Group Size : 8  Delhi is famous for its tourist attractions, Indian history, and food. And the aim of this tour is to provide local insight experience in Delhi but in an adventurous way with a segway.

Segway is a two-wheeled, battery-powered electric vehicle which is included in the package, At the beginning of the tour, the tour leader and instructor will provide you 5-10 minutes of hands-on orientation session explaining to you how to drive a segway safely. In addition, you will have to wear the safety gears like helmet, elbow pads, and knee pad which we shall be provided during the tour. As a part of daily hygiene protocol, proper care of hygiene and sanitation is maintained all through to ensure the utmost care and personal safety of the guests.

There are 3 different itineraries to choose from: ​Delhi Art District Tour The duration of this tour is 1-hour including the orientation session. The itinerary is best suitable for art lovers since the lanes offer 50+ murals along the way. A mural is any piece of artwork painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling, or other permanent surfaces. You will get to visit the colours of the soul by SENKOE, mural near Khanna Market, art by Yip Yew Ching, Sam Lo’s mural, art with the message of justice, equality, health and fortune, and many more.  ​​Lutyen’s Delhi Tour​ Lutyens' Delhi is an area in New Delhi that is named after the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. He was responsible for building a lot of famous architectural structures. The duration​ of this tour is one hour including the orientation session at the start point of the tour​. You will be covering the Secretariat​, ​Rashtrapati Bhawan (subject to permission of security personnel)​, ​Parliament House​, ​the scenic beauty surrounding the Ministry buildings on Rajpath​, ​various government buildings​, ​Amar Jawan Jyoti​, ​India Gate​, and finally conclude the whole tour at the start point. ​​

Historic Delhi Tour The duration of this tour is 1 hour and 45 minutes including the orientation session at the start point of the tour. This tour is an add-on to the Lutyen's tour. You will be covering places such as Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, the scenic beauty surrounding the Ministry buildings on Rajpath, various government buildings, etc. The add on in this tour will be Baroda House (the residence of the Maharaja of Baroda in Delhi), Pragati Maidan​, ​Purana Quila​, ​Delhi Zoo​, ​Masjid Khairul Manzil​, and many more amazing places.  How to Reach:  Karol Bagh metro station is the closest to the starting point at just a 2-minute rickshaw ride. You can also take a private taxi to reach the starting point.

• Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed.
• Social distancing to be maintained.
• Hand sanitization is necessary.
• The use of a mask is mandatory when moving out of the room or the property.
• To ensure utmost hygiene, the pieces of equipment are daily cleaned and sanitized.
• The tour can be availed as a private tour for 8 or more people. Below that, it will be formed and catered as a group departure.
• The segway PT is appropriate for those weighing more than 30 kg and not exceeding 100 kg.
• All tourists should have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance
• Children aged 12 and below are not permitted on the tour for safety reasons.
• Children aged 13-18 must be accompanied by a guardian for safety reasons.
• Advance purchase is strongly recommended, as tour size is limited and often sells out quickly.
• The primary language is English however tour guides on request can address the guests in Hindi as well.
• Since the tour is of short duration only limited stops at select locations will be made where you can take photos from outside
• You can enjoy this experience anytime between Monday to Friday from 5.15 AM to 8.15 AM or on weekends and holidays from 5.15 AM to 9 AM.
• Guests must arrive at the start point with prior booking at least 20 minutes before the chosen tour start time.
• Every participant must carry a valid Govt. issued photo ID and present on arrival as the tour covers a few security-sensitive locations.
• The tour will start at the scheduled time and will not wait for anyone who has not reached the venue 20 minutes prior.
• Tour vouchers once issued are non-refundable.
• Stopover of 3 minutes will be given for photography only at select locations due to security.
• Guests are requested to be with the group for their own safety and security and strictly adhere to the same.
• You will be personally liable for any mishap due to non-compliance with security instructions.
• All safety gear and Segway must be handed over to the tour leader at the end of the tour.
• This activity can be availed as a private or group tour

Segway Tour, Delhi: Cancellation Policy

• If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If Cancellations are made within 0-48 hours prior to the activity, 100% of the activity cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

• The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
• All applicable refunds will be done in traveller's thrillophilia wallet as Thrillcash

On a short trip to Delhi for two days, I went to join this tour with some of my Delhi based friends. I booked the package through Thrillophilia. Their prompt service was very satisfactory. Though the activity is scheduled for 45 minutes, somehow ours got extended to 1 hour. It was a nice experience. It was just a part of my one day Delhi sightseeing trip. Still, had a nice time and fun with my crazy friends. Thanks guys. Looking forward to having more fun next time. Thanks.

