Best time for travel countryside of the emerald isle.
While just about any month is great to visit Ireland, there are a few prime times of the year for the Countryside of the Emerald Isle tour. Here are some recommendations from our destination experts.
Spring: After a sleepy winter, the Emerald Isle reveals its lush landscape against fields bursting with bluebells, daffodils, and frolicking spring lambs. The season heralds longer days, which means more time to visit must-see sites without the crowds.
Summer: In the course of a summer day in Ireland, it might feel like you’re experiencing all four seasons! As the sun sets late in the evening, longer days mean having more time to take in the spectacular scenery and see the landscape in full bloom.
Fall: September through early November is a great time to visit Ireland with fewer crowds, shorter waiting times, and beautiful foliage. Delicious local cuisine starts to feature root vegetables and hearty stews.
