carlile and a third time after Carlile's set.

Exclusive: How the Beach Boys took 'small town' Phoenix by storm in 1964

Phoenix was Brandi Carlile's last night on the P!NK tour

This was Brandi Carlile's last night on the P!NK tour and she rose to the occasion with a crowd-pleasing set whose highlights included two inspired covers — a suitably noisy rendition of the song that made Radiohead seem like they could be a killer pop band if they wanted, "Creep," and the set-closing triumph that was Carlile's version of "We Are the Champions," a brilliant choice.

She's an engaging presence with a smile that all but dares you not to smile along and a vocal range that was apparent by the time she followed "Broken Horses" with a pair of songs that showcased her elastic upper register — "You and Me on the Rock" and "The Things I Regret."

She and her bandmates sounded amazing on the three-part harmonies of "The Eye" and she turned in her grittiest vocal of the concert on "The Story."

It doesn't hurt that she's assembled an amazing touring band with Shooter Jennings, drummer Matt Cameron (who went from Soundgarden to Pearl Jam to Carlile with assorted stops along the way), three backup singers and a string section.

She's also endearingly funny. Introducing "The Eye," she talked about getting together in Seattle, with Phillip John and Timothy Jay Hanseroth, the twins who were about to join her on those gorgeous bluegrass harmonies.

"The thing that brought us together in Seattle in the late '90s," she said with a smile, "was our love of super-tight three-part harmony. And I don't know if you know what was going on in Seattle in the '90s, but it was not three-part harmony."

After "Creep," noting the kids in attendance, she told the crowd, "I'm sorry about the cursing, but it's in the song."

It was a brilliant set that had the P!NK fans cheering wildly by the time she brought her portion of the night to a triumphant finale with "We Are the Champions."

Raise your glass to P!nk - the ultimate everywoman who has remained an icon throughout her dynamic career

As the UK leg of the star's Summer Carnival tour gets underway, we reflect on some of her greatest highlights

P!nk is the very definition of an everywoman

  • 08:00, 13 May 2024

A glass-raising, party-starting, sparkling stuntwoman; P!nk is the very definition of an everywoman.

An icon with a unique ability to represent whatever you want to see, fans can crash the ultimate P!nk party as she kicks off the UK leg of her hugely anticipated Summer Carnival tour this June. A spectacular show jam-packed with vibrant visuals, breathtaking aerials, heart-pumping dance routines and beautiful vocal harmonies, the Summer Carnival tour is simply not to be missed.

Special guests The Script, GAYLE, and DJ and producer KidCutUp will be joining P!nk as she performs two dates in London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Cardiff before taking her memory-making, gravity-defying show to mainland Europe, before it draws to a close in Stockholm on July 25, 2024. Tickets can be purchased here .

In a career spanning 14 years, The Script have achieved six UK number one albums and have sold 30 million singles, whilst fellow fierce female star Gayle gained rapid fame at the tender age of 16 with her viral hit 'abcdefu' in 2021, securing double-platinum status and earning her first Grammy nomination, two MTV VMA nods and a spot as a Billboard Music Awards finalist. DJ and producer KidCutUp, famous for his performances at various venues, nightclubs and festivals across the globe, is known to P!nk fans for his appearances on her Beautiful Trauma and Summer Carnival world tours.

To date, the Summer Carnival tour has seen almost three million fans attend more than 60 shows across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand - and the same tour has awarded P!nk record-breaker status across Australia and New Zealand. The spectacular tour has helped create lifelong memories that only those who have seen P!nk perform live can truly understand.

As the UK leg of the somersaulting star's Summer Carnival tour begins at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Tuesday, June 11, and wraps up at Hampden Park, Glasgow on Saturday, June 29, we take a look at some of her career highlights - and reasons she remains a beacon of musical brilliance.

Throughout a dynamic career spanning more than two decades, she has established herself as the faithful friend to lean on in times of adversity, weaving relatable lyrics into her hits which always seem to land exactly when you need to hear them. She has used her ever-growing platform to advocate for animal rights and speak out as a passionate voice for the LGBTQ+ community, as well as wowing the world with her sensational aerial acrobatics. Above all else, she has forged a deeply-rooted bond with her audience.

Through her heartfelt and empowering lyrics, spotlighting emotional themes such as resilience and strength, individuality, love, self-image and individuality, P!nk has opened her heart and been incredibly vulnerable with her fans. In doing so, she has continuously laid foundations which have enabled them to do the same - and be, unapologetically, authentically, who they are. This is just one of many beautiful reasons they have remained such a loyal following for the punk princess of pop.

The empowering essence of P!nk

The loveable acrobatic rockstar is an icon, advocate and best friend to everyone - and has continued to sparkle through an exceptional career. Some of her highlights include:

Multiple award wins

P!nk has deservedly scooped 17 awards throughout her career - and has received a further 96 nominations.

