My daughter and I took the windmills and countryside tour. It was a beautiful, wonderful experience. Our guides and driver were joyful and helpful - Romie, Clark, Dimitri I would take the tour again if ever I return to Amsterdam.

Our Windmills & Countryside All-In Tour was a letdown. Poor communication and disorganization from the guides led to missed experiences and confusion. The tour was rushed, with no breaks for meals and unclear instructions. We did not get to attend the experiences that were promised. Despite raising concerns, the company refused compensation. The tour is not worth the price paid. I cannot recommend this tour based on our experience.

Took the Volendam, Marken, and Windmills Day Trip from Amsterdam. Our Guides were Toni and Serri ! Tour was awesome! Wish we could have stayed a little longer at the windmills area. That's the first stop. Was super cool and you see how they use the same methods from way back in the day! There's a whole village there! Wanted more time in it. Windmills were pretty. Had a coffee place right after in it and we ordered two and she said "if I have time..." what?! So we just left. Walked around and wished we had more time at that location to see everything in that village there. Next stop was where they made shoes/clogs. Was very interesting to see though they still don't look that comfy! Last place was Vaandamm where we did a cheese tour. That was super awesome and you got to try a lot of cheese. I found out which ones I like and bought a few, though the people at the cash register were NOT nice at all. Weird. But good cheese. Then we went around shopping. Has some cute little shops. They recommended a restaurant but we weren't hungry so we just kept window shopping. There was a stroopwaffles tour we missed because we were one minute late. But got to try different stroopwaffles so its all good. Headphones didn't work on the tour. I let them know so their mechanic could fix that one spot. Your guides were so sweet and awesome and I'd totally go on a tour with them again...

Went on one of their guided tours. A young couple brought an infant that cried uncontrollably during the whole tour. They were trying to be good parents but there are times when that does not work. We didn't hear most of the tour. When we got back I asked if there was something they could do so we could do the tour again. In short they said "too bad, so sad, but no." So if you want to book with this group know your answer will be the same. If something outside of your control happens that makes the tour much less than what you hoped for or paid their answer will be "too bad, so sad but nope".

Terrible experience. Booked 4 tickets for the Zaanse Schans, Volendam, and Marken Trip. When we arrived, we discovered it was oversold and we couldn't board. No alternative was offered but here's the worst: Tours & Tickets would not give our money back!!!! Everyone in the office said they were sorry but were not authorized to give a refund.

We booked 2 tours at a discounted price when we purchased our Holland Passes. The first was a walking tour of Amsterdam, which I highly recommend. We had a limited amount of time in the city, and had certain things that were on our "can't miss" list. This tour walked us through those parts of town that we were interested in, yet wouldn't have time to fully explore. It gave us a decent overview of several areas: the Red Light District, Chinatown, the Begijnhof, Dam Square, and the Nine Streets neighborhood. Our guide, Yvette, did a great job of keeping our diverse group (Aussies, Americans, Germans and Portuguese) together, on the move, and informed. At the Begijnhof, we were given a little free time to take lots of pictures and explore the church on the property. As a group, we took a break at a cheese shop in town where we were given samples, not only of cheese, but the Dutch national liquor, Genever (also spelled Jenever). Genever is known as Dutch gin by Americans, but the Dutch liken it to whiskey. After a little more touring, we said our goodbyes at Dam Square and were left to continue exploring the city on our own. We had booked a second tour for the day, a tour of the Red Light District, but, as we had arrived in Amsterdam that morning, were feeling jet lagged, and our feet were not up to another walking tour. We inquired at the tour counter if we could change our 2nd tour to a canal cruise, and were allowed to do so. Look for that review under the KINboat business page. I can't recommend Tours and Tickets enough. There are so many different tours and price point options that you are sure to find something that fits your vacationing style and timeframe. I don't normally like scheduled tours, because they never give you enough time to see/photograph everything, especially when in a larger group, but the walking tour fit our needs perfectly. 28/2019

It was a wonderful tour to Bruges despite the rainy day. The double decker bus was comfortable so the 2.5 hour drive didn't seem as long. It also has an on-board toilet which makes it convenient. Pieter was a good tour guide. He pointed out areas of interest and other historical places. He also made recommendations on where to eat and where to buy gifts such as chocolate. Bruges is a beautiful place especially this time of year. I recommend this tour.