Super easy with Thrillophilia. The service was good, 1-hour is enough to try the rides. The first time expereince was not bad but definitely would do this again... and also recommend this to all people that really worth a try.

Easy and difficult at the same time. Tried it in Delhi on the Rajpath and India Gate stretch since the road is the best here. We were first trained to operate a Segway and then were left to be riding all alone.

But the best part of course was the trip itself. The entire itinerary was well planned. Our tour guide Mr. Ayush was the best one could ever have. Being a local, and an avid trekker himself, he was very knowledgable and one could feel his deep love for the mountains in the bits of information that he shared with us every now and then. His excellent relations with the Hotels and home-stays on the way ensured that we got the best treatment wherever we went. The places to stay were also very well chosen. They had the best views and all the amenities one could hope for in such trying terrain. The high point of our stay was Pema's Home Stay in Chitkul. A grest experience of the Himachali delicacies - the Yak butter tea, the Sea Buckthorn Tea, Sea Buckthorn Jam, Tipri and many more served with lots of love and affection. As far as the journey is concerned - well this was the Spiti Valley - as beautiful as ever - no words to describe its beauty. Mention must be made of our driver Mr. Bharat. We could enjoy every bit of the scenic journey and admire the high mountains and deep valleys only because we knew we were in his safe hands! Lutyens’ Delhi is an area in New Delhi, India, named after the British architect Edwin Lutyens (1869–1944), who was responsible for much of the architectural design and building when India was part of the British Empire in the 1920s and 1930s.

Just a century ago, the British moved the seat of their empire from Kolkata to Delhi. And it has been the Capital of India ever since. Now a thriving, cosmopolitan metro, the city has much to celebrate as it has already reached the milestone of completing 100 years as a Capital. With a history that goes back many centuries, Delhi showcases an ancient culture and a rapidly modernising country. Dotted with monuments there is much to discover here. The tour will start at the scheduled time and will not wait for anyone who has not reached the venue 20 minutes prior.

Tour Voucher once issued are non-refundable

Stopover of 3 minutes will be given for photography only at select locations due to security.

You must at all times remain with the group for your own safety and security and strictly adhere to the security. instructions.

You will be personally liable for any mishap due to non-compliance of security instructions.

All safety gears and Segway must be handed over to the tour leader at the end of the tour.

Why to visit segway ride.

Learn about Delhi's past as you go around in an electric vehicle that is powered by batteries. Using a Segway, you can travel through many of Delhi's famous and historic locations. This particular bike trip is well-known on the Rajpath side.

About the Segway Ride activity:

• Even if you are a complete beginner, a tour guide and instructor will give you a hands-on orientation session demonstrating how to drive a segway safely in 5–10 minutes.
• The Segway tour will begin at Vijay Chowk. The trip lasts for about an hour and makes stops at Rajpath's Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, different government structures, India Gate, the Zoo, and the Art Gallery.
• A briefing including all necessary safety measures, such as adequate training, helmets, and safety pads, usually precedes the trip.

Suggestion : wear comfortable clothes, sunglasses, and sun protection.

Location of the activity : Rajpath, New Delhi

Meeting Point : South Block Of Secretariat, Vijay Chowk

Timings : 5:00 am to 9:00 am

FAQ on SEGWAY RIDE

Will there be a photographer accompanying me on my Delhi Segway ride?

No, you won't be given a photographer for this tour. Since this is a brief tour, you must have your own camera or mobile device so you can take images just at specific locations.

Can kids participate in the Delhi Segway ride?

No, for safety reasons, children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the trip. 13 to 18-year-olds must always be accompanied by an adult.

Is the Delhi Segway ride available every day?

Yes, the Delhi Segway Rude is open every day, however the hours vary. This experience is available every day of the week from 5.15 am to 8.15 am, as well as on weekends and holidays from 5.15 am to 9 am.

Is it a group activity or a private tour?

It is a private tour that can hold up to 8 people at once and needs to be reserved in advance. If you want to take this tour, you should purchase your tickets in advance to have a hassle-free experience.

Special Tip

The tour slots begin at 5am and go till 9am since there is something enchanted and peaceful about Delhi in the early morning hours (last slot). Don't forget to arrive early. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Do carry sunscreen lotion and Sunglasses