Her wins include three Grammy Awards , a Daytime Emmy Awards , four Billboard Music Awards , seven MTV VMA , two MTV EMA and two Brit Awards .

In 2019, P!nk took her children Jameson and Willow - along with her husband, Carey Hart - to accept one of the biggest honours for any pop, movie or TV star - receiving her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Nine studio albums

Her debut album 'Can't Take Me Home' was released in April 2000, featuring 'There You Go', 'Most Girls' and 'You Make Me Sick'. It landed in the top 15 in the UK and was certified platinum.

Her second album 'Missundaztood' was released in November 2001 and featured 'Don't Let Me Get Me', 'Just like a Pill', 'Get the Party Started' and 'Family Portrait'. It went to number 2 in the UK, and was certified 6x platinum.

'Try This' was released in November 2003, featuring singles 'Feel Good Time' - which appeared on the soundtrack to Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle - 'Trouble', 'God Is a DJ' and 'Last to Know'. It went to number 3 in the UK and was also certified platinum.

Pink's fourth album 'I'm Not Dead' was released in April 2006, featuring singles 'Stupid Girls', 'Who Knew' and 'Nobody Knows'. It peaked at number 3 in the UK and was certified 4x platinum.

'Funhouse' landed in October 2008, peaking at number 1 in the UK and was certified 4x platinum, as well as receiving three Grammy Award nominations.

'The Truth About Love' came out in September 2012, featuring singles 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)', 'Try' and 'Just Give Me a Reason' featuring Nate Ruess from Fun. The album also featured artists Lily Allen and Eminem, and went to number 2 in the UK as well as being certified 3x platinum.

'Beautiful Trauma' was released in October 2017, and peaked at number 1 in the UK - and was certified platinum.

'Hurts 2B Human' came out in April 2019, with singles 'Walk Me Home', 'Can We Pretend', 'Hurts 2B Human' and 'Love Me Anyway'. It peaked at number 1 in the UK and was certified Gold.

In February 2023, P!nk released her ninth album 'Trustfall', which features 13 songs, including the title track. She has also released a live album, 'All I Know So Far: Setlist', recorded from her 'Beautiful Trauma World Tour'.

A meaningful audience connection

P!nk is known for her unwavering authenticity and warmth. This never falters, even during her high-energy performances.

During the first night of the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival tour in Sydney, P!nk paused the show when an audience member suddenly went into labour. From one mum to another, P!nk told her: "Good luck! You're gonna be great. You're gonna do great."

In 2018, during her Beautiful Trauma tour, P!nk stopped a show to hug a 14-year-old girl who had recently lost her mum. P!nk was in the middle of performing when she spotted the fan, named Leah, holding a sign reading: "I lost my beautiful mum last month. I would LOVE a hug...please!"

The moment she spotted the sign, P!nk walked out into the crowd to give Leah a long and heartfelt hug, before snapping a photo with her. Leah's mum had been a huge fan of P!nk, but had sadly passed away one month before she was due to see her perform. As P!nk returned to the stage after the hug, she emotionally addressed the audience, urging them to call their mums.

Speaking up for the LGBTQ+ community

P!nk is known for being outspoken about LGBTQ+ rights and assertively supports same-sex marriage. In her 2006 song "Dear Mr. President", the star criticised then-US President George Bush's opposition to gay marriage, singing: "What kind of father would hate his own daughter if she were gay?"

In 2017, P!nk accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award - and dedicated her acceptance speech to her daughter, Willow. The star explained her daughter had told her mum she was "the ugliest girl she knew" and "looked like a boy with long hair" during the ride to school one morning.

In response, in true P!nk fashion, she created a PowerPoint presentation for Willow, filling it with pictures of successful 'androgynous' stars like Annie Lennox and David Bowie, explaining: "Artists that live their truth, are probably made fun of every day of their lives, and carry on, and wave their flag, and inspire the rest of us.”

P!nk went on to explain that she'd told her daughter she too had been told she looks like a boy - but refuses to change herself to please others - and continues to sell out arenas across the world.

She concluded her heartfelt speech by saying that we don’t have to conform to society’s beauty standards, directly addressing Willow - who was in the audience with her dad - telling her: “Baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel in the shell and we make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty.”

Self-expression through style

From a spiky, pink-haired punk princess to a blonde bombshell and everything in-between, P!nk's evolving style has continued to reflect her loveable quirks and vibrant personality throughout her career.

No matter the occasion, from award ceremonies to concerts, P!nk's biggest statement is her smile - and it shows that throughout her style evolution, her wardrobe has reflected who she is, and in turn, she exudes confidence and certainty in who she is.
