How to get Pokémon Go Safari Zone Tickets – 2021

The Pokémon Go event, Safari Zone, is going in a different direction moving forward. To accommodate players who won’t travel to specific cities to attend these events, you can still buy a ticket and participate in the event without leaving your hometown. The Safari Zone cities will still be happening, and if players can attend, great, but it’s not going to be a requirement. To prepare for the upcoming Safari Zone events, here’s where you need to go to purchase Pokémon Go Safari Zone tickets for the 2021 events.

From what we can tell, no additional tickets were added to this event from when they were initially offered in 2020. So if you still had a ticket for these events, you’ll be able to participate in them. You can choose to do that in person or virtually. However, if you’re trying to purchase these tickets, it looks like none of them are available, and no tickets have been added by Niantic at this time.

Three Safari Zone events are happening in 2021. You can participate in the Liverpool, Philadelphia, and the St. Louis ones, each with a different date. You’ll have to visit a specific website to buy tickets for each one. The Liverpool event will be happening from October 15 to 17, the Philadelphia event will be from October 29 to 31, and the St. Louis event will be from November 12 to 14.

If you plan to attend any of these events in person, you will perform an event check-in and RSVP your spot. This way, Niantic can gain a rough estimate of how many people are planning to show up for the event, giving them an idea of how they need to prepare for that, and inform the local city about this information.

While you cannot buy a Safari Zone ticket, if you were able to do this, you’d need to go to the Pokémon Go application, click the ‘Poké Ball’ menu while you’re on the map, and then tap the ‘events’ tab. A list of all the Safari Zones will be available, allowing you to purchase a ticket for the event. In addition, you’ll have the option to purchase tickets for yourself and other players. Some tickets might be offered a ticket drawing, which you will need to enter. They will be offered a first-come-first-serve basis.

If the Safari Tickets for this round turn out to be a success, similar to Pokémon Go Fest 2020, we can expect additional Safari Zones to work like this in the future, making it easier for worldwide players to participate in these events.

Registering for Live Events

• On the following page, all upcoming live events will be listed, starting with the soonest event at the top

First-Come-First-Served Ticketing

Entering a ticket drawing.

• After receiving the email, return to the Events menu and tap the event for which you won the drawing. The following page will now show a Get Tickets button. Use it to begin your registration.
• Choose the event date, time, and quantity of tickets that you would like to buy. Read the descriptions carefully to find the best choice for you, but note that you can only choose one date and ticket type for your entire order.
• Assign any extra tickets to other Trainers (see the next section).
• Review your order, agree to the Niantic Terms of Service , confirm you have read the Niantic Privacy Policy , and complete your payment (if necessary).
• Once complete, you will receive a confirmation email. The Events page will also update with a "virtual ticket" and a button to view your order at any time.

Reserving Tickets for Other Trainers (for orders with 2+ tickets):

Child account event registration (niantic kids & pokémon trainer club).

• The parent or guardian must be logged into their Pokémon GO account.
• Enter the event drawing through the parent or guardian’s account by following the drawing instructions above.
• Monitor the parent or guardian’s email for a notification email indicating that they’ve won the chance to purchase event tickets.
• When selecting the event date and time, be sure to add additional tickets for each child account that will also be in attendance.
• Complete your ticket purchase by following the purchase instructions above, ensuring that the child’s username is selected on the Friend selection screen (Note: Parent and child do not need to be Friends to select the child’s username on the Friend selection screen).
• The parent/guardian must have a Pokémon GO account in order to purchase tickets or enter a drawing.
• The email associated with the parent/guardian’s Pokémon GO account must match the parent/guardian’s email address on file with Niantic Kids/Pokémon Trainer Club.
• When claiming tickets, the parent/guardian can input their child’s username on the friend selection screen, where the relationship will be validated. Attempts by any other account to register tickets for children will not be allowed.
• Unlike with standard accounts, a parent and child don’t need to be Friends to select the child’s username.

Tickets are now available for Pokémon Go Safari Zone: Seville

Pokémon Go players in Spain can now purchase tickets for Pokémon Go Safari Zone: Seville, which will run from May 13 to 15. 

The ticketed event will be held in person at Parque del Alamillo as Spain’s first Safari Zone event. The Safari Zone event will bring “a plethora of Pokémon that embody the spirit of Seville’s fabled founder: Hercules” to players in the area. This includes Tauros, Deino, Miltank, Solrock, and Corphish. 

Full details about the event still aren’t available since it’s more than a month away, but tickets are now live in Pokémon Go . These are split into two types of tickets that will give players access to the Safari Zone content at different times. 

The general admission ticket will cost 21 euros and give players access to the Safari Zone gameplay from 12pm to 6pm local time during the specified event days. There’s also an early access ticket that will cost 26 euros and give players an additional three hours of gameplay, running from 9am to 6pm local time instead. 

To purchase your tickets, you can visit Niantic’s ticketing website via your web browser on PC or mobile. Tickets can sell out since they’re running on a first-come, first-served basis due to this Safari Zone being held as a physical-only event. 

Niantic also noted that all ticket purchases are non-refundable, the event gameplay will only be available at Parque del Alamillo on the specified dates and times, and players need to follow guidelines from local health authorities when playing Pokémon Go with others.

Update April 7 2:48pm CT: As part of the event, players will also be able to encounter Shiny Corphish for the first time. Other “special surprises” may be included, too.

Trainers can either purchase a ticket for one day of the two-day event or a one-day ticket with an additional second day add-on. One-day tickets are ₩11,000 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO City Safari website. You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Pokémon GO City Safari: Seoul event ticket if it hasn’t sold out yet. Event gameplay will be available only at the date, time, and location specified on your ticket.

Note: Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are first come, first served and are available for purchase while supplies last.

After City Safari: Seoul, you can enhance a future visit to the city with a Safari Ticket!

While in Seoul, Trainers can purchase a Safari Ticket from the in-game shop and enjoy a short Special Research experience based on the event-exclusive gameplay featured during City Safari: Seoul. Visit Eevee Explorers locations around the city to earn encounters with featured Pokémon. Who knows what exciting Pokémon will join your journey?

Safari Ticket: Seoul will be available for purchase in the in-game shop for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees) starting Monday, October 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time, and will remain available for purchase for at least one year. Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins. Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that the City Safari event-exclusive Eevee wearing an explorer hat will not be included as an encounter in this Special Research.

Ticket-holding Trainers can gear up to assist Professor Willow and Eevee in learning more about the Pokémon appearing during the event. And Eevee seems ready for a big adventure—Trainers will encounter Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the beginning of the City Safari Special Research!

We encourage Trainers to travel and explore the city with their new Eevee as a buddy. This event-exclusive Eevee can be evolved into any of Eevee’s known Evolutions, so Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, or Sylveon wearing an explorer hat can join the fun!

^ The only way to obtain these Pokémon wearing an explorer hat is by evolving an Eevee wearing an explorer hat using 25 Eevee candy.

Special Pokémon will appear in the wild!

Special Pokémon will appear across Seoul during the event! Plus, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon! Skiddo will currently only appear during Pokémon GO City Safari 2023 events but may appear worldwide at a later date.

The following Pokémon will hatch from Eggs during the event!

Ticket add-ons are active for both days of Pokémon GO City Safari: Seoul—Saturday and Sunday. In order to enjoy event gameplay of Pokémon GO City Safari: Seoul, you must be physically present in Seoul.

Simply open Pokémon GO in Seoul on the date and time stated on your event ticket. Trainers who do not have a ticket will not have access to the event-exclusive content even if they are physically present in Seoul.