Just came inside to redeem our tour voucher. The woman (Ana) at the counter seemed nice at first but when I couldn't understand her she got offended and was completely rude along with rolling her eyes. This is a tourism office, you deal with people from all over the world if someone cannot understand you please be patient with them. I'm giving 4 stars generously because the other employees were nice and helpful.

I Am currently on a day trip to Burges from Amsterdam. The bus was nice enough, but prepare yourself for at least a three hour drive. That is not bad as long as you are aware of how far this destination really is from Central Station in Amsterdam. Once at Burges, we were shuffled off the bus with no direction on if we could keep our belongings on the bus. As it turns out, yes you can. However, getting this answer was hard to do. Here is where the experience goes downhill fast. We were all given hearing devices so that we could hear the guided tour. Over half of the devices did not work. When the group told the guide (Adrian), he didn't seem to care and suggested that we listen to it on the Spanish channel of the device. I don't speak Spanish. However, the only difference between the channels is what he is speaking. So after quite some time, he realized that he could also speak English on the Spanish channel. Amazing realization! But, to our dismay, the Spanish channel also only broadcast about every third word. The guide still did not seem to care and even asking him to speak up to hear him seemed like I was annoying him. Long story short, if you want to spend a long journey on a bus to see a small town that is nice and cute and deal with a horrible tour company, then this is the trip for you. All would have been fine if there was at least a little bit of empathy coming from the tour guide. But the NO to a request to speak was all that I got.

Let me just start the review with this: the night ended with me being taken to hospital by paramedic, due to a crash our tour driver caused. The tour itself: my husband and I decided to book this because we had one full day in Amsterdam and the Netherlands, we had used the CityBus Hop On and Off Service in many cities and always enjoyed it. While booking that, we saw the "Country Tour" and took a chance. Unfortunately, for us at least, we felt it was a very cheesy and gimmicky tour with three stops to what looked like Disneyland villages. It was nice to learn a little about a windmill, clogs and cheese but it was all extremely rushed and touristy. My favorite part was the freshly made waffle at the very end of the night, it was pretty darn good. The crew was overall nice, but we felt they over did it in personality sometimes. Even without what happened next, we would not recommend this tour to our friends and family as we know this is not our type of travel; but to each their own. Now, what happened at the end of the evening. We took the afternoon tour so when we were finally done and headed back into Amsterdam it was around 20:15 PM. The driver, whose name started with an "S" was given the mic to entertain the bus, while driving.... so he was driving one handed, one hand with the mic and "teaching Dutch," which really was telling jokes. He looked back at the bus and when he looked forward, the two cars in front of him were apparently stopped. My husband and I were on the bottom level of the bus, with our seatbelts on, which were only the lap belts. The driver did break, but it was too late. We were on the expressway and going too fast. We slammed into the cars in front of us, the bus windshield was completely shattered. The two forward vehicles were propelled a significant distance in front of the bus from the impact. We were then evacuated off the bus and onto the expressway, then climbed over the metal barriers to try and get "some" protection. It was extremely cold, it was the last week of October around 21:00 PM by this point. No one on our bus appeared to be injured. The paramedics arrived and I told them that I was 4 months pregnant. They took me into the ambulance to evaluate and after checking my vitals, the doctor that was called onto the scene directed them to take me to hospital for an ultrasound. Another one of the drivers of the other vehicles was seriously injured, according to the paramedic. We are in the process of getting our money back for this tour, as I'm sure they would rather give us our money back & pay for any medical bills I have accrued because of this, rather then be sued. Do yourself a favor and if you are going to do a tour like this, do it with a more professional and safe company.
